I came by after the guy at Valvoline said I needed something or other done beyond my regular oil change. The mechanic here was nice and honest. He said the guy at Valvoline was talking me up, my car was fine, and to come to him for my next oil change. He is my regular mechanic now and I plan to go there to have some work done soon.

John is an incredibly honest and friendly mechanic who cares about his customers. I came in urgently for an oil change at around 3:30 and called beforehand. John told me to come in right away which was a relief to hear since my local dealerships werent willing to take me in the same day. I was in and out in about 20-30 minutes. Best of all, the price was extremely fair and I didnt feel ripped off at all. My dealerships usually charge double the amount for a simple service plus additional costs for labor just for inspecting my vehicle.I thought I needed a tire rotation as well and asked John about it, and he advised me that I should be getting a wheel alignment done once a year instead because of the way the tires on my specific cars model is designed. This is some super honest advice that dealerships wouldnt even dare to tell me. I also heard John speaking to some customers over the phone and I could tell he is wiling to help people out to the best of his abilities. Im relieved to have found finally a great mechanic in the LA area.

Oscar carefully explains what is wrong with each customers car to not only educate them, but to also provide a fair assessment of their problem. He never pushes people to spend money on a repair unless its necessary.Its safe to say that J&S Onestop provides years of mechanic experience without the hassle of going to the dealership (and at much more affordable prices!).

I visited the shop this morning, John was very kind and professional, helping me check the brake pad, and provide good advice for pad remaining life. Definitely will bring my car to him in the future.

I got just my break pad and a hose replaced. But they were amazing! Super fast and super helpful. Straight to the point honest good service. I am blown away. My dad is a mechanic and who I used to go to but he lives in another state and Ive had to find someone else. Definitely going to them for everything. Great prices, service, honest and respectful. They make a wrong estimate by ripping off the price of women. Pretending to be concerned, pretending to be informed, cheating women only. Google reviews are all false and manipulated, and when you point out the price, he become unfriendly and annoyed to you. Women should never go here!

John brings old school customer service! He is quick to give advice and takes the time to sit and explain things to you. Hes not pushy and doesnt try to upsell you, he simply wants to provide his years of experience to anyone who walks into his shop. I would trust him to do any service on my car.

I also own a 1980s dodge camper van so i know a looooot of mechanics. My instinct has been honed to perfection at this point. John is the only guy I take my daily driver (2014 Subaru) to. He’s extremely honest, quick, accommodating, and just a good guy. He’s the type of mechanic who when you’re too early for an oil change and other normal stuff will turn you around and tell you it’s not time yet. Very rare for mechanics to turn away business. Can’t recommend John enough really.

I went for an oil change based on the overwhelmingly positive Yelp reviews, and was not disappointed.John was polite and friendly. On my most recent visit, he told me a part would still be under warranty and to take it to the dealer for that particular repair.Prices are great and location is convenient. I highly recommend!

J&S is the only place I go since it has relocated in current location when I need to fix my used 2008 Honda Element and oil changes quarterly. He always gives the best feedback financially and professionally how to deal with my car and also lots of useful advices. I used to go early in the morning when it opens, there is always fresh coffee while waiting also.

The owner of this business is a rude old man. He doesnt want to hear why you brought your car in for service. He knows everything just by looking at the car without even opening the hood. Just had to leave before I said something I normally dont say to old people.
