They were friendly and checked out the problem quickly and called me with results. They explained what needed to be done and let me decide what I could afford to have done immediately. They completed the repair in a timely manner and called me when it was completed. They accepted payment by credit card and gave me a written notice if the additional things that were need to be taken care of when I could afford them.

This place is FANTASTIC ! I would recommend them to ANYONE & EVERYONE!!! The guy at the front desk was so nice and helpful! I took my 04 Sierra Denali there to get my driver side Shackle fixed which had went through my bed of my truck!!!EVERY SHOP from here to Shelby Township told me between $600-$800!!! They did it for $100 but I had already bought the part!!They were fast and professional!!! Both times dropping off and picking up anyone I talked to was very nice!When they were done with my shackle they looked at my front end And gave me a list and the price it would be to get everything I needed fixed!I would like to thank these guys for fixing my truck!! My 2011 F250 developed quite a clunk. Thinking it was the front end I took it to my mechanic. He said it was actually a worn big bushing between the body and the frame and he was not equipped to repair it. I called the dealer I purchased the truck from and they also said they were not equipped to fix it. What?! The dealer cant fix it?! So I called Downriver Spring. Not only were they familiar with the problem, they said they could fix it! While they had it I also had them replace a tie rod end that was on the verge of going and give it a much needed oil change. I enjoyed a nice quiet ride on the way home. Thanks Downriver Spring!

They gave my small class C motorhome a front end alignment as well as greased front end and tightened bearings. The 50 mile ride home was better than new off the lot! I will go back for any future work the motorhome may need.

I took a company work van in, which i rely on daily. They were done with the work before i was even ready to pick it up. I have every intention of going back with my personal truck when it needs work .

Once again Down River Spring nails it! Asked Travis about leaf springs and got them and an additional leafy due to I smashed the first pack. So now the truck is ready for a good days working! Fixed my parking break issue, also found axel seals were leaking while back there, diagnose fixed, back to me in 2 days! Y’all are awesome! Thank you again.

Most honest place I’ve ever been too!!!!! I called around and they were not the cheapest place I found but I’ma firm believer that skilled labor isn’t cheap and cheap labor isn’t skilled. A couple other places told me I needed stuff that I found out I did not need. This was the only shop that fixed my problem and didn’t throw in “extra” stuff that I didn’t need. These guys know what they are talking about. Goto them if you don’t want to be robbed

I own a lifted 5.7 dodge and to make a long story short it’s my baby. Personally I’ve always had bad luck in the past when it came to mechanics, even if I knew them personally i was never satisfied with their work or professionalism. When I took my truck to downriver springs I was hesitant to hand over my keys but after getting to know Steve and the other mechanics and after seeing their work I wouldn’t take my truck ANYWHERE else. Their honesty and workmanship puts me at ease and that is something I’ve never had with any mechanic.

I originally wanted one leaf spring replaced cuz it was broken n I had already been going through it trying to find the part on my own for a month..but I Google them n steve suggested it would b better to replace both on my fifth Avenue...at first I was like no but then I was like yea lets do it..we had sum miscommunication during this process but I can say overall these guys did a great job on car they went above n beyond just to make sure my car wasnt a stress of mines during this time. I appreciate that n will b back for a wheel alignment hopefully.

The guys there were awesome. I had a whole list of things that need to be down on my old suv and they went down the check list and I got some more to do but i got done what I needed to get done right now ( gas leak, oil changed and my heat) and I’m going to save up for the next round.

Yesterday, I brought my Minnie Winnie in for an oil change and installation of rear dually wheel valve extensions. As with my two previous appointments at Downriver Springs, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating and the work was very professionally, thoroughly, and reasonably done. I only wish Downriver Springs had another location…in Florida where I live!

Thank you Downriver Spring Service. The Ford dealer could not get my alignment in specs on my 2012 Escape. I talked with Steve who set up my appointment. I dropped it off the night before and by noon the next day it was done. Excellent work by your guys. My alignment is now within specs and it drives and handles great.

They were honest, and kept me up to date on what was going on with my vehicle, they got the work done in no time. They repaired the rear springs on my F 250 with 136000 miles on it and it is like new now. The work was performed on time and for the cost they quoted. We will be having our other work truck, also repaired there soon. Very professional and friendly staff.

I own a lifted Jeep Cherokee and was having a hard time finding a shop to do an alignment (among other things) A friend recommended Downriver Spring and once I went there, I didnt look back! Brought in my older Ford Ranger which is lovingly maintained but with a million miles and these guys definitely sorted it out. If you have the inevitable suspension issues that high mileage brings Ill tell you what your local mechanic will say: he cant do the job and probably cant even get the parts. If youre lucky he will direct you to DR Spring, as mine did. A fledgeling family business they do the job extremely well and go above and beyond. Steve and Travis are very hands on, (Travis took on a tricky frame welding job when it became apparent that this was also an issue) and are filled with advice and know-how. Highly recommended, friendly guys, quick, efficient and fair.

Ive been calling here for weeks trying to schedule an alignment. Steve was very rude on the phone. He asked me when i would be able to drop off my vehicle after saying i can do that today right now. He says we wont be able to make an appointment until next wednesday. Nor can we have you drop your vehicle off today... Also said you must be the woman from out of town with the spreader. Sounds like i dont even want to work on your vehicle. Seems im not the only person having an issue an the moment. Ive had my business pushed off for weeks. They keep saying later in the week or next week without any interest or seeming to want any business at all..steve was possibly one of the rudest people i have ever dealt with at a shop. Looks like ill be gladly taking my business to Tire Mall as they can take me in today and were so polite when i called to make an appointment.

These guys are awesome! I had a Ford Escape that rusted out in the wheel well and all my wires got chopped and every collision shop I went to told me that the car was no good and it couldnt be fixed, and these guys fixed it good as new for me. I highly recommend this place
