Huge huge selections. I walk in with one idea and walk out with 10 wines. Love the selections and I can’t seem to pick just one thing. They are the best liquor store I’ve seen in Kansas and choose them every time I’m needing to “wine” down after a hard day.

One of the best selections of wine Ive encountered. I guarantee there is something here for you. Theyve also got a varied selection of beers and someone on staff is going to be able to help you find what youre looking for and be at least generally knowledgeable of whats each drink is. The store is neatly organized and very easy to navigate.

Best selection of wine and liquors in Kansas City and Lawerence..Ive called about 20 liquor stores for this one type of wine and surprisingly its becoming rare but they had it you can almost buy 3 bottles with a 10$ bill..Excellent customer service also..I couldnt find it and she took me straight to it..Will come here again even if it takes and hour to get here..lol

Curbside pickup, monthly specials. Both are good reasons to come here. It usually seems like getting a good deal, and convenient.

I love to try different beers and the back wall here is perfect for that. Theres a huge selection of single bottles to pick from. Employees are helpful, too. Theyll walk you to what you need of youre looking for something specific in order to make sure you find it.

Arguably the best liquor store in Lawrence. An amazing selection of almost everything. Im a big fan of Scotch whisky and tequila. C&B has a full aisle of each. Not to mention the high-end stuff in the special section.Last and maybe best, their prices are very competitive and they give a 10% discount on spirits on Monday. Awesome.

Well I came in for 1 item & I dont actually drink & Im from out of town but was passing through looking for the crown royal from super bowl package & I told yje lady working there how beautiful I thought she was & all she and this blonde girl was worried about was a mask which I said I didnt need especially if they didnt have what I was looking for. So as I followed her to the counter 4 her 2 hand me the mask the nice lady behind the counter just said we sold out a while ago, & wont get anymore, she handed me the mask I handed it back after the cashier told me her part, & said see no I didnt actually need it but thanks...

Sweet Jesus. within 3 min 5 separate people asked me if I needed help. you have a wall of beer how about letting someone actually peruse the beer. is it because I am black I almost wish it was a race thing. at least then there would be some reason for me to be accosted every 5 paces by an employee. I mean come on did you really need me out of the store in 6 minutes. I am just never going back.

I won’t be shopping there again. I went in and was greeted and then told it was store policy to hold handbags while people shop. I reluctantly agreed to let them take my purse. I was really annoyed as I was shopping and noticed a couple of other women who still had their purses. When I made my purchase I was the only one who had to ask for my purse back so I could make my purchase. I kicked myself for purchasing anything at all!! I’m not sure how they decide who needs their purses held...but if they are gonna do it then they need to do it to everyone or not at all!!

Went to the new location for the first time. Its in where the old Hobby Lobby used to be across the street. It looks like theyre still setting up some areas. Bigger than the old place its set up nicely and as usual the staff is friendly and helpful.

Totally impressed with the selection and range of prices for the wine and craft beer. We found one of our favorite wines at a better price than anywhere else. The employees were helpful and friendly. Glad to have this option when we visit family in the area.

HUGE SELECTION! they have a ton of wines - higher end all the way down to barefoot and the like. They even have a row of local wines! Additionally, they have a fairly big selection of spirits as well as lower alcohol content drinks (seltzers, beers, etc)

Great customer service, selection, and prices. My one stop shop for beer and liquor. They have cold cases of 16 oz Bud Lights and cheap Vodka, which is the best kind. They also have free samples and wine tasting on Fridays. I suck at wine tasting, but its free and you also get crackers. They have shopping carts too, which is handy when youre buying more than one case of Bud Light.

Best place in Lawrence to purchase any kind of alcohol. They have a huge selection of every spirit, wine and beer you could think of plus many more items you wouldnt. Their shelves are often stocked and orderly making things easy to find and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Theres even a little wine tasting area that Ive been meaning to try for forever.

Ive been a loyal customer for years. This is a great store with a great variety of beer, wines, and spirits at competitive prices. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Managers Jana and Clinton make an effort to get to know you and always there to help pick the right libation that fits your need.

This review is for the 23rd St. store. Im torn on what to rate this. On the one hand, they offer a good selection of wines and liquors; I cant speak to the affordability, as these are prices that are similar in cost to Kansas City, so theyve always seemed on par to me. On the other hand, the staff is rude, and thats on a good day. During this pandemic, they offer a curbside pickup, which is GREAT for people in high-risk categories who shouldnt be going into businesses (per CDC and KS state guidelines). So Bravo, thank you. However, they used to accept payments over the phone, but on my visit today, the staff informed me theyre no longer able to offer that service because of recent issues with fraud. I absolutely understand that fraud is a serious issue for any business, but the new policy wouldve been nice to know prior to placing the order and driving to the store, since theyve been able to process my card twice over the phone in the past. I told the staff member I didnt come with mask, gloves, etc., and he said, its ok with us if its ok with you. ...Dude, Im asking for curbside pick-up, do you think its ok with me? He didnt offer any options that didnt involve interaction with a staff person and was rude, basically stating that the owner would fire him if he processed the order over the phone. So maybe this should be a review for the owner/general manager? Find a way to take credit cards without customer-staff interaction. Or offer alternate payment methods. Check or cash left in the trunk? Paypal? If your staff is that blasé with every customer regarding safety, why should I risk shopping there right now?

Huge selection of alcohol. Larger than most other liquor stores in the area and in a great location off 23rd and Iowa which is right in the middle of town. Not far for most people to get to. Cashier was very friendly. Will be going back again!

They have all the taps hanging inches away from the toilet in the employees only restroom! Just know if you do any wine or beer tasting that it may very well be completely unsanitary. Good selection of wine though.

I was in the store for nearly half and hour looking for a not easily found liquor.I cant say if the staff was rude they never stopped talking to each other enough for me to have a definitive answer, although I have my suspicions...The only person who spoke to me was an employee eating his lunch as I was legitimately halfway out the door.
