Very Happy with there customer service. My technician Corey was amazing. He spotted my cable was coming apart. Was able to get new cables and springs same day. Corey was very upfront and friendly. Was on time. Very satisfied with their work my garage door is running and working properly thanks to A1 garage door. I would recommend them for sure.

Corey was the technician that arrived, and Im glad he did. He was personable, professional, and knew his business. He came to install an opener, but then I had him service all 3 doors, and then convert my doors from side spring to torsion springs. Anytime I asked about a job, he gave me options and told me the pros and cons of of each. I spent a little more than intended, but I consider it money well spent. Ive only lived in OP for 2 years, but I can definitely say I now have a permanent garage service company. The poor guy worked right through his lunch time. :)

Carsen came out for an install for a Genie opener and did a great job. Was very transparent with info and let me know how to reprogram the unit due to a spacing issue with the set up. (Air duct was 1/10 too low - causing the door not to open all the way) He did an amazing job! Definitely would recommend A1 to anyone. Id rather know who is coming to work on my house than a Home depot 3rd party contractor.

I want to give a huge thank you to Corey and the A1 Garage Door customer service team. The supporting strut on our garage door separated from the wall, leaving the door stuck part way open. This occurred approximately 4:00pm in the afternoon. I called A1; after checking with a dispatcher, the support team indicated that Corey was just finishing a job in the area, and would call when on his way. He called just a few minutes later, and was at the house by 4:30! He was able to resolve the problem, took time to walk us through why it occurred, replaced worn parts, and made some recommendations about future maintenance. After discussing options, we decided to replace our nearly end-of-life springs, which he had in his van. The work was done swiftly, carefully, cleanly, and professionally. Very professional. My technician, Joe H, was great. Friendly, professional and didnt pressure me on any extras. One note ... whoever takes the bookings in the office needs to be upfront about the trip charge in addition to what I was paying for the tune-up. It was not mentioned to me and it is not listed on the coupon. I understand why it is there and I dont mind paying, however, A1 should be up front about it.

We called A1 originally for a quote on some issues with our garage door opener. Corey called us and was very responsive. He ended up swapping out the garage door opener the same day he came out to look at it. I was very pleased with the work he did. The only downside is they are fairly more expensive compared to other companies in the area.

Responsive to my initial call and scheduling available for quick service. Communication was excellent from confirming appointment and staying in touch prior to showing up for the installation. I enjoyed working with tech Joe H. He was pleasant, a clear communicator and even went the extra mile to sync the opener with my SUV’s system.

The install for one door took only about an hour and a half; and this is while training a new employee. Overall very impressed, very professional and efficient. Navy veteran replaced both our garage openers. Cant remember when I had better service. Was friendly and honest. No later surprises. Less expensive diagnostic fee than others like Overhead.New openers are pretty cool. The new wall mounts show time and temp. Can control from app on phone.Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because each opener only comes with one clicker so you have to pay for another one if you need it and the security key pad is a seperate cost as well.Highly recommend A1.

These guys did a fantastic job getting me a quote and securing the inventory in their warehouse to ensure a my install would go smooth and be on time... all while being on site and doing it FREE of charge. The actual install of the garage doors was just as great as the quote. The guys that came on-site were professional and went above and beyond helping clear space for them to work despite that being my responsibility. The work they did went quick and was very high quality. 100% would recommend and use again. Only thing left to add is that I heard Joe H’s (999 - a) kids thinks he smells weird, but that’s ok cause I think Joe smells fine and kids think all old men smell weird. I pause to say this company is a joke, because maybe they have been good for other people but heres what happened to me:I called for the coupon I received in the valpak since our garage door just needed an adjustment. I need to start by saying our door and kit is only two years old. After sending someone out and promising me it was only $39.95, I had a worker show up and read me a list of things wrong with my garage door and system. It was going to be well over $1,000 to fix our 1/2 gap. I told him we were not doing that. He continued to hammer and drill on our door. After he left there was a side gap that has continually let air in worse than before.I had to argue over the cost and coupon - and he told me hed have to check the phone call. Of course when he checked my phone call he said I was right and they had lots of new people. Im telling you, I was super disappointed. People work so hard for their money, I should not have to spend the same amount of money it cost for my two year old garage door and kit to repair it.

My grandfather scheduled an appointment with A-1 two weeks ago and on the day they were supposed to come out and give an estimate to replace his door, the office called and wanted to postpone the estimate two more weeks. My grandfather got the impression that the company was inefficient and could not do the job anyway. He awarded the work to another door company.

Using A1 Garage Door Service is by far the best decision I could have made for purchasing and installing new garage door opener units. The installer, Troy M., treated the whole process exactly how I would have liked - the price was good and the entire installation process was perfect. His communication was clear, concise and easy to understand. He even cleaned as he installed, the empty boxes, wiring, even sweeping and blowing out the garage when finished. There was a small issue with the new rubber striping along the bottom of the garage door not sealing (like a few mm but I’m very particular and want a 100% seal from the outside) because the concrete was ever so slightly uneven. He came back again, removed the new, normal seal strip and replaced it with an extra large stripping. That extra effort, pride in his work and willingness to keep the customer happy is very impressive in this day and age. Ask for Troy at A1 and you will be very happy with your garage door project!

When I called to get my garage door spring reattached, I scheduled an appointment for Saturday that week. I was called Friday to ask if I could reschedule because they had free space that afternoon and I replied that I needed the weekend because I was working on the weekdays. The person who called me sounded disappointed in my answer and eventually said OK and hung up. Early Saturday morning I was texted to call about my appointment. When I called they said they had to cancel for an emergency. This was odd, but I thought things happen and rescheduled for the next Saturday. I proceeded to wake up and wait from 8-12 with no communication which ended with a no show technician. I left a message and 3 days later I was contacted with a generic text that stated they were contacting me to get my appointment scheduled completely ignoring the fact that I had 2 scheduled appointments that took my Saturday up with noone showing either time. Poor customer service and communication.

(I have never written a review, but this young man deserved more than a simple thank you).Troy McConnell, the professional who restored our garage, was outstanding. He genuinely took care of us, as if we were family. My wife and I were both so impressed with his diligence, honesty and commitment to taking care of us, while at the same time committing to the financial parameters we hoped to maintain. An extension spring broke on one of my garage doors. The technician that came out to the house, Corey, arrived within the time window. He explained that the extension spring system currently on my door was not used much any more, and would only be warranted for 18 months if I wanted them replaced. He suggested a torsion spring system that is warranted for 10 years. I had him put a torsion spring system on two doors, and also replaced the rollers on both doors. (These doors are over 25 years old and had not been serviced) I am very pleased with the service I received from A1 Garage Door Service and would recommend them to anyone needing garage door repair.
