Yesterday, I had an almost perfect experience but it started off a little rocky. I walked in and found what I was looking for, a small flatbed hand truck. I saw it on the display. I then went to the cashier stand #1 where an older lady was and asked her about getting some help with it. She informed me that I must have been the one who called and inquired about the larger hand truck. Even though I informed her that I never called, she proceeded to tell me that I had. A young lady came to actually help me and I showed her what I was talking about. Thankfully, she was able to locate one in the back. The only cashier was #1 and I wasnt looking forward to dealing with that older lady again. Just as I was thinking that, another cashier opened up their register and I was able to go over there and get checked out without incident. Someone needs to let that lady know that she doesnt know everything and she should never argue with a customer about what they didnt do. I dont know her name, I didnt see her name tag but I was there at around 12:30pm.

This Harbor Freight operates unlike any other I have been in. Very well organized and they care to get you what you need. I called because my local HF did not have a motorcycle carriage in stock. Another close by location showed limited stock online but it was their display. I called Lilburns location to see if they had one in stock and to my surprise they had one left. The lady was kind to put it in my name and hold it for me. I live an hour away and came by as fast as I could. I met the manager at the cashier register and he quickly contacted someone to help me load in the large package in my car. I was instructed where to park and within 5 minutes from checkout the item was carefully loaded into Subaru. I only got one of their names (Michael) but thank you to all three of the HF employees that I came across today. They do it right here. A+

This is one of my favorite places to go. If I had money and went there it would probably be dangerous for me. I would but sooooo much.they have the coolest toolbox ever and great prices on everything.

This was my first visit here and I was going in for one specific item. Because of COVID-19, I did not spend time browsing. From what I could see, they have a wide variety of items. It seemed well organized and everything was neat and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I purchased a large item which they brought to the curb and helped me load into the car. Every time I go to this store there is always a problem. You cant just go in there and buy something, you got to stand in the check out line for half an hour because thats how long it takes 2 cashiers to check out 4 people. Its Home Depot from now on not this general dollar tool shack.

I love HF.....the prices a drastic difference on tool from your big box stores. Ive gotten a lot of smaller tools and necessities from them rather than HD or Lowes.

Terrible location, set very far back from the street in a shopping center with few surviving neighbors. All this means this location usually has the best inventory in stock and best customer service.

Inside track club a waste of money. You’re better off shopping with coupons. They don’t apply anything to your account even when you walk in on a members event. Then they send out emails talking about it just to rub in your face what you didn’t get. So frustrating I’d rather shop at another store then give this one anymore of my money or time.

Follow up to my previous post got my paperwork dated 1/15/2021 instead of dec 8 2020 which was my appt date. they got documents they requested the very same day. my ?? why lead folks on about what u do.payment approved feb 11 2021. today is march 26 2021 gas company alleges they still dont have my payment yet. I have never had so many problems with getting payments to utilities as I have this year. they want to blame covid but they never interacted w any civilians. and we r still waiting on payment months later. will b glad when brookhollow opens back up here in norcross where something get done right 4 a change.

Very little help poor customer service. That you would not honor their own coupon for a 20% discount off a $6 item. Bad attitudes all around. Very cheaply made Chinese items quality around 2%. I will not go back, they have lost a customer forever.

Great customer service from a friendly staff! They have a wide range of tools at amazingly good prices. They arent all tool truck professional quality, but they get the job done. It is less expensive to buy a specialty tool here than to pay labor for a repair. If the tool just lasts through a few repairs, and many last longer, you end up way ahead on the cost front.

Took them a while to find what was put on hold for me. But everybody was polite and nice and helpful.

I had the worst experience here. I had asked for help and Jennifer was so rude and when I went to pay I noticed Jennifer has no customer service skills. If she doesn’t like to deal with people she’s better off not working.

Working hours on website and stores are different. On their site says close at 7pm but I got to store at 6:05 pm and its close.

The store has been reorganized and its super clean. Wasnt very busy which was nice, and the employees were quick to help.

I called the store at the Lilburn location to check on an item. I was connected with Faye and just when I was describing to her what I was looking for, she demands I hold on twice in the middle of my conversation and puts me on hold to check on what she thinks I asked and immediately after the hold she says it is not available. Just before I can ask if she has any alternatives available she just ends the call. If this is how rude the manager of the store is, then just imagine the in-person customer service. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

While the prices have gone up some, the quality of the tools have increased as well. Looks like the management of this location is on track. The store has been expanded and is kept very well organized. The workers always seem to be hustling around to help the customers.

Ordered a jack online, and it was not working. Returned it to this location to switch it out, and received the BEST customer service. Faye was manager on duty, and Lisa was the associate to assist us. They both were eager to help, and we were in and out. They were great! This location is the best! Maybe the staff at Lilburn can train the rude staff at Buford. We will definitely return to the Lilburn location for all of our tool needs.

We have been using this location since it opened. What is not to like about Harbor Freight; really nothing. Budget tools, equipment, and gear for almost anything. It is the best place to pickup that tool you will only use sometimes when brand names are several hundred dollars. Consumable material, get it here. Why pay more?

The prices where good but not really what was great in its variety of unique items that you sometimes have to costume order them at other places. Then out check out they had face sholds to keep the person and cashier getting sick good see that installed.

FAY and CARMELLA!!!! After my local Douglasville store done me wrong (RUDE on phone AND in person) My partner went to the one by his job after I called and spoke to Fay, and she quickly and e efficiently answered and secured my items, he went to this store and was helped by EVERYONE he came in contact with. Then at the register when he was informed by CARMELLA that he had the wrong item for the coupon, she instantly got some one to get the correct item. AWESOME customer service!!!!!

This place is always busy on the weekends. Make sure to look out for their coupons to save you some money. They will not have them in store. Just download then to your phone. I wasnt sure where the item I wanted was located in the Harbor Freight store. Upon entry, a greeter/cashier directed me to my item straight away. When I checked out, I paid half price from a coupon given by the cashier. Not a bad trip at all.

Every Time I come here, I end up buying more than what I came for. and worker here are friendly and love to help you save money, they tell you about the coupons and if dont have any they give you some from the register. Oh, and if you become an Inside track Member you can even save more money on new tools and you get notified first on great sales that are coming up. Youll see me around their buying something!

This is one of my favorite places to pick up tools that will be used occasionally. Good prices. I just have such fun checking out hardwares. My first visit to a Harbor Freight store was in Florida with my 94 yr. Old Aunt. We had such a great time. We laughed all through our shopping trip. We found so many things I needed for several projects that were planned. And she found flashlights and wooden puzzles for her Christmas gifts for her great grand kids.

Had what I needed and, like always, plenty of items just magically ended up in my cart for purchase. Many tools may not be the highest quality, but for occasional use they are sufficient. Prices are always great, especially with the coupons.Checkouts can take a while during weekends or special events, but is acceptable.

My strategy for harbor freight is to shop with a super coupon and a 20% off coupon and buy a couple of items every so often. You can get unbelievable values with the super coupons. The us general roller cabinets, hercules tool bags, utility knives, and hand tools are fine for most uses.

Harbor Freight is great! Be wary of buying anything heavy duty. Everything that you need that is designed to be throw away is excellent. I have bought many things for dirt cheap that have really surprised me. The staff will help you find whatever you need. Every tool you could ever need is in this store. They will send you a sales paper with 20% off, free tools, sale days and really great deals. Its amazing what you can find in here. They are by far the best place to buy safety equipment, painting equipment, grinding and sanding equipment. They carry many tools that are the same tools as major brands marketed to Harbor Freight. Go here before you waste your money at Lowes or Home Depot.

Its like a hardware store in a home Depot but in between. What I mean by that is is less expensive than Home Depot but doesnt have quite the things you need that you would find at a hardware store. Dont get me wrong this place is great and has some great deals with good strong goods for sale. You can purchase warranties at the register and its easy to get to. But if you need a loan screw or Bolt you need to go to a hardware store which I think theres only one in Lilburn at least close to my house. Good luck
