By far, the most amazing store in all of Long Beach for unique, fun and beautiful imports from around the world. The majority of items are of Indian, Eastern origin and range from simple incense to hand - carved furniture. Their candles are made in the store and I wont buy them anywhere else. Friendly and very customer service based. Just go - you will find something there!

Iguana is a throwback to a pre-corporate time when stores were curated and staffed by owners who knew and cared about the merchandise they sold. Iguana has been the cornerstone of my Holiday shopping since the 90s when I lived in the same neighborhood. My kids have gone from adolescence to adulthood finding meaningful gifts and perspectives, along with the most friendly and helpful atmosphere. If youre tempted by World Market, try Iguana. Your soul will thank you.

We are obsessed. This place is like Cost Plus World Market, but better. The furnishings, gifts, and jewelry are from all over the world – India, Mexico, and Nepal, to name a few – and everything is incredibly reasonably priced. Jorge, who co-owns the shop, is from Mazatlan and the shop has been in operation for 22 years. As he says, “Long Beach is wonderful. It’s extremely diverse and walkable, and close to Los Angeles AND Orange County.”

This store is loaded with plenty of things for the home, office or gifts. From incense & candles to furniture and beautiful art of all types, there is plenty to choose from. If you cant find what youre looking for, there is plenty of friendly help. They will also gift wrap if you like.

I love Iguana not only for the beautiful textures and diverse items for gifts and the home, but also the owners Tom and Jorge are so wonderful!! They have done custom candle orders for me for years; their candles are made by Robert and are exclusive to Iguana and they are the BEST-smelling, longest-lasting, vibrant-hued, dripless candles I have ever bought in my life, and Im a candle-fanatic, so I know my candles!! They have even custom-made huge amounts of custom colors -like teal and sage ;)!! - of the candles for me for bridal showers and holidays and they let me custom choose my scent that I wanted for them! And the candles are SO reasonable, I would never go anywhere else. Then while I am there buying my huge quantity of pillar candles, I always find something unique and lovely that I cannot resist for a gift or for myself ;).

Love Their Uniqueness and Their Amazing Customer Service.

Been a customer of iquana import for over 5 years, for the most part they were friendly enough. Used to love the scented candles they sell and was always my to go shop for incense. But after todays experience I will never step foot into that store again. The wife and I were waiting to eat at the Attic across the street and wandered into the shop to just browse around, not once were we greeted by the two individuals that were working there. Even though they politely greeted the couple that came in after us. Then ine of the male employees started to follow my wife and I into every section of the store (pretending to dust) thinking we were trying to steal something. So yes go here if you want to be treated like a criminal. Also just a heads up they sell empty used cigar boxes for around 10 bucks but you can buy almost the exact ones at total wine and more for $1.75
