We had A very negative experience with our first appliance purchase RTO from here so we did end up sending the washer and dryer back to them after about 8 months. This was extremely frustrating after 8 months of 150.00 a month invested in the set. I initially requested the smoky colored washer and dryer set and I really wanted a new set since the price was so much monthly and ownership was to be after 18 months of paying. When they delivered, it was a USED WHITE SET. You could see that the dryer was a used appliance with obvious wear and tear. Had to run a simple load more than once and often more than 3 times to have dry clothes results. Not what we asked for. Very horrible customer service when it came to being honest. Was promised many times that the NEW SMOKE colored set was on order and would replace this USED WHITE older models soon. After 8 months, requested the set be picked up. Did receive an incentive vial USPS stating a first monthly payment of only six (6) bucks as opposed to the initial payment of 162 bucks. So tempting so I did agree to trying it again plus, we had CHLOTHES that were badly in need of washing from all 5 people in my household. We had absolutely nothing clean to wear plus, many changes in how things are handled and receiving merchandise that WE wanted and needed, not lied to about the condition of the products as we have been contiously for 8 months, Because the store was now UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT And all staff I was promised as being a totally new and well trained crew. So far, we are very happy and manager has been honest to me plus delivered and set up for us. HAPPY

I have called 3 times today to try to make a payment never get an answer called on Wednesday to get a repair order written up no answer either so I went into the store. I am now going into the store to give them my payment and also have them pick their stuff up and I am going to rent first instead. This is ridiculous.

Terrible customer service. Went in on Thursday afternoon. Had to wait until the next afternoon for delivery. So much for “Free Same Day Delivery” even with a store full of employees. Upon delivery my NEW dryer was defective and made a horrible grinding sound when turned on. Aside from that it didn’t come with a dryer vent hose. I called the store to tell them about it and Matt proceeded to tell me that he had just taken it out of the box and it was brand new, basically dodging the issue vs finding a resolution. When the manager took over the call without introduction he was able to offer a solution which was appreciated. Day 3, the stand in dryer arrives, again no vent hose, and this time the wrong plug was attached. I called the store to rectify this simple mistake and instead of an apology and quick resolution the MANAGER tells me all his trucks are out and asks me if I can come up to pick one up. Under normal circumstances this would be an acceptable solution; however, my 2 year old is taking a nap. He asks if I can come up later to which I replied “No” because I shouldn’t have to. His response to this was absolutely unacceptable from a member of management. An exacerbated sigh and “Come on man.” Absolutely not. This level of unprofessionalism is intolerable. When Customer Service opens on Monday I will call and handle this situation on another level with someone more capable of an acceptable level of customer service. I have been understanding, patient and accepting of the minor issues but I won’t be treated as an inconvenience by a business or any of its representatives.

Absolutely horrible customer service!We decided to rent a sectional couch in April. We went in to pick one out. Paid $146 up front and they said they would deliver it 2 days later and they never did. It took a few days an we finally got it. Well the couch had roaches! We took pictures, which I will attach to this!Called an complained and they swore up an down that the couch was clean. We took the couch an sat it outside, until they finally got it. After calling the district manager several times, we got a replacement. Alot cheaper, but I still dont know where the $146 went. They said wed have a brand new sectional in 6 weeks. An here we are 3 months later and absolutely nothing.Its excuse after excuse with these people!I would never recommend them to anyone!Ill definitely be calling the district manager once again, because it seems nothing gets done unless he gets involved!

We came in and David Russell was the one that help us. He apologized over the delay and told us we would get our furniture. He was calm, attentive, understanding and polite even though I was being difficult and very upset. He continued to help and in the end he resolved all our issues. He did such an outstanding job rewriting our contract with the penny sale, that we decided to add more furniture to our contract, which wasn’t in my husbands and I plan to do at all today. We really appreciate that he took the time to fix the discrepancies in our agreement. We had to stay later due to the fact that they were short staffed and there were many customers waiting, which wasn’t the fault of staffing. Tobi Lee was the one who delivered our furniture. He was extremely nice about it even though he had to stay about an hour later (so did the rest of the staff due to being short-staffed). He set up our furniture quickly and efficiently. We are so grateful for David Russell and Tobi Lee. Without them we would be sleeping on the floor.

Its a very poorly ran store... Bad manager after bad manager.... People get offered positions then get pulled out from them weeks later because they dont wanna setup somebody to fail then why offer it to begin with right? Sadly the DM can only do so much when the company is too busy tryna cover themselves to keep away from the current lawsuits.... I recommend rent1st over this place any day

Everything was kosher until our items were delivered and there were paint and rips in the merchandise. When we saw The furniture in The beginning we didnt see paint or tears. The staff had zero empathy for the situation. The same people that were very nice and warm to us when we were making payments, were the same people that told us, its your problem now after it was delivered. They definitely will not be getting any business from us ANYMORE.

Did the$15 down. Its a scam. Once your in store u will have to make another downpayment. You do not get the second week free as stated and then a full month is due the following week.

I do not and have never had an account with them! However, I dealt with them calling a place of employment to collect a debt from an employee. They were told numerous times not to contact this place of business to collect a personal debt. The manger (Izzy??) was rude, unprofessional and continued to argue with me. He also called 3x in 5 minutes to argue with me to transfer the phone. He was instructed several times to not call this place of business and to contact the employee directly regarding PERSONAL business. They apparently don’t train or advise their employees of the Federal Trade Commission’s Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They cannot harass! So, shame on you Rent-A-Center. Bad Business. The staffs are very unprofessional. They didnt even acknowledge that a customer came into the store, even after walking up to the associate. Not a simple hello. He was just staring elsewhere. The other guy was just on the phone. Very bad experience for a first time

This store is so unprofessional. The ladys are rude and talk to you like you are dumb when calling them. The store is dirty and furniture is also dirty, the guys that work there were very unprofessional, we were signing up and all the guys could talk about was getting drugs and smoking. Will never ever do my business there again! Thanks for basically telling me Aarons rent center is the better option...
