Just left there about an hour ago and the service was awesome!! Get you in and out in 10 minutes and the prices cant be beat!! I called several different places to get prices on a battery for my car and Motor City beat them all!! Its definitely worth your time going there. So glad I did!!

Purchased a house brand battery and install was free. Battery required removal of wipers and plastics due to it being placed near the firewall. Price was better than all the auto stores. Will definitely be returning.

Purchased a battery for a moped and a van and both batteries lasted less than month, I brought the battery back and they supposedly fixed it which it didnt fix, had to bring it a 3rd time for replacement. I have never bought a battery from any company that it doesnt stay charged. They look brand new so I dont understand but it is highly inconvenient to be going back and forth. would not recommend to buy from here

Love this place they had what I needed the guy was very informational the power wheel batteries there were 80 bucks a piece and then the guy said he could use another batteries around the shop and take the clip off the batteries of the power wheel battery and put it on another I walked out with two batteries for 95 bucks what would have been probably the price for just one power wheels battery

Fast and friendly service. Walked in, stated my vehicle type and year, was told it would be 60$ for a reconditioned battery for my 2000 Sonoma, free installation, pulled through the building and had it installed in a few minutes and drove home. I will be buying all future batteries here.

Wow!! I dont have a clue what happed to the great!service this place has provided in the past.BUT ITS GONE! As a 30 yr mechanic i have bought 2 batteries myself refered motorcity numerous times along with my daughter.well her battery went dead.i did all the normal tests before determining the battery bad.she returned it under warranty and was given a loaner which has worked properly! After several 3-4days she called them about the battery as they said they had to keep for testing.they blamed the problem on her car? Well when i attempted to explain my qualification that its not her car.after all its been fine with the loaner battery so you decide? Anyway they appear to be more worried about 62.00 than repeat customers. Not to mention the lousy service.damn shame good bye motorcity.

O took the liberty of taking my 03 trailblazer up there for the very 1st time. I was very impressed with the way the 2 gentleman who was working in the back who quickly seen amd acknowledged me, i told them what my issue was regarding needing a new battery they resolved it very quickly im amd out in under a half hour. Only because on of my bracket bolts wanted to give them a hard time but they tackled it amd dealt with it and im back on the road .

I purchased a reconditioned battery on January 2nd. I was told my battery came with a one year warranty. On February 19th my car would not start, so I was able to jump start the battery. When I drove to Motor City Battery to inform someone of my problem they did not honor the warranty. I was told I first need to replace my alternator before my warranty honored. The same day I took my vehicle to a professional mechanic, and after he took a look at the battery he noticed was acid leaking from my battery. He assured me there was no way I needed to purchase an alternator. I purchased new battery from advanced auto and now my car is running perfectly fine.I will NEVER do busy with Motor City Battery again. Dont waste your time or money with these guys its not worth it.
