I have been going to Tropical tans for a few months now and I absolutely love it. The staff is amazing and the owner is truly one of kind. She’s such a kind hearted woman with an amazing spunky sense of humor! I love this place. The ladies in the front are very nice and excellent at remembering names. Even the name of a new and non-frequent customer like me. The beds are alwaysclean, and the prices are very fair for the variety of packages that they offer. I do know theyre in the process of aquiring a couple of new beds to go along with the great selection they currently have.

The staff is always super friendly and they make it a point to know your name and what beds you like. The beds are hot and its easy to build a nice tan in just a few visits! Wont go anywhere else in longview :)

To begin, I am sure that the unpleasant employee is no longer working at Tropical Tans. Every time I walk in I am greeted by either a smile from the front counter or a friendly hello shouted from a tanning room by an employee cleaning a bed. Most of the time I use the 15 minute or 12 minute beds with no tanning lotion and have no problems building a beautiful tan. I have also had a great experience with their spray tan. For one, the spray tan is more like an air brush fashion and is hand sprayed by the owner herself. Of course, you cant be too modest, but I loved that the spray was applied lighter in my naturally darker areas (knees, elbows, underarms, face). My experience with Tropical Tans has been nothing but pleasant, there is a reason they have won Locals Love US so many years consecutively!

Great experience! Friendly staff and helpful with tanning lotions, affordable prices for tanning, and hardly ever have to wait when I make an appointment when I do wait it’s never for very long and it’s usually because I showed up early for my appointment.

My wife and I had been going to Tropical Tans for a month in preparation for our trip to the Bahamas so we wouldnt burn to a crisp when we should be enjoying our vacation . Planning ahead right ?In the course of our visits we chatted with the owner several times. One particular occasion there were bad storms being forecast. I mentioned that my wife had prepared our hallway closet the day before when there had been tornadoes in the area. (Planing ahead right? If a person threatens you there are a few options. You can reason with them, fight them or call the police etc. None of these work with mother nature. ) Anyhow we had a relived little chuckle about getting all prepared and that was that. But the next few times we came to visit the owner wouldnt let it go. She started making disparaging remarks aimed towards my wife like just now getting out of the closet ?Now we have a sense of humor but after awhile it comes across as picking or an attempt at bullying when made in front of staff an other customers that dont have any refrence.
