It has been quite awhile since coming to this store. Wow, how things have changed. This place is immaculate and they’ve moved things around. I love it.Parking is never a problem and staff is very friendly and helpful.You can go to their website while in store and receive a discount coupon code. My favorite place where I can put my creative thoughts onto a canvas. They always have a good sale and you never pay full price. The rewards cash is plus!!! I bought a clearance item and turned into a beach resin painting.

Easy to find and lots of parking located inside Long Beach Towne Center. The staff are always very kind and helpful at this location. Almost always stocked completely with good flow to the store.Remember to use your coupons!

It was a great experience. I like that there are coupons you can use straight from your cellphone. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices for art supplies without having to drive to the next city to an art store for supplies.

Lots of great crafting supplies and seasonal decor items here.It feels a tad bit smaller than other Michaels I’ve been to but they carry the same stuff.Spray paint shelf was pretty bare but I found the color I wanted. I pressed the button for help but it was faster to flag down a staff to help you than wait around not knowing if someone is on their way or not.The lines can get pretty long but they open a lot of their registers.

Love going to shop for supplies and love it when they have good sales… crafting can be expensive. I recently bought a machine and when I opened the box it had a used item and a different color. Also they no longer accept competitor coupons. :(

They have all of the arts and crafts supplies you need for seemingly any project. Organized and clean store. In my experience the staff is helpful and friendly. Just walk in the door, look around and get inspired! Highly recommend 👍

Michaels is always reliable enough and beats the tar out of giving $$ to hobby lobby. Make sure you pull up the coupons in your phone browser before checkout (dont even bother with their app, unless youre a fan of terrible apps, in which case, go nuts but then examine your conscience)!

I know its tough through this pandemic with many harsh customers I have observed. Your staff remains professional and courteous. Love this store!

This was my first visit to this location and it will be a memorable one. First of all, I was impressed at the cleanliness of the store, not that their other locations arent clean, this one has spacious aisles which allows easy passing of those browsing. I found the grosgrain ribbon I wanted for my project and decided to browse when I realized someone was speaking to me, another customer was asking for my opinion on matching a ribbon to a t-shirt design she had and it turns out I have that picture from the shirt in a locket I was wearing, as well as the picture mounted and framed in my home from the artist Tim Okamura. It was an uncanny meeting for sure and it happened in Michaels. Great customer service, too.

Hope you dont plan on actually framing any items you got framed at Michaels. I just spent a fortune on 4 custom frames. Got them home and cant hang them! The store is now delivering framed items with an annoying built-in plastic Level instead of a traditional wire. You first have to figure it out, then finish installing it. - - As incomprehensible as it is useless. This is a good example of taking something simple and functional and wrecking it for no reason. FAIL!

Great place for crafts. Parking space wont be a problem on regular days. Its located inside the LBTC.

Went in for a Dremel tool kit because the price online was decently priced at $11. Sasha, the obvious babe in charge, greeted me and pointed me in the right direction. (Well, kind of. She didnt give me the directions to date night, super lame but hey, I still feel like a winner just for staring at her pretty face for 60 seconds.) Noticed the price was double from what the online ad was saying so I went to go find pretty face and asked her if I was mistaken. She oh so sweetly whispered in my ear I that I wasnt. Just kidding, I wish! That was a day dream..like in Dumb and Dumber when Loyd fights the kitchen chef, yall know what Im talking about. She professionally honored the online price and sent me on my way.. only to long for more future Dremel purchases from such a lovely, clean and friendly staffed store. Thank you Sashaaa. Now if youll excuse me, I have some more day dreaming to do..

Clean... so many activities to choose from

Super busy for a Saturday night, but I popped in anyway for a couple of new pencil cases for my makeup project I have been working on. The whole store inspired me to draw, sew, paint, and organize my stuff in a million new ways. I did have to wait in line to check out, but the impulse chotzky items displayed kept me occupied while I waited for my turn. The cashier was friendly and bantered with me a little bit. She offered to scan a coupon for me so I could save an extra 20 percent, but it was already scanned and invalid. It was a generous gesture and I appreciated the kindness though the discount was not applied. I love going to Michaels because it reminds me of my mom and it sparks new creative brain synapses that I sometimes neglect because of my analytic bent. Plus this shopping plaza as a whole is pretty flipping awesome. Way to go, Michaels of Long Beach.

This Michaels always seems more organized and making it easy to find what youre looking for. I bought an arrangement of flowers for fall that are gorgeous and was able to use a 20% off coupon found on the Michaels app. I also ordered a frame to replace a cheaply constructed frame I was using. Alejandra was very helpful and made sure I was satisfied with what I ordered. She made sure I was ok with the price and worked with me on getting the best price possible. She was very helpful to another customer that was struggling with her gift cards while I waited for the register. All went well for all of us. I cant wait to come back and get my finished framed picture in about 2 weeks.

If you order online your asking for nothing but headaches! I ordered an Xmas tree on Oct. 14th 2020. My account was debited on the 15th, and I received an email that the tree had shipped. Oct. 21st 2020 Tree has not shipped and after 4 phone calls to Michaels and 2 case numbers I still dont know where my tree is! I dont have my money, and I dont have my tree!

They are so helpful when you ask for certain things you couldnt find on your own.

This store seems to be bigger and better than most to which I have been. They have a good collection for all DIY stuff. Painting, drawing, crotchet work, photo frame, etc. People there are great, always very helpful. Love it. I go to Michaels a lot.

Love it but every time I ask for anything it we dont carry that. Yet they will stock up on thousands of other kinds of paper. The paper section needs glow paper. Thats all I want.

After searching online for red fabric, which no one seems to have in store, I ran across Michaels. They had an assorted set of fabric pieces about 1/2 of yard of each for a pretty decent price. I only needed red, but I figured I could use the others at some point. So I pay online and wait for the text to come pick up in store. What seemed like all day (about 5 hours later) I get the notification. It wasnt that far of a drive, 10 mi, but because a car over turned on the fwy (I pray everyone was ok) my trip took way longer than it should have. I get there about 30 to 40 min before they close, and since its my first time at this store, Im a little lost on where to go, but I find my way. After getting someone to assist me, she pulls out this very sad looking roll of sea foam green. But that was it! I thought I was going nuts. I checked my order and went back to their website to see if maybe I read the description wrong. Nope. The manager was called over and he apologized. I followed him over to where the fabrics were, just to be let down again. Barely anything was there. I do understand. But if that was the case, why not just tell me that the item the wasnt in stock. Instead of having me waste my time and gas to pick up an order that wasnt even there. At least I got my money refunded. On a brighter note, their store was clean and organized and they did have on masks and followed the social distancing rules.

Bathrooms are not available at all. I understand the pandemic is taking a toll but they have to allow people to use the restrooms.

I went to michael’s with my dad at 11/20/20 at 7:30 and this woman with orange blondish hair in a bun and a blue shirt kept following me and my dad around the store. She even followed me down an isle alone. It got so bad to the point where I asked my friend to call me so I wouldn’t get scared walking alone in the store. Worst experience ever, would never come here again!!

Had a shadow box advertised for a price listed on their shelf. When I tried to check out and purchase the shadow boxes, the box rang up a different price. I asked them if they could check the price they said it was accurate. I went to go check the shelf where I had picked up the boxes and an employee advised me that the original price tag had just fell off. Stephanie the manager told me in a very condescending tone that I should have looked at the sizes on the tag before I assumed the price! The sizes printed on the tag were so small they could be barely seen. I went back to ask the lady at the check out stand to see if they could honor the price that I found as advertised and she said I would have to speak to the manager for that. I asked her to get the manager and she said the manager was helping another customer. I waited about ten minutes went back the same location to look for the manager but she was no where to be found! Unacceptable customer service and treatment of customers!Contacting corporate office next!

Michaels has tons of cool stuff for Halloween and for fall. And then there are all the neat things for arts and crafts, home decor, and for special projects. This place has so much to offer, and it is so much fun just to walk around and explore!

Online sales are awesome right now and its free store pickup. .so skip the lines and find the best deals online. Pick up is in the back area of the store so its quick and easy. Definitely shopping this way from now on at Michaels.

I love this store! They have best customer service and is generally very well stocked. This store is always very clean including the bathrooms. Plus there are changing tables for little ones in both gender bathrooms. The checkout line maybe long at times but the cashiers keep the line moving! This is the ONLY Michaels store I will shop at!

Quick service on my online order once I learned where the pick up desk was. A sign directing those picking up online orders to framing department at back of store would be helpful, however.

I went to have some canvases stretched. Service was great and they did a wonderful job.

It’s a Michael’s, so it was loud and busy and took a minute or two to makes sense of where everything might be. That being said, it’s a big place and they have quite a bit of everything. a lot of it will be on sale or there’s a coupon available on their website.

Love this location. It is much better than both the Downey and Lakewood locations. They carry much more in what you just seem to need. The people are a little nicer and are not only more knowledgeable about many things, they’re more apt to find either someone or some way to help you. Customer service is pretty good.

Too many crafty things to buy

Purchased item in the morning online for Same Day Delivery. Didnt happen. Tried to inquire online via Michaels online Chat, nothing. Tried calling the store where I was supposed to pick up the item, nothing. Bottom line is, they DONT offer Same Day Curbside Pick Up service as claimed. Still waiting for my items!!!

Locating a Michaels can be challenging, but this is a good location with plenty of parking. The staff are very personable and helpful. The prices can be pretty high, so it is advisable that you come with your coupons in hand and to be a frequent buyer member.

Great place for getting craft supplies. But if your items u need are on sale and you need them now i might be hard to get exactly what u want. Online is better option.
