Great selection and service - the best Westlake coupon policy - EVER!

Great place for quick tool and hardware pickups. Its a great small place to find that small last piece of your project. Though I have had very very minor issues with management care and organization but nothing major that depletes the experience. Would recommend if in need of anything related to outdoors

Barely any employees, so its next to impossible to find someone to help you find something. Things that are listed as in-stock on the website are not actually in-stock in the store. I special ordered an item that was supposed to be in-stock, came in to pick it up a few days later (when they said it would be ready), and they couldnt find it. Told me they would call me when they found it, never did. I ended up just ordering it from Home Depot instead.

Helpful and jovial staff. Great selection and a great place to shop if you dont like the vastness of the big box stores. A hometown kind of store.

Always the best place to go when you need specialty tools and hardware. Needed some stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers for an outdoor install on a birdhouse. Wanted to minimize rust.

General management seems to be very uncaring to truck drivers, driver delivering 6 pallets of salt he could have unloaded in 5 minutes. Instead he said he doesnt want it today and is making the driver wait!

Some products are more expensive here and are less expensive. Its a great place for unique finds.. Dont talk to the young guys if you need help. Find the older guys usually sitting in the back of the store. They really know their stuff.

Best place for car key.they tried for more then 45 min to make the key work and at last they did it.I tried 2 different store to make key for my Honda Civic 2006 at last they make it.

Might be tough times for people, but customer service should not disappear.UPDATE - The CEO reached out to me himself to address this along with the store manager, I compliment them greatly for caring and giving attention to this matter.

Reasonable prices for an ACE Hardware store. Friendly and helpful staff. Good layout of products. Currently, sale on large selection of portable gas grills and charcoal grills. Handicap accessible. Ample parking.

Good, fully stocked hardware store. They have a large selection of grills and smokers and plenty of accessories. You pretty much name what you want on your patio for making dinner, and they probably have it! Lots of friendly staff who know the store well. Ive never NOT found what I wanted at this hardware store!

Middle of a pandemic and employees arent wearing masks correctly and half the shoppers werent wearing masks or not using them to cover their nose. Terrible example of how to manage a business in such terrible times. I hope someone adddresses this.

Friendly and helpful staff. The selection is limited compared to Home Depot a and Lowes, but you get a much more relaxed and employable shopping experience. Ace will probably cover a majority of homeowners needs.

We like this Westlake Ace Hardware. It has inventory beyond what you expect at most hardware stores.

They dont have everything but you can find help when you need it. Its our go to for hardware related items. In the Spring, the garden center has great choices. Today we got one on one help with my garden list.

Love Westlake stores. It reminds me of the store I had while growing up in a small town. Unlike the big box stores you can actually find help if needed and the employees are super friendly. Yes they are a bit more expensive but Id gladly pay for the service and available parts.

Great place, a little more expensive than Lowes or Homedepot, but not so much Id be willing to drive the extra couple miles. Typical staff, team-members are nice enough. Pleasant atmosphere, clean as it should be. Bin tags and price tags could be better set. Great place, I like it a little better each visit.

I visited this store today for the first time ever since moving to Lenexa from OP. I wish I wouldve stopped by sooner. The store was clean, organized, and the staff was unbelievably helpful and nice.Trena (I believe her name is), the head cashier there was outstanding. She was nice, helpful, and got me signed up with an Ace rewards card to help save me some money on future purchases. Im getting a $5 reward/gift card in the mail just for signing up! You can tell when a place takes pride in, and cares about the business theyre running. This place should be very proud of the way they run their store, including how they treat/value their customers. Today I felt like I was a valued/appreciated customer, which I feel is hard to find these days. i would rate this place 10 stars if I could.Thank you Trena and Lenexa Westlake Ace Hardware for your help today with a first time (and soon to be long-time/loyal) customer. By far the least helpful hardware folks nearby. Employees seem to consistently be new and can seldom figure out how properly run the register, much less help you find the right bolt.

Visited the parking lot to answer a call. It was smooth...outside of behind the building where massive pothole roam. One could loose a car if youre not paying attention. As for everything else? Idonno. ✌️

Their bolt bins are unbeatable. A bit pricey - Fastenall is cheaper but Westlake is way more convenient.

Came in the other day to buy a bunch of patch material for my home exterior. I needed a 6 inch piece of lumber but I would have had to buy an 8 foot piece of wood for it. Scott (one of the many great employees there) went in the back room, found a scrap piece of wood, cut it to the exact size I needed and gave it to me... no charge! This is what customer service is about AND it makes me want to come to the store again and again. Give Scott a raise!

This establishment needs some employees with basic training in RETAIL!!Two young guys at the registers one has me in front of him making a large plant purchase and stops ringing me up to answer the phone? What the heck! The other guy is so confused, you guys lost a customer they left the merchandise on the counter and walked out! I will never shop this local shop again ! There is no such thing as customer service. The worst thing a sales clerk can do in my opinion is answer the phone to answer questions for some body you is too lazy to come to the store and find what they need!! I’m standing there and he tells me to hold on SORRY GUY YOU WON’T SEE ME AGAIN !

More often than not I end up here when Im trying to find that one off or niche piece of hardware. They have much better selection of bulk metals and hardware when compared to the larger hardware chains.

Selected a shower head listed as $39 on the peg. At the counter it rang up as $87! (the box had no price marked it). Went back to the display area and there were NO pegs with an $87 price. Staff claimed there was nothing they could do about the mis-advertised price. At the front counter there was another customer having a similar problem

I used to work there, in the office, so it holds a special place in my heart. More objectively the service is always top-notch, at every location. Its alsoone of the few businesses for which being a rewards member truly pays off with notably better deals at very minimal inconvenience. Specific to this location, the store gets a littlecluttered but is always still attractive and welcoming, and has such a great selection.

Meh. They had what I need, but it was marked $5 higher than everywhere else. I can wait and pick it up next week somewhere else. Seriously, why is EVERYTHING more expensive here? It’s the Toys R Us of hardware, and we all know how that turned out for them. Over the course of the past 5 years, I’ve bought from Ace and paid the higher price only because I needed something right then. That’s it. I’m tired of these guys and will never go back there for everyday shopping.

Nothing pisses me off more than going in to look for a common item only to find that shelf bare, this has happened on more than one occasion so why bother trying to support a local business when they obviously dont care
