My husband had his radiator hose blow on the way to work yesterday and happened to be right here and he went in and they helped him out, they were super nice really affordable and straightforward which is sometimes hard to find. We will definitely be coming back for our car needs. I highly recommend.
I live in Greensboro which is two hours away. Worked with Lori over the phone and the experience was amazing. I was pre approved so everything was hassle free. They even brought my 2015 Nissan Armada in January to my front door. Never experienced that before. Im always recommending them. Thanks so much guys. You all are the best. Teressa Jones.
Absolutely amazing place to buy a car. Michael was so fantastic and everyone we talked to while we were there was so friendly and welcoming. We even got to meet the owner, Barbara, who was so sweet and kind. We got an amazing deal on my dream car, and definitely recommend this place.... even if you have to drive 2 hours to get there, like we did. It is worth it!!!
I found my dream car online and it just happened to be at Rooster Bush Automotive dealership, which was 2 hours away. Well, It turned out to be the best car buying experience Ive ever had and well worth the drive! Joe was patient with all my email questions and the actual purchase was a breeze. They even let me take the auto to a nearby mechanic to have it checked out before I purchased it. I highly recommend these guys and gals if you are looking for the perfect auto for you and your family. :-)
They were polite professional and quick. I took my jeep in for an oil change and was surprised how quickly they had it done. Ive been other places where I was there for 45 minutes or more even with an appointment.
Couldnt have had a better place to shop.. these are very great people to go see and to work with. I would recommend you all to them. Give them a try... you wont regret.
I Had My Oil Changed Their Today I Had An Appointment And It Was Done On Time. I recommend that you go there to have work done for your car. I Love them.
Had my oil changed....tires rotated....check up....always great job... dont have to wait very long...if you have a problem they will get you in as soon as possible...Great job Guys..
Sold me a car an just found out today after driving about 40000 my transmission needs to be replaced. I feel cheated and now have no idea how to fix this issue. I do not recommend buying a vehicle from them at all.
These guys are amazing, they took the time to really figure out what was going on with the front end of my truck that was causing severe tire degradation and fixed it right. My Chevy had been to several garages including another dealers garage and none of them ever got the alignment right. Thanks Rooster!
Abandoned car lot, pretty cool.
Prompt and friendly service. They will install replacement parts that you have already purchased. So far I have had great service and they are not very expensive.
Im not to happen with the service department. I thermostat bolt broken off. They re tip the bolt and made it bigger. Plus I had them to inspection my truck. I Chris told me it be less than $100. Plus I know I had to pay for Keen Towing at $75. The bill was $238. They charged me $115 to re tip bolt and make it bigger. I can understand if it was $40I had to call my wife get more money before they started on my truck. That money was for other bills. With me take care of my mom with bladder cancer and fracture to lower back and one income coming in. That hurt us.
Please do not take your vehicle to this place now that things have changed they try to rip you off...they wouldnt inspection my van because they said my taillight was lose. The light wasnt broken took it down the road to another place didnt have an issue ...they also took two weeks to replace a part that was still under warranty for my boyfriend and then they replaced it with a part from a junkyard when he paid for a brand new part
I spoke with Dean, he was super friendly and got me out over $300 cheaper than the previous place. Very honest and hard working people.
I love Lora! Lora is the best person to work with! She will do anything for you! This place is super pricey tho. I cant afford it.
Good people. Great deals. See Dale for your best deal!
I love their service department. Very reasonable prices and excellent work. My 79 year old mother took her 2000 Malibu to a major Hickory dealer for a noise in the rear. She was told she needed a complete brake overhaul of rear brakes and the cost would be $450. Bush quoted $175 for the same job but when they started discovered the rear brakes in like new condition and the repair was unnecessary. They only charged 20$ to clean and adjust all four brakes. They are awesome and made me look good to Mom.
Chris was VERY prompt in responding to my e mail inquiry and when I submitted my financing application, I heard back from Chris right away with the approval terms. Chris explained the instrumentation very carefully and Jeff was friendly and clear in going over the financing details. Without exception, I was impressed with the professionalism and the passion that each employee showed in their work and the commitment that each showed in establishment a relationship with me as a customer. I can recommend this dealership without reservation!
I have been a very satisfied customer. Great service after the sale. Barbara, Rooster Bush would be very proud of you. I look forward to doing business with 🐓 Rooster Bush Automotive 🐓 again, in the future.
My family has taken our cars to Rooster for several years now. They do a quick, honest, well-priced job. They keep in contact with you so there are no surprises at the end when you get the bill. Chris and his guys in the service department will keep are business.
Very happy with my experience there. I like doing business with a dealership that goes above and beyond to make it happen. Big thanks to everyone at Rooster Bush.
This dealership is great. They will go out of their way to help you if you need a vehicle give them a try this is my 2nd vehicle through them and they where great both times. 7/18/2018 Just had my car fixed and was just updating about how it was All I can say Jeff the mechanic that worked on my car is really great at what he does my car runs perfect now just like it just came off the factory show room floor he makes sure everything is put back the exact way it came off and clean. Barbara is a blessing she is the owner she makes sure you are done right she goes above and beyond to make her customers happy I cant say thank you anough Im very happy you will not find a better used car dealership/Garage thanks Rooster Bush
I got the oil changed in my car.. Good price.. It was Hot in the waiting room... needs to be a little bit cooler...
Great place to purchase a New or Pre-owned vehicle! Everyone there is very friendly and willing to help with anything. Rooster Bush Automotive has been there for almost sixty years and its easy to understand how.Auto Dealers of this caliber are very few and very far between!!!
This is for their lot in Whitnel..REALLY PEOPLE...4.O +....I stopped up there (cash in hand) and because I havent lived here for 20+ years .....wouldnt even talk to me...to quote the gentleman rooster only like to deal with people who have lived here forever........ok may not have been forever but Ive been here more then 12 years....get real folks....and by the way....Rooster is dead...and has been for a good while....rest his soul....he was a good man project vehicle or not....Ill never buy anything from there ..not even a used part
Absolutely LOVE Rooster Bush & their whole team especially Megan!! She is absolutely the best! Shes so sweet, warmhearted & genuine with all she does for you as a customer. She went to bat for me to make sure I got in the car I wanted (2007 Camry with only 71,000 miles) within my price range & budget dealing with my not so good credit & made it happen for me!! We corresponded with one another via email 24hrs after I found & contacted them through Carguru. She replied back to me quickly & once I told her what I was searching for & my price range, she was on it & from that point on, we stayed in contact with one another via email then through our personal cell phones texting & calling. She sent me the car fax with no hesitation, explained everything to me & as I said, she worked hard & diligently for me. She made a promise to me & I promise you, she made sure she kept that! None of that switch & bait crap, fast car salesman talk, over pushiness at all that you find at most dealerships. Nothing but true genuine care & best interest for you not for her & her business! The owner Barbara was a doll, so sweet & kind. Everyone over there is so welcoming, pleasant & genuine, they work their hardest to make sure you get in your car you want & within your price range & budget! I could go on & on about how WONDERFUL they all are at Rooster Bush, but I think yall get the point by now! :) My car runs GREAT, I love my payments, I have a warranty & it got checked out & is in excellent condition! If youre looking for an honest place to purchase a car, please go see them & ask for Megan! You will NOT be disappointed!! She is a pure, sweet, beautiful, sincere, honest GEM of a woman & saleswoman!!
Awesome service and great place to get things done right.
The first repair cost me around $300. Too expensive for radiator work but I didnt have the time to do It myself. It wasnt but a little while later when I took my car back in for similar problems. They had my car for two months, claiming they were waiting on a part that was backordered. In the end, that was a lie. One of many I received during my horrid experience with this inferior company. When they finally got around to noticing my car was still sitting there, they fixed it. Or at least I thought they did. After 7 weeks, my brother-in-law called to check on the car to see when it would be getting done due to the fact I was borrowing his spare vehicle for my day-to-day transport. They had told him it was fixed that very day, one week before I called to check up on it again. I never received a phone call or message about it being fixed. Of course, they told me that they had called and left a message. Still waiting on that message and missed phone call to pop up on my phone. I picked my car up spending nearly $800 for a couple parts that cost around $200 for the pair when at a relatively higher-end price. I knew I was ripped off yet again but was grateful to have my own car back without having to trouble myself with fixing it in the free time I do not have. Working 55-60 hours a week and being a single father doesnt allow me to do my own mechanic work anymore, but I am experienced with the field. Two days later, my car broke down on the way to work. 7 minutes from my house in 31 degree weather. I checked the oil to discover there was NONE in it. They had charged me for an oil and filter change! If it was leaking at that rate then They definitely should have caught that. But I doubt the checked it at all and doubt even less that They changed it. The filter is the same one i put on it 5 months ago! They towed it back to their shop to test the motor over the weekend. I had a blown head gasket for sure and ended up having a cracked engine block as well. The head mechanic, Chris, told me that the radiator fan wires were hooked up backwards and that was the reason the motor had blown. Trying to pawn the blame on the previous mechanic 2 years ago. Another lie. As ridiculous as that was, I told him I wanted it fixed because I had paid for it to be fixed. He failed to mention or even remember telling me this excuse over the phone in the sit-down meeting with myself and Barbara Bush, the owner. Another lie. He filled the engine block over that weekend to check for leaks. Afterward, the owner called me to inform me that there was indeed oil in my car after they had checked for it. Thing is, in order for Chris to have performed the test for a crack in my engine block, he would have had to drain the oil out. This reveals yet another lie. He had put oil in it to cover his negligence and the owner couldnt figure that out. Barbara Bush assured me that it was none of their doing or negligence and the company held no responsibility for replacing or fixing my car in any way. Over $1,000 spent on repairs from Rooster Bush and they killed my car for all that money. Thats 2 weeks pay for me. They either have no idea what they are doing or they are extremely negligent in their auto care. I have suffered at the hands of mechanics before but these guys have beaten all Ive ever seen or heard of in the world of auto mechanics. Terrible!!!I wouldnt trust this company to fix a cup of coffee. If their cars on the lot were prepped by the mechanic shop to sell to the public, you will be asking for an expensive lemon. No possible way they sell any decent cars at this place. There isnt even a term to express my disgust with every single part of my experience here. I highly and severely recommend any other place at all. They have no accountability for their mistakes and will blame everything on anyone else, when its extremely obvious they were to blame.Keep in mind, this is a highlighted story and doesnt even cover all of the lies I was told and stresses i was put through within the couple months I dealt with these careless criminals.
Got an oil change at a very good price
If I had the choice of giving this so called dealership no stars I would have. My son and I just moved to Lenior. We had lived in the Springs Road area all our lives and had a good mechanic in that area. We moved to the Lenior area to be near my daughter. Being new to the area we had no idea where to take our cars for any repairs or maintenance work. In September my sons car needed repairing. It broke down near Rooster Bush so he decided to take it there. After them having the car almost a month and $300 dollars later he finally gets it back. At the end of November/ beginning December, it breaks down again doing the exact same thing. This time having to be towed to Rooster Bush, he tells them to please just get it fixed. All this time he is having to borrow my daughters extra car for transportation to his job. Over another month later he finally just stops by to see what they are doing to the car. One of the mechanics there told him this time that it had been ready for a couple of weeks. He told Tyler that he had talked to his brother-in-law on the phone when he had called to check on the progress of Tylers car and told him it was ready. He assumed his brother-in-law would have told him! What?!! So to the tune of almost $900, he drove his car to work and back the next day. He started to work the second day and boom, car smoked, dead on the side of the road, he had to pull it to the side quickly hitting a gaint pothole. Then had to walk 2 miles to get to work. My daughter had been wanting to sell their extra car so now I am out of a car going on over 2 weeks. Now they are telling him he will have to have a motor! That there wasnt a drop of oil in it when they started looking!!!!! Now common sense would tell you that IF they checked out the car, fixed the car, took almost $1200 total out of a mans pocket saying it was fixed .....how the devil do you blame the owner for no oil in the car! I am worse than appalled at the sorry service of Rooster Bush! Yes they sell cars, but if they get them in, work on the them in their garage, I would hate to buy one just to have it blow up one day later! My son met with the owner to try to get justice for what they did or did not do just for her response to be it isnt their fault..... Hum...... Im telling you do not buy a car there.... Do NOT have your car worked on there..... Not even an oil change!!!!!! They are getting rich off trusting, Christian poor people. What they need to know is retiring from the NC education system, my daughter working in law enforcement, all the friends and relatives we all have, word of mouth goes a long.....way! My son has to have the car towed to our home which we have plans of advertising the horrible work of Rooster Bush all over the body, once fixed driving around Lenior and surrounding cities. Beware consumers, run as fast away as you can! Oh and by way, the times they worked on my sons car they never gave him an itemized statement on what they had did which it frustrates me he had not ask for one and.... He always pays in cash....hum... Makes you wonder.....right? Since this has happened to us weve been talking to alot of people, even other service departments and car dealerships in the area. They all have said some very interesting things.... Notice the owner, Barbara Bush, hasnt commented on my review trying to keep our business. Maybe we need to lawyer up like weve been advised to. Weve been told also to contact Channel 9 Action News to look into it which a letter has been sent already. Thanks for reading!C. GunsleyUpdate: My son has posted more reviews in places and Barbara Bush the owner had a few things to say underneath. She said he neglected to mention the year or mileage of the car. Like is that suppose to make a difference? It didnt when they took his money saying it was fixed! Also that he bottomed out the car. News flash, when something goes bang and pours smoke from the hood its not like you have a lot of time or visibility of where your going to pull it off the road! To me that just verified our complaint.
Very pleased with my experience at Rooster Bush today. Will definitely return.
Pretty good service but they were pretty busy that day which meant I was there for a while
Great place reasonable prices worth my drive to get there honest work
I bought a 2012 vw jetta from rooster bush in November of last year, I think its a great car, dont get me wrong but why sell a car at your dealership if you cannot service certain issues with said Vehicle? For example, my transmission pan busted and when I called to bring it in, I was told that Id have to take it to the Volkswagen dealership in hickory because they couldnt repair a simple problem such as this. Just recently I called about an oil leak that I had and was told that they would give me a call back about my issue, they never called back and Ive since called twice with no answer. Im very upset with my decision in choosing rooster bush. Not only have they not contacted me about my issue but it turns out that one reason I was losing oil is because when I took them for a simple oil change, the didnt put my oil filter on straight and caused me to lose even more oil gradually over time. Id like for them to either recognize me as a paying customers instead of someone they can try to take advantage of, otherwise Ill surrender my vehicle and take my hard earned money elsewhere.

*****BUYER BEWARE***** THIS DEALERSHIP SOLD A VEHICLE AND SAID IT HAD A CLEAN CARFAX. WE PURCHASED IT. ONLY TO FIND OUT LATER, IT HAD BEEN WRECKED; WITH BOTH AIRBAGS DEPLOYED.
