We love Books A Million! Smells wonderful and its relaxing. The only issue we had was with the coffee shop. The lady in there, was rude and not interested in serving us. So...we chose not to get a thing. Other then that, its been great service . We have been shopping there for many years. Hope to for many more! Hopefully, we will get better service in the coffee shop because its really good! Thanks yall and God bless!

I hate to give a 1 star... but this place needs help. In the past I loved B.A.M. but my last visit was disappointing. Only one employee in the whole store and she was working the coffee ☕ shop. I needed help finding a book and she told me it would be easier to order it online. Really. The web site claims they had 10 in store. But she could not help me find it. Hire some employee, support your costumers needs. I hope you fix this.

My wifes favorite bookstore, she/we go at least once a month. Great selection of books, movies, games, toys etc. Friendly staff, espresso shop avalible within. Can get nice discounts with their membership program.

Every single time that I have ever come into this Longview store, I have always been super impressed with both the customer service and selection. The associates are always super nice and knowledgeable and the books are laid out in a nice, easy-to-understand way. They have a plethora of collectibles too! The store itself is kinda small, but this location is DEFINITELY worth a visit.

The experience was very wonderful the staff was very helpful and helping me find things that I needed a employee directed me and they were very respectful and I would recommend anybody who needs a book or two to head over to Books-A-Million and see what you can find

Books-a-million has reorganized inside quite a bit over the years, took a quick minute to find where the board/card games were. Warm and friendly staff inside, all were more than happy to help. Always a pleasure to visit!

I do wish that they would ease back on the toys. Its difficult, with young kids who arent big readers, to steer them away from all the trendy toys that are really quite pricey. Book selection is always fabulous and prices on those are always competitive.

They always seem to have what I want. Plus they had really nice and helpful people working there for a change.

This has always been my favorite place to kill some time since I was a kid. Found a couple decent vinyl records recently, as well!

Great facility, clean restrooms and I usually have no problems finding the books I need. The cafe is a plus because I can not get enough of the rich aroma of fresh coffee as I browse through books.

I love that Books a Million is around. Every town needs a good bookstore with a variety of educationalresources as well as books for pleasure.

There were multiple sections that were all over the place. No markings to help on where I was in the section. It was all a jumbled mess. The site wasnt better. Ended up finding everything I needed on thrift books

Some stuff can be over priced. There is always a long line.

Not enough registers open to accommodate customers, long wait in line. No one offered to help direct me in my search. Need to hire knowledgeable staff,and accommodate registers for customers.

I like the store and they have a huge selection of great books but it is nearly impossible to find an associate to assist you. I guess it could possibly be because of Covid but the assistance was not the best before then either. Outside of this it is a great store.

I let Briana/ID 152574 know I couldnt find the book. She was AMAZING.. Looked it up for me and went and picked it up out of the front display. Shes an Angel.. I even renewed my BAM card... I felt like family in your store.. Thank You Briana!

They REALLY need more employees behind registers and on the floor during the holiday season helping customers. Or revert back to the Dewey decimal system. 2 visible employees (one helping locate books and 1 ringing people up), and 15 people in line.

I had to walk back and forth 3 times, in order to finally get one of the 2 workers, to come assist me. The guy ended up walking back with me and showing me. But, he really wasnt eager about it. The girl was no help. Was rude. Refused to move an inch to help a customer, and finally told the guy, can you just go see what shes looking at and show her what it is that shes missing or cant seem to figure out, even though its all labeled for her. I looked at her, and voice I know let her know real quick she had one job. She failed in my opinion and experience and knowledge of working in customer service positions. No extra mile w/ her. Hurts sales.

This is one of my favorite places to just go. The atmosphere is quiet they have a nice coffee shop inside, the staff are very willing to help, but also do not ask to the point of being annoying. They are totally fine letting you meander and look around. They have a huge selection of everything you could dream of. Its amazing.

Wished I lived closer. Stopped by just passing through town and fell in love. Its better than a Barnes&Noble and has good coffee not Starbucks. I spend about $100 on books and wished I couldve bought their membership but I wouldnt have gotten any use out of it. Highly recommend if you live in the area!

Didnt have the book I was looking for

A bit pricey but worth it when you prefer to see/hold a book before purchasing it. I also love their gift sections as there is always something for everyone! A great way to get the kids more involved in reading. The store is always tidy and welcoming.

They have all sorts of books, audio books, magazines, toys, & lots of other stuff. The whole staff is helpful & friendly. If they dont have what youre looking for theyll try to get it for you. Or they will tell you where you can get it. I shop here & online for holidays, birthdays, & for all occasions.

Well to be honest with you, I dont go there. It just so happen that I was just driving threw there because I was heading to Bed, Bath & Beyond. But my Husband Loves Books-A-Million. But Im not him, so I will Rate them a 3. Thanks For Reading My Comments 😃

This is One of my daughters favorite places to go with her Best friend !! Ironically, it is actually where I had one of my Biggest & Best deep belly laughs in my whole life with one of my best friends, Cindy Gutierrez Blais!! I really miss her and spending time with her. We always laughed so hard when we were together.

Raymond is the best employee! Hes very very helpful and knowledgeable, especially on history books! Made my visit super easy, he even carried my purchases to my car for me.

Huge bookstore, complete with its own cafe. You can spend hours and hours browsing here. They also have a huge calendar/planner section and a massive selection of gadgets & gizmos. The workers are helpful. And now they sell gently used books alongside the brand new books (it’s good to have that option). They also have the Books-A-Million discount card that offers many benefits like free shipping along with 10% off purchases and other occasional coupons. They have ample parking. Location is conveniently along the W Loop 281. This one is right next to other shops. Always an enjoyable trip!

Barista was inept, with a bad attitude. Asked for manager, and his attitude was not much better.

Good selection and friendly staff

There were two highlights that helped justify 5 stars. The person who showed us to the right section, then the cashier at the time of pay explaining the discount system. The first person knew where we needed to be and explained our options, the second person helped me to change my mind toward a more relevant of the two options. I will come again.

We love going here to browse books. I found a great book to get my 12 yr old for Christmas. It was less than $3 and was a perfect choice for her. We had coffees and hot cocoas at Joe Mugs. Wonderful time.

People who work here were extremely rude. The book selection was terrible and disorganized. The sign on the door says please wear a mask aka asking instead of saying must wear a mask. I would order online from amazon instead of coming here because they for sure will have the book you are looking for plus you don’t have to deal with rude associates.

Great store could not help me with my need to buy book and have them ship it for me, said it had to be done online, which I normally do, but this time was not able, so I will probably buy online but from someone with free shipping.

As always, my shopping experience at Books-A-Million in Longview last night was everything I had hoped for. Shout out to Brianna who originally greeted me at the front and big thank yous to her for referring me to Raymond. Raymond is the bomb! He helped me find the perfect section to shop in and exactly what I was looking for in that section! It was right before closing but I was treated as if I was the first customer of the day! Big giant kudos to Raymond for helping me find the perfect gift for my dad!

Always make sure I send my brother correct books due to him being incarcerated... Love this place.
