Used to be one of my go to spice stores. Were not living in 2020 any more. Take your business a block away to Savory Spice where theyre incredibly nice and helpful with similar, if not cheaper, pricing. Theyll be missing out on my business along with others if they keep this up. Keep your mask mandate, Ill keep my freedom and take my business elsewhere.

Before the 2016 debacle I had no idea that Penzeys existed. I bought spices at the grocery store.Ever since I saw the owners posts on social media regarding the orange nightmare in the White House I knew Id found another openly, proudly liberal business to spend my money with rather than random corporations. I love having that choice.Plus, their spices are AMAZING. Fresh and delicious and affordable. Love, love, love.

Fabulous, high quality spices! However, it’s the only local spice store that isn’t open and requires orders to be placed online. I’m also exhausted with their political e mails. I will be shopping where I can enter a store, try my spices before buying and don’t get weekly e mails about politics.

I love Penzeys Spices, have been using them for years. So glad I found this location when I moved to CO. They are so friendly, and helpful. And they really appreciate their customers, all the time but especially during Covid. Please shop here for excellent cooking results! ☺

Great shop in Littleton CO. Helpful staff. Wide variety of spices to choose from. If you have family and friends visiting the area its a sensory experience to go in and smell all of the fresh spices. Give it a try you just might enjoy it.

I’ve frequented this shop for years and they have a great selection of essentials and delicious blends. I always buy their gift boxes for wedding gifts. My everyday go to is the frozen pizza seasoning, don’t let the name deceive, it tastes great on many dishes.

Ive been coming to Penzeys in Denver for some time and cant believe I havent rated this place yet. This is the place that needs six stars. I personally this time discovered that they have a wealth of premixed spice combos that are salt free. Their items like cinnamon, paprika, and others will have several varieties from all around. Their spices are the freshest, come in different sizes so that you can buy just what you need and it wont get tired on the shelf. Too many other good things about this place to mention.

Their Turkish bay leaves are the best bay leaves around! We like a lot of other items from them, but we Love the bay leaves.

Penzys is closed to customers walking around shopping. You can order spices to pick up outside. But I do have to say this is a great shop.

Store front is closed and you cant get through on the phone. Tried to order online, but the web site wont let me save my address. Cant figure out how to order curbside pick-up. Very frustrating. I am a fan of there products.

The spices are top notch here, but dont expect good customer service unless you look like their preferred clientele. Last time I tried to buy spices here the two employees were alone in the store, yet they offered the bare minimum in guidance on my purchases, and only after giving me attitude for interrupting their conversation with my presence. I go to the store to sniff the wonderful spices and make decisions on what to buy, but usually end up doing the actual shopping online.

Extremely rude employees in light of the COVID 19 crisis. The phone line is completely busy. Knocked on the door, was confronted by an extremely rude employee. Was about 15 feet away from her (outside) when she began bickering about how my mask wasnt completely up and how they cant have any confrontation. Disappointed after having shopped here for many many years. Will be ordering online from now on.

The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. (Even for people like me who dont cook ever!) The spices are amazing! When I made Christmas cookies last year using the Penzy cinnamon ( a mix of a few cinnamons) and their double vanilla made my cookies I make every year even better! Highly recommended!

These are absolutely the best spices I have ever used. For several years I have been buying Penzeys by mail order, so when I had the chance to visit their store in Littleton I grabbed it! Great store, great product, nice people. Wish we had a Penzeys store where I live!

My experience was good however, very disappointed that the Penzys CEO had to make a big deal about supporting the Impeach Trump campaign. I am a Trump voter who hates the disrespect of my President. Just saying.

Absolutely love Penzeys. High quality spices that will give your kitchen that extra kick. Penzey Cinnamon is a must have. Peppercorns, nutmegs, sage, vanilla beans and there extracts are standards. Plus they usually have samples when you purchase.

Love Penzys Spices, however staff didnt greet us when we walked in the door. No one seemed willing to help us or answer any questions we had. A few weeks before Christmas so maybe they were busy stocking shelves.

These people are awesome, passionate about food and spices. They helped me not only with which spices to choose but how to use them. The staff gave me personal experiences of the spices they have used.

Store was clean, friendly staff, parking was kind of crazy. I wasnt familiar with the store layout since I usually go to the Arvada store. I spent a few minutes looking for Northwoods fire spices but then asked for help.I received great customer service and was reminded of the discounts I was going to bring to their attention. I could put my cell down and just pay without my coupons because they were on top of it.If parking wasnt such an issue I would go to this location since its closer. Great representation of what you expect from a Penzeys store.

Love Penzeys Spices. The quality is unsurpassed. They have jars full of spices for smelling and the scents are almost intoxicating. I have been buying all of my spices from Penzys as the poorer quality store brand ones are used. Great shop, great people, great company!

A little too expensive for the quality offered. Still not a bad shop, just not the best place to buy your spices. However, if you are looking for something rare and very hard to find, this shop might just be your saving grace!

Im usually happy with my experience when visiting this store but todays visit was different. I visited with friends for the first time. They had a gift certificate that they wanted to use towards buying their nice pepper mills. After roaming the empty store for a few minutes without any acknowledgment, my friend asked the clerks if they had pepper grinders. They said, Sorry, no we dont have those. You should try TJ Max, they usually have them and are more affordable. I couldnt believe it. I felt that they judged my friends because they didnt fit the normal demographic that this store experiences. Unfortunate, Penzeys! Great spices but crappy experience today!

I have loved and patronized Penzeys Spices for years and never knew or cared about their politics, but they decided it was worth their while to get political.I commented on their Facebook page post, pointing out that their disdain for opposing views was hypocritical, and they turned around deleted my comment (which wasnt offensive at all) and blocked me from commenting further on their page.Not only are they taking political sides, their view is that all points of view which dont align with their leftist views should be censored or rather, fascism is ok as long as it forces people to view things from the leftist point of view.
