Disgusting! I love cheese, the sharper the better. Haystack Mountain Gold Hill tasted like dirt, bleach and rotten vegetables combined. I have never been so disgusted in my life. I cant believe I paid almost $10 for such trash!

My mother and I visited their booth at the Boulder Farmers Market while she was in town visiting. We were quickly greeted. They were out of the cheese I had planned to buy, but offered samples and suggestions on other popular types and things I might enjoy. I bought their Camembert brie style goat cheese. Its now one of my new favorite cheeses!! Thanks for making such a lovely product! The sales people were extremely friendly and kind to us, even though we came at the very end of the farmers market and they were quite busy.

Ive only had the Haystack Cashmere double cream baby brie, and it is superb. Ive spent a lot of time in France, and this cheese is as good as any I got there. Im a real fan of double-cream cheeses. Bravo Haystack!

This Colorado dairy rivals any of the great European cheese houses. They produce a unique assortment of gourmet goat and cows milk cheeses. My favorites are Haystack Peak and Funkmeister. That said, any of their products would make the cut for an Anthony Bourdain cheese plate. If you are a cheese connoisseur or just someone who enjoys good cheese, give Haystack Mountain a try. You wont regret it.

I tried the Gold Hill and it is by far the best cheese out there!

I have been buying from this company for years but was really disappointed with their customer service. We had purchased the green chile and it was bad when we opened it and the expiration date was still not met so we notified the company to alert them and werent concerned about a refund. We were assured they would look into it and get back to us but instead had the retailer contact us. We also buy from Cheese Importers the retailer and they have always been great and professional. I highly recommend Cheese Importers as we have dealt with them for many years. It is just unprofessional to pass a production issue off to the retailer; who did contact us and offered a refund but that wasnt our concern. Haystack lost credibility with us as they obviously didnt keep their commitnent nor probably didnt even check with their production. Nevertheless professionalism and profitability should be every companys priority but they chose to pass me off to the retailer; whom are very reputable. We will continue to do business with Cheese Importers but will take advantage of the other goat cheese manufacturers who take their product issues and feedback seriously. We advised Cheese Imoorters a refund wasnt necessary as it is nominal compared to our intentions of providing valuable feedback.
