Grabbed a bottle of champagne for a family celebration and it was ridiculously overpriced, particularly when I compared it to other liquor stores within a mile radius (at least $10+ more). I’m not sure what’s “discount” about this location, but buyer beware. Not to mention, Jennifer gave horrible service while checking me out and after the fact when I called about price matching (she hung up on me when I noted the exorbitant price).

I was refused entry for not wearing a mask. Even though medical exemptions are allowed by the CDC and local government, this business chooses to discriminate against people with medical issues. They do not offer free masks, nor did they allow me to use my shirt to cover up my mouth and nose.

Never spending money here again.

Great Selection, and prices are a lot cheaper than anywhere on 23rd street. Plus side is they have a freezer for frozen beverages unlike other stores who sell them room temperature and make you freeze them at home.

The gentleman who helped me find the clydesdale Budweiser cans was really kind and I enjoyed joking with him and they have a wide beer selection.

Best prices from what I can tell. I always seem a little disappointed when I try a different store. One of the other bigger liquor stores in town had gave me issues two or three trips in a row with mispriced items or something. Now its this one and I have recommended it on multiple occasions. Employees have always been good also.

Kansas Crown Discount Liquor does not deserve one star. The owners are unapologetic ableists who wrongfully accused a disabled woman of shoplifting, called the police to file a report, then deserted their case after it had progressed to the court. The court tossed the citation for theft due to the repeated no show of the owners at the courts scheduled proceedings and insufficient evidence. The result of their inhumane treatment toward the wrongfully accused has been far reaching and extremely detrimental to her well being and sense of self worth. To ridicule and add burden to the most vulnerable in our society is unconscionable. They shamed a loyal customer, took away a place of comfort from someone who often suffers harassment due to people lacking a conscience or awareness. I will never patronize this establishment again and further encourage others to shop elsewhere as well. Their service isnt simply Poor, it is discriminatory.
