The Lexington School of Music is an important part of my life and my children. We all began violin lessons and my son ventured to guitar lessons with Mr. Alec. My son is now in college and continues the lessons with Mr. Alec and loves the experience! My girls and I have truly loved working with Mrs. Emily for the violin lessons! She is patient, kind, a great instructor and fun! As an adult learner, Mrs. Emily has been amazing for me! She answers all my questions and is helping me to develop into a real violinist. Her encouragement helped me to perform in my first recital, something I would have never done on my own! I am so excited about what I am learning! I highly recommend the Lexington School of Music!

Though I am older adult who wanted to finally learn guitar, the staff has been so nice, professional and accommodating. It is a slow and hard process but my instructor has been so patient and understanding. And, I am learning so much!

Excellent instruction. Emily has been teaching our daughter electric guitar since June of 2019. We have seen quite a bit of progress in that time, and the lessons seem to be the bright spot during the pandemic.

In many business, theres often a looseness where theres a lack of consistency or confidence among the workers. In LSM, everyone knows what to do and how to do it, and how to handle the unexpected. Its a tight ship! I especially love the priority that LSM places on student safety.

Everything has been great! Love the positive atmosphere, the focus on students enjoying the lesson, and the attention to detail by the administrative staff. My son loves having Tommy for drum lessons.

As an adult student with many family and work commitments, my attendance and practice has been irregular at best. My teacher, Emily, is always cheerful and supportive and patient with this slack student. The relaxation and enjoyment I get out of these lessons is incomparable.

I chose Lexington School of Music because I heard my voice teacher, Megan Miller, singing karaoke just like Mariah Carey! I asked her how she sang so well and effortlessly and she said she was a voice teacher. I told her right then (years ago), when I could afford lessons, I was going to her and only her. She is not only a talented singer, she is super sweet and encouraging. She is an amazing singer, teacher and just a great human in general. I am so happy to work with her and so blessed to know her! Everyone at the front desk is friendly and has all the information I need. Everything works smoothly and is well organized. I really appreciate that there is a system for paying and making up missed lessons and there are very clear expectations set from the start.

My children have been attending Lexington School of Music for over 3 years now and they still LOVE it! The teachers are so energetic and fun. They feel like part of the family. The kids look forward to lessons all week and practice without any prodding from me. They are learning songs that they choose and are excited about. The recitals are held twice a year and are actually fun (and painless!). They run in hour increments so you only sit through 20 or so students instead of 200. Its brilliant! We love taking music lessons here and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Teachers and front desk are extremely friendly and professional. My kids love Jason and Emily. They are learning drum/guitar quite well and are excited each week.

I have had 8 guitar teachers in the past and never meshed well with any of them. Garrett is the absolute best. I love him as a teacher and have progressed with him in my short time at LSoM than with all others combined. Hes agreat guy and the best instructor ever

My child is learning substantive music theory from piano teacher Miss Lisa Chrurchya. Shes very knowledgable. She invites us to watch her university recitals and performances that are just magical to experience. Guitar teacher Alec Adelson is great. The secretaries are very kind and helpful. Parking is plentiful. I park and read under a tree while lessons are in progress. LSM is great.
