Our experience started out a little shaky with the sales person. Once we signed the contract we did not get updates from him or responses on our inquiries. I called the store, and the owner John, got involved and our customer experience changed dramatically. John took accountability for everything and made sure that the installation and the project went smoothly until completion. He even stopped by our place a couple times to look at the progress and make sure the installers were on task. As with any major project there are bumps in the road but a customer can only hope that the issues are handled in a professional manner like John helped us. We love our new floors and the overall experience with Carpet Exchange. Thank you, John!
Overall the new carpet and core-tec vinyl floors are a huge upgrade to our condos looks. However, I cannot in good faith recommend carpet exchange for flooring installation. I appreciate them attempting to fix the issue but the continued lack of communication after discovering the issues is annoying to say the least. We had to reach out for updates instead of them taking the initiative to keep us in the loop. Their staff was late to every single appointment we made with them. Their lack of attention to detail was also concerning in that they cracked baseboards, didn’t have appropriate supplies with them or notice that they deeply scratched our brand new flooring during both the carpet installation and again when re-installing the LVP flooring. As a first time flooring customer I am disappointed in this experience. I had hoped we could trust this company and their staff to do the job right, the first time, but that was not the case. I’m leaving the review at 4 stars, because they did take care of us on the extra material costs it took to fix it and they did get it done before our deadline.10/16- After several miscommunication issues, they came and took care of our installation issues. We are satisfied with the new flooring. It still has spots that aren’t quite solid, but a lot of that might be our 80s era condo floor. I’ll still need to fix the baseboard they cracked, but it should be no big deal.10/12- regional installation manager stopped by and agreed there were some serious problems with the install. He said they need to pull up the entire floor and start over with extra materials. They are working on some numbers for the extra materials and will be getting back to me on an install date.10/10- my sales person Matt stopped by today. He was very apologetic about the issues. Assures me that their team is on it and are committed to getting us taken care of.10/10- was called by the regional install manager and my sales person. They seem to be taking the issues seriously and have assured me it will be taken care of.10/9- Just had brand new core-tec vinyl floors installed. The floor is super uneven. There are high and low sections everywhere. One section bounces up and down. They cracked my baseboard in a couple of places. And there is a half inch gap between the flooring and baseboard in certain places. Super disappointed in the installation quality. Left a thick layer of dust over everything. So far no one at the store will help me. I have to wait until the sales person is back and could only leave a voicemail. No manager was available.
I have been working with Devon M at Carpet Exchange and he was fantastic. I can be a difficult customer and Devon was patient and supportive as I worked through my 3 month process of selecting a product for the floors in my new condo. Thanks for the help bud!
So helpful. Cant thank them enough for assisting my mom with finding something she liked.
It has been very much a pleasure to work with Eva W for a number of our recent home improvement projects. She is very friendly and helpful and has also done an excellent job in organizing, ordering and managing our projects.Installers, Juan and Omar recently installed a new backsplash in our very large Kitchen and it looks incredible. They also removed the existing ceramic tile and installed COREtec Plus® tiles in our bathrooms to now complete our “whole-house” flooring project. They are reliable, hard-working, always on time, and are also very good about making sure all debris is cleared and cleaned upon completion of their projects. I particularly appreciate that they take much pride in their work and are always eager to please.I have a high-level of confidence in recommending Carpet Exchange (and particularly these individuals) to my friends and others who may require the products and services you offer.
We just had new flooring installed in our bathrooms and living room/dining room at our home in Silverthorne, Colorado. The whole process was very professionally handled, with the best part being the quality and experience of the crew that installed the floors. They were outstanding, having gone over and beyond what was asked for them to do, which included removing and installing new toilets. One of the guys, Paul, he actually took the time to replace an old valve that wasnt working. Thanks Martin, Edgar, Paul!
Contacted them for both carpet and hardwood installations. They did a fantastic job with my carpet installation. Had a good sale price on really nice carpet. 5 stars for carpet only.Their price on hardwood installation / refinish for basic 2 1/4 red oak was ridiculously high. Contacted 6 other hardwood companies in Denver / Littleton area. Carpet Exchange had the highest estimate by $1000 (not even close). Average was $2000 less.Had an up and down customer service experience. In store, everybody was nice and knowledgable. However they sent me the wrong estimate on hardwood originally. It was a good estimate so i scheduled an install. Then 2 weeks later i get a new invoice that was double the price. Had trouble cancelling my order and getting deposit back, wasnt getting calls back or email confirmations. Eventually all resolved.Would go back for carpet install but recommend going elsewhere for hardwood.
Three years ago I had a nightmare carpet experience with one of those super saver, non brick and mortar carpet places that is supposed to save the Customer money. Lessons learned. In 2020 I decided to go to a carpet company with a storefront and after doing some research settled on Carpet Exchange. What a delightful experience by comparison! I had Carpet Exchange put in carpet in a bedroom that had been damaged by a plumbing leak. Everything turned out great and worked just like you’d expect things to work. So I moved on to replacing all the carpet in my upstairs level . . . right in the middle of the pandemic. I worked with a very personable sales consultant, Eva and a great pre-installation expert, Gordon, who measured and planned logistics. And perhaps best of all I worked with John Bess, store manager, who knew of the earlier debacle with that other “carpet company.” John worked with me on every detail from pricing to installation. He was flexible, reasonable, and in every possible way helpful. To ensue a quality installation, John assigned Joel to do the installation and Joel did a great job in every room, every closet, and the stairwell. I have to add that there were a couple of wrinkles along the way and John jumped right in the middle to help with every one of them, including personally driving to my house and delivering floor protectors for my entry way tile and even coming out to help move furniture the first day when Joel’s assistant was unable to be there. Who DOES that? If you need a professional carpet team who does quality work with great follow through and follow up, go to Littleton Carpet Exchange. They will not disappoint!
Fantastic experience from beginning to completion of carpet install. Mary at the store did a great job helping us pick out just the right carpeting for our needs. Tino and his crew did a masterful job with the installation. Our house looks stunning! And their prices for beautiful, quality carpeting cant be beat.
John was very accommodating and and friendly. He made sure our order was correct and found us the top installers. Our floors are beautiful and we are very happy with the job.
John Bess is the man! His depth of knowledge about his products is impressive. He is a no pressure guy that will give you honest, in-depth and unbiased information to help you make your best choice for your flooring. The installation was a breeze. They guys came in and got the job done a with no stress and clean install.
We had an excellent experience with our flooring purchase from Carpet Exchange in Littleton. They had a great inventory to choose from and allowed me to take home a sample. Pricing was fair and customer service was excellent. The installation crew Homero did an absolute perfect job!!I love my new Cortec flooring and would rate the overall service from 1-10 an perfect 10!!
We had a very good experience at Carpet Exchange. We worked with Liz and she was very helpful and was well informed. She always returned my phone calls quickly and was wonderfully polite. Our installation went smoothly and our floors look great. I would recommend the Littleton Carpet Exchange to everyone!
Why do you show up as Murdochs
Great quality and service! I am very happy with the results. They were able to complete the job in one day, which included the main floor of my house. They also cleaned up nicely before leaving. Im very pleased!
Great customer service and very knowledgeable! Matt in Littleton saved me a bunch of money and didn’t even sell me anything when he easily could have. 5 stars in my book
I went there to pick out some flooring and found what I wanted very nice friendly atmosphere.
Our carpet selection and purchase was smooth and seamless. The installation went very well and the floors look great. Thanks to Tami for great service.
We had a great experience with Carpet Exchange service from initial meeting at their showroom to installation. The communication was consistent and thorough, which in this case was key as we were putting a house up for sale. John Bess and his team have my kudos for nailing a positive customer experience!
A friend recommended working with Jason and he was amazing. Very helpful and guided us through the whole process. Westminster is far from where we live, but we will definitely go back and work with Jason in the future.
My sales person Zonni was very helpful and knowledgeable . She help me select the perfect carpeting for my project . The installers were very professional and did a fantastic job .
Great service and quality. Ask for Tami Beckham. She is awesome to work with.
Amazing store! When I walked in it was immediate to me how clean and organized the showroom looked, this is a first class store. The people were very friendly and helpful, they are truly interested in making a home perfect. The prices were great as was the selection of wood and carpet. Wow they even have tile, I did not realize that the sold tile. Thanks for a great shipping experience
Lots of LVP selection, helpful staff. They let me borrow some of the larger samples to help me visualize how it looks in my homes lighting.
I worked with Karen at Carpet Exchange. She helped me find the carpet I wanted very quickly. There was no hassle. I was on a timeline to have the carpet installed prior to putting my home on the market. Karen arranged for the installation, but when an earlier installation date came up Karen was able to move up our installation date up.The carpet Karen helped me select was perfect and in my budget. After having the carpet installed we had a very successful open house and received 3 contracts on the second day of having our home listed.Karen did a fantastic job and provided true customer service. Thanks Karen & Carpet Exchange!!
I replaced almost the entire flooring on the main level and upstairs in my home. The sales associate was not aware that the register upgrade was not possible with manufactured flooring. Also, there was a tremendous amount of 3/4 round required due to the height difference of the floor replacement. I had to pay the contractor for this service on most of this quarter round. The initial investment was a lot for me as I had been saving for years for this upgrade.
John at Carpet Exchange was amazing to work with (again!). The custom carpet runner on our curved stairs looks wonderful. Will be using him/carpet exchange again when we move on to the next stage of renovation.
We had Carpet Exchange remove and replace carpet we had purchased from them some fifteen years ago. The old carpet served us well, but it was passed time for it to be gone. The selection was great and the prices reasonable. Our room was measured and we awaited delivery. we had to reschedule our delivery day and Carpet Exchange was very gracious about doing so, thank you.On the day of delivery we were given a window of 9:30 - 11:30am, so we planned our day around that. At about 9 am the installer called and said that they would be delayed by another small job and that they wouldnt get to us until about 12n, ok, rearrange plans no problem. 12 came and went. Finally the installers arrived at 1:40pm. They apologized, explaining that the work order they received for the other small job didnt truly represent what the other customer wanted and that it therefore took longer than anticipated. The installers were very courteous, and efficient, the install was accomplished in just a couple of hours, and it looks great !In summery, we are pleased with our purchase, and have new found understanding of what a service window means. Plan your whole day!
Unprofessional to say the least
Recently had carpet installed after Home Depot kept changing our order and we had enough. Our sales person Liz helped us find a comparable carpet for less than what we wouldve gotten there and made it quick and easy. We had a large area to cover and were very surprised at how quickly we got on the calendar to be installed. The guys that came were very nice and did a clean job without any issues. Thanks guys!
We had quotes from the 2 major DIY stores. Our room is 457 sqft, both quoted over 550 sqft and could not explain why there was going to be so much waste. Mary was a star and after install there is almost 0 waste (about enough for my girls to play barbies with). Overselling on the product is clearly how those stores pay for free install. But dont worry you get to keep the $600-700 in carpet you have absolutely no use for! Go see Mary at Carpet Exchange, shell share her vast experience on quality, face weight, textures, padding (and more) and only sell you what you need to get the job done.
Walked into return something my designer had got as a sample. I am not sure how she did it or whose name it was under (have never done this myself), so I was asking for help of those when you walk in. Turned out to be wrong store that I went to (which is my fault). However, those who were helping me were not at all helpful and kind of laughing at me. Would never come back. Niceness and willing to help without attitude do go a long way. There are other stores around.
I thought they did a great job ordering our carpet.
Love the new carpet. Installers were great.
Cant speak highly enough of John Bess and the rest of the team we were served by at Carpet Exchange in Littleton. They had the best prices/quickest install times/ and best customer service out of any place we looked at. We hired them for about 2000sq ft of install and were very pleased on both jobs we got them for.
Easy to do business with and a rep personally came to our house to measure what we needed vs. having to wait for an installer because of timing. Product delivered ahead of schedule and communication was excellent. Would definitely do business with Liz and Carpet Exchange again.
We took a really long time to decide which Coretec we wanted and Eva was so helpful with the process. We saw a few styles online that they didnt have samples of in the store so she had some shipped in for us. We love how it turned out and Chris did a beautiful job, especially in some tricky areas that we were worried about being able to finish with trims properly. Everyone who helped us made the process less stressful than what we thought wed be in for. We will be back for carpet in a couple years!
The selection here is unbelievable in the patterned carpets. Our salesperson Kelly helped point us in the direction of carpets that we can really beat up on the stairs and we were happy to have help narrowing it down. It turned out great and the installers were very polite. Will be coming back to get the tile in the entryway done.
I had a large project and many questions that came with it. Every customer service rep that I worked with was not only helpful, but knowledgeable. Overall I was very satisfied with my final results, and would recommend carpet exchange to anyone! Hopefully no new projects in my near future, but will definitely be returning when the time comes.
They have a lot of carpet and rugs at discount. We came in and the sales person was actually able to find us three different remnants for three bedrooms that are separated by hardwood. We saw the same carpet at another store, and the full price that carpet exchange was selling it for was still less than the first place we went to. With the remnants the price was almost half. They werent far out on installation either. We love the new carpet and our kids do too!!!
My husband and I are so happy with the work Carpet Exchange did for us recently. We did coretec throughout our first level and new countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms. It didnt matter which sales person helped us while we were in the process of taking samples back and forth, we received excellent customer service from everyone if our main rep wasnt available. We were told Juan is one of their very best installers for the floors and he did not disappoint. Very nice guy with an attention to detail and his helper was great too. We were impressed that they got so much square footage down in just two days. The countertops were a great price and really refreshed the whole look of the rooms. It was really nice that we were able to just buy how many square feet we needed instead of entire slabs, which is what we were running in to at other places we looked at. Overall we could not be more pleased with the quality of work and customer service throughout the entire experience. Will highly recommend to our friends and clients.
Met Ken at the Colorado Garden & Home show. Helped us with flooring and carpet selections, took great care of us and came in with a great price and the installation was perfect. Thanks Carpet Exchange and Ken!
We put in the coretec in our basement because we just cleaned up an unfortunate flooding incident. We got one of their newer collections and cant believe how much it looks like real wood flooring. Juan came highly recommended from Liz and we are very satisfied with the work he and his crew did! Great store, friendly sales people.
We needed carpet in our house in Breckenridge. We went to several flooring stores and couldn’t get anyone to go up and give us a bid. Eventually, we talked to John Bess at the Littleton Carpet Exchange. We selected the carpet, John measured the house and two weeks later we had the carpet installed. Extremely satisfied with the product, service, and outstanding effort to help us.
Just left the Carpet Exchange at Coal Mine and Wadsworth. After being there for 15-20 no one offered to help us, they did however assist several other customers and then would go back to their desk.Maybe because my husband has long hair and tattoos, who knows.Whatever the reason, not good business especially when our budget is 55k; more than enough.
Eva was easy to work with, patient and gave good advice. Thank you! Also, the granite counter tops and wood flooring were completed by outstanding installers who were both skilled and friendly.
Had a great experience with John (sales) and Mike (installer). Both were detail oriented, took their time, and did a great job. Our project was huge (hardwood, vinyl, and carpet) but I cant say enough about how good these installers did. They were very thorough and really made a usually unpleasant experience, tolerable. Thanks so much!
Went in not knowing what I was doing in the least, and had the pleasure of working with Liz. She helped me so much! Incredibly knowledgeable, and made me feel like the purchase I made was exactly for me. Installation was a breeze and I couldnt tell you how happy I was when I went home and everything is finally finished! Highly recommend and ask for Liz!
3 days to get estimate back this includes measuring the floors. Somewhere else took 2 months to get this done. Installers knew what they were doing and got the 4 rooms done in one day. Highly recommend .
Pat was just wonderful! Very Professional and knowledgeable. Made my experience seamless and stress free. 5 stars!
I was very happy with their work. As a Realtor Ive used themto do granite counter tops and install and refinish wood floors and install carpet. Very happy with their service. My sales person was Christy. She was great!
This is one of those time I wish 0 stars was an option. I went into this location on July 26th. Matt was the person who helped me (he smelled like an ashtray, which was off putting, but in the grand scheme is beside the point. I still think its worth a mention). I told him my budget, and he showed me a bunch of rugs that were over my budget. Quite some time passed, and I admitted defeat. When it became clear that I wasnt going to go over my budget, he let me know that I could choose carpeting and have it bound into a rug. He said that I could even go bigger with a pad and stay in my budget. I got really excited. I picked out a carpet, took the sample home to make sure the color was right for the room, and brought it back to the store in the same evening. I told him we found the right color. So we went to his computer, then he lets me know that the larger size he suggested was actually OVER my budget with the carpet alone, and that the size I originally wanted was over my budget with the pad. The carpeting along barely fit into my budget. I was very angry about this series of baits and switches, but I reluctantly agreed to purchase the carpeting alone to have bound into a rug. He said it would be about 2 weeks before I could pick it up. It is now September 12th, 7 weeks later, and I still dont have the damn rug I paid for 7 weeks ago. Ive called the store several times in the last few weeks. Ive been given the runaround by another associate, and Matt has told me multiple times that he was going to call the binding company to check on it and he would call me back, then he never does. We definitely wont be considering Carpet Exchange when were ready to replace the carpet on our stairs and 2nd floor next year. Ill be warning anyone I can against this business.
When we picked out our tile they said they would have to order it but never informed us we would have to pick it up at a different location. The Denver warehouse which is only open till 5pm is where our tile was delivered. Who can get there in time after work during rush hour? But the Denver sales office is open until 8pm. That doesnt make any sense. Then I called to ask about returning a whole box of tile that we didnt use. The Littleton location said she didnt know if it was special order even after looking at it in the computer system. So she gave me the Denver office number and said I would have to speak with them. The Denver office informed me that anything ordered from outside vendors cannot be returned and is considered a special order. Why werent we told that??? We wont be shopping here again. The sales offices need to get it together and inform their customers what the heck is going on.
Not a good experience. Went in with the exact measurements got a quote . Another fellow came to my house measured and explained how I had to pay for additional sq/ft for waste Why that wasnt initially calculated i believe is dishonest. showed me seam spots. He mentioned how the installers are idiots .installer came and proceded to change the seam spots entirely. Came out nice in the end. Next time Im using a different company.
Very positive experience from start to finish. Friendly, helpful, and patient salesman, and very courteous and professional carpet installation team.
Mark Carmody really saved us a lot of problems during our remodel. He was very flexible and understanding when we had to work around delays and issues with our contractor. The remodel is finally done and we are thrilled with our new carpet. I highly recommend Carpet Exchange Westminster and Mark Carmody!
This was a wonderful experience - they had a great selection of floor coverings, their installers showed up when they said they would - installation went great - they cleaned up after themselves and the carpets look wonderful! Great team to work with.
Mary is fantastic!! After a flood in my daughters room, the restoration company was telling us it would be 2-3 weeks before the flooring could be replaced. Made a panicked call to Carpet Exchange - Mary personally came out that same day to do the measurements and help us pick out new carpet. I received a call first thing the next morning to schedule the installation that afternoon. All was taken care of in 2 days, rather than 2-3 weeks!
We were absolutely dreading this project, and literally delayed it about 10 years longer than we should have. Im very pleased with the quality of the carpet, and the two installers worked well. However its the classic situation of Sales & Marketing (in this case, the salesman and the store manager) promising one thing, and the boots on the ground folks that show up at your door singing an entirely different story:1.) We were told it would take 2 - 2.5 days. It took 3 VERY LONG (like 12 hour) days. I knew they were underestimating the time.2.) We were told the installers could work around the 8-ft sections of latticework that we have on the balcony and upper floor of our late 70s era house. The previous owners installed it because the spaces between the spindles are wide enough for a small adult to fit a head through, and certainly for any child younger than 8 yrs old to FALL through. We paid extra to make sure the installers would work under or around the latticework. The guy who did the measuring and wrote the estimate for the job said this was possible. However one of the first things the installers said was that the latticework would be bent out of shape, might break, and the new carpet (higher and plusher than the old stuff) would have dents in it because of said latticework. So then, in a mad scramble, and not having time to spackle and paint afterwards, we had to remove the 6 sections, and now have to cover holes and paint OVER our new carpet. This situation could have totally been avoided.3.) Due to my husbands work schedule and his expertise with the TV/Entertainment system, AND the fact that our family room was the one room with a different type of carpet (a Berber) than the rest of the house, we wanted this room, along with the two other rooms on the ground floor, to be completed first. The crew showed up at 9:45 AM and promptly announced that they did NOT have the family room carpet with them, because they wanted to do it on the second day. IF we had gotten a phone call, IF ANYONE at the store had coordinated or communicated with us in ANY way to make sure we were prepared, we might have been able to adjust our work plan. As it was, I basically told them that their plan was impossible and they needed to do the ground floor first. They willingly offered to go back to the warehouse and get the Berber, but this meant that they didnt actually start tearing out the old carpet until 11:30 AM. They left at 9:45 PM and we got to bed at midnight after putting the first floor back together, in order to have room for stuff on the second floor to be stored on Day #2.4.) Our house is 2700ft on the first and second floor combined. Most, but not all of that, is carpet. The salesman insisted that two men could do the job easily in no more than 2.5 days. On the second day, the crew brought a third guy with them because the job was going to take longer than they thought, again, because of the spindles on the balcony. All of this was measured, documented and known on the estimate and work order ahead of time.5.) The guys lacked all the necessary material to complete the work. They needed to borrow our large extension ladder. They didnt have a dust bin for sweeping up inside. They ran out of black trash bags (like lawn/leaf bags) and had to use ours. They also left a fair amount of carpet fibers on our driveway, which thanks to the rain for 2 of the 3 days of the job, is now a mush-mess in the landscaping, rocks, etc. and will be there forever, or at least until next spring songbird nesting season. Of course we didnt mind helping them with supplies, but it irks me that the sales office with the lovely showroom, couldnt even tell me the names of the crew that would be showing up the next day. Despite THREE reminders and corrections for the contact number, the guys called the wrong cell number on the first day to let us know when they were arriving. There was a pervasive failure to communicate between the store and the installers, which are independent contractors, NOT Carpet Exchange employees
Theres a huge difference between the help you get here vs the supply stores like Home Depot. Liz helped us with the order and a couple other people helped us on her days off. Everybody knew their stuff and were able educate us on the coretec and the smart strand carpet (which was very needed as were total newbies at this). We went with a sort of funky look with the Appalachian Pine coretec and more simple with the Lavish Luxury carpet and we love it!!! The price on both beat out two smaller companies we got bids for that carry the same stuff we picked out too. We had Juan do the coretec, he and his crew did very clean work and we were shocked they got about 500 SF done in a day. Carpet guys were great too. Will try to post pics when we have the rest of the house together!
Great Products & Great Installers! Dewayne is a fantastic store manager and great to work with!
They have a huge selection of the coretec and the other brands of the lux vinyl planks, more than Ive seen anywhere else. The sales guy I talked to gave me all the info I needed to do the project myself and told me to call if I ran into any questions. Its nice to have an actual human to work out install problems with instead of trying to youtube everything. I recommend talking to these guys if youre installing yourself.
Liz was great and carpet looks awesome!
Sales staff are ok. Installers are not very good. My carpet installers didnt do a professional job.Had a complaint with work and the follow up crew did a subpar repair.
I highly recommend Carpet Exchange for flooring.
Excellent customer service
This place was pretty expensive. They have some nice tile though.
Excellent service and selection
Very professional and pleasant
Working with Pat was a dream!! She has great taste!!!
Best place to buy flooring!

Jim & Tom are ROCK Stars!!!
