My husband took a vehicle to this location to get it lined up & an oil change. Never again!! You can clearly see the oil housing was NEVER touched *see photo. Also charged us for services they didn’t provide. He went back to the office and the manager offered a refund, but the refund that showed up on our card didn’t even cover the false service. Very disappointed that this company tries to make profit off of trusting consumers. I would hate to think if I didn’t have someone able to go behind these folks to jack up the car and check the work.

If I could do no stars I would! We have posted a review on this shop. They seem to have a long line of dissatisfied customers whom have been overcharged, lied to about work done and rude and unprofessional behavior. Looks like corporate would at least clean up this mess. But when I spoke with corporate office they were just as rude and unprofessional. Beware of Mr.Tire company!!!! They are shade tree mechanics and dishonest, rude, and unprofessional. Not to mention some of the mechanics will bully you when you complain about their work.

Went in for an oil and filter change, also to check all fluids. Couple days later I had to remove the air breather for some work. Found a large rat nest inside next to filter. Next I noticed my break fluid was low, oil was 1/2 quart low and radiator water was low.No one evidently checked anything and I seriously doubt the oil was changed but cannot prove it.

In the past I have always gotten good service but have called ahead to schedule appointments 3 times in the last 3 weeks and can never get my vehicle in when I arrive. I have waisted roughly 2 days time waiting here to finally leave and being told when to be back to get my vehicle in. I still havent gotten my vehicle in to be worked on.

Took my wife’s 2015 outlander to have the oil changed and brakes looked at. They for some reason decided to take the air filter out AND NOT PUT IT BACK IN! She told me the car was louder than before and her gas mileage was dropping and i looked under the hood to see the air filter casing open, air filter gone and when she called a man named Kyle talked to her with a condescending attitude and told her they didn’t have the air filter and even asked if she was sure she didn’t mess with it. We took it back to get a supposed new one and they gave us her old one back.

We took our car in and it was running. When we went to pick it up we were told the car was no longer running because they had mistakenly ran it with out putting oil back in. They put a used motor in that didnt work as well.I was also threatened by one of the mechanics there.BEWARE!!!!

These people are extremely rude My boyfriend went it to have his car tires rotated from the front to the back Because he had better tires on the front and he wanted the better tires on the back they didnt tell him that he would need an alignment done now his back tires are worn out on the insides we will never be returning to this mr tire.

Absolutely disgusting work done. I went in for a simple tire alignment and the incompetent so called mechanics should never touch a car again. I work on my own cars so when I went to inspect their work I knew what I was dealing with. They completely undid my tie rod ends to where I did a better job aligning the car in my driveway then they did with their equipment. I strongly do not recommend this shop.

I went in to have my front wheels rotated to the back of my car and they completely forgot to do the passenger side then when confronted them about it they got mad and told me they switched them. Told me I didnt need an alignment now my back wheels are shot on the inside of my wheels. Very upset with this place!!!! I will never bring back none of my vehicle here again!!!!!

Not sure what has happened since Mr tire took over but Im not pleased. Is this the kind of work you put out here.Was this a scam to make my wife bring her car back because of a bad sound? How can you do something like this. I truly hope this was an accident. But IMO I think it was purposely done to make more money. I dropped a set of wheels and tires of to be mounted at 10am, i was told i would get a phone call when they were done with them. I said great thanks and went on, time passed by without a phone call so i went by to see if they just forgot to call me or something. It was 2pm at this time, the wheels and tires werent moved from where i unloaded them, i asked an employee when someone was gonna get to it, and he said he was about to start on them. Then he proceeds to pull another car in and starts on it. 4 hours is more than enough time to take tires off of wheels and put different tires back on. 1/10 would not recommend

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went into this so called business today to get an estimate on 1 leaking radiator line and s/w Kyle. This young man gave me an estimate for the whole housing part and all of the lines that comes with it, while stating that its the only way to fix the leak from 1 line...WRONG!!!!! I proceeded to look for another estimate and as I checked my phone I realized that the next door neighbor, Faws Automative was a mechanic shop as well. I received the estimate for 1 line and more than half the price less of Kyles estimate. This place practices dishonestly, do not use them. (see Faws Automative for pat 2 of this review)

Absolutely rip off....my wife had 2 tires plugged...they charged her$60 to plug 2 tires. Most anywhere else that would have been$8-$15 per tire. Never will go there again and absolutely do not recommend

Had my vehicle aligned here at a price already $40 more than any other shop and I thought that meant quality along with the reviews not being bad either but it ended up being a terrible job. Still not aligned properly and having issues. Maybe a bad day or a bad job for them but now Im out the money with a bad alignment job and Im going to have to take it elsewhere to have it done properly.

This company is the worst place I have ever seen.My wife was told by one of the workers that she needed front brakes pads. She called to tell me. I told her to ask how much was it going to was cost. She called me back and said they quoted a price of $500.00 !!!!!!!!!!!! To change my front brakes!!!. You people are stealing peoples money. Very dishonest. My check engine light came on and I called Mr Tire Lenoir when I was 15 minutes away. Shaun, the assistant manager, assured me that they could squeeze me in to check my car.I had driven past several other tire centers because I didn’t feel safe going in. Mr. Tire in Lenoir is a safe and friendly place for me to have my car fixed. I shared with him that I was on a close deadline and had an appointment, and they were able to add my car into the schedule quickly. Matthew did a great job as a service technician. They changed my oil and rotated my tires and got me back out on the road quickly. They exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciate how friendly and accommodating they were! Thank you!

Service was quick and affordable with my all wheel alignment, but they did discover an issue with the right front strut ... apparently the previous owner of the vehicle had hit an enormous pot hole and actually bent the strut, I knew something wasnt right with the front end but I just wasnt sure what the problem was.I assumed after the excellent work they performed with the alignment and the better than expected price for the job that the strut replacement would follow suit... holy cow was I ever shocked by the price I was quoted .. $750..Ill change them out myself in the driveway and bring it back for another alignment after Im done.

Slow, tells you that you need repairs that you actually dont need or replacing of parts on a vehicle that you actually dont have! Glad I got second opinions twice. Wobt give them a 3rd chance

Took my car there for a simple oil change. They let me know ahead of time that someone called out and it would be a bit of a wait. That was fine. The part that was not fine was that I specifically asked them to check the air in my tires because my tire pressure light had been on. The oil change took 2 hours and I was quoted $500 for a new air filter, break pads and rotors which I declined. When I got my car back the tire pressure light was still on, so I called back to let him know that no one checked the air in my tires. He assured me that they did and sometimes it takes a while for the sensor to go off, but since I know my car and I know that the sensor light immediately goes off when I put air in the tires, I know they simply just failed to check them. He offered for me to come back once again so they could check it, but I feel that should’ve been done before I left their shop in the first place since it is listed as one of the things that they check when you get an oil change. So, I ended up putting my own air in my tires and the pressure light immediately went off. Not a big inconvenience for me to do it myself but when I pay for a service I expect it to be done right (even if it’s only $32.) I will say that they were very friendly and polite, but I won’t be going back.

After a very long and stressful day, I accidentally pulled too far into a parking place. With my car low to the ground, my bumper and undercarriage ripped loose. Not realizing the damage, I pulled into the road only to hear what my mistake had caused. Luckily, Mr. Tire was right up ahead. The staff there were amazing and caring. They immediately came out to help and even pulled my car in for a quick fix. And they wouldn’t even accept anything for their service! They cared enough to help me, even though they were busy and were soon to close. You saved my day, Mr. Tire, thank you! I’m so touched to know that there are still kind and caring souls out there to lend a helpful hand.

This makes the second time I’ve had issues with this particular location. First, I had some repairs done to a Suburban and left with more problems than I originally had. Now, today I go to get a new tire put on my car and there’s several things on my receipt that I was for that I had no acknowledge of! When I ask they were very rude about it so I just left!Mr Tire in Lenoir will not get anymore of my business! I’ve used Me Tire in Morganton and they are great! STAY AWAY FROM MR TIRE IN LENOIR!!!

I left a positive review back in June after my first visit to this place went great. I went back at the end of September for the same services & this trip was less than good. They were slow and not attentive at all. They did not change my milage sticker or reset my oil %. I was skeptical whether or not they actually changed my oil & rotated my tires and lazily completed the services. Here I am 2 months later, and it has become apparent they DIDN’T EVEN CHANGE MY OIL. Don’t waste your time here.

Aron at the lenior location went out of his way to help me on a Sunday! He was very courteous and professional. He made sure everything was fixed with my tire and did it fairly quickly with all he had to do! I had to have a tire patched as well as a lug bolt replaced after it snapped off when I took the tire off and put on the spare. Excellent customer service will definitely be back!

Last experience wasn’t so good as a lug nut and tire weren’t safely secured . I spoke to the manager after the incident and he was very understanding and concerned. He fired the person who did the first work on my vehicle and since then has hired an EXCELLENT NEW CREW ! I can now rate this a 5 Stars. Recently had my oil changed, tires rotated, wheels balanced, fluids topped off at this particular Mr Tire and they all super exceeded my expectations. This manager really cares and now has an EXCELLENT TEAM. Great job guys !

My wife and I have been going to this place since it was Clarks, and have always had good experiences. Granted, there have been personnel changes over the years & when it became Mr. Tire. But overall, the shop has always done us right with great prices & repair work; and getting us in/out asap. Weve had everything from alternator/battery fried to flat tire repairs, oil changes, etc. And they even helped us arrange a tow when needed. We are quite happy with the guys at Mr. Tire. Rick K.

My first and only Mr. Tire experience, I arrived early with only one other costumer ahead of me. All I wanted was a standard oil change, easy right? I continued to wait for TWO HOURS until finally, I went to the front desk to ask the lady to please tell the mechanics to hurry. She then revealed to me that she had forgotten that I was still there and had to scramble to find all my paperwork. I was then charged twice as much as I would if I wouldve gone to a local shop. The only other costumer there was a gentleman who had been waiting there for an hour before I arrived waiting on his tires to be rotated. Needless to say he was also very disappointed in how slow the mechanics worked. We both left very frustrated and we both agreed that we would never return. I honestly am baffled that they are able to make any money at all with such poor wait times, unprofessional staff, and overpriced services. Wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy.

I arrived at 7:30am because of a flat tire. I was the first person to arrive from what I could tell. Needed a quick tire plug and air. It took me an HOUR to get a low tire fixed. There was only one employee working at the time I arrived. Multiple people pulled in simply needing air. He bypassed me to assist them. When the other employee finally showed up he sat on his phone for 10 or so minutes before I finally had to ask him to put the tire back on my car. Then he began playing some extremely profane rap music because apparently that’s more important than repairing my tire. Literally every other word in the song was f*ck. Then! They charged me $28!!!! $28 For a patch. I have never in my life paid more than $5-10 to have a low tire repaired. I will not be back.

Sharing in hope that the owners read. You are missing out on a lot of business. Went in on a Saturday morning to have a tire with slow leak checked and repaired, normally a fairly quick and easy fix, not today. Let me first say, your tech found the nail that 2 other shops didnt find, so thats the good part. The bad part, it took 3 hours to complete. In those three hours, at least 12 people came in wanting tires, oil changes, state Inspections, and tire repairs. Now remember, most shops in Lenoir are not open on Saturday and are only open 8 to 5 during the week making it very tough for those that work during the week to get work done. So, on a Saturday, only 2 techs were working along with a new counter man, and one of the techs was troubleshooting a 57 Chevy truck with a 64 Oldsmobile 455 engine that was having issues, a lengthy and complicated process. Needless to say, the customers in the shop waiting were getting frustrated along with me. The one tech who was working was running around like a mad man trying to keep up and was working on several vehicles at a time instead of focusing on one vehicle until complete. Everyone was friendly and professional but I think management needs to look at proper weekend staffing levels and prioritizing repairs for maximum throughput

My engine oil light came on when I was driving home to Boone after being in Asheville one night. I called them about a minute before they closed, when I was still 15 min away, and they stayed open for me to help me out! Great service!

Mostly new folks I havent seen before. All respectful and fun. Just went in for a simple quick thing and they did a fantastic job. They also took the time to look at things and saved me from having a flat and getting a ticket.

The staff at Mr. Tire was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They were super helpful and honest about the services that I did or did not need. Overall, they made car maintenance a breeze & I was in and out in no time.

Dont tell a customer it will be a few minutes when the bays are full and it will take an hour to get worked on. A stud was broken in the process of the original repair and this visit was to repair that.Edit:::Mgr provided top notch service to correct the error caused by things not in his control. Great Job!

Very very unhappy I went to have my tires mounted and balanced and $100 later I have the glue residue all over my tires and my rims have been scratched to pieces I will not ever be back and I will be going to get a full refund this not a cheap fix and they will fix this for us I will not ever recommend anybody here this is awful service!!!!!

I just went to this mr. Tire for the first time. I had on my Air Force veterans hat. I only needed a valve stem for one tire because it was leaking. They were not very busy and the service was excellent. They even did all the work including a balance as a courtesy to my service for free I will go back every time I need anything anything for my tires. 10 Stars not five!

Just before this business changed from Clark Tire, I had a new power steering pump replaced on my SUV. After driving the vehicle only 1700 miles, the power steering pump went bad. I had another shop replace the pump and belt, etc. I contacted the manager of the Lenoir location, who basically advised me that they use parts that are less expensive to keep costs down to customers. He called back, after speaking to the DM and advised me that there was nothing he could do for me. If you want quality parts, I suggest you find another repair shop. They should have at least given me a refund for the part. Thats all it would have taken to resolve the issue. Can not recommend this business for repairs.
