I did not know that this place existed, until I drove by. They sale all kinds of musical instruments, I’m in love and I even bought my guitar there. They also give musical lessons, with great customer service.

Ive been shopping at music stores of all types and sizes since I started playing guitar 23 years ago. I also worked in a managed 2 locations for a major musical instrument chain for 8 years. I gotta say that this Music Go Round location does everything right. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and humble. Nobody has ever tried to BS me by feeding me incorrect information. If I have a question that they dont know the answer to, they ask someone else or try to find out. And the gear selection is always great. I dont think Ive even gone in and not found what I was looking for.

Great place to look for used gear! They have a decent selection of everything especially if you have kids! and the employees are nice. Ive sold a few thing here and Ill say they offer the absolute lowest price they can when you dont take store credit... If you have something to sell and need the cash quick its great otherwise you have to be looking to trade for something in the store for it to be worth it.

Every single time I go in this store the staff is so genuine and helpful. I drive way out of my way to work with these fine folks. I wish I could name drop the peps who have helped me but the problem is the whole staff is great! Even stayed open 15 extra minutes for me when I forgot my wallet! Can’t wait to go back 🤙🏼

I picked up an incredible refurbished Martin dreadnought acoustic here a few years back. It Came with a hard travel case, for the low price of $300. Great buy, so now I keep going back for anything else I might need.

The only place I will buy the used instruments I want

Every time I buy gear here something is wrong with it. Just paid $60.00 for a set of Gibson Deluxe tuners. Installed them and two of the cover fell off. Someone had cut the tabs off all the covers. Really tired of the lack of attention to the functionality of the gear they sell. Will not buy here again!

I recently sold this store to a great guy. I just went in and things look great. Im so excited to see things continue to grow.I already miss the staff. They are all awesome, and will treat you right whether youre buying or selling gear.

Staff is a great bunch of guys who have a grasp of whats what about musical instruments. It used to be a good place to sell your used appointment. I would give you a a decent price but nowadays they wont even give you a price better than what a pawn shop will give you. Ive noticed in last couple of years their prices have gone up. They dont negotiate the prices, which puts customer at a disadvantage Because condition is a huge part in what you pay. I will still stop in and check their inventory. But not as often as I used to.

I bought my kids band instruments here a year ago and had excellent service. We were new to the world of playing instruments. We bought one new trumpet new and a used cornet. It made more financial sense than renting through the school program. A year later and they are both still playing the same instruments. We got all our questions answered. I went to music go round yesterday and they didnt have the equipment to test out my audio interface which I was selling; so they ended up giving me a quote and called somebody who could test my equipment for assurance that it worked. Great company Ive been buying from them for about 8 years now... The location on Alameda has done well for me too, long white hair repair dude fixed my turntables after a water damage, they are great people with a great price for anything including renting pioneers, speakers, etc., thank you music go round.

I stopped by with my 12 year old daughter looking for a bass guitar. The staff was friendly, attentive, made sure we had space and time to play a number of instruments, and checked in with us just enough to make sure we were okay. For a music store, it was a really comfortable experience. They had a really nice selection of used instruments and gear in decent shape. Now I have to convince my kid we can only buy one bass instead of the four that she liked.Im an old-school bassist and a lefty, and worked at a music shop for years when I wasnt gigging. I felt right at home at this place.

Easy process to sell used guitars and peripherals

Cleaning out the house.Even though I don’t play any instruments I always enjoy coming here hanging out and listen to people play. And once again, my interaction with the people that work here has always been great. AW was the person that I worked with today, he was great.I have it on many guitars in my life and not learned how to play a single one. But a couple for my daughter but now they just sit there, time to do some housecleaning.I WOULD recommend any person of any age come and check out what they offer. They have pretty much anything that you need or want from new to use guitars, drums, whatever your heart desire’s.

Great customer service! A last-minute broken pickup in my guitar left me scrambling to get it fixed before an upcoming weekend of gigs. I dropped in to this store not knowing what to expect. Brian and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful, even going as far as to call other shops to find the pickup I needed. Brian did a great job on the installation. I was playing my guitar the very next night!

Great shop! You can expect to pay a little more than average for used fear here, but they are VERY thorough with inspections before they buy. You can trust you will get good gear. Use as a last resort for selling though. They will give you next to nothing for your used gear. They have to make money right. Overall, staff is very friendly and helpful and new gear rolls in pretty consistently which is good and bad news for those of us with incorrigible G.A.S. 😉

I bought an outstanding guitar for my amazing best friend at this store!!! I knew absolutely nothing about guitars. As soon as I walked into the store I was immediately greeted by a store associate named August. He helped me for about an hour. He was so knowledgeable about every guitar they had in stock. He was not at all a pushy sales associate or over bearing. He without a doubt has a customers needs in the for front of his mind at all times. Bought a DJ mixer online and paid shipping. Called up after 3 days as I didnt receive any update about my order. Guy told me that they sold the mixer at the store and will just issue me a refund. What a joke of a store.

Im not much of musician but wanted to learn how to play the acoustic guitar, Scott the owner, spent time with me picking out the right one and didnt rush my decision. They also have lessons there. I will be back.

Had some repair work done by Doug after being turned away by guitar center (after they’d had my guitar for two weeks). Not only did Doug fix it extremely well in less than a week, he did it for 1/4 of what Guitar Center estimated the cost and provided a warranty for his work.

Ive been going to this store for my guitar needs for 10 or 15 yrs, and never had a problem. They stand behind their gear. I highly recommend it!

EDIT: Since my initial review below, Scott (the store owner) contacted me, verified my attempts at contact (taking the time to dig up emails), and made everything right. I returned the pedal and he confirmed that it was a modified unit and refunded me in total. Im relieved to hear that this is not considered acceptable at their store and would give 5 stars if someone would have contacted me sooner. Many thanks to Scott.INITIAL REVIEW: I purchased a used Boss FRV-1 reverb pedal online. Turned out to be a bogus pedal with some other circuit mounted in the FRV-1 chassis. The tone potentiometer was merely mounted freely and unconnected to the circuitboard to keep up the false appearance. At first, I only knew that the thing wasnt working correctly so I emailed them but never recieved a response after repeated attempts. I hesitated to call, hoping I could figure out/find something minor about the pedal that could be easily fixed. I eventually called and was placed on hold and no one picked up. When I got around to opening the pedal chassis up, I found what I described above.

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were great. Will definitely go back.

Will not continue to shop at this location after seven years of stopping in on a regular basis. The last three times I have been in the shop the owner and associates have been incredibly rude and uninviting. When selling a few items, I was not given an excellent sell estimate when the equipment was in great shape. They tried to buy my equipment at 25% of the original value, when I was reasonably expecting 50% due to the excellent condition.Most of the equipment is overpriced in the store with several defects. An acoustic was priced at $300.00 with obvious disrepair with the body having a severe crack that a guitar luthier would have to repair.I will not recommend this store to my private music students as well as music business associates in the Denver southern metropolitan area.

I went to them for a specific pedal two weeks ago. The manager at the counter mislead me as to how long it would take by over 3 fold. I just had their employee Payton tell me over the phone the actual wait time. Put that on top of the manager telling me how lucky I was to order through them cause they charge $0.01 less than the competition and Im not feeling they care about their customers satisfaction enough for my legal tender.

Well firstly I play for a living. Which means that its sometimes hard, on my budget, to find gear that is going to work on a pro level at a price that I can afford. When I first came here they allowed me to try out a guitar, and then made truss rod and tremelo adjustments in order to make sure that my action, at 1.5mm, would work without fretting out. This is an involved process, haha. They did it. They stand behind their gear, and unlike Guitar Center, everyone here is a player and as a result, an excellent listener. Its easy to buy a guitar that I like but its another thing entirely to ask an educated ear which instrument brings out the best in my playing. Great store, great staff, and Ill likely head there now, lol.

I implore all parents who are considering using this business for their childs band or orchestra needs to re-consider and look at other options-and YES! there are other options! (this place works overtime to make you think otherwise!) This place will rip you off! I went with Kolancys for my 2nd childs needs-they are more reputable and professional by far, and they actually care what condition their instruments are in when they leave the store!No Scott, I wont respond to you, I tried to have things rectified while at your store and you and your employees couldnt have been any more dismissive or rude, but somehow now you care? Oh, I see, others can read this. Also, my bad experience happened at YOUR store Music go Round, not Music and Arts. I hope others read Joshua Fenners review as well since it perfectly captures what other parents and friendshave said they also endured as a customers over the years. I might have to drive farther for instrumental needs but it is well worth it!

Just leaving the store now! I was trying to get some more information on a couple different things in the store but despite their not being a lot of people in the store for staff did their best to not make eye contact or help me oh well!

My wife Tammy and I are in town for a special function and decided to visit the Littleton location. We snagged a few instruments and and the guys were fantastic. Ive been shopping here for years. Excellent service and they have a much better selection than the other stores.

Do not buy anything used. The warranty is only good for sore credit. They sell you something broken or on the edge of broken and then you can only get store credit. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the used products are poor quality and worthless. I lost $200 to this store. The USB midi port did not work at all, wouldnt even turn on. The akai mpk-25 controller stopped working properly after one month. I took very good care of these items. I would not waste your time on this scamming must-be struggling establishment. Especially if you are serious about music.

Ok, So I called and Asked if they had any .10 gauge banjo strings said they did. I went to the store and they didnt. I was about to leave(I really came to play this instrument I had my eye on) and one of the employees grabbed some .10 gauge guitar strings, cut them, and wrapped them for me. Alot of effort for a small sale! But really grateful because the only other place is Guitar Center and there all the way across town, and there strings cost and arm n a leg. Really happy with the service. And theres a female employee their thats really cute and good at the guitar, so thats always an added bonus.

I went in to get my Bass reset on the neck and everything. It cost around $80. I got home to jam with it and the horrible buzzing sound was still there whenever I played my high D string. Wasted my time and money.
