I just purchased my first RV from Hayes RV Center. The experience has been outstanding.Austin was very helpful in showing me many RVs and listened and helped to guide me in making the right choice for me. Tara took several phone calls throughout the week calming me down when my bank dropped the ball not once but twice on wire transfers. Then today, Curtis did a walk through of the RV with me giving me a wealth of knowledge. He was so patient with me, taking extra time to go back over items that I felt a little uncertain about. He also delivered the RV and maneuvered it EXACTLY to where I wanted while keeping a smile, then made sure I was comfortable with everything before he left. ππ
Purchased our first Jayco travel trailer at Hayes. Bobby was a pleasure to work with on the purchase. Really enjoyed the lot where you can walk around and enter RVs without being pressures by salesmen. After the purchase Curtis did a great job explaining how all of the various systems on the trailer worked. He even spent about 30 minutes helping me troubleshoot some issues with my trailer connection (blown fuses).
My current residence is 14 hours away from East Texas. I had to get in a new RV right away so I could get here to start my new job. Hayes RV acted quickly and efficiently to get me squared away. I highly recommend Hayes RV. They are so easy to work with. I did everything over the phone and when I came to look at my camper it was already pulled aside and ready to go. Exactly what I told them I wanted. It was a quick and easy process I was able to do while working full time and unable to get up there in person. They gave us the best deal out of all the places we looked at. They also had the best inventory considering inventory has been down since last spring. They were very thorough in the walk through and I needed that because this was my first camper purchase. Go to Hayes!
We had a wonderful experience buying our Grey Wolf camper from Hayes RV! We were greeted when we got there and told to look around and let them know if we needed anything! We looked at MANY RVs without being βstalkedβ by salesman! When we made up our mind, we walked in and immediately Bobby made us feel at ease and answered every question. Ended up financing with my own bank, but they are kind and courteous and very willing to help even though I kept them after closing time. Check them out, nice selection and friendly staff. The salesman didnt do a walk around, but during delivery the tech blew me away with his demo. I found out things I had no clue existed on what I had purchased. Way to go Steven.

I bought a camper from Hayes and the sales guys were very good. However the service department has some of the worst attitudes that I have ever dealt with. Its like you owe them and they are doing you a favor by answering a question. One of the older guys there just needs to retire...
This dealership has the friendliest staff and offer the opportunity for you to browse through all the campers without any pushy sales tactics. It was such a nice change knowing that IF I needed anything, all I had to do was ask. Otherwise, I was free to spend as much time in the campers as I wanted as well as take pictures, measurements, etc. Very nice facilities with an updated customer lounge with fresh baked cookies, coffee, bottled water and even hot chocolate. The restrooms are updated, clean and spacious. I noticed they had a pretty large parts department and a service department as well. As I said, a great dealership. I willdefinitely be back!

Our purchase started with a phone call to Bobby Shelton - Hayes RV had the unit we were looking for! Bobby answered ALL of my questions, and continued to text with me, to expedite the approval process. He met us after hours on a Monday evening so we could have a quick look at the unit. We drove back on Friday to do our walk through with David Foster. David was also wonderful, answering all of our questions about our new Jayco Eagle, getting the hitch installed and setting us up for departure. There was not one glitch, hitch or problem in the entire process, no surprises - not one. It was the buying experience we all hope for. I have already referred Hayes to friends, saying it is worth the drive from the metroplex area. Bobby and David were a pleasure to work with - even our finance lady was lovely! Highly recommend!

Great experience. I knew exactly the RV I wanted, found it at Hayes at a very reasonable price. Thanks Dillon! Technician checked everything out to make sure all was working in the RV and then thoroughly took us through all the aspects of using the RV. He said we could call him at any time if we had questions. Also received a 10% discount on any RV accessories since I purchased an RV at Hayes. I plan to continue to use them for maintenance and service and any future RVs I purchase.
UPDATE!!Hayes battled thru this issue for me and fully stood behind their work. Kim did a great customer service job.Jayco is the looser. They built a bad unit and would not stand behind producing a lemon. Hayes had to do the corrections and hopefully they managed but they did do the best they could.Poorest service I ever have experienced. I had a total replacement of a slide unit on a Jayco Melbourne 2017 and spent 2 months an 2700 dollars for the repair. I opened an closed the slide 6 times and it TOTAL failed and locked up. Now it is back at Hayes. It has been there for a month and no one has bothered to call me with a status and when I called after being put on hold twice, the service person had to aske me when did you bring it in . It is in his records and he has had a month to figure that out. Dont trust this business! Their service department is not capable of doing anything right. They cannot even talk on the phone an provide information.
This is my second RV to buy from Hayes RV, the first was 14 years ago. Then as well as now they were very friendly and made the process smooth and easy.

Thank you Mr. Hayes for trying to make it right. I was impressed with your quick response.***Original Review***My travel trailers A/C unit was having some vibration issues. I called the A/C manufacture (Dometic) and was told to bring it to an Authorized Service Center. Hayes RV was one of the local service centers, so I took it there and asked for warranty repair. They said the bolts were loose and just had to be tighten. They also said it was not covered by the warranty because they did not have to order any parts (they didnt even contact Dometic). I thought it was weird because I tried to tighten the bolts before I took it there for the repair, and they were all tight. They charged me $120 for tightening the bolts. I thought that was too much but went ahead and paid.On the next camping trip, the A/C started spitting out some ice, so I went up on the roof and looked at the outside unit. Of course the coil (evaporator?) was all iced up. I also noticed what Hayes service did to fix the vibration. They did not tighten the bolts. They just put a piece of wood and charged me $120 for it. I was just shocked to find out.I had another Dometic Authorized Service to check on the A/C, and they replaced the entire outside unit for free under the warranty.

We had been looking at fifth wheels for over a year, after having owned a travel trailer for a few years. Looked in the DFW area, Abilene, and LongviewβHayes RV Center. Once we had narrowed down the brand (Jayco) and the model (Eagle HT 30.5CKTS), we had to decide who and where the best dealer was to purchase from. Hayes RV Center was the one we finally chose to work with. The sales representative, Bobby Shelton, walked us through several models they had in stock, on our first visit. Over a month laterβweβd been shopping at other placesβwe went back to Longview and purchased our Jayco fifth wheel from Hayes RV, and Bobby Shelton. We felt right at home there: no pressure to buy, good information from Bobbyβvery knowledgeable, and we felt we got a fair offer for our trade in and a good, competitive price on our new fifth wheel. When we went back to Hayes to pick up our Jayco Eagle, the technician, Curtis, that walked us through everything we needed to know about our new βhome away from homeβ was also very knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. And, he and Bobby have done a fine job responding to questions weβve had since we brought the unit home. Canβt say enough good things about Hayes RV, Bobby, and Curtis. Also, weβve been camping now a couple of times in our new fifth wheel, and so far, not one issue with this unit! We spent three nights out on a βshake downβ trip to Tyler State Park, and everything worked as it was supposed to, no issues so far and keeping our fingers crossed that this is the way it will continue to be! I had been stalking the Jayco Bungalow for a year when I finally gave in and bought it. I have no experience with this industry and knew nothing about what I was doing. David (not David Hayes) has been with this company since he was 21 years old, coming straight from the Marines. Heβs spent his entire professional life with this family owned business. I honestly thought he was the owner due to the time and attention he invested. David has answered never-ending questions and even drove a good distance to check up on various matters that needed to be seen on my park model. When I asked why he was so devoted to his employer he simply explained the type of family with whom he works and the respect and loyalty theyβve shown him over the years. I fell in love with this company when I saw how wonderful they are through the eyes of their staff. It comes through in everything they do. Clean and tidy place, they let you check out their inventory without interfering and can go get someone for help when youβve decided. I didnβt try the full customer service, but its wayyyyyy better to be able to check out their rvs without interference

We bought a new camper at Hayes RV about a year and a half ago. The experience was very positive. But the service department is exceptional. We had some damage happen to the roof of our camper and the service department worked with our insurance company and got us all fixed up. We also bought a generator and the lady who helped us in the parts department was so knowledgeable and friendly. When it was time to load it on our truck employees from all the different departments came out to lend a hand to the employee who was loading it. My husband and I were so impressed with the customer service.

I especially appreciated the fact that the prices were posted in each unit so we knew what to expect to spend before speaking to a salesman. Last week, my wife and I purchased our first travel trailer from Hayes RV. It was a Jayco 26 trailer. Very fair price, when compared to the competition, and the experience was wonderful. Bobby, our salesman, patiently answered all our questions and explained options and brand differences in great detail. He was never pushy, even when we said we would have to go home and think about it. A class act.Steven, from the service department, gave us our walk through about how to hook up the trailer, set the anti-sway bars, and then went through each item and accessory on the trailer from securing the recliners to how to avoid condensation on the air conditioning vents. He provided wonderful tips on what to do and not to do about things that would not be found in any users guide. He went above and beyond because he knew we were RV beginners. Lastly, a shout out to Tara in finance, who made the paper work easy. Highly recommend this RV dealership.

I have been to this place many times and always thought the staff was upbeat and friendly. Salesmen always willing to answer questions or show you around. Parts men always helpful. Iβve dealt with Ronnie and he is straightforward and honest.But I was in there a few weeks back and wanted trade numbers, what a joke. I could never seem to catch the sales manger there. I was in when you opened and he wasnβt there. Came back to days later and he was off, then came next day a little later in the morning and he was out of the office.finally got him there and First off the sales manager Ray prezk is not someone I would recommend to deal with, not professional, acted like he didnβt want to be bothered and then when I was in his office, which stunk, he started spitting in the trash can chewing tobacco while talking business! Unbelievable.Finally got numbers and they were way under value.You have a nice set up there but lack the professionalism. I give it 3 stars because the ladies at the front desk are always nice and accommodating. I ended up going to another dealer.

Dillion is the worst sales person. He lied about financing not only to my fiancee but to her father was well. He talked himself out of a guaranteed sale. Dont waste your time talking to him.After I posted this review as a customer. Dillion took it upon himself to text and call my fiancee and myself after working hours, this includes sunday, with his personal cell. The reason we didnt answer the phones is simple didnt want to be lied to again. Once was enough. Unprofessional! As a salesman I would think you would know this, but again you couldnt even get out of your seat to shake anyones hand or greet them either. Very impolite! Simple manners for a man to introduce himself. Like I posted before you talked yourself out of a guaranteed deal and thank you for that. Went to RV Station in Tyler and got a much better deal. Thank you again and have fun thinking about the business you couldve had. I guess the customer isnt always right with Dillion.If you were complying with covid-19 regulations you were never wearing a mask or gloves at any moment and most definitely not 6 feet apart. Again lies. Yes I will enjoy my new RV. Thank you.

I have been to Hayes RV twice over the past year or so. Most recently with questions about replacing a leaky water heater. (In an older RV not purchased from them.) The parts guys are always helpful, quick, and professional. The prices are right, and the hands on, hold it before you buy it is better than ordering on-line. There other RV places closer to me, but I go farther to Hayes because I like their service and attitude.Also, I was not looking to buy a new RV any time soon, but it is always fun to look around at the newer models. The models are all left open, and I feel welcome to explore. The staff lets you wander at your own pace without pressure, but are always happy to answer questions. This open access is actually leading me to think about buying now that I have seen all the cool new features. When I do buy, it will probably be from Hayes.
Hayes RV has always been wonderful whenever we need repairs/maintenance. A few years back, we were about to leave on a trip to Pennsylvania and when we went to put the slide in to leave, it wouldnβt work. We exhausted everything we could try (new battery) and called Hayes. They talked us through manually closing the slide and we were able to take the travel trailer to Hayes to look it over. Even though it was late afternoon, they were able to squeeze us in for repairs and saved our vacation! We will be forever grateful to them for rescuing us - AND they threw in a Hayes RV wheel cover on the back as well! We love Hayes RV!

Lowest prices in all of east Texas including Dallas. From the time I walked in the front door, sign papers and did a walk through, I was out the door in an hour. Great staff and easy to deal with. Bought two campers in the past two years from Hayes.

Great selection of RVs prices are reasonable. Havent checked out the shop but parts staff are very knowledgable and helpful which would tell me that the shop would be the same way. Plenty of parts in stock and if its not in stock no problem they can have it in a day or two. I do all my own repair work and these guys have never given me a wrong part even with special order parts.

Hayes gave me great service for over 20 years! *And Ronnie in the service department* is very efficient and helpful with customers.Since southern RV dealerships are quite a distance from many of the factories, be absolutely certain that you inspect your NEW RV for any minor flaws in construction and detailed interiors before you pay, because not ALL warranty items can be fixed locally. ...and its a long way to get warranted work done if they cant FIX it INSIDE the dealership, ...because its a long expensive drive back to a factory like those in Indiana.Hayes has a big variety of RVs and its nice to have a reputable dealership close by. I would certainly use them again, but, as always, shop around and do your homework. Its great having a dealership close by, and buying an RV is a BIG investment. Hayes is convenient, close to home, and certainly worth YOUR consideration!

Took my travel trailer in for wheel bearing/axle issues. Despite being swamped, they made an appointment, diagnosed problem, had parts ordered & RV back to me the same day! As a full-time RVer who needed to get on with our trip, their timely service was much appreciated. Also, Mike took time to explain our hitch set-up so we could avoid problems in the future. Friendly & knowledgeable staff.
I just bought a used travel trailer from Dillon at Hayes rv,I was promised a few things would be taken care of by Dillon,none of them were taken care of until I started pointing them out when I was picking up the trailer.Ray the sales manager sent a kid out to fix a drawer,I told the kid just putting screws in it wouldnt fix it.he put 3 screws in it,its not fixed.2 technicians said the drawer was fixed.i wouldnt have any service done here.not happy with Hayesrv at all.To top it off the owners response to my review, Its my fault !!!!

1/31/2018 I answered to the response that the owner(?) wrote. Please read it and watch them close. They need a 0 in my book. The shop has NO pride in their workmanship. Got my RV back with beat up corners inside where they used a nail gun. Used nail gun to make the carpet lay down, really Ronnie?, now I have little crater in my carpet with nail head showing. Molding around my slide. on inside of RV, they removed was put back with staple gun, and did NOT even try to cover them. Foam rubber they replaced for slide to close on, is laying on the ground now. They put new play wood on top of old and charged insurance co for removing and replacing things they did NOT even do. I am in contact with my insurance to see what can be done.1/31/2018IF THE OWNER OF HAYS RV IS THE ONE THAT WROTE THE RESPONSE . PLEASE COME TO MT PLEASANT AND I WILL BE GLAD TO SHOW YOU. RONNIE HAS A WAY NOT TO REMEMBER THINGS. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY HE DONE ON NEARLY EVERY THING. I FOUND THAT YOUR SHOP HAD DONE ANOTHER POOR JOB, AND DID NOT PUT CAULKING ON THE OUT SIDE SEAMS. I PUT THE CAULKING ON MYSELF. YOU HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER ON FILE.
