I took 2 trailers in there to have work doneI was charged for work that wasnt doneI found things broken that wasnt broken when they came inIt took me 3 months to get him to fix the trailer good enough that it can be movedSo I can take it to someone elseIt took me 10 months just to get my trailers out of thereHe cant even keep a mechanic there because he uses shade tree mechanics

Great place to take your vehicle. Friendly staff, and prompt service for a mechanic shop. Ive been twice so far; first time for rim repair, second was a service call. Both were welcomed and pleasant experience. I will return if needed, i also would recommend to anyone.Thanks Guys for the Respect.

Terrible experience. Lance worked on my truck, sorta, for 4 hours and quit. charged 600 bucks and didnt fix it. STAY AWAY.I saw his response. much of it made up. just look at what he said he did and its clear its not $600 worth of labor. I removed the alternator myself cause he had to go somewhere. I said I felt conned because he charged so much and said that he didnt want to continue the job. my box van, which everyone calls a truck, started because, the air temp warmed from the 30s to the 60s. I took it to another shop.he replaced the glow plug relay in 1 hr for $220. so Lances diagnosis was not even correct. I still think I deserve a refund.

We received great and quick service from the staff at Southern. When in need and our delivery vehicle went down. They were quick to respond, diagnosed quickly and returned with the sensor needed to get us up and going. Can not thank these guys enough.

Rip off. Took my trailer to him because a bearing had gone bad. He slow poked all day and didnt have any of the parts. He ran back and forward to a store claiming he couldnt find them. Had me there 8 hrs for a job at the max shouldve taken 3 hrs. Then worst of all. Charges me for 5 hr and tries to get me to pay for a tool that he was gonna keep. He does a good job but ripping people off and not being fair negates the good work.

Truck started giving us problems in the gulfport ms area, googled truck repair shop serval shops came up spoke with rep over the phone real convincing conversation we elected to go to southern truck and trailer of Long Beach Mississippi, Big mistake little did we know the guy on the phone was Lance the owner one of the smoothest talkers I’ve ever met, truck was surging and shooting black smoke out of the stack, they diagnosed the truck change the fuel filter 534.82 They made no physical repairs change no parts diagnose only was in the shop 2 hours I did not see the warning signs, but Second thought I did see the warning signs, I should’ve cut my losses of $534.82 when the truck started giving us problems on the test drive, Little did we know it was all by design lance is a really good con artist, return back to the shop they diagnosed the truck again now they’re telling us we need EGR valve the first time they put the computer on the truck it gave that code, they knew we were not going far on the test drive because the same problems that presisted to make us come to the shop was still there, they had us under their command, this is when they really took advantage of us they removed EGR valve they said they must remove turbo to do the job properly cleaned rust off lines Soot and carbon out of lines, this company create work to increase the final ticket cost, they knew when they made the first diagnosis they seen our problem but they played us out of $532 knowing we were not going far, they prolonged repairs we made it to the shop Tuesday morning 10am did not leave until Thursday at 7:00 PM Final ticket after three days $2909.98 do not include the $534.82 they play us out of on The originals diagnosis, I would not recommend this shop to anyone Lance is a smooth talker real crafty, con artist he know his job and he knows how to put you in a position where he will eventually stick you up it’s a con from beginning to end and he is one of the best I’ve ever seen, he is not going to like this posting and of course he is going to respond to defend himself if you don’t believe me go experience it for yourself and you will leave with a similar results, Watch how smooth this guy is with his response he is really good,I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS SHOP
