I am a brown adult in my mid 20s. I am perfume enthusiast and have over 100 colognes. I decided I will go to Sephora and add to my Tom ford collection. When I went to the front desk initially the dark colored front desk girl was nice to me. But since they had almost no perfumes to offer, it was obvious I was not going to buy. So I started sampling some colognes, and then the cringe moment happened. The employee girl sarcastically said that I hope I find something. First of all that Sephora store is broke. And secondly dont bite the hand that feeds you. Be polite, teach your employees some customer service skills. So I decided I will just do random shopping and I saw the manager was watching me. I was curious why? Hmmm... So I approached him and asked him about where the men clothes section is. He gave me the directions. So while I was going towards that section, I found out that person was following me. So super cringe. Worst experience ever. Sephora you are petty and cringe, and have the worst business model if you promote these actions. ๐คฎ
Always love to browse here! Without the testers the place lacks some color. The very helpful sales associates more than make up for the lack of testers.
I had the BEST customer service today, I dont remember the name of the lady that waited on me, but she was very professional, courteous and helped me find what I needed.
My experience at JCPenneys a week ago was very nice and kind of strange because the last time I was there was before the coronavirus had hit our state but for shopping my experience was very nice I caught a lot of good sales the staff was very helpful I found everything I needed and check out was good I am not sure at this moment but I do hope and pray that JCPenney will not go out of business here because its one of me and my family favorite stores to shop ๐

I have shopped at this store more times than I can count and spent a lot of money over the years. I called a few days ago regarding a makeover for an event that I have coming up. I received no phone call after being assured would get one by the end of the day. No contact from anyone. I understand they get busy and are probably busiest during the weekend but they could have let me know. I called ULTA and with no problem at all was scheduled an appointment the first time I called. Super helpful and professional. I will no longer be shopping at Sephora. ULTA Beauty has now gained business and I will be extremely happy to spend my money with them. Thank you from ULTA for gaining our business. It is greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work for us!!!!
Tried to return something I ordered Sephora on line . Was rudely told I could only get half my purchase price because I opened it. Even though I had my receipt and the email where I ordered it. Came home and called Customer Service and was eagerly helped and will get a full refund. (Product did not perform as described or I would have kept it)
They are constantly out of certain products and have a lackluster selection. Wanted to try a new foundation but they have been out of my shade every single time I go. The worst part is that I bought something recently with a Sephora gift card. I ended up needing to return it, and instead of giving me a refund on a Sephora gift card, they gave it to me on a JC Penney gift card. Remember that foundation that I wanted that they never have? Well, now I cant even go to the mall Sephora or shop online for it because I have a crappy JC Penney card that can only be used at crappy JC Penney. Its not right. I expect to be refunded in the form of my original payment since that is the OFFICIAL SEPHORA RETURN POLICY.

Workers are always rude,went in there to get a concealer and got home and the concealer was already used and it was the wrong shade in the box, always out of stock on everything!!!!!! really dirty nothing cleaned
