Noticed long lines of people waiting at check out as we entered. Got into the store to begin our lumber purchase for a build project and was told we had to leave if I would not wear a mask. The gentleman refused to acknowledge the medical slip showing I could not currently wear a mask and made us leave. Wont get into details about how rude he was and time wasted trying to explain our situation medically, would take too long. He actually followed us like security to make sure we left. My adult daughter with me was wearing a mask, my other daughter who was 12 wearing a mask. I had my two grandchildren who are 5 years old not wearing mask, we were told they must wear mask as well. Took my business to Lowes Home Improvement where they took very good care of us. Menards will not see business from our family again.

Let me tell you this ladies and gentlemen. They are the rudest individuals there is . I asked question about product and explain that Lowes was different and explain what was different . Quote then go to Lowes then . Now that is a great sales pitch

Our fridge died this morning so headed out to get a new one. All the people who helped us were amazing and got a really good price. Fyi they will take ur old appliances no matter if they deliver ur new one or u take ur new and bring them the old. 20 bucks and they take it off ur hands.

The Worst management I’ve ever, ever, ever delt with!!! Better wake up Menards or you’ll be having to close another store, especially with the clowns you have running your Lima store!!!! I only left a single star, because I had too! A negative score would be more appropriate!!!

The store manager, Justin, is beyond horrible!! The unprofessionalism and disrespect he gives to not only the customer but also some of the employees is unbelievable! He has been extremely rude and doesn’t listen to a word the customer or other employees are saying as long as they are backing the customer.

Dont buy gas equipment here. Fired up a chainsaw right out of the box... leaked oil badly and would not idle at any carb adjustment. Called to take it back, they refused because it had been gassed up. Made me go to a overwhelmed repair shop instead.You lose big money at Menards.

I had my receipt and everything to go with my return yet and still I was held up for 30 minutes meanwhile other customers had refunded their stuff and went on their way🚫 never again will I purchase from this location. The cashier was rude and whispering into the mic Im so over it. LOWES ME PLEASE

These folks are great!!!If what youre looking for is building supplies, lights, anything to do with your home in any way and they dont hsve it, it probably doesnt exist.Something else...if you go in there and have trouble finding what you are looking for...just ask...they dont just tell you the aisle...they take you to it and if they cant see it they hook you up with someone in that area to help you...truly superb!!!

There is no longer a mask policy on the door me and my husband were walking without a mask I had one associate tell me to put it on fine whatever. They then found my husband in a different aisle told him he had to wear a mask even with being a ashmatic.he was followed out of the store i had to buy our product.then as I was walking out the associate that told me to put a mask on was talking about me with another associate never again

Wide selection of products, reasonable prices. Store is always pretty clean. Only issue is sometimes the app will tell you they have items on stock, but they have not done inventory in awhile, so they may have less or none of what you need.

MENARDS REBATES ARE A SCAM! Menards advertises rebates up to 11%. I have sent in rebates religiously and on time since Dec 2019 and have yet to receive my rebates. I have contacted the rebate center several times and only got one response asking for the dates, receipt numbers and amounts of all my transactions which I sent in for rebates. Luckily, I saved all my receipts and emailed that information. It amounts to around $500 in rebates. This was several weeks ago and still have not heard from their rebate center.

Nice store. They didnt have a switch plate in stock that I needed so Archie showed me how to order online and get it delivered right to my house. Um, obviously I know how to do that, but he was trying to be helpful. 😉 What he failed to mention was that it would cost me just as much in shipping. 😳

Absolutely horrible customer service. my husband and i went in to buy a very large amount of flooring and no one helped us. we couldn’t even find a cart to load the flooring onto, when we asked for help they said they didn’t have any. you’d think they would want to help those with large bulky purchases. i was so angry we just walked out, we’ll get it elsewhere.

Got kicked out because I didn’t have a mask. I have severe asthma which is the reason I don’t wear one. The worker said didn’t care and said I needed to buy one at the front desk. Looks like I’ll go to Lowe’s and spend my 2500 for a new washer and dryer 👍🏻

It was hard to Navigate the store to find everything i needed. Some associates were helpful, some just pointed across the store when i asked for assistance and gave me an isle number. (Usually not the right isle number). I will shop online as much as possible when i need something from Menards.

After buying a barn package to start with the 4longest post were not sent. With the credit we had go buy material and build them ourselves. Then to put up the10*12 overhead we were sent the wrong side rails. With the short rails holding the door up it has been over two weeks and I have been told we may have did it wrong. They are trying to see how to replace them for warranty. All I ask for was the correct parts so the door can be opened.

I was walking in the store I couldnt breathe had my mask off and wanted workers came and told me I had to put the mask on or leave the store I told him if I pass out in the store I can put all bills on them for making me wear a mask and he said good luck. That happened in Menards in Lima Ohio

I moved recently and but most of my cabinets, shelving, shower and many other things from there. I bought garage shelving, a gas can and a couple of things. Im very pleased with their selection of products

I have been a customer of Menards for years now. I love to see a company do the right thing for their employees and customers by requiring masks in this time. Now that other stores dont have the same standards, I now show here exclusively. They have pretty much anything and if they dont have it, theyll order it right there on the spot.

If someone feels the need to wear a mask fine, but at the same time I do not feel the need to wear one and I will no longer shop here. I will go where freedom of choice has not been taken from me.

Ive avoided Menards for a long time due to their moving things around all the time but I needed parts that they only had in stock so went with it. What a surprise. Everyone I had to deal with (4 different areas) were extremely helpful and friendly even though they were super busy in the areas I needed. Am definitely interested in coming in more often with the level of service I received. ThanksUpdate. The mail in rebate is a scam. I made a large project purchase and a year later still no rebate even though it says it was mailed. Contacted customer service with 0 resolution. Looked online and there is a class action lawsuit with so many not getting theirs

This store has what you need an more. Dont take my word go and check out MENARDS and the savings you will get friendly workers to help you out just dont forget to wear your mask .

Check your items before leaving if ordering online for pickup. Ordered a deep freeze, got home took the box off and it looked like it got hit by a forklift. I called back up and they said they had 2 more that just came in on a truck and would set one aside with my name on it. While packing the old one back up I see a sticker on the box saying floor model so if true someone had to of seen the damage and still boxed it back up and sold it to me. I take it back to exchange the next day and no one has any idea about 2 more that came in. Im offered either a full refund or they can put me on a list for when more come in which they had no idea when that would be. I pretty much laughed and said I assume I wont get any compensation for wasting 5 hours of my time and the person said I would have to talk to someone else about that. Pretty poor customer service. Online pickup experience is a disaster there.

I went to Menards in Lima Ohio today and had to wear a mask and as I was shopping I could hardly breathe and had to keep taking it down off my nose so I could get air. I will not be shopping there as long as this rule applies😢I will drive across the road to Lowe’s and give them my business.

Friendly, helpful service. Everyone was masked up, which is a very good thing.

If I could give no star, I would. They keep changing the rules, each day it is something new, now mandatory to wear a mask, they have closed the entrance to garden center so you have to walk half a mile away to get to the main entrance, No children allowed. Since, they have done this, my company (who purchases so much) will not patronize this business.

I very much appreciate the selection and assistance available at Menards. Im particularly gratified that they are requiring masks and seeing that social distancing is applied.
