Quality of the produce is unpredictable. Sometimes they have wonderful items at a great price other times the produce borders on inedible. For young people employed at the front end are efficient and friendly. Pray you don’t need to visit the restroom though you’re better off Heading to the gas station across the street.

A bit smaller selection overall than other jewel oscos for produce. Seafood is pretty good here.

This store doesnt carry a lot of major brands, but the brands they do have are good and well priced. You also have to bag your own groceries.

My main grocery stop! Usually stocked well stocked. Occasionally the produce section is a bit picked over in the afternoon, but I always see people there to replenish. I use the app and love finding extra ways to save $

This store in mundelein is closer to my house and love to go and do the grocery customer service is awesome and especially the store managers or shift leaders whatever you call they are the best helping you right over there before you leave the door so I strongly tell all my fellow friends and neighborhood people that this mundelein Jewel-Osco or Libertyville one the best stores to go and do your grocery or whatever you looking for go at these locations and find out yourself how good they are

The jewel-osco staff went above and beyond today! I couldnt find a bag of shredded cabbage, so i told the cashier during checkout and she did everything possible to get it for me.

Helpful, and conspicuously clean. Noticed especially during the pandemic - they work hard to make shopping safe and organized. Great Pharmacy staff too.

This one is almost as bad as the Walmart in fountain square.

I shop at both Jewel & Marianos because neither has everything I like. Marianos has a better bakery. Both run sales I try to take advantage of. Both are quality groceries.

Jewel has done an excellent job of making it easy to order online and pickup outside the store. They should be commended for helping us to minimize our exposure to the virus.

Same old same old. This is always a busy location. I go there all the time, from early to closing time, depending on whats going on that day. The grocery selection is pretty good, and Jewel runs some great sales (if you join their club to catch the discount) but this particular location is kinda run down. It does irk me that corporate spent a small fortune a few years back setting up the location across town, in the nice section of Mundelein, and wont apparently spend a penny on this locations upkeep. Not scary bad, but the bathrooms are like a truck stop in Iowa.

I Do not like this place. There were a few staff who were not helpful or willing. I dont know how many florists they have but 2 were there that day and One of the florists was terrible and very rude but the other one was very nice and tried to help, thank you to her sweet lady. I will never go back to that jewel

Libertyville is friendlier than Grayslake location. Eventhough I live in Grayslake, I still prefer to go to Libertyville.

Horrible went to change coins waited 10 mins or more and noone did anything about it until i went to the register and then that lady said she couldn’t do it there so rude when last time a person did it there on the register for me with no problem and got yelled at 2 times horrible wont come back.

Great grosser y store

Its Christmas every grocery store is a hot mess grumpy shoppers, items out of stock. The five stars are for the store employees somehow they keep smiling, despite everything.

My family has been going to Jewel-Osco in Libertyville for 35 some years ever since parkway foods went out of business. Even though Libertyville has many very nice grocery stores we seem to always come back to Jewel-Osco on Milwaukee Avenue.

The female manager at this location is completely unprofessional. When i asked her a simple question she explained it one time and got very angry and rude when i did not understand. Instead of explaining it once more she rolled her eyes and sbooed me away. I will never shop at this location again.

Maybe its the Pandemic bringing out the creativity in people. But the selection of greeting cards is entertaining again.

Always open when I need it to be. Spacious for COVID wary folks like myself. Super helpful staff that is there to rescue you if you have trouble with self checkout. Only minor thing is difficulty finding nestle cream.

No matter what I always liked Jewel,friendly or not,but I always found what I needed, yeah they might have long lines but its worth it as long you have your food!!!!

Interesting how the store is set up. The soy sauce wasnt in the condiment isle (although its gluten free supplement . . . amino acid something was). I found it in the asian section of the store.

Better deals when you have rewards and coupons (on sale items especially).

They do not care if you wear a mask or not they will not enforce mask usage or even ask you to put one on. If you care about your health then go somewhere else for your groceries.

This Jewel is clean, bright and well stocked and offers a variety of groceries. The meats are satisfactory. Although the produce is well stocked I find fresher and more ethnic varieties of produce at other stores. There are good deals to be had if you shop the sales. Pick up a Jewel flyer and get to know the prices of your usual buys.

My favorite store

This store has over charged us so many times. Sometimes its scanning an item more than the quantity we have. Sometimes its just been items that we never even purchased. We dont shop here that often, just when its on our way, and the fact that its become a pattern is not ok.

Food is great! Love their coffee particularly. Seating area is particularly useful. Highly recommended.

The employees are very nice and willing to help. The only issues are sometimes produce is moldy and not checked properly. Other than that, the sales they run are pretty good!

This is a pretty good store, but they seem to be discontinuing products that I normally buy such as bulk products including nuts, Amys vegetarian chili (2 types), several yogurt flavors, and similar items that make it worth the trip. Its frustrating because it forces you to shop elsewhere for the somewhat unique products.

I shop here often, and I wish I could say I love it, but I dont. Store is usually poorly stocked especially in meat and produce sections; I end up at Marianos across the street for those items. Most cashiers are friendly, however the baggers suck (smashed bread, cleaners mixed in with produce, I mean come on its not rocket science but these baggers are horrible)

Obviously prices are much higher than prior to vivid lock down. Especially on needed products.

Great place for quick food that you need and bbq.
