I found Our Essence looking for black owned beauty suppliers. It was my first visit and it was such a good experience. The sales representative a young lady named Nalo was so amazing. She gave the best customer service I ever had. She was so patient and helpful. The products were amazing as well. I could not believe I found a beautiful Brazilian human hair wig for under $30.00, for $29.99! Yes, I will be back as a regular customer. In fact, Im going back next weekend. BROWN, BLACK PEOPLE SUPPORT YOUR OWN BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES AND STOP GOING TOOTHER BUSINESSES OWNED BY NON-BLACKS WHO DO NOT GIVE US RESPECT, DONT LIKE US, TREAT US LIKE CRIMINALS AND DO NOT NOT KNOW ABOUT OUR HAIR, WHO JUST WANT OUR MONEY TO AFFORD THEIR LIVING. IN FACT. THEY DO NOT EVEN HIRE OUR PEOPLE IN THEIR STORES. LETS KEEP OUR MONEY IN OUR COMMUNITY.

I had a wonderful experience at Our Essence Beauty Supply. Black owners and staff we super helpful! side note I came from Orange County. the majority of the customers seemed like long time customers and were treated like family. Which I loved! Not only do they have the products that we are familiar with They also have hair products created for us by us by local beautician.

Went in today trying to support. As Im looking around I over hear one of the girls say she not buying nothing while giggling (Im the only one here shopping). I shook this off cause I really wanted to purchase the $100 pack of hair. I turn around then back around and they are key-keying acting very immature and childish Nonetheless, I thanked them and I left. As I was leaving I heard I told you. Grow up, this isn’t high school. To the boss, train your staff better. Not a good look to make your prospects/ customers feel uncomfortable.

Awesome black-owned beauty supply store! Just what was needed in the Long Beach area. My one stop shop for raw shea butter and black soap. They have all the best products and the owner and staff are fabulous! New products are constantly coming in. Im so glad I dont have to drive all the way to L.A. anymore. Ill do all my beauty shopping here. Shout out to Nisha!
