I purchased a very expensive package that I didn’t want sitting on my porch all day. I went online and registered with FedEx and specified I’d like the package to be dropped at the 911 Massachusetts location. I got an indication that it was delivered and called the store just to be sure it was there. It wasn’t. Not their fault, the driver’s mistake. The employees at the store were super nice and made many calls to track down my package. They had a driver pick it up from my doorstep so that the porch pirates didn’t get it. They brought it to the store where I could pick it up. I can’t tell them how much I appreciate their help ! Fantastic customer service!
The site shows less busy than usual, would you like to know why that is? Because there is no place to park. This is the worst FedEx location
The gentleman named Greg that works at the Lawrence KS location was super helpful and kind. I felt like he went above and beyond when he helped decide the best way to print and put together my coloring book. I appreciate you Greg!
Go anywhere else. Dont waste your time or money.
I have used this Fed Ex for years and the staff offer excellent service and are always courteous & helpful. It is so handy to have it downtown where I can get everything done - my shopping/banking/library.
I come into FedEx often so I feel bad about not leaving a review sooner. The two gentlemen (Greg & Cody) & a group of gentlewomen (Dont help me enough to know names) Are always so kind, focused, patient and example employees. If it were my decision, these guys would be the managers. Thanks Greg & Cody for always making me feel welcomed and you guys are the reason I choose FedEx. Always mean it when I say I appreciate you guys.
I want to thank whoever delivered my package yesterday. My apartment number was not complete on the label, but the deliverer somehow found my door. The label indicated the building Im in and the floor Im on, but not my actual apartment number. Also, the delivery was a few days earlier than promised.
Ive always had a positive experience at this location. Copies are easy to make, and whatever assistance that Ive ever needed has been easy to find. This past week I had to return a Christmas tree to an Amazon seller. Corey was incredibly helpful in helping me find a box that would fit it, and took care of all the packaging. Easier experience here than at the UPS on 6th Street.
I had a wonderful experience at this store today. I believe it was the manager who helped me out. He was very helpful and polite. I needed some enlarged copies in a big hurry and I was in and out of there in 5 minutes,. Granted it wasnt very busy, but I felt they went above and beyond for me today :)
I was determined to design all the printed materials for my wedding myself, and these guys helped make it happen! We talked to several staff members throughout our wedding planning - from Save-the-Date postcards to wedding day programs - and each time, they were all helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. I admit, I was very pleasantly surprised!! The printed items turned out great! They also took great passport photos to help me renew my passport for our honeymoon! Just really great service all around!
I came in there knowing nothing. The lady that helped me was a blessing in disguise, she was so helpful and patient. I would recommend.
Everyone I spoke to was helpful, but especially James and Greg. I talked to James every time I called and he was very confident and clear in his answers. I worked with Greg in store and he was very helpful. Also, when I picked up my booklet, he went through it and showed me a few ways to improve my printing experience. Im sure some people wont be receptive to if you do this differently then your printed product will look better but I have always appreciated constructive criticism. I just wish they could perfect bind at this location. Regardless, 10/10 will be returning.
If there is an option of negative I would have given that. I had urgent application that needed to be delivered as early as possible, they said it will be delivered Saturday( paid extra) and further plans were made accordingly. But when they couldnt deliver it in time( on Saturday) we requested them to do it at least on Sunday and they said they cant. Now I am dilemma what to do to get my application in time. Please dont trust FedEx if you have something very important to be delivered in time. Oh! when they say a date and charge to extra for that fast delivery expect another 3 days added to their promised date of delivery.
One of the easiest located FedEx locations.
I will need to stop using FedEx. I needed the return address to be where I am visiting, not where I am living. There is no one to pick it up where I live. My home is 230 miles away. I had to find a family member and have them drive 20 miles one way to get an address here. This is absolutely ridiculous. The people were trying their best to be helpful, but couldnt do anything about policy. The policy has lost FedEx a customer
I didnt walk in expecting a bad experience, but the man helping me did not care whatsoever. He was very rude and obviously didnt care about providing good customer service. Due to this experience, i will be avoiding this FedEx. If you choose to use this location, I hope you have a better experience than I did.
Package returns here are insane. Employees are aggressively trained to insist you need extra packaging for a return item which in turn would cost you money of course....On two occasions now I have been barraged with questions about the quality of packing for my return shipments from Amazon. I have never been so aggressively questioned for a return shipments in my life. My last conversation went something like this (Im very close with no exaggeration):Me: Hello, just dropping off a return.Them: Whats in the package?Me: A ring camera.Them: How is the item packaged.Me: ??? In the box you see before you. The return label is on the box and its ready to go.Them: Yes, but how did you package the camera in the interior of the box.Me: I did nothing. Its the box its shipped in. I am returning it.Them: Sir, our conveyor belts go upward of 45 mph. If not properly packaged the item can be damaged.Me: Well its shipped exactly like it was from Amazon so I assume its OK for the return. Its just the cameras box in the box you see in front of you.Them: No bubble wrap or Styrofoam?Me: No.....Them: How was the camera packaged in the box it came in?Me: ???????? Like the manufactures box the camera is packaged in?Them: YesMe: Good?Them: Ok, but was it bubble wrapped or any StyrofoamMe: No. Look Im not a shipping expert. Im just trying to make a return.Them: Ok, so nothing in the cameras box either.Me: *visibly annoyed* Look, I just want to return this. It was nested into corrugated cardboard. What if I say nothing what exactly are you trying to get at.Them: We require that all items be properly packaged. If its not properly package then we can repackage it here to insure it will not be damaged in transit.Me: Its fine. It needs no other packaging.Them/Me: *stare off*Them: Scans boxHonestly, it was absolutely insane and I the exchange above is very close to the actual conversation as close as I can remember. That said, I realized there is a FedEx Office near my work. I just go there now for my returns. No hassle what so ever. They just scan and give me my receipt. I honestly suggest you do the same.
I only have one experience here, but it was quite good. I tried to ship something that somebody bought from me on Ebay, but realized shortly afterwards that the person had sent me phishing emails and that I hadnt actually been paid. I called FedEx and they held onto my package until I was able to pick it up and gave me nearly a full refund for the shipping cost. Both the shipping and the canceling transactions were quick and easy. .
They take the public copiers offline for their own use. They offer their computers for rent. No compensation / free computer time or price reduction on prints . All I need is 12 copies and they know it. I might as well go across town to office max/depot.
I came home this hot afternoon to find 2 packages full of perishables and a note from a neighbor that they had been left at his address yesterday (Thursday) but not discovered till today. He kindly dropped them off on my porch. All perishables were hot. I called the Lawrence office, wasnt sure what I needed to do. The person I spoke with was quite rude and not the least helpful. I will have to contact the senders apparently, but dont feel its fair for them to be out for the FedEx drivers error. Very poor service
After being a loyal customer for over 20 years I will now take my business to the UPS Store. This is because today they essentially told me that, due to policy, they no longer want my business. The mindless drones that work there are apparently not paid enough to think or help a customer solve a problem. They are quite good at quoting Fed Ex POLICY - which can be summed up with the idea that they are a Multi-Billion Dollar, Multi-National corporation that treats their customers and prospective customers like dirt simply because they CAN. The staff is there first and foremost to collect a paycheck, secondly to enforce POLICY and last of all to help customers. FedEx is too big to care, and that is a fact.
In a word - frustrating! The first time I went to FedEx I was helped quickly and efficiently, got exactly what I needed and paid a reasonable price. The next two times I went in with the exact same request two different staff members gave me the run around, told me that they could not do what I was asking (even though someone had done it for me before) and suggested alternatives that were outrageously expensive. I went to the UPS store on Clinton Parkway and got wonderful service! They were able to do what I wanted, were extremely friendly, and the whole thing cost about a third of what I paid at FedEx. Based on my initial experience at FedEx, they do have some employees who are knowledgeable and helpful but because of my subsequent encounters I will never go back to FedEx. I am a mother with an eight month old at home and getting out to run errands is a big undertaking, I was extremely irritated that I wasted my time talking to difficult and incompetent employees at FedEx. I dont need the extra stress in my life. I will be going to UPS from now on.
The services offered by this store get the job done. Unfortunately, the staff and customer service is some of the worst that Ive ever experienced from any place of business. Their cocky attitudes, and refusal to assist their customers when their technology fails, prompted me to collect my memory stick and leave before the job was finished. From now on, I will avoid their services at all costs, and I recommend that you spend your valuable time somewhere else.
I always have a real easy time in this store. They always get my stuff printed whether its a single card or a whole volume of criminal law. Usually Im in and out of this spot pretty quick also.
I have mixed experiences here. Sometimes its ok, but usually this location will pick up my parcels, and if they can hear any noise inside they will open my box and add packing, wanting to charge it to my account. I have frequently had to argue with them to make them ship my parcel as I have it packed. I ship carefully and have had zero claims. On one occasion there was a small quarter sized tear in my box and they refused to tape over it for me so that it could be shipped. They said taping over it would still not make it shippable. I loaded it back in to my car, stopped at Walmart to get tape, put a piece of tape over the hole and then took it to a different location of Fedex where they took it with no problem.
Despite some of the bad reviews on here, Ive never received bad service from this location. A few of the staff transferred over from the Kinkos that was inside the Kansas Union and brought their knowledge to this location.Staff here are friendly, IMO, and Ive never had any issues when shipping, printing, or receiving help on the rare occasion I need design help..
Had a note on my door for all deliveries to be brought to my apartment front office or brought to the shipping office for pick up, not left at the door to avoid things being stolen. Fedex driver read that note, and then decided since I asked for it not to be left at the front door he should leave my package on the back porch in the pouring rain. Package was soaked entirely and ruined. Now the driver left a package at our doorstep on Christmas Eve when we were obviously not home and again have repeatedly asked for packages to never be left. Package was stolen of course so I call Fedex and they were absolutely no help and said it’s “up to the driver” if they leave the package or not no matter what notes we leave or how many times we tell them not to. I have a small business that receives about 30 packages per a week and ships 40+, and I will no longer be using Fedex for any reason ever again. Not reliable, not helpful and don’t care about the customer.
FedEx ONE RATE Rated DECEPTIVE ... Can You Say BAIT AND SWITCH?First of all, the FedEx website is confusing and difficult to use. I have an account, but have to enter data over and over even after saving it. I recently created two shipments, one going and one return, using the same information, but when I got to the store realized that I was being charged an extra $2.31 for the return shipment even though it was being delivered to the same city it was being shipped from (Lawrence).FedEx advertises one low price (as low as $7.50) for envelopes, but my envelopes cost $12+ and $14+ for a total of $26 ... NOT $15! They state on their website:FedEx One Rate ... Simple, flat rate shipping with the reliability of FedExBut their website is anything but simple and it is obviously not a flat rate because they charge different prices depending on where the envelope is going.I asked about the price discrepancy at Kinkos, but was told oh, thats just the way it is and was not offered a refund or new shipping labels at the cheaper one rate. Customer service at this location is sketchy with reps having little if any knowledge of FedEx processes or pricing. In-fact, the employee told me next time, just come to the counter and well take care of it for you, but when I did just that a few weeks back I was told go to the computer over there and print your own labels. I then spent 30 minutes trying to navigate the website, re-enter saved information, and print the labels.CombatCritic Gives FedEx Kinkos (Lawrence, Kansas) 3 Bombs Out Of 10
Good FedEx store. Shipping and good location to pick up packages
Great customer service! I was in a bit of disbelief when I got to The Fedex Store and got AWESOME customer care, as well as witnessed the same with other customers. What is up with the negative reviews? Maybe they are spoiled and entitled youngsters that want their world perfect all the time... who knows. At any rate, great customer service, in person, on follow up calls, with a fervor to go above and beyond. Keep up the good work.
Did not get my package on time, neither at the right address. It was not a few times. I have friends that had experienced the same situation. Also, Ive lost money because of it.
The staff of this FedEx is useless and non-accommodating of customers. They are the best advertisement for the UPS store in town!
Its the Fu*king worst. They never send package out on time and it doesnt arrive when they say its going too. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I do not normally give out bad reviews, but feel like this store, as well as Fedex, needs to address their customer service and some of their policies. I am a professional artist and ship work to galleries often. Every time I go into this store I get treated like an idiot. They question my packing abilities (I ALWAYS bubble wrap and double-box) and their know-it-all attitudes are very frustrating (last time I had them pack something for me it was damaged, but their insurance policies make it nearly impossible to get a refund for artwork). I find it ridiculous that they cannot type in the shipping info, making you fill out a paper sheet regardless if you have shipped to the address before. They then pick apart everything on the sheet, saying what you did incorrectly. They do not offer pre-paid return shipping, which is a requirement of many galleries if work is unsold. Lastly, their prices are nearly double UPS. Safe to say I have made my last trip to FedEx.
Even the shipper lost my package or shipped to a wrong destination. So bad. I suggest you guys choose UPS. They have s better customer service and they are Friendly.
I sell custom art online and I needed a high resolution scan to archive my artwork before sending it to the customer. They scanned my artwork but failed to check to make sure it was downloaded to my zipdrive before I paid them for it. When I checked it later(after I had already mailed my artwork) and discovered it was not on my zipdrive, they told me to just bring it back in. Too late! Of course, I realize now I should have checked to make sure but I didnt have access to a computer until later. They told me the file had already been deleted.I thought maybe I had a virus, so used a software tool to recover all my deleted files on my zipdrive. But Fedex/kinkos obviously never put it on my zipdrive because I was able to recover older files but there were none from that date.
Rude service and does not help or care if your satisfied with what you need printed. I would suggest ups they have friendly service and really help you with your printing.
The assistant manager is condescending. Worst customer service so far
I dont know what to say to you.. this was what they said to me when I asked why my usb is not getting recognized in one of their printer machines. I could say they put 0% effort to help the customer.
Ive never had a positive experience here. The employees only ever offer the minimum amount of support.
Fast service and friendly staff!
Called to ask a question, while I got a speedy response it was rude. yay for copy co.
Fast service no lines, friendly stuff
Horrible. Ship at UPS! Shipped two packages, would have costed half the price at UPS. Took forever to ship.
I cant understand why fed ex wont ring my door bell when they deliver a package. UPS and the post office both do. Fed Ex just tosses it on the porch and takes off and since i dont use my front door it can set there for more than a day
I so agree with what has been shared. I couldnt get a package delivered to my house without and extra fee and on and on the saga went. I had to get the shipper to authorize it to be allowed to be picked up by me. Very frustrated.
Very efficient, friendly, and courteous!
As expected.
Horrible service
