I love visiting Salvation Army stores in general. First of all, the staff is very helpful and respectful. Second I like the idea that shopping here makes a difference in some other people lives. I usually shop here for wall art, framed paintings. I’ve had the luck to find some true germs to add to my collection. I shop the glassware section. Sometime I find unique pieces of normal or Crystal regular, wine, beer or whiskey glasses. I’ve also picked up a couple of old tennis rackets to recondition and add to my collection of rackets. If you are in the area, don’t hesitate to check this store out.
This is one of my most favorite thrift stores ever! My husband and I love coming here... I also wanted to include that every time we come here, there is a worker by the name of Adam in the furniture dept. that ALWAYS takes care of us. He is the kindest, most customer friendly service member of this store and Salvation Army in Lewisville should be THANKFUL for such a great employee and staff. We look forward to seeing Adam every time we go. :)
I love this thrift store. This place is HUGE and clean. They have a good selection of pretty much everything. I highly recommend!
First time I visit the store, very friendly people, the cashier so lovely and helpful I definitely will come back !! Everything is organize by colors 🙂🌻
I donated furniture and they didn’t tell me until they got here that they wouldn’t take a dresser. They gave me a 3 hour pick up window and came 2 hours early. Everyone I dealt with was extremely rude. Try to find another place that will appreciate your donations if possible.
Staff was extremely rude and combative almost immediately upon arriving in the store. Do not support this greedy crooked company Who has a CEO that makes millions of dollars a year!
I walked into the store in a great mood laughing with my friend, and the miserable manager stopped my conversation and yelled at me because I was not wearing a mask which is not required any more per the governor of the state. Let the people take back the power and not support the companies that don’t support your rights.
I understand they donated and help the community whereas some clothes and items are more expensive than Walmart.
Great management, friendly staff, very helpful. Love it there
I love going to the Salvation Army Lewisville ! The staff are always very nice and helpful. I usually always find some great bargains too!!
This store is super clean and the staff is phenomenal. The warehouse people have my respect and gratitude. The gentleman at the donation area is a true asset to this organization.Amazing!
Nice ambience, fantastic and friendly staffs.
Great prices, alot there...
The most rude staff. Pushed me out the door and used hateful words I will not be back
You just never know what you will find. The store is clean and fairly well organized. Plenty of staff to greet you and help out. $2 CDs, books on CD, and computer games.
Great finds and customer service
Worst donation center. Donated plenty of boxes that were fragile with plates and glassware and the gentleman at the receiving dock, James, just threw the boxes. We heard them all break and he just kept throwing the boxes. We donated to Salvation Army so these items could go to families in need. If I had known these would be treated with little care I would’ve donated to another place.
Good customer service, lots of clothing items organized, not only by size, but also by colors, and the furniture offered was obviously used but gently. The changing rooms were clean and not cluttered by clothes left behind by prior customers. Besides mirrors in each changing room, there was a three- paneled mirror that gave you a more complete picture of how your potential purchase looked on you. Prices were good, of course.
I had the most amazing experience at the Lewisville location. The store was clean, fresh, organized and neatly stocked. The furniture was in new or near new condition. The staff and volunteers were so kind and helpful...they seemed genuinely happy to help me and thanked me multiple times for stopping in. I received first class service...like better than the service I would have received from the from the furniture store many of their pieces come from. I had the pleasure of speaking with the store manager who I personally witnessed picking up and keeping the store front neat and tidy. What impressed me most was the manager was dressed in a dress shirt and tie with trousers...in the Texas heat, but he still worked as hard as his staff. Mr. Sylvester shared with me all the amazing work and the Salvation Army is doing for the community, its history and how his life has been changed in the many years hes been with the company. I left having made new friends, with the dining room table Ive searched 3 states for, a fabulous king sized bed, and too many other treasures to list. I also left with an invitation to visit often and a desire to offer my time and talents to serve my new community.
Good selection of things especially furniture. FYI the donation drop off closes at 4pm.
Organized and cleaned with friendly staff. Furniture was a little bit overpriced.
They had a good variety and selection of pretty much everything. The employees were extremely nice.
They will be open on Oct 27. They are located in the closed Office Depot building in the old Vista Ridge shopping center. I talked with several of the employees setting up the new store. They were helpful and gracious. You will be able to buy items here and give donations here. You can also call for a truck pickup of your donations. I can testify how great an organization this is after experiencing a six foot flood in our home and eating from their food trucks during our repairs.
Best prices, new stuff every week.
Awesome thrift store. The store is very well organized, things are neatly laid out. The store is clean and light. I really like this shop! God bless you!
Great deals but customer service could be better and they really need an app or loyalty program.
This is the best place for suits and jackets
My first visit to the store was awesome! It was very clean and organized the setup was eye catching. The customer service was excellent .
Had worst experience there today, the cashier was an old lady that was so rude to me! Never felt like this before. I never want to come back
Clean, friendly, okay prices.
Sylvestre is store manager-was constantly on sales floor to introduce himself and offer assistance to shoppers. The place is well organized, clean. (Rivals some of the stores in the mall across the parking lot!)
Large selection, but very expensive. I was shocked by the prices!
Love this place Especially farmers branch location.. if you need-some cost-efficient furniture & they’ll have it
Great variety, great service, friendly, and I like how they put out clothes. Easy to find. So glad they are here.
Good deals to be found
I always get great customer service, loveeee the people there. 🥰
Its 50% off every Wednesday. The store carries a good amount of decent furniture.
Looked at a piece of furniture, told the Sylvester we needed to measure the tv legs and make sure it would fit, left for an hour and when I got back to the store he said he sold it 45 minutes ago after telling me he wouldnt put it on the floor and I could get it the next day.
LoVe shopping here with my kids great prices and neat👌
One of my favorite thrift stores.
Hands down, favorite thrift shop! I have been so many times since it has been opened!!
Bought a couch with scabies in it, 3 family members now each fighting an outbreak. Buying furniture your going to sleep or sit on? JUST DONT DO IT.
A great variety
Great drive up drop off
Everyone is very friendly at this store!
Friendly, smiling associates.
Extremely expensive
Clean and friendly
There are two ladies who are very moody and straightforward, they serve you very rudely
Very good store I recommend them
Excellent
