We just finished the Carpet for our house over the weekend. Three floors, stairs and closets were all done. The Carpet Mill at Belleview and Santa Fe are to be commended. We were extremely pleased with the selection, service and pricing for all products. There was never any pressure and our questions were always answered quickly. Huge praise and kudos to David and Jamie.The carpet install crew did a wonderful and amazing job installing the new carpet. The whole house was done extremely well and craftsmanship was superb. They arrived each day on-time and did the job to our specifications. The outcome/end result exceeded our expectations. David and Jamie were true professionals. David always followed up with an email, phone call or text on how the job was going and went. We did appreciate Carpet Mills management with the help we requested about removing all the large furniture and moving it into the garage so we could get our house painted before the new carpet was installed. The only glitch with our plan was somebody in the job scheduling department did not check with us or with our salesperson, Candace, about when to send the carpet installers to our home. The painters were still in the house with two full days of painting to do when the installers arrived. Installers were told by somebody in scheduling that the customers, us, were ready for installation which was obviously false. When I called Candace, she knew the installation date but somebody neglected to verify installation date with her. Candace did a fine job on her end with the sales, planning and other job requirements that we had. Candace needs a bonus for her attention for detail. Scheduling department needs more training.

We’re glad we went here. Dave was really great to work with. He listened to our needs and found us the perfect carpet that met our budget. He kept us informed on everything and had no issues with the install date. The installers were very friendly and professional. We were very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend Carpet Mill to anyone!

I purchased Carpet and Cali Vinyl flooring from The Carpet Mill at Belleview and Santa Fe in February. I was very please with the selection, service and price. I would especially like to highlight the work of Candice and Dave.During the installation, the contractor I hired noticed that some of the vinyl planks had been damaged in shipping. I called the store and happened to get Jamie the director of operations. He offered to replace the whole box with out any questions. As it happened, my installer was able to make the damaged planks work but the excellent customer service was greatly appreciated.I would definitely use Carpet Mill again.

It was a great experience. Candice was very helpful and knowledgeable about area rugs. Would be willing to go back for other flooring needs. I really felt like I was taken care of without being pushed into anything unreasonable. I didnt feel pressured at all.

The store is OK, with average selection, but customer service and sales representative Candice is truly excellent. She had a thorough knowledge of the stock and a sincere drive to help me find what I needed. She pulled rabbits out of hats and led me to the carpet and tile that I wanted. When it came time to write up the order, she was efficient and professional. Finally, she followed up to make sure the installers had done a good job getting the flooring into my house. Candice is a true asset to Carpet Mill. I know Im gushing, but I really liked this womans customer service.

Wasn’t very happy and had to cancel my order. Need to be very careful when they says that you will be charged for the actual square feet installed and then they adjust their prices based on how much carpet they have to buy.

Our hardwood floor is beautiful, but still gaps terribly and has proven to be a poor fit for a heavily used dining area. They came out and repaired it once before our year warranty was up, but it didnt resolve the problem. There are spots along the baseboard where the hardwood planks dont meet the wall, gaps between boards, and places all over the floor where the boards are poorly joined together. The resulting cracks are now filled with whatever our kids have spilled on the floor at the latest mealtime. Our realtor warned us to not opt for a pre-finished flooring, but the sales associates we worked with assured us that it would be a good option for an eating area. Like I said, the floor looks beautiful, but it makes me sad that its only been 18 months since we had it installed and boards are sliding around and gapping and, frankly, look like we installed it ourselves. Kinda wish we had for the budgets sake.

We have purchased carpet from this store a couple of times and the purchase part has been good. The last time we went in we went a little extravagant by buying Stainmaster carpet to the tune of $3800. That’s $50 per sq yard. It sounds reasonable when it’s $5.00 a square foot though. We had them install and new cushy padding. For a SALE it was misleading. It has been 3 years the carpet is great, however the installation has rippled, and needs stretching. Is there a Lifetime Gurarantee? NO. You must have your expensive stainmaster carpet cleaned professionally, even though it doesn’t need it, every year to have the warranty. Ok, guess we are not a valued customer. We paid and we will pay some one else the next time we need carpet. We will not be repeat customers. This was written so others know what we experienced. If your carpet starts to ripple call well before your year is up do not delay. Buying expensive carpet may not be a good idea, when you have to pay for it to be clean by their chosen specialty cleaners to get the warranty. Always ask for the price per SQUARE YARD!

After having the run around and headache of trying to get carpet from Carpet Exchange, we decided to get a second quote done through Carpet Mill. Dave was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. We did end up spending a little more than we would have with Carpet Exchange, but I am a firm believer in customer service and Im okay paying more for good service. Installers were a little late the day of and I was concerned when they were measuring and cutting the carpet in my driveway, but luckily it did not get stained. I had to cleanup some leftover staples and some other little things after they left, but nothing major. Hopefully the carpet holds up well over time, but it is definitely an improvement from what I had before.

In December 2018, we bought a hand-woven rug from Carpet Mill Outlet at the Belleview store in Littleton, CO. In January 2019, I brought to the attention of the Manager, Dave, a sprouting issue with the rug. Even though the rug was over a year old, Dave was willing to exchange the rug. After consideration of the sprouting characteristic of hand-woven rugs, and the fact that we liked the color of the rug we had, we decided to keep it.Through the whole process that took over 10 days, Dave treated my wife and me with professionalism and respect. We went to this store in search of carpet samples. My daughter had recently moved into a basement bedroom that needed new carpet, but that was not in our budget. Candice welcomed us to the store and assisted us in calculating how many we would need. Eventually, she realized she had many smaller samples awaiting the dumpster and offered them to us at no charge! My daughter is thrilled and I will definitely head back to this location when we are ready to purchase new flooring in the future.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a rug and was told it would arrive in one week, maybe two. It took over 5 weeks to come in and I never got as much as an apology phone call! Had to delay moving furniture into my bedroom because of the delay in getting my rug. Also beware of salesmen offering you “special deals” that do not exist. I wasn’t happy with the experience. I like my $400 rug, but they need to work on the customer experience! I wouldn’t buy here again.

Àfter installing my living room the second time with bad looking imperfect carpet, my answer was we can file a claim to the manufacture.I didn t do business with the manufacture, I did business with Carpet Mill and paid them upfront.This is a poorly run store and they certainly dont have the customers interest and satisfaction as a concern.This is my first time writing a BAD review about a company Ive d one business with.I will certainly not recommend this store and will tell people to use another carpet co.

The Colorado Mills rug buyer, Baki, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in looking over and selecting three rugs for three different areas of our home.

We originally purchased our carpet from them over 40 days ago under the premise that it would be installed within 2 weeks and the hardwood would arrive in 5 days. The hardwood arrived at 28 days and the carpet still hasnt been installed.We can not get the sales guy to even call us back. There have been 9 times where he said he was calling me back, but hasnt done it once. Their purchase contract states that you may not say anything negative against them without having a fine. Thankfully, its on my girlfriends name and we are not married, so here is my review.Carpet install was promised every week over the last few weeks, including today. Still, not installed. After spending thousands somewhere, Id expect some customer service. This store has not been helpful. The guys at the warehouse have been helpful and just tell me the truth. If the sales guy just said how long it was going to take, it wouldnt have been an issue. Instead, hes blowing us off. I get that trucks run late or shipments have delays, but thats not our fault. If you tell us two weeks, we expect two weeks. If you dont have a clue, dont give a timeline.We are getting ready to redo our larger upstairs and can guarantee we will be shopping somewhere else. Now, time to file a BBB complaint.

Salesman (Baki) spent time explaining some fundamental issues with rug selection. Prior to the actual purchase he brought the rug we had selected to our home himself, so that we could see it in place with our existing furnishings. Price might have been cheaper if we had bought online, but we did not mind paying a bit more for the service.

I bought 2 small area rugs. First they tried to get all my personal info, then they made me sign a form that said I understood that rugs were not returnable. (I would never do that for a large purchase.) There was a big sign on the window that said area rugs 40% - 70% off. When I reminded him that he didnt take off the discount, he said These are only small rugs. The discount is for larger purchases. I think he was originally figuring out the cost with the discount; then changed his mind. How legal is that?

In May we went to Carpet Mill Outlet in Littleton on Belleview to purchase carpet and flooring for our home. Our salesperson, Dave was knowledgeable and extremely helpful about the product, came to our home to measure and assisted us in the purchase and scheduling of install. Dave scheduled the install of our laminate flooring beginning June 17th to be completed by June 19th and carpet installation to begin June 20th. We were told the laminate installers would arrive between 8:30-10:30 AM. I finally received a call at 11:30 saying they were on there way. Three installers arrived and where shown what needed to be removed (ceramic tile in the kitchen and two entry ways) and where the laminate was to be installed. I received a call at 3pm from the installers saying they were finished for the day and would return in the morning. When I arrived home, less than a quarter of the ceramic tile had been removed and no other work completed. The installers arrived the next morning and I was told they needed special tools to remove the tile and that they would have the demolition and install of laminate completed by the end of the day so the carpet installers could begin the following morning. I contacted Dave and expressed my concerns about the laminate not being finished in time for the carpet install and was told the carpet installers would be able to work around the laminate installers and the job would be finished by Wednesday evening as promised. When we arrived home, we found a disaster! The kitchen where the tile had been removed had chunks of concrete, ceramic tile and screws all over the floor and in the heat vents (which the installers were supposed to cover). The laminate installed in the entry ways was crooked and in the wrong direction. No laminate had been installed in the kitchen, living room or bathrooms as promised and there was no way the carpet installers would be able to work around this. We called several times that evening to the store, Dave and Tim (the installation manager) with no return call. I spent the following morning with a shop vac trying to remove as much debris as possible so the laminate could be installed correctly. Wednesday morning we finally received a call from Tim and told him we were not at all happy with what the installation team had done (not done). We were told he could get a new crew, but couldnt promise when that might be scheduled. After numerous phone calls and the worst customer service possible from Tim, we were finally told a new crew would arrive Friday morning. One gentleman arrived Friday morning and worked all day re-doing the crooked install and installing the remaining laminate. He had to return Saturday to finish. Carpet was re-scheduled for the following Monday. On Monday, two installers arrived to install carpet after calling at 11AM saying theyd been given the wrong address and were on their way. They arrived around noon and I showed them the boxes of transition pieces and was told they dont do that and that the laminate installer should have and that because things werent ready, theyd have to re-schedule. After more phone calls, the carpet installers managed to locate the tools they needed for the transition pieces and agreed to install them. Fast forward to 11PM that night. The installers were still working on the carpet and my husband and I had to vacuum up the debris because their vacuum wasnt working and had to move ALL the furniture back into place just so they could finish before midnight. Here we are another week later and I still have transition pieces that arent installed and two sets of stairs missing noses. Carpet Mill does provide a great product and the purchase process is seamless, but the rest of this has been a nightmare. The whatever attitude of Tim and the store manager is ridiculous and they refuse to work with us on a discount for the install price. No apologies for the lack of communication between the sales department and the install department. No effort whatsoever to make things right.
