So I went to this liquor store at 10:45 this morning and spent $36.00 + and the guy at the counter asked me to grab a pen and sign my receipt and as usual I asked if that was really necessary because the other employees always say absolutely not. I am a senior citizen so I try to stay as contact free as possible. This employee did not seem to know it was not mandatory. He got angry and rude. I said can I have a bag please and he said no! If you sign the receipt you can have a bag! I spend over $36.00 2 or 3 times a week. I enjoyed shopping here until this experience. I will check back with this store some time in the future to see if your polices are more consistent. Thanks for the past. Rob

Love the selection! Came for Sour Monkey beer and was surprised to see Becherovka herbal liquor (I transported a bottle personally all the way from Czech Republic - getting it from here is way less a hassle haha!). Staff was helpful when I called in as well as when I got to the store. Pen was also sanitized instantly and a sign showing how not to wear a mask is appreciated during these times. Will be a new regular!

Tony the guy that is there everyday is probably the best liquor store owner (in Longmont) and has gone out of his way several times for me and his place has a huge selection for everyone. The employees that work there are friendly and very polite I strongly recommend.

When I first started shopping here I noticed they didn’t have my beer which is about damn time IPA. I asked the owner to look into for me. One week later I was buying my favorite beer here. That’s what I call customer appreciation haha! Keep up the good work!

The owner is the realest. Hes so friendly, and if you have a special request, hes on it for you. Solid, solid guy. Very reliable. They dont carry it normally, but ordered some Dom for an upcoming celebration. No problem. Said it would be Wednesday. He had it in exactly on Wednesday. I couldnt say enough about this spot.

Ive been a customer and a member in their point system for several years. Ill go here over Wyatts any day. They have anamazing assortment of craft beer and carry one of my favorites which is from Iceland. Everyone I have ever come in contact with who works there has become a friend. SUPPORT LOCAL!!!

9th Avenue Liquor and Wines is a fantastic, local liquor store! Ive met Tony and Sherwin, who are always super friendly and helpful. They have a fine selection of wines, liquors and beers and their prices are very competitive so check them out the next time youre thirsty!

The people that work here are awesome! Always super friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable for how small they are. Great place to get beer, liqour and random hidden gems. For all these reasons my husband and I frequent here.Its pretty obvious that the people that do complain have probably never worked retail/service industry jobs and havent a clue about what it takes to run a small business.I dont usually rate things, but this crew deserves a shout out:)

The babies complaining about a lack of good service obviously dont live in the neighborhood. These guys are awesome. They have given us gifts, hook us up with a reward program and even gave us advice on fixing our car. They know us by name. Great folks.

Not real busy easy and quick service.

I went in today should of kept month shut but i complained about price that i pay 5 to 10 dollars more there. The old man took my stuff and told me to go some where else I said really and just walked out nicely they lost about 30 to $40 sale from me

The staff & owner are amazingly friendly. They make sure to know each customers needs & welcome any new ones with the same enthusiasm.

This is a very good liquor store and they have a large selection to pick from very friendly staff and they will even order a specific item for you 😉😁

I have been patronizing this business for over a year. The service and selection have been fine until recently. On occassion, the manager will be at the second register and refuses to take the slack in the line that forms, instead making small talk with the clerk who is clearly busy checking customers. Lazy perhaps, but not a serious concern. What is a serious concern is the refusual of the clerk to honor the price listed on the shelf. When the posted price does not match that charged at the register, I expect an apology at least, and any reputable business will honor the advertised price. NOT at 9th Ave.I think the clerk is new but hes an adult with a job in customer service. He didnt even bother checking the posted price at the cooler and told me that We cant sell if for cheaper than we buy it! but the customer is expected to pay MORE than the listed price. Maybe they didnt change the price on the shelf yet, he suggests. With the little stickies used as price labels, it couldnt take any more time than changing the price in the POS system. In any case, this is lazy service/managment. I dont give them the benefit of the doubt as I checked a previous receipt and they have been gouging me on the price since the New Year. I shouldnt have to ask to speak to management or write a letter to get a business to honor advertised prices. If you have a choice, I suggest you support another establishment that does not have dubious business practices and has some semblance of customer service. I have.
