Lines are typically out the door for this reason.The online ordering experience, however, is not even one-star worthy.First, there is no option to place your order over the phone. Voicemail directs you to their website to order online only. Patrons should be aware that website prices differ from in-store prices.I ordered four wraps online, paid in full. Each were $13 99. Upon arrival at the store, it was discovered that each wrap cost $9.95 in-store. This markup should be disclosed either on the website or on the voicemail.Upon entering the store I went directly to their designated pick-up line where I was ignored.... (until I caught someones eye.) Plenty of staff around, eager to help customers who are placing orders in-store. I probably would have been served sooner had I waited in that line, but that defeats the whole purpose of online ordering, doesnt it.Next, both the chicken salad wrap and the tuna salad wrap I ordered did not include lettuce or tomato, as advertised on the menu. Disappointing. Get it right.Will not to return.

The food and selection is great, but they consistently forget to include items in my deliveries. Just received my FOURTH order in a row with a missing item. Unfortunately, I wont be ordering from this location anymore - going to see if the Oceanside location performs better.

How my order took 35 minutes to prepare when I ordered for pickup so much for saving time and avoiding standing on line in a crowded store.the bagels are good. hopefully Ill make the ferry.

Expensive and not worth the money. Several better alternatives in Long Beach. I live within close walking distance but refuse to give this place my business because of the cost and lousy service. Good food, better costs, and better service at Max Bialystock on E. Park Ave just past Long Beach Blvd.

Food is good, service is good, but as someone who does uber eats and Door dash this place is a nightmare on the weekends. As a service that is suppose to be a pick up and go, for the love of God its always a 20 minute wait on the weekends. It discourages drives from wanting to take orders because our time is locked up from it. Please have a dedicated team to take care of these sort of arrangements for these drivers... Jesus....

This spot has been around along as Ive grown up in long beach and the quality of the food has only gone up. If you want breakfast, Bagel anything I cant recommend this spot enough. Literally the best BaconEggCheese sandwich spot on Long Beach

Always fresh and always excellent bagels. I go on Wacky Wednesdays when you can buy 9 bagels / get 3 free (or) 12 bagels / get 6 free. And if you freeze the bagels when theyre fresh they stay fresh (always better to slice them before you freeze them though). They also have buy 2 soups / get 1 free. They social distance on the line and they use plastic separators between cashier and customer.

This was the first time for us here, we were just driving then saw this places and we craved for bagels so went in. There are a lot of different foods, cold and warm too, many HUGE muffins, cookies, and a lot of bagels. There are also sandwiches any many egg options. We had a plain bagel w/ 2 eggs and a poppyseed bagel w/ 2 eggs to, then a huge chocolate muffin and a coffee. The bagels w/ eggs cost $3/each, the muffin I think 2.45. Everything is big there and the bagels are SO good and fresh! The muffin was also good, could have been moister. Prices are very good and everything we tasted was delicious.

Every time I go in, the line is unreal.. Today it was wrapped around the inside of the store. I walked out. Never going back. If they can’t get it together, I’ll get different bagels. I wasn’t waiting a hour for some bagels.. If your staff is too incompetent to find out what bagels someone wants and get them out of the store, time for new staff or pay them betyer OR GET MORE!

It seemed Busy but not BUSY vibe. I pre ordered a bagel online. 3 customers were already in the shop . I had to get someone to look up just to pick up my food in the pick up line. Bagel was good.

I honestly cannot give a sufficient review as I barely stepped foot into this establishment so that’s why I’m going middle of the road with my star rating. My wife and I opened the door to see a bunch of people lined up right to the entry and we did not want to wait on a long line so we just bailed. We actually spent some time shopping at the sweet bike shop right next door to kill some time and see if the line would die down but when we returned it was the same way - right to the entry. To me, that would mean that’s these people are making some good stuff since they constantly have the line forming, but the speed of service may be lacking with the line being there for a prolonged period. Mind you, we did not visit when I would consider it to be a busy time. It was on a Sunday in the early afternoon so I can only imagine what it’s like in the morning during the week! We’ll try to return and see what the final product it like but I’m sure it’s yummy because there was no lack of shoppers!

3rd time I was shorted with my bagel order on wacky wed. When I pointed it out they made a big deal of it -poured out the bagels on the counter to count them. Just plain Rude.

Three hairs in my bagel and completely wrong coffee order. Manager kept sending girl on phone to speak with me and when he came on the phone he had the most disgusting attitude for no reason. Tells me to contact delivery or pick up a bagel with NO sorry for uncleanliness and his staff shedding hairs in my bagel. Learn professionalism.

Tipped the guy for cutting bagels, Asked for paper plates-didnt have them, got in car and he gave me egg everything and then i looked at receipt and he charged me for cutting the bagels.Lost my business for ever. Experienced sucked. Personality was a zero.

Very good sandwich, something felt like it was missing but I cant quite place it, other than that it tastes very good. The bagel was soft and chewy, the bottom slightly crispy.Coffee is very good, not watery like some places.It gets busy but the line moved relatively quick. I usually call ahead no matter where I go, but I didnt call ahead this time. Ill do it next time because I hate waiting especially if I got to get to work.Edit 5/18/19: dropped a star because you cant call ahead. The convenience of just grabbing my order and taking off to work is very important to me.

Went in for the advertised gluten-free option and was told there were bags of frozen GF bagels in the freezer. I asked if they could toast one up if I bought the bag and was told no-deal. So, if you’re looking for the gluten-free option, you have to GF yourself.

New and Improved! Incredible renovation! My favorite bagel place in the area. Always a bit of a line, but it moves fast and is well worth it. Im here 1-2 times a week for breakfast or lunch. Whole wheat everything flagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese, or sausage and eggs, or Thai chicken salad, or the roast beef Wrangler (get your bagel garlic bread style!) Cant go wrong!

I am extremely angry. I am currently across the street from Bagel Cafe waiting for my husband to get a test done. I have 3 hungry children in the car (8,6&5) with a newborn. I told the owner I want to make an order for pick up. He said 1 hour and 10 to 15 minutes if I come in the store. Did you hear me? I have three children. I will come over in 15 minutes to pick up the food. He insist that I must come inside with the children for faster service. I will NEVER step foot in that store and if you have children, I would not step foot in there either. From one big family to another, I am sure you understand the struggle of taking multiple children out. I am highly upset and I will give some else my business:

The bagels are great and the cream cheese and chicken salad varieties are all delicious, but I do have a gripe with their bagel deal. On Wednesdays, you get 6 free bagels when your purchase a dozen. According to the giant sign on the wall, this deal is not valid on holidays. Today, I went there, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and the sign was covered up as shown in the attached photo. When I asked the person working there about the deal, I was told that today is a pre-holiday. Im sorry, the sign doesnt say anything about the deal not being valid on pre-holidays. The sign covering it said that they werent accepting coupons for due to high volume. There was noticeably less people on line today, maybe 5, compared to a line that usually stretches to the door (or even out the door in the summer). On top of that, you dont even get the free 13th bagel that you do on the other days when there is no promotion. What a rip off. The community supports your business, dont nickle and dime us...

I was passing long round bagel and needed coffee. So I stopped and went inside. Take note that I hurt my leg really bad and was in crutches and in a immobilizer. Unfortunately I forgot my mask. I signal to the girl behind the counter if she had one but she said no sir you cant be in here without a mask and made me have to walk all the way back to the car. When I got to the car and reached for the mask, A young gentleman came up to me and said what can I get for you sir?I was shocked and pleasantly pleased that this clean cut young man recognized the problem and addressed it. I gave him my order and he said wait here Ill be back. He came back within minutes with my 2 coffees and handed them to me. I asked him what do I owe you?He looked at me And said these are on me sir.... Well I tell you in this world today, and the way people are brought up, I was overwhelmed with gratitude and shocked at the same time.... Other than thank you so much I appreciate it I was really speechless. As he walked away I thought to myself ....why cant everybody treat everyone with this type of respect and compassion.If this young man was my son I tell you that was a very proud moment.I will patronize this store every time Im in the area. Staff is always great, After the revamp I am glad they kept some of the original staff. food is always great. they do a good job at Social distancing and keeping things moving. Somehow got my most simple order wrong 2 days in a row and then witnessed a few of the staff be extremely rude to a customer over something so minor unacceptable you people are charging outrageous prices for you’re food and you can’t even get an order correct and on top of that you treat the customers you don’t like or don’t look the part like they are below you not to burst you’re bubble or talk down but you are also working at a bagel store get off you’re high horse

Long beach is an absolute go to, whether its on your way to beach or just hungry for a quick bite! Bagel cafe has everything you need! From sandwiches to salads of all shapes and sizes to even little snacks like fresh fruit! Highly recommend the big bird or the classic BLT! You wont regret it!

They really need to sort out how they are handling orders during pandemic. They are just prioritizing Uber orders. Refused to take a pick up order over phone. Told me to just come in there’s no line. I walk in 3 minutes later and there’s a line out the door. Very poor customer service.

Very surprised that a big bagel shop like this doesn’t have any gluten free options for a sandwich! They want you to buy an entire loaf of bread. The girl who took my order didn’t write it down and I ended up getting tomatoes and cucumbers on my wrap instead of the pickles I asked for. This isn’t the first time they’ve disappointed me, but it will probably be the last!

I dont know if its because the musics too loud and the counter girl couldnt hear me, or because she didnt bother to write it down, but needless to say that the order was wrong twice! I had already waited a very long time just to get to the counter (15 minutes).There were only 2 people working and a very long line. Plus every table was dirty.

Bagels were okay. Not much flavor to them compared to other places. Sandwiches and wraps are good and they come with your choice of side salads. The service however can be lacking depending what time of day you go. Whenever i have gone in the late afternoon the employees have an attitude and make it seem like they dont want to be there. Aside from the customer service being so so the food is good.

Prices are very high and change daily. The food is good when they get the order Right which is not often. They either forget to toast the bagel, forget to put the meat on, make the eggs wrong, put marinara sauce instead of ketchup or put ketchup on the eggs when they were asked to be plain. One day instead of bacon egg and cheese they made cream cheese with bacon. For the expensive price they charge they should get the basic order right!!! They are consistently messing it up.

The place has been recently redone. Since then the lines which were always long seem to have gotten longer and traffic getting in and out of the parking lot has become more difficult. I now pass it by as often as not. Shane because the food is very good

The other bagel shop didnt have a parking lot. This store was much more convenient. The line of customers that Saturday was long but the staff works hard to make it move quickly. Tuna with egg white bits & spinach was fresh and very good. Bagel was fresh. Good crust on the outside and soft on the inside.

What can I say its a bagel shop. They do have way more than just bagels. The lines are long but eventually it winds down to the register before you pass out. Nice indoor & outdoor seating.

Grew up fortunate enough to be near this bagel cafe. Have yet to find a better bagel anywhere in the country.

I come here all the time. The selection of food is awesome. There is something for everyone and for every diet. Their bagels are the best and their catering is fantastic! They catered my sons christening and did a fantastic job with the food and display!

I asked for an egg bagel toasted with cream cheese. Seems simple enough, well I thought wrong. The lady taking my order got the order wrong twice while I was waiting. When I finally went home I noticed she had given me an everything bagel toasted with butter. She got the toasted part right, so that’s good I guess. But literally everything else was wrong about my order, she took over 10 minutes and got my order wrong twice before I finally left. How do you get an order wrong 3 times. She could’ve gotten the order correct on accident if she kept messing up over and over.

My go to for bagels for over a decade!! Had major withdrawals while they were closed for renovations but they reopened today & OMG what an insane transformation...it is gorgeous!! From bagels to catered deliciousness I am never disappointed

Great food. Great service. Bagels are great too. I come from Rockaway Beach for medical Dr. And cant wait to get my bagel and coffee I also get the larger soups to go they are delicious. Had lentil soup for dinner tonight.

Amazing bagels. They always have a line but don’t let that fool you. They move people very quickly with a friendly smile and are always willing to take the time to answer questions. Whether your stopping here to pick up some fruit for the beach or a hangover breakfast they have what you need. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit down and eat. Off street parking with a large lot.

Bagels suck, & they take FOREVER.

My friends and I got bagels before the beach. We wanted a nice big bagel with meat on it. So we ordered what we wanted and were very upset by the sight of mini bagels with meat pouring out of it. We were not warned of this. I think they also Charged us for the price of normal bagels. Not happy. Next time getting pizza

The hands down best bagels in town, a huge number of choices for breakfast and lunch, plus indoor and a bit of outdoor seating keep the lines long. The staff is pretty good, not flawless, but quite good for a super busy bagel shop & deli. Go uncomfortably early to beat the lines during beach season.

Great on premise made bagels with good range of fillings. Staff are generally always happy and friendly. Struggled to find a criticism but wish they would wipe down the inside tables a little more frequently. But its really not that bad. Summer crowds can mean an horrific looking line but staff get through it quick enough.

They won’t do open face tuna melt to go. Maybe should get a better takeout box
