I will say this, we were offered help within a couple minutes of entering which was great. Here’s where the 1 star comes in…I checked online to make sure they had the ET-2720 Printer in stock. It showed available for purchase, so I swung by a few minutes later.Once at the store…I didn’t see any in stock and when I asked I was told the reason it shows in stock available for purchase is because of the display model they have. So I then asked the obvious question… if it shows the display available for purchase then can I purchase the display model?I was told no, it’s against the policy to sell the display. The guy did offer to look around the store to see if he had one somewhere. A few minutes go by and he hollers from the front of the store “Found One!” Obviously very excited I walked to the front of the store. When I arrive, card in hand exited to purchase, the guy says “yep it was hiding up front, someone bought it online for pickup” so I replied it’s not for sale then? He answered “No”Very frustrated at this point for wasting more of my time I calmed myself and asked if any other stores may have one? He directed me to a store in North Kansas City, about an hour away and gave me the phone number to the store. Before driving out there I called the store and was once again told “Sorry we have none in stock” I asked why it’s showing available? and I was told “It’s because they have a display model” 😠 very frustrated i once again asked the obvious question, if the display is showing available for purchase can I buy the display??Once again I was told “no” I went through a similar fiasco months ago over an office chair. At this point I’m taking my business to Amazon, Office Depo has lost my business as I’ve wasted far too many hours running store to store over this confusion. I actually paid Twice the cost on Amazon because it’s cheaper than the opportunity cost of dealing with Office Depo.

Continue to cut services and customer service and charge more and more. No walk in printing, 24 hour orders only. Company policy is what I am told they no longer do walk in printing. Apparently those customers arent important.

Was buying a lot of stuff from this place lately but recently I bought something that was labeled on the shelf as being $67, but when I brought it up to the cash register, it was rung up at $90. Please make sure the labels on the shelves have the correct price and are for the right item.The thin young man with blonde hair for some reason wanted to walk me through the steps of how to use a debit card machine even though Ive probably been using a debit card longer than hes been alive...

I had a banner made and the 1st one didn’t come out the way I wanted. Ivan was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. He went over what I wanted, showed it to me on the screen and the end result was absolutely beautiful!!

I had a problem with an incomparable ink cartridge and Johnathan worked with me to make things right, giving me information for support if the new cartridge didn’t work. However, it did work and all is well. Thank you, Johnathan, for your patience in helping me today.

Terrible service and accountability in the print and copy center - I am driving to KC to Staples. Out of 5 simple print orders only one was done correctly. They wont redo orders screwed up without you telling them exact date and cant seem to find anything in their system regarding your account.

This is no way to do business. Store hours clearly marked on web and on store front. However They are NOT Open at the time they say they are. I arrived 30 min after they should have been open and they werent. Their employees were standing around outside.

Theres more here than you might think. Awesome selection of computer accessories. The cashier gave me a discount for signing up for their rewards program! Awesome! Will return in the future.

Staff is always extremely rude and almost act like you’re putting them out of their way for the easiest jobs. They also speak to their customers in condescending tones if they aren’t understanding of how something works. Work on your customer service please and thank you.

Absolutely terrible!!! Went in to look at desks and I ask about one desk they cant offer it to me. Look at another desk and they cant offer that one either. Why have them as display if they are sold out in store and online?

Although it felt nostalgic going into the store from back in the early 2000s, the store itself is a mess. It is hard to find products, they are overpriced and on top the GM is rude and unpleasant. She just glared at me over returns.However, other staff was friendly and normal.I felt like i was 5 again going into office depot. They havent changed a thing or modernized anything which was fun, except the people.

My husband took his resume in to have it Professionally done. When he picked it up there was 26 errors. Because he was in a hurry there was no time to look over it. He took it back and they argued that he took it and they were charging him more to fix it. Got it back today still has errors. He didnt want to deal with them again so he brought it home.There was no apologies as to the amount of errors. This is unacceptable and I hope no one else has to deal with this.

No stars. It was made clear to me that the customer doesnt count at this company. They are about the sale, then you are on your own. Dont patronize this establishment. Id give them no stars if it was possible.

Unlike BB the sales staff actually ask you if they can help and are capable. Overall good experience. They still are a business oriented store.

Everytime that I go to this store I receive great customer service. DJ is especially helpful and I still appreciate the interaction of a brick and mortar store.

Rebate program is deceptive! Employees dont have knowledge about it and official handout in store says nothing about how long to post rewards to your account or how long the rewards are good for. BEWARE OF TRICKERY.

NEVER buy any equipment here. A printer only 75 days old that gave an error code and will not work cannot be returned here. They refuse to help citing HP return policy, and that is mailing my broken printer to them and giving my debit card info to someone in India and waiting 4 weeks for another refurbished piece of trash. This store refused to help after making the sale. DONT be fooled they just want money then have nothing to do with you. Go somewhere that will assist if something goes wrong.No wonder I saw 1 customer in the store. Go out of business. No one will be sad.

Megan is a super star. She helps us to order a toner that is not available in the store. She helps me set up an account, and order the right toner for me. I feel that store has most of the things you need for school, office and church with all very very friendly and helping staffs.

A really good Office Supply store, but I love this place because of their printing capabilities . . . Ive been able to get full color posters printed, same-day, for exceptional rates and with exceptional quality.

They helped me with a last minute order and checked stock of items at their other store. So helpful.

This is a good store for copy and print solutions, but the prices on their technology items and regular office supplies are pretty outrageous. Unfortunately most often youre looking for something that usually you could find on Amazon or elsewhere for significantly cheaper.

I have been there a number of times in the past to see if I could get something listed in one of their Big Book catalogs and, though they are supposed to have the same prices in store that they have in the catalogs and newspaper circulars, the prices in this store are always considerably higher. Thus, the only times I go there now are when I have an immediate need, such as a requirement for a special color of paper for a print job. Other than that, I use another vendor.Oh, and something else that I should say is that the store manager says that the catalog prices are only for those who order by telephone or online but if that is the case, then why am I able to go to the stores in either Topeka or Kansas City and find the prices in the catalogs match what is on their shelves? The Lawrence store is just trying to gouge because there is very little competition in town: M&M Office Supply downtown, while a good store with friendly people, has much higher prices as their primary business is not the retail side. Strong Office Supply went by the wayside long ago. Kaw Valley Office Supply was a short-lived experiment. OfficeMax (formerly BizMart) has never ventured into town. So, Office Depot has the unwary local shoppers well in hand. Take my advice: shop in Topeka or Kansas City and avoid the local store.
