I drove from Minden, LA to Longview, TX because the Best Buy in Shreveport didnt have any Pixel phones in stock. The ladies in the phone department were super helpful and friendly. It was a great experience. I was glad I was able to buy the phone in a store and didnt have to order it online. Great Best Buy!
I bought a laptop from here. I like how you can rack up points from making purchases. Also the geek squad is a nice bonus to have as well. You just come in and they will have it repaired.

Was going to be 5 stars because the guy who helped us was great, but we got a call saying the washer and dryer that was supposed to be in stock and delivered Monday will be delayed and we will be lucky to get it a month from purchase. Thats after they said it would be like 4 to 5 months out. We said ya thats not gonna work. They said ok well try to get it to you in a month... In the meantime we do not have a washer or dryer so we have to do the laundry of a family of 6 at a laundry matt at 3 dollars a load. Not shopping at best buy for any large items again thats for sure!

He let us look but was quick to respond to our questions. He was very helpful. We found what we wanted and made our purchase in about 40 minutes. Amazing. We love our Best Buy.

Went to best buy 3-27-21 looking to purchase a sound bar and two Roku premiere packs. Couldnt find help and when I did find two younger male associates talking I asked for help finding a sound bar. His reply was ya know there kinda all scattered around and there is a sound bar wall over there. Did offer any assistance nor recommendations. When I looked at the sound bar wall all I seen available were two which I was not impressed by. They would have made a decent sale if I would have received help. I will be spending my money else where.
Gave me incorrect information concerning a computer. Wait, it was a lie, an out and out lie.
Bought a gas stove online but when they installed it oven only contained one rack and one of the burners was working properly and we were smelling gas.....went to the best buy store they heard all this and the associate we got deserves a raise for the way he handled our situation he listened and made everything right
Checked in at opening. Got a message it was taking longer than expected. 45 minutes later, store manager finally came out to explain that although they received my check in, the system was now down. Not knocking them but, 5 minutes after it went down would have been a better notification. All in all though, we worked through it and I received my products.
It took a really long time to get help and to be able to pay!! There seemed to be a lot of employees, but only one actually Letting you pay!!!

Went to best buy to get a cord to use with my phone. A very knowledgeable young man helped me and I was in and out in a very few minutes
I am 76 and just bought my first i Phone. Having a hard time trying to figure different things out, I went up to Best Buy where I bought it and was waited on by a guy named Alex. He patiently answered all my questions and watched while I completed different tasks. He also gave me a lot of pointers. Before I left, he told me when he worked and said that if I had any other questions to come back and he would help me. I have and he has. There is one other employee in the store named Logan who was also very helpful when I bought my current laptop. I have found other Best Buy employees who have been very helpful, but none like these two. I am also a subscriber to Geek Squad service...best money Ive ever spent. Theyve been great when Ive had problems.
If youre looking for a job here, dont bother. I went through the application process and interviewed on a Thursday. They told me to call them Friday and let them know if I accepted the job. They knew their phone lines were all messed up and I couldnt reach them. So I went back up there on Saturday to confirm that I wanted the job. A week goes by and I hadnt heard anything back. I go back up there and check on the status of my background check/hire in process, and there response was, oh it takes a while for the background check. Here it is 2 weeks after that, and I receive a general email from best buy that is a rejection of the employment offer. So basically they lied to my face on several occasions and made me waste like a month of my life waiting on them when I couldve been looking for another job!
Its not open for inside shopping... But that is NOT an issue when you know what you want and can order it on the website.The associates that took care of my curbside pickup, including the manager of the store, were about as cool as Ive seen since the distancing.I highly recommend Best Buy and kudos to all the staff who remained patient and engaging, in spite of the fact that it was 7:45 am and 38 degrees!You guys Rock!

My family purchased a computer for Christmas and straight out of the box the power button did not work properly. Called to let them know Best Buy said no problem bring it in and we can exchange it. We do that only to be told that we would have to pay $300 more to exchange it, they would not honor their own sale price! We didn’t ask for Best Buy to put it on sale! Then, they said well we can see if we can fix it. Took it over to geek squad and they tried to fix it. We received a text from Geek Squad a few days later saying it was ready for pickup. Made yet another trip to Best Buy only to be told it was sent to HP to see if they can fix it or replace it!! Yes, we tried to call before heading up there to pick it up but no one would answer so we chatted with their online service and they said yes it was ready to be picked up! Still waiting to hear back they said it may take up to a month! Horrible service overall dealing with them! Lesson learned with Best Buy!

The store is clean and there was plenty of staff to help on a Tuesday afternoon. The building is a little rundown and could use a refurb. Dim lighting. The monitor we brought wasnt in stock but they are shipping it to us so no complaint on that.
Still requires mask even after the mandate has been lifted, and they are rude about it. Store associates used to he knowledgeable on electronics. Now they are just salesmen, help you find it but no input.
Staff Is super helpful and the store has been essential for me lately since I recently completed a custom PC build. No complaints during any one of the multiple times I’ve visited over the past couple of months.
Face mask police!!! 👮♀️Doesn’t allow persons with disabilities who are medically unable to wear a mask.The manager was very aggressive in nature as he demanded I leave(quite threatening). I walked out, took a picture of the giant sign on the front of the building and walked in to ask him if he was aware of Best Buy policy. He told me that Best Buy changed their policy months ago.Exact words on sign-Small children and those unable to ware a face covering for health reasons may enter without one.Very Embarrassing and Unacceptable in every manner!

Dont buy appliances from here. They dont stand behind their products. Paid 800 for a dishwasher. 3 weeks later the pump goes out. We get the run around about a new pump for 2 months. We bought the unit in October. Its January. Still no help no dishwasher. Im sick about it. And the manager was 0 help and rude.

I have always loved Best Buy and all the products they carry. Ive also always had great experiences when shopping there, whether in Tyler or Longview the two main stores I frequent, but I have shopped at Best Buys in other cities as well. I always recommend BB to all my friends because of the inventory & their employees professionalism!
Excellent Service deciding on a new piece of necessary equipment
There are some very friendly and helpful people here. But, back on October 5th I went to their geek squad desk to get a camera system and installation. The person said they cant do that help and I had to call the 800 number. While on the phone with them in the store I was looking around and a manager helped me do it right then and there. However, the field service tech called and told me it was going to cost another 3-400 dollars for more cables for the cameras. I then cancelled the order. But, the tech already picked up my camera system and it showed to be in transit. So they couldnt refund that. Well, Im currently on the phone with them for the 3rd time and went up there again today to attempt to try and get this taken care of. To no avail. Still have the 400 dollar charge on my account for a camera system that Ive never had possession of.
Store is not taking phone calls, and I am uncomfortable going inside the store right now. You can talk to a corporate sales person who is not local thus cannot offer feedback on local residents experiences with the equipment. Gave me an email address that is supposed to go directly to the store manager, got no response whatsoever. Will need to look elsewhere.

Online experience: If you wish to receive your double wall oven for a LONG TIME (1 month) with UNCLEAR INFORMATION if the product is available or not or if the product is ready for delivery and in route, CHOOSE BEST BUY. Oh yeah, and the installers also need lead time to be informed but in my experience, they were told the product is available. And on the delivery date, the installer team called because the product is not there!And if you wish to stay in the phone help center for several minutes (just in case you have that TIME), order appliances from BEST BUY.Do not expect the delivery date to be the exact delivery date especially if the product is just said to be available online. You wont get it in time.
I was trying to buy what I thought was a refurbished phone and after scanning several bar codes the worker says after 5 minutes, oh its coming up regular price, they just shipped it in a box that wasnt its original.

They were about to close so they really rushed me in my decision which I understand to a degree, but when your about to buy a $300 plus car audio system I feel they should have been less pressuring than they were. All in all I would say it was good though. If you need any car audio equipment they have a good selection.
Amazing staff helped me get a grate deal and even upgrade on sd car for a nintendo switch lite. Eager to help and answered all questions quickly and even gave more information that they thought i needed to know on the products.

Last time my wife and I were in Longview we were shop for several items and while speaking with one another the manager interrupted and said that we need to have our mask on fully, so we complied. He then followed us around. We hadn’t noticed at first but he was right there to tell us to put our mask on fully in several locations in the store. I have not been harassed like this in any store in my life. My wife was so annoyed by constant push from this guy that she suggested and I agreed. We then left the store and ordered what we were at the Best Buy for on line and not from Best Buy. We will never buy from them again.
Clean and they in force the mask mandate. Thank you for keeping us all safe while we shop. I will be a return customer!

I went with my brother for curbside pickup on a TV and they refused to help us even though he already paid for the TV and the money had come out of his account. We were told they couldn’t help us and we would have to call to figure it out. If I could give zero stars I would. PLANNING ON RETURNING THE TV AS SOON AS THEY LET US HAVE IT!!!

My wife was asked to wear a mask. She has medical issues that exempt her from having to do so by texas state law. She was still asked to leave. We walked out and the greeter told us not to come back. VERY unprofessional, and they better hope we decide not to sue. Texas law states that an accommodation can be had. But they didnt even offer that. That employee deserves to be fired.

Very unimpressed with customer service and how things have been handled and quality of products. We bought a tablet for my mom for Christmas and were unable to buy a case for it in store due to the store having none. We did buy the tempered glass screen to supposedly keep it from cracking and I put it on shortly after we bought the tablet. Very shortly after opening the tablet it was dropped from a short height and shattered the tablet screen under the tempered glass. Which could have been prevented if we had been able to purchase a protective case for the tablet.When purchasing the tablet we were not offered the protection plan and so when we brought the tablet back to Best Buy we were basically told they couldnt do anything because we did not buy the protection plan that we were not offered. They suggested going to Shattered ER but knowing we cant trust them from previous interactions we tried to get it fixed somewhere else, but likely because of how new the tablet is they were unable to buy the parts to have the tablet fixed. After going back to talk to geek squad we are able to get it fixed but probably with having to pay half what the brand new tablet cost and without being able to buy a protection plan for any future issues.
Bought a phone there. Customer service really only knows what they can read to you off the package. Im sure theres someone that works there work product knowledge, but I didnt interact with them.

Worst place to shop for electronics, sadly its one of Longviews only options. Service is terrible. After 4 visits, I finally just returned all the equipment I bought since it didnt have ANY of the features I told the person helping me I needed. Returning was also a wait in line. Ill drive to Tyler before I shop here again.

Our store in Longview is only taking appointments, but it was amazingly easy to schedule. My appointment took place on time. I was very nervous because it was my first computer purchase. Logan was delightful to work with and I made my purchase in less than half hour. And spent less than$400. God is good!! God bless Logan and the Best Buy staff! Great job during pandemic!
Absolutely zero customer service. I planned to make a significant purchase but left after 30 minutes when the group of associates couldnt be bothered to help me.
We drove over an hour to seek the help of someone with knowledge regarding a cell phone booster. What a waste. Plenty of employees but they were busy... talking to each other. Decided that while we were there we would order a new gas stove. Again, no one there to help. Got frustrated again and moved on to the televisions. Very nice young man there that was very friendly and helpful. Decided on a TV but it was not in stock so we decided to order it online from Best Buy. If it was not for the great employee in the TV department, we would have gone to a competitor for everything. However, would not recommend and certainly will not return.
Stood in the car audio section approximately 10 min trying to find what I need, no one offered to help. I found an associate and asked for help only for her to tell me its not her section. She said she would find someone to help me, I waited abt 10-15 more minutes then set off on a journey to find someone else to help me. Ran into the same associate I spoke to before and she asked if anyone helped me. I told her no one came by so she said she would go find someone for me. No one ever showed up so I left, wont go back again. Just pathetic
