Steve was very professional and took the time to explain to me what was going on with my car and kept me up to date with its progress. Steve makes sure to get me going until I am able to come back to finish the other recommendations on my car. I am a hundred percent satisfied with LA Auto Center.

Ask for help from Aaron, my got got us back on the road at a reasonable price! Sergio the manager however, tried charge me extra when I went to the bathroom he changed the price for my girlfriend that he originally quoted me. Not cool but Aaron is legit and will help you out !

Ive been to quite a few mechanics with my last car and was never satisfied. After a recent accident I took my car here and they were amazing!!! I let them know that I was tight on funds and they made sure to fix just what was necessary to make my car drivable. They also helped me get signed up for financing to cover the cost so I could have more time to pay it off. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Any time my car needs work I know where Ill be going.

Very professional. I found them through AAA as a preferred provider. Honest. I called about a problem. They told me what to do. Said it should not cost more than $50. Went to two different shops both saying it would cost $250. I said well if its going to cost that much Im going to take it to LA Auto my mechanic. It only cost me $50 saving me $200. I had just barely made it home when they called, jobs complete. I HIGHLY recommend LA Auto. Very satisfied customers for years.

Rob was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He took the time to explain everything to me and even alerted me to a recall for my car that I wasnt aware of. He was very thorough and showed me what needed to be repaired on my car after the 40-point AAA inspection.I definitely have switched over to him as my personal mechanic and will gladly refer him to all of my family and friends.

I recommend this place brought my car here twice. I was recommended by the AAA guy and first time it was my alternator. Parts placed were the original for my car. The price was good enough.Second visit was this week and they fixed my car quickly and were honest. I am pleased to have LA auto center near me. The communication is excellent regardless of how busy they can be.

So I was in the 101 north, headed home from O.C, just before the Union Station exit, when my cars ball joint decided to the up on me and drop the ground right there and then. AAA tow truck driver suggested LA Auto Center, and I said yes.We got there and were greeted by Andy. He had one of his guys check the vehicle, which didnt take very long, as the damage was pretty obvious and the tow truck driver had also filled them in on what was going on. He gave me a reasonable estimate for just the repairs that needed to get done in order to get me home and have a mechanic closer to me perform the necessary repairs on the other non-related issues.They kept the car overnight, and when I called them the following morning to let them know I would be junking the vehicle, Andy said no problem, well see you here. I got there, he gave me the keys and said you dont owe me anything. What do you mean? You guys checked it. Let me at least pay the diagnostic fee. He said that wouldnt be necessary, but that if I was inclined to pay something, I could tip the mechanic who inspected it. So that I did.Im so glad that they could truly lighten such a stressful time. Very glad the driver suggested this place, and if my next vehicle decides to break down anywhere near there, Ill be the one asking to be taken here.

LA Auto Center is an AAA shop, not far from USC campus. Had gotten a quote over the phone for gas tank replacement on a 98 Camry that was way more reasonable than the dealer. They special ordered the part, replaced needed sensors, and accepted payment over the phone. Advice was realistic and candid. Just how we like it.

A good autoshop. The man who worked with me had some professionalism and seemed to know what he was doing. The only qualm I have is the pricing. Was a real bit of thinking to see if it was worth it, but I did see that they did a good job, so no harm done.

The only reason why I took my car to this location was because AAA recommended, but they actually overcharge and dont get the job done. I already complained to AAA about their service but they still sending new customers to this location. They did a repair more than a year ago on my car and still having the same problem, cost me a lot of money. I being back several times to get it fix... but there was a damage done to the body of my car one time, another time I had to wait for few weeks to find out my car was just seating there and not getting anything done. Instead of telling me they dont know what is the problem with my car they just kept telling to bring my car back to them but the problem was never resolved. I hope to find a good and honest mechanic on the future.

Our car broke down on the 110 at 11:30 at night, and AAA towed to LA Auto Center. Got a call the next morning. Were told hed look and call back around lunch time and he did! Fixed the car for much less than we feared. Very polite, I would definitely take the car in for regular service here if we lived closer.

Part of my AAA service as my car needed a tow and repair due to a blown radiator and hose. Given that my Ford Fusion Sport needed special parts (due to it being a special edition and not base model), they were able to order the necessary parts and turn my car over quick. There was a issue with my windshield fluid nozzles that may (keyword may) have been an effect of the repairs. They handled business and fixed the problem ASAP.Overall, the service was excellent and I have a good warranty on the repairs. Daniel, Cesar, and the female (did not get her name) were professional, courtesy, and friendly. The tow service and driver (forgot his name) was excellent in getting my car out to this center, while dealing with L.A.s notorious downtown traffic.

I had a bad experience with them. They do not do their job well, and when you ask them to solve the problem, they say it does not.

Went here after my car was broken into and battery stolen. Towing guy was super friendly, and when they gave me the price on repairing the window and I passed they gave me the name and address of a great place that could do it for a lot less. I would definitely recommend LA Auto Center to anyone in need a of dependable mechanic. My 20 year old son recently moved to California from NJ and mistakenly put diesel fuel in his gas tank and his car stopped running. He called me in New Jersey to help him find a mechanic to fix the car. I am in the car business in New Jersey and needed to put my trust in an unknown mechanic in Los Angeles who could repair and tow the car without over charging me. I found that mechanic in Steve from LA Auto Center, we spoke on the phone where he assured me that this happens more often than you would think and quoted me a fair price for the repair. Fishy. Very fishy. They were actually charging me $650! For an alternator!!!!! What the fudgeAnd I go and pick it up. And they tell me a different story. Is the belt. And not surprisingly they wanted to charge me $200 for that crapI can do that at home and buy the belt for $15. Such an awful place. Is a rip off dont go there.

Company has shady business tactics.Especially David the parts order guy or what ever. spent 900 bucks on a new power steering pump. Took it back the next day bc same problem happened then they tried to upsell for an additional 600 bucks. My mom who has more experience called up there and all of a sudden they did it free with parts and labor. Do not these guys even if tripple A refers you. To say the least I had a very bad experience here especially for the price I paid.

Very very unprofessional. They replaced radiator, first problem I met when I was picking up my car, was I couldn’t open my hood. They told me to wait for another half day to fix it. That afternoon I arrived the scond time, I found some bolts are missing. And hood was not 100% fixed.Out of trust issue, I ignored their suggestion of leaving in there again, I drove away and plan to look for another auto repair that I can trust.

I bought a 2019 escalated and want to get a general tune up and put on some mud tiers since my Escalate had a factor lift already, well just wanted to tanck MS. Nancy Rodriguez she helped me with everything from ever lil detail I had a really nodes that Ms. Nancy understand me I to be honest I did get surprised that Ms. Nancy new about costume details, really really good costumer service from 1-10 I have to say 💯. My car had problems with uneven tire wear. I was concerned about the struts having gone bad, and indeed the service department at a dealer suggested that this is the repair I needed. I took my car to LA auto center after reading the online reviews. Angel provided great and honest service. Guess what, I do not need new struts, they are good, I only need an alignment. I will definitely be recommending and returning to this place.

Found this place through AAA and they did quality work without over charging. Another shop had grossly misdiagnosed with a huge price tag but we paid a fraction on what the other shop quoted and got the repair done right the first time.

Absolutely the worst place to ever take your vehicle to. I have a bmw 2007, 3 series and after I took it to this place for a radiator pipe replacement, they told me theres not enough coolant so I let them put more coolant inside.After checking up with my own mechanic, he found out there was the wrong type of coolant inside the radiator. If that wasnt bad enough they also didnt put some stuff back in the car for example some engine covers and they claim that they forgot to put it back in. Also my battery stoped working properly after I took my car there so I suspect that they changed my battery too. I am extremely unsatisfied with their service and I would never recommend anyone to take their car to this place. Its absolutely the worst thing you can do to yourself.
