We were at the Omaha airport several states from home when our driver’s window stopped in the down position. This is not good in Nebraska in October. It was Sunday so very few options but the automotive section at Walmart recommended your company. We called on a Sunday and your team answered the phone. They said that you were booked a week out but if we could be there at 0730 on Monday that they would at least get the window up for us. They did more than that - driving us to a restaurant while they fixed the window at a reasonable and fair price. They turned a bad experience into an extremely favorable solution. We cannot express our appreciation enough.

I started going to 6 to 6 in 2021. I was a bit hesitant as I am normally a dealership kind of person. The staff at 6 to 6 impressed me beyond expectation. There was a time when my engine made a new noise and I stopped by unannounced and they were able to do a quick assessment to tell me a reasonable estimate what is wrong (other customers in the queue, right) and advise me not to drive it until I can get it in.They stand behind their work far longer that any dealership repair which still blows my mind. That is like finding a blue eyed unicorn!They are professional, priced right, and actually listen to my concerns and request. I am glad I found them, you could be too.

Have been taking my vehicles there for 5+ years. They’re always professional, reliable, straight forward about what NEEDS done vs what will need attention in the future. They offer 6mo no interest financing for the bigger tickets (must qualify; although if I qualify, you will too...) which is really nice for your budget. Courtesy vehicle has been available to take me home or to work anytime I’ve needed it. Just overall a great operation 👍

6 to 6 did a fantastic job fixing my Chargers AC! Brought in my car after a few weeks of suffering in the summer heat without air conditioning and they were able to fix it up like new. It took disassembling the whole dashboard to get to the components that needed replacing, but they stuck with it and now its back to normal. While they were at it, they found and fixed a problem with my wheel rim, and even routed my dash cam cord better underneath the paneling to give it a clean look. Cant praise them enough for the awesome job!

Dean,Troy and John all worked well with me. They diagnosed a real bad enging problem that I bought. The people I bought it from did not look deeper into the problem I had. When I had my Dodge Van brought to 6to6. They asked for permission to open the engine up. They found that it had been JB welded together. When my engine overheated I had to wait to get it checked out. They went above and beyond any garage ever has for me in Lincoln Ne.

All went very well. The drive you to work is a great feature as well.The inspection elsewhere is of great value too.

They were wonderful. They ordered parts and said should be done around noon the next day if I left my car there (I did). And I got a call back the next morning at 10:40 ish with news that my car was finished. I went to pick it up and it was all ready to be paid, and get the keys and leave. They explained the differences between the two parts I could choose from (least or the best) and made sure I understood what they were explaining. I had all my questions answered with what I wanted to know and more! They had a smaller shop, but everyone was so nice and welcoming! And if you are a student, they do offer a small student discount. They also have a health check to check your vehicles health or even to get a second opinion from another shop to verify for free which is amazing, never encountered something that amazing at a auto shop! I will definitely go back to these guys when I have to next! Thank you guys so much for the work you have done on my small 16 year old vehicle! It drove better than it did when I brought it in!

Being new to town, I just wanted a reliable place to take my car I just bought for repairs and get it done. Prices were reasonable and they were thorough completing the work as soon as humanly possible. Happy with the work, I returned with my truck for knock sensors and oil change. We’ve used 6 to 6 a few times. We are grad students with a tight budget. It’s nice knowing we have an honest, low pressure auto shop to take our car to when things go wrong. They never pressure us into getting extra work done on our car and tell us exactly what we need to do to get it up and running again. With every diagnostic they take pictures of problem areas and include them in a write up of what is wrong. It’s nice to see picture evidence of work needing to be done on areas of your car you don’t general get to see. They have a great system and great costumer service.

Brought in my 2013 VW CC for a new intake manifold. I understand that German cars can be a pain to work on but they had me in and out quickly. Troy has been excellent throughout the entire process, and he even saved the defective part to show me where it failed. Definitely recommend these guys.

They will price gouge everything and screw you over for small repairs, wouldnt recommend to anyone who doesnt know much about vehicles since they will take advantage of you. Called 6 to 6 for a quote which honestly it was the best around that area, they performed compression/leakdown tests, CEL and clutch check for a car it was contingent on purchase upon passing inspection. John and Troy were very helpful, completed tests in a timely manner and sent everything via email address (I am located in Cali). Overall very pleased with service and input from their shop. Would highly recommend these guys!

Trying to pick between local auto body shops in a big city gives me anxiety. Everyone has “their guy” they take their cars to and even choosing between mechanics my word of mouth can be daunting. So instead I googled auto shop in search of a local place near where I work and went solely by reviews. 6 to 6 came up. I called. It was Black Friday. I wasn’t expecting to be able to get in that day but the gentlemen told me to bring it in and they would work it in somehow. I said “ok, but I’m at work so I will need to get someone to follow me to bring me back.” He says “hold on a moment....ok we have one of our loaner cars available you can use at no charge. And if we don’t have it done by the end of the day, you can have the loaner until we are done.” I was blown away!!! Fast forward a mere three hours when he calls to tell me they got it in and listed the things that needed attention. He gave me a quote, which was beyond reasonable, I approved the work, and I had my car back just SIX hours after dropping it off. They also emailed me a detailed check list of everything they checked on the car, the condition, the things needing attention, etc. So professional, so courteous. A+ gold star!!! I am so happy to know that I now my “my guy” that I can trust my car with should things go wrong in the future. Oh, and did I mention they reached out to me three days later to check in with me and the car to make sure everything was still good?! Highly recommend 😌

Ive been taking my Saturn to 6 to 6 back when it was near the Cornhusker Hotel. Theyve always been great; however, the last time I took my vehicle there to get it serviced, they did an amazing job on it! It used to rattle and vibrate but no more. Plus even though my car is a 2002, I almost feel like I left with a newer vehicle than when I went it. Id recommend 6 to 6 to anyone!

I go to school at UNL and I had a really good relationship with my mechanic back in KC. Its been such a relief for my parents and I to have 6 to 6 Auto so close to campus. Dean and Troy are the nicest guy you will ever meet and are such straight shooters. Ive gone to a few other mechanics in Lincoln who either inflate their prices or are just sleezy in general and these guys are TREMENDOUSLY better. They always give me the best price, they value the customer over everything else and their work is always top quality. Having to drop money on car fixes and maintenance is a pain and everyone would prefer not to do it obviously, but these guys make the experience positive and give the most bang for the buck. I feel like they tried to scam me on air filter services...I have only gone once and originally had rated this place very high for having such friendly service, but now I am skeptical of their service and do not plan to return. They had told me that two of my cars air filters needed replacing. I declined the service because I felt the cost of the service was much too high for such a simple task. A few months later I got around to changing the air filters myself and was very upset to see that my air filters were in fine condition. One air filter was a little dirty but honestly could have gone longer until it was replaced. The second filter was in great condition and still looked almost new!Another reason why I wont go back is because my oil change cost me twice as much as I am used to paying at other shops. Maybe they gave me a higher quality oil? I am not sure. If that is the case, I would have liked to have been given the option to get the more premium oil.

I get straight up information and even before 6 to 6 knew I had a mechanical background, they where honest and gave great advice on what my next steps should be on all my cars. When I add in the value of honesty along with a better than fair price, I have a relationship that is worth investing in. Fantastic shop. Tyler worked with me on two recent repairs and was so good to work with. This was my first time there off a recommendation. Their system is great, they send you an inspection report with pictures and notes and do not pressure you to get repairs if youre not comfortable. with the work. Very honest. Would 100% recommend.

My experience was great everyone was very kind and knowledgeable and I loved that they were able to show me on their computer what was going on with my car. I had two other places who were trying to charge me over $1300 to fix my car and the issues that were stated wasnt even what was wrong with my vehicle. By noon he called gave me a full diagnosis of the vehicle by the end of the day it was ready to go. 6 to 6 is probably the best mechanic Ive been to in my years of owning cars. I do work on my own cars most times but got stuck with a bad axle on my 90 Isuzu pickup here in town as I was visiting for a wedding. Tyler and Dean and everyone else I talked to was great. I had an appointment for my oil change I got there late, no one gave me grief about it they were very professional courteous and quite fast. Im so pleased that I found out about 6 to 6 Auto Service! Ill never take my car anywhere else to be diagnosed or worked on! After his tech inspected my car when I brought it in, knowing it had issues, Steve, the manager clearly explained each issue and prioritized them for me so that I knew which ones needed to be taken care of right away and which ones I could hold off on at least for a while. The transmission for my 2009 Malibu needed to be replaced. As this was something covered by the service agreement that came with the car, I could have received lackluster service, but that was not the case. Tyler was tenacious in making sure that I got the best service and that everything was in excellent working condition and ready. Highly recommended!

Overall GREAT service. I brought my car in for a busted half shaft. They assessed the urgency and made me an appointment for 2 days later. They made sure the appointment worked for my schedule and offered to give me a ride to work. Within 2 hours, theyd completed the full diagnostics and sent me an email with an AMAZING informative document (including picture documentation). After giving them the go-ahead, my car was ready for pickup a couple hours later. They broke down and explained the cost to me at pick-up. After I paid and got my car, I called a few mechanic friends and asked them about the pricing. They said it wasnt the cheapest, but it wasnt unreasonable at all. Quoted me $450 for my starter to be fixed. Then when I told them I would take it to someone else that could do it for $200. They charged me for a starter check which was not discussed prior and they said they told me that up front about it. They do a good job of diagnosing your whole car though and giving a full emailed report.

Tyler is extremely professional friendly and very knowledgeable. He was quickly able to diagnose my problem and let me know what I needed to get my vehicle running again. I called it in first thing in the morning not knowing what I was going to do and Tyler was able to get the parts, fix my car and have it back to me same day! I dropped my car off and Tyler brought me home. The overall experience was very easy and extremely great customer service and the price was very fair! Incredibly impressed with this shop. I found them through the Costco Auto Repair program. I needed to get a car in fast for service and not only were they incredibly accommodating, but they got the work done incredibly faster than promised. I took my car in for an oil change, ac inspection and brake inspection. They did a good job and I really like that they didnt try to up sale me on the brakes. They checked the brakes and noticed that there is still enough padding to last until my next oil change so instead of trying to get me to pay for the brakes they told me it would be more economical for me to wait until my next oil change. That really signaled to me that they werent trying to make more money from me. Its hard to find an honest mechanic shop and I feel like I found one.

Quick, professional, and great pricing. I brought my 03 Grand Cherokee here with a suspected transmission issue. Within a day I had a very detailed report complete with pictures and recommendations from the vehicle inspection report that they ran. They got a hold of me a few days later and told me all of the issues that had been found, how pressing they were to fix and an estimated cost for the repairs that ended up being a little higher than what I actually ended up paying. Overall I had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be bringing my Jeep back if I have any issues in the future.

Come to find out it had only been a bolt that came loose, so they put in a new one and didnt charge me a penny! These guys are a blessing to a women bringing her car to a mechanic shop.
