She, however, really gave me some great tips on why I wasn’t getting things working properly, and how-tos, so they are very knowledgeable, ask them anything!I live close to here, so I have come here a lot, it is a well stocked spot, u can come here for all ur art supply needs, from hobby to professional.They also have local art on their walls. I never bought or sold anything, but looks fresh and cozy, and hey, support local artists, local business, always a great thing 👌All in all, a great spot to drop by, I just bought a bunch of acrylic markers and sculpey 😜🙏

Absolutely fantastic! Great variety of art supplies but more importantly an amazing knowledgeable staff! I went in looking for a solution for one of my pieces and the gentleman there listened to what I wanted, looked at a picture of my piece, got clarification of my need and came up with a creative solution I never would have thought of! And it worked!!!!

I love Lyon Art Supply! They have a fabulous range of art supplies for so many different mediums (painting to screen printing) and tools at various price points. I never felt like I couldnt afford to be an artist walking into Lyon. Plus, the staff are supper friendly and helpful - and Ive never felt pressured or watched like at some other art suppliers. And they offer a student discount. Looking forward to my next trip to Lyon.

Ive never been to a more poorly stocked art supply store. They never have half of what I need. The slots where the things Im looking for should be are always empty. What art store doesnt have a good supply of Microns? Save yourself time and drive out to Art Supply Warehouse in Westminster.

I did not hate store they have variety of supplies, and wonderful merchandise.The prices were EXTREMELY HIGH..The worst was the employees were not helpful, i was confused about paints, prices and ask questions as a Newbie and i was neglected, lost, and they were not rude! They were preoccupied with conversations..I spent too much money! I explained i need basic starter, and lowest priced.It did not give me a reason to return.

The friendliest staff!! So knowledgable without being intimidating. Amazing sale prices and incredible variety. To the employee (owner?) that gave me a discount on a product he’d never tried—it worked!! The re-sealable palette worked beautifully. Thank you. So excited to have this as my new local art store!!

I was really stoked to of found an art store near where I have moved 2 in L.B. Its pretty close to me, closer then driving to O.C. where Im use 2 going 4 all of my needs especially ata supplies. I will say that this store is rather small in comparison to the art supply wearhouse in Westminster. That being said, for your basic supply needs this store has most of what you may need. Its shelves are not fully stoked but if Im not mistaken the staff would be able to order what you are in need of, so just ask and they should be able to assist you. At the very least they will direct you in the right direction.. What I done most amazing about this store is the customer service that each one of the clerks seem to all have. Since finding this great little store Ive gone several times now and each time Im never disappointed w/the exceptional customer service that I am given. They all are extremely Knowledgeable and they never hesitate to help you w/whatever it is your inquiring about. What I find most important is that the staff are helpful, friendly and they are NOT intrusive at all. They dont encroach in your space or hover over you while shopping. I ABSOLUTELY hate that type of shopping experience and 4 some reason I find in LB that clerks in most stores do not have any concept of what customer service entrails & they defiantly lack in providing any form of customer service to their customers. BUT NOT WITH THIS STORE. THIS PLACE IS TRULY A GEM. IM REALLY HAPPY IVE FOUND IT AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE OF SHOPPING THERE IS SO ENJOYABLE. Notice most of the reviews are from a year or more in the past! The Lyons of old is no more! VERY deceptive! The store was bought out by Graphaids, and is SOOOOO DIFFERENT from when the Lyons owned it. BEWARE! I hope your experience is better rhan mine. Good luck! So sad this store has come down so far from what it was. Anyone who knew it when... should be able to atest to the fact that the Lyons of old was leaps and bounds above this store, which remains a somewhat lacking reminder of what once was. The prices, the quality, the variety and last, but most definitely not least, was the incredible knowledge, artistic diversity and prowess of the Lyons staff! No matter what you were asking about, someone there on staff had not just a passing brush with, but usually actual extensive experience with what you were inquiring about. Frances knew everyone by name and remembered you. This level of service and attention to detail is sorely lacking, as is the feeling of ownership and overall concern for true customer service. I want Lyons back! Im sorry, but tf his Graphaids just isnt cutting it. Now im depressed.
