Thank you Tipton and Hurst for your kindness. A new plant I had picked out was sitting at my door by 10:30 and the president Mr. Hurst called me personally in the afternoon to apologize! People make mistakes, thank you for making things right! I would definitely recommend Tipton and Hurst!I received my first delivery from Tipton Hurst for my 38th birthday and was so excited, for this was my first time to recieve delivered flowers! I was impressed with beautiful potted tulips! I kept them well watered and in sunlight, by the second day the tulip heads were touching the counter, wilted...I rushed them to the Heights store hoping they would say “oh no,let me replace these with another pot of bulbs,” but two ladies tag teamed me proceeding to gush “how beautiful the tulips were” and it was “normal” for them to fall to the counter (on the second day). The lady said she would “stake” the tulips upright and the pot came back with a ribbon around all the stems holding the flowers upright. I left bummed and saddened knowing the flowers would fall again the next day and at my first delivery experience. I would recommend a local florist, that is not stuck up, and truly concerned about making the customer feel happy and special about their gifted floral experience. For some people, receiving a gift of flowers is a luxury and as for me, my first time in 38 years. Our experience matters as much as your routine customers.

Tipton Hurst provided the flowers for my sons memorial service. I had a few requests for specific flowers and my children wanted fall colors. The urn wreath and table arrangement were gorgeous. And huge. Everything about the arrangements was perfect and well above my expectations. Tipton Hurst will always be my florist of choice.

Tipton & Hurst was great to work with for our elopement. My wife wanted a bouquet for the day and they were extremely flexible and easy to work with as we had to change our date. There was a small issue on the day of the wedding-the order had never been printed so the bouquet was made later than expected that included flowers that my wife specified not to include, but they were able to create the perfect bouquet for our perfect day. I would recommend working with Tipton & Hurst, very affordable for a wedding day bouquet.

Our family ordered the Cascading Love and Summer Mix silk floral sympathy sprays for a very special memorial graveside service. I live in the Dallas area and was a little nervous ordering artificial flowers, especially since we wouldnt see the arrangements until we arrived for the memorial service in Arkansas. We chose Tipton & Hurst in the Heights because we have used them in the past when we lived in Little Rock. We were afraid the silk flowers wouldnt be as nice as fresh flowers, but we ultimately chose silk arrangements because the service was taking place outdoors, and the flowers wouldnt need any water or special care and would last much longer. We were so pleased when we arrived for the service and saw that the sprays Tipton & Hurst made for us were delivered according to our instructions and also turned out beautifully! I don’t know whether to brag more on the selection of products or the service at Tipton & Hurst. I have had 2 emergency gift situations for people this year so far: one was 90 years old the other 50, and both women. I am 25 and terrible with gifts, especially for an older demographic of the opposite sex.I stumbled in stressed out, not knowing what I wanted to get but wanting it fast. Each time I was immediately approached by a member of the staff and each time they were able to give me a recommendation and have me out of there as quick as I came in.To top it off, I have received compliments on both gifts several times over a few months span. In short, T&H is awesome, they have earned my respect, and I hope everyone has an opportunity to stop by and meet them someday soon.

I received a STUNNING vase of flowers this morning! They were a Mother’s Day surprise from my son. I’m writing this review because this arrangement is honestly the most sophisticated, elegant, classy, collection of flowers I’ve ever had the pleasure of receiving. Thank you to the person who created this gorgeous work of art!!!

I was on my way, driving back to my business that I operate, and was having flowers delivered to for a special celebration we were having at the office. I had almost made it back when a Tipton and Hurst van (the smaller Toyota soccer mom looking van, not the bigger Mercedes Benz kind) came barreling through a turn and driving very wrecklessly, disregarded a stop sign and turned onto the same road I was going. Surely thats not my delivery guy I thought to myself.Just before I get to my business he suddenly makes another wild turn into a parking lot just across the street from my building. I walked into my building and went up to the third floor where my offices are.Now being a few stories up I could clearly see the van in the parking lot, from slightly above. Out of curiosity I grabbed my binoculars to see what the man was doing or maybe see if he was in distress, and maybe that would account for his wreckers driving. When I focused the binoculars, I could clearly see the man dumping multiple pills out of multiple orange prescription bottles, into his hand and then onto a book (or something like that) and crushing them up with a credit card.In disbelief I continue to watch him as he nervously looks around, makes sure the coast is clear, and rolls up some type of bill (money) and snorts up all 4 of the large lines of pills that he made into powder.I am almost in total denial of what I am witnessing, but continue to watch as he pulls out a small glass bottle looking thing with clear liquid inside, he inserted a syringe into it and drew the fluid into the syringe, and positioned himself in his seat in a way were he lowered his pants and injected himself into the lower back/upper behind area before putting the syringe in a little bag and disposing of it in a nearby trashcan.Beside myself, I am almost shaking wondering if I should call the store and report him or not. But I choose to wait. after he throws away the items, he gets back into the van and begins driving it (much more calmly) out onto the road and into the lot of my business...No way I thought to myself. Sure enough about 5 minutes later here the man is walking into my offices with a big smile on his face acting very nice and professional. He was a very good looking man. Tall, clean cut, and VERY muscular. After seeing this it was pretty apparent to me that the syringe was most likely testosterone, or body building steroids of some sort.I was in total shock at how he could compose himself so professionally after doing what I had just witnessed him doing. He delivered the flowers and went about his way. Just as calmly and smoothly as you would expect. He had no idea I had just seen him doing what he had just done across the street.Just thought this should be known and dealt with accordingly, I asked him his name. He said it was Bailey. I asked him Bailey... who? And he responded Bailey Smallton or Bailey Smalling something along those lines, surely there arent many male Baileys working for you guys that fit the description so i dont imagine his last name is critical information.He didnt do anything necessarily wrong to me as a customer, I just know as a business owner I would like to know if this type of thing were going on behind my back.

Place is cute. But my flowers were pricey and died the first day they got home. Didnt last at all. First employee was friendly and helpful. The rest were very slow. Took a long time to check out. Cashier held on to my credit card for a long time. Made me nervous how she took it away and for long. Like she was storing all my card information. Im not willing to go back. But shop is cute. Just a waste of money and time. Buy nothing living if you purchase from there

February 13, 2018 update:I was contacted by a manager on behalf of the owner to express how my experience was not indicative of how they would like their customers to be treated. I really appreciate that they took the time to contact me and see what could be done so that future customers will have a pleasant buying experience. They have always had a beautiful assortment of cut flowers and potted plants. I will give them another chance..........I used this location for flowers for a number of funerals. They have an abundance of fresh and potted flowers. I just dont like how I was treated in the store. I stopped in because I noticed that they had a sale on some of their holiday items and the manager seemed perturbed that I was buying the items that they had for sale. Mind you I made three separate purchases...but I waited in line, I was excited that I found an item for a gift for my mother and the lady didnt want to give me a gift bag & was stingy with the ribbon. I paid cash and I just dont like that I felt worse leaving the store, than when I walked in.

I get a full bundle of eucalyptus but you can also get them in half’s & it’s very affordable. I’m a regular customer here!

I can not rave enough about Tipton and Hurst, they were hands down the BEST! I met with Christina for our initial meeting, showed her some inspiration photos, and she made me feel so confident that they could do everything I wanted! Florals were a main item when planning, and they made my floral dreams come true! Christina was always quick to respond and adjust as we needed! A week before the wedding we made changes, added things, removed things, and she never missed a beat! The day before the wedding she sent me photos of items, made all the adjustments I requested, and I felt so confident going into the wedding day! I didnt see the venue set up until the ceremony, I took a few minutes by myself to walk around the venue and see the set up, and was blown away. Tipton and Hurst went above and beyond, everything was better than I could have even imagined. The colors of the flowers, the small details, the beautiful urns, vases, and the arch was out of this world! I had SO many guests coming up to me asking who did our florals, who designed them, etc. I could not have been happier with my choice on florals! I live in Mississippi and periodically like to send my sister in Little Rock flowers, and Tipton & Hurst is my go-to florist! Their online ordering is very simple to navigate with a variety of options. Delivery is always very prompt as well. I’ve had experiences with other florists in the past where online ordering yields lackluster, wilted blooms, but arrangements from Tipton & Hurst are always lush and fresh! Went to Tipton & Hurst on Saturday to chose some flowers- I wanted about 3 roses (they didn’t look fresh as they were fully spread out). I asked if I could get some roses with some sunflowers, a hydrangea and greenery. I wanted to spend about $50.00 maybe little more. I was told that roses in that kind of arrangement would be higher, anytime you add roses it would be higher. I left and went to Kroger, got what I wanted for $15.00. Ari and Christina are superb! They made my daughter’s wedding just beautiful. Not only can they create a beautiful design, but they go above and beyond in their commitment to making your special occasion even more special. They met at my venue with me and the people there, they helped flip the room after the ceremony (and even brought family with them to help), and they were able to decorate exactly what my daughter had envisioned. I would highly recommend Ari and Christina at Tipton Hurst above anyone because they truly make you feel important and put their all into your day to make it beautiful and run smoothly. I live in Washington State and my grandmother was buried in Arkansas. As long as I can remember, I would send her purple roses. It was so bothersome to not be able to continue that tradition being so far away. I reached out to Tipton & Hurst, Lexi responded quickly and asked me to call her. I called and she made my vision come to light. She spoke to the delivery driver Miles and had purple roses on my grandmothers grave within a few short hours. Howard Hurst and his staff truly have an amazing florist and showroom. Just a visit to their Heights store will give anyone a variety of gift items you might be looking for outside of the flower realm. But as far as flowers go they always have a wide variety and available flower selection to pretty much meet any customers needs or wants. Howards design team are very gifted and do such a wonderful job. I have been very pleased with the quality of their flowers and work for all different type of occasions, they have always been top notch.

I just called to cancel an order (person was discharged from hospital and I didnt realize it). Even though they had already made the arrangement, they cancelled it with no problem and were super nice about it. I love their arrangements and use them whenever I can. Very classy.

I use Tipton Hurst regularly, they have a great selection of not only plants and flowers but gifts as well. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and they go out of their way to please the customer. This holds true in all locations, Little Rock, Conway, Baptist Medical Center, North Little Rock & The Promenade Mall on Chenal.Customer service is paramount and if your not satisfied just call the president, Howard Hurst. He will do whatever it take to satisfy the customer.

I worked with Christina all via email and a couple phone calls. I received their name from Alda at Magnolia Hill in Little Rock. I was planning a wedding in Arkansas from Texas and Christina made it so easy. We made several changes even up too a week or so before the wedding and she made it easy and seem hassle free. The day before the wedding I even received texts with pictures to make sure I liked the bouquets and boutonnières and how they looked and if there was any last minute changes to make. Would highly recommend using them for any of your floral needs especially with wedding things. They will meet and exceed your expectations through what is known to be a stressful process, but for me was as simple as saying yes or no

They generally have a 50% off promotion on loose stem flowers on Wednesdays. Theyre much better than what youll get at the grocery store and about the same price or cheaper if you buy them on Wednesday when theyre on sale. Your significant other will be pleasantly surprised with flowers on a weekday and youll get a bargain.

A friend of ours is in a hospital in Little Rock. We googled a local florist and stumbled upon Tipton & Hurst. We ordered a bouquet and were notified, by the florist, that our friend was on a floor that couldnt receive fresh flowers. They called us personally to let us know they would continue checking in on the floor at the hospital so that when our friend did move, she would have fresh flowers waiting in her new room. Our friend will not be leaving that floor unless she comes home, so we were forced to cancel our order. The owner responded within just a couple of hours to the email I sent and was so gracious about issuing me a refund. I dont know when Ill have a chance to use a florist in Little Rock again (as we are from Michigan), but I certainly wont hesitate to strongly recommend others use this vendor.

I have to update a review I gave on Mother’s Day weekend. I can’t find that review, so just starting again.I had a terrible experience on Mother’s Day. Net of the issue was that a communication issue across the stores caused flower to not be deliver to my mother. I was extremely frustrated as the person I talked to would not fix the issue. I cancelled my order, said I’d end my 25 year relationship with them, hung up and posted my review.I don’t believe my review could have been linked to me the way my account was set up. So it was interesting to me that Mr Hurst, himself, reached out to me. He was very apologetic and reassured me I was an important customer.Ultimately, Mr Hurst personally delivered a fabulous bouquet of flowers to my mother, and apologized to HER for the mishap. She was very greatful, and loved the flowers.While I was very frustrated at what happened, I do understand that accidents happen. It was impressive how Mr Hurst handled customer satisfaction issues. I’m definitely still a customer and will continue my relationship with this company.

I recently purchased a corsage and boutonnière from them for my senior prom. The end product looked better than the Pinterest photo I showed them. My one complaint, though, is about the company’s payment set up. I used a debit card as a credit card when I first stepped foot in the store three weeks ago. The $83.82 purchase never went through even though I had well over $100 on my card. When I went to pick up my completed order two weeks later, I went to hand the lady my card. She said I already paid for it. Later that same day, I called my card and the purchase still hadn’t gone through. Days later, I had a very important purchase to make and I couldn’t, because Tipton & Hurst decided the wanted to take the payment off of my card almost three weeks after the purchase I THOUGHT I made. It’s fine if that’s how you all, handle business, but it would be courteous if you’d give your clientele a heads up.

I recently had a delivery for my mother who lives there and found Tipton & Hurst online. Man have they been in business a long time. Well I was not disappointed. They made and delivered quickly exactly what I wanted and made everyone especially my Mother extremely happy. You have a customer for life. I use them for all of my customers orders also.

Wrote an email to the company last night about the issue and by 5:30AM the next morning I received an email from the owner. He personally followed up with a phone call before 9:00AM. This was the first time (and last time) I have used Tipton & Hurst in Little Rock for flowers. I was shopping online for prom flowers (corsage and boutonniere) and found a lovely set at the Tipton & Hurst website. I placed my order three days in advance of the pick-up date and set the pick-up time for 3 (as their website suggested). Arrived at the store at 3:15 and was told she was still putting on the ribbon and will be done shortly. This was obviously not true as I had to wait for 45 MINUTES before it was ready. Thank goodness I decided to pick them up a day before Prom or they would not have gotten the flowers in time to leave. Neither piece looked like it did on the website (less ribbon, different colored jewels, and overall on the small side) but I was so happy to be able to leave, I grabbed them and ran. Will not be returning.

Tipton & Hurst is an amazing florist, everyone there is so very helpful. However, they are so much more than just a florist, they have perfect gifts for anniversaries, graduations, business thank yous and more. Highly recommend Howard and his crew.

I have been going to this flower shop for almost thirty years. They did my wedding and did a wonerful job.I also used them for my dads funeral, again wonderful job.. I love all the employees they are always so helpful and designers are so creative. The owner is also very friendly and gives back to the community. They have been in business for over 100 years that should say something..

Well, just a warning for anyone wanting to surprise their spouses with flowers. They will not show up when you want even if they say itll be delivered by a specific time...doesnt matter what the occasion either like an anniversary. Was told it would be delivered asap only to find out it was quite the opposite and set to be delivered at the end of the day or the next. Very disappointed and will not use this place again for flower delivery, thanks for ruining the surprise, or lack there of, completely.Update: After the mistake was made, the owner of Tipton and Hurst called to express his deepest apologies for the error. He went further than most to right the wrong and we are very happy with the solution to the mishap. Always have used Tipton and Hurst for their flowers because of the quality and appearance and will continue to do so since they acted truly concerned and made my wife happy with the resolution to the problem. Thank you again Mr.Hurst for putting the extra effort in for a happy customer.

They traveled 3 hours to do our wedding in Fayetteville. It could not have been more perfect. Gave them a few loose guidelines and they transformed it into exactly what I wanted. Easy to work with and turned out beautiful.
