I am so glad I chose Midwest Kitchens to do our kitchen remodel. David was so easy to work with. He made good suggestions to get me thinking of how I wanted the finished kitchen to look and work. I knew I wanted to replace the upper cabinets so that I could go much higher but after talking to David, I decided to replace all my cabinets because I wanted to get full overlay doors.Mike really is a master craftsman and made everything come together beautifully. He cleaned everything up every single day and didnt even mind the interruptions as we continued to use our refrigerator and parts of the kitchen. And it only took our kitchen 2 weeks to be completed!I love my kitchen!

We had an appointment with David Williams to give us an estimate for a total kitchen remodel. After listening to our situation, senior citizens who will have to sell our home in a few years when we are no longer able to maintain it, David suggested we did not have to remodel because we would have no trouble selling our home in it’s current condition and future owners may have different ideas as to what they would like. We were not looking forward to our kitchen being torn up and workmen in our home for several weeks so we were relieved to get David’s opinion.If you are planning a kitchen remodel we would recommend Midwest Kitchens. When I first contacted David at Midwest Kitchens, I intended to have our kitchen cabinets refaced. After looking at them, though, he said that they really just needed to be painted and have new hinges. I was able to find a good painter, and, when the cabinets were finished, Mike installed them and replaced the drawer tracks, too. He completed them all quickly and professionally. Mike is a cabinet wizard! In the end this job was a very insignificant one for MIdwest Kitchens, but it meant everything to me. For years I had a kitchen that didn’t work exactly right and didn’t look the way I thought it should. Now it is beautiful and functional, and I am proud of it. Thanks to David for his initial honest advice on what should be done and especially for following through.

I love my new kitchen and I have David and Mike to thank for it. From the first appointment, I knew I was in good hands. David guided me through the entire process and suggested various resources to help me find just the right selections for my kitchen.After 40 years, my kitchen was in need of a total makeover. I had all the cupboards replaced with custom cabinets and hardware; replaced the countertop, backsplash, sink and faucet. I also had all the lighting replaced and added under counter lighting and a new chandelier. The microwave was moved from over the stove to better spot and an oven hood was installed over the stove. I even had the popcorn ceiling removed in the kitchen and the laundry door replaced. Lastly, the large kitchen window was replaced with a sliding door so I can now access the screened-in porch from the kitchen.Mike was a master at transforming my out-of-date depressing kitchen into a dream kitchen which I love. He treated my kitchen as if it was his own and everything was done perfectly. He kept dust to a minimum and cleaned up every night before he left. Both David and Mike were great at communicating what was going on and when they would be here. It was a big project but they finished it on schedule in 4 weeks.I’m so happy Midwest Kitchen remodeled my kitchen and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.

I had Midwest Kitchens and a few other companies give me a bid on a total kitchen remodel last spring. Dave came out and spent a lot of time looking at my kitchen and asking questions about my vision. He asked pointed questions about the way I used my kitchen, why I was set on certain things, (double ovens, for example, because my mother had them was my response) and suggested alternatives that not only made more sense but also saved me money. He provided samples of cabinetry and gave me lots of options of where to select other things like counter tops, tile and flooring. He returned at least two more times to measure after providing the bid. He knows the neighborhood and the market and I felt like he listened to me and did his best to make sure I got the kitchen I wanted so I signed a contract.I am SO glad I did. From start to finish the project went according to plan and was finished in three weeks, just like David said. Mike was here every day, was professional, hard-working and a meticulous perfectionist. He found and corrected problems that had either been missed or ignored by previous owners and which could easily have turned in to safety issues. He took the time to explain everything he was doing. He was extremely neat and protected my home, appliances and furnishings from noise, dust, and foot traffic by using a back entrance, even though it resulted in many more steps for him.The finished product was much better than I could have imagined. The transformation is stunning and, well, absolutely perfect. On time, on budget and perfect. I could not be happier and would recommend this company and Dave and Mike to anyone who wants a local, family-owned company that is totally honest, very easy to work with, and does amazing work.PS --I took Daves advice and got a slide-in range--and it has two ovens, plus I got more counter space. 8-)

David and Mike were so great to work with! We had 3 bids and they were the easy choice. The other bidders gave us this huge 2 hour sales pitch (while trying to manage 3 kids 3 & under) so we really appreciated that David skipped all the fluffy sales stuff and got straight to the point of what he could offer. As a retirement gift to ourselves we contracted with Midwest Kitchens LLC to do a complete remodel of our kitchen. We had a good idea of what we wanted, but David honed the ideas from our sketches to make the finished product unique, such as suggesting the Autumn stain with an Ebony glaze. We chose quarter sawn oak for a rustic, yet classic and elegant look, and liked natural granite for the counters. We wanted additional pantry storage, roll out shelves everywhere, a cook top with outdoor venting, wall ovens and a large island to gather around in a casual and comfortable setting.David and his crew Mike, and Gene, were excellent to work with. They were always polite, and on time. They were meticulously precise with details and finish work. These gents held a sense of pride in their workmanship, just as if they were working on their own kitchen. The kitchen was cleaned daily when they were done. Floors were protected, zip walls were in place to confine and minimize dust. The MK team approaches every aspect of the refacing process with absolute professionalism and I am delighted with the result. Dave was completely at ease with my lengthy decision-making process and offered many samples (and yet new ones as I changed my mind) as well as great insights based on his experience. The install team, Mike and Gene, are perfectionists, there was no dust in the rest of the house, and each evening they left the kitchen accessible. The install was done in a week and the refaced cabinets are beautiful. A fantastic group of people to work with from top to bottom. I initially went into my cabinet refacing project with no idea where to begin or what I wanted, but fortunately David was able to help me narrow my selections down to what would look best in my kitchen without having to tear everything apart and re-do everything else. I hired Midwest Kitchens to reface my kitchen that was botched with a horrible paint job. They were so professional. Very clean - every night the kitchen was vacuumed and usable. We had MIdwest Kitchens reface our kitchen cupboards and drawers 5+ years ago. It still looks current and up to date. We had them modify a lower cabinet for a beverage cooler. People are so surprised to see this feature since our home is over 20 years old. Mike handled the install of our refacing and his work is impeccable. David was extremely helpful when it came to picking out the counter tops and stain color for our cupboards and drawers. The whole process was easy and stress free. This company stands behind their work.
