Selective fresh produce, wide selection range and availability. Halal meat is also available. Fresh sweet selection available. Even herbal cosmetic products are also available. Overall good quality products but few things may cost more then other desi grocery stores locally but mostly reasonable price. The guy working there is very friendly and helpful.

The place is very unorganized and very unattractive. Now looks like they are doing some improvement to the place but otherwise you will find a lot of expired stuff and lot of stuff without any price tags. Will think twice before shopping at this place.

This place has lost its reputation. Took chicken and lamb meat from them and the meat they gave was pathetic. Wasnt cleaned properly and the lamb meat felt like it was hard plastic fake meat. If there was a negstive rating I would have given them -10. Pathetic and worthless.

Vegetables section is almost none. Not very well organized. I would rather travel few more miles to the main Indus store in Silver Spring.

Walked right by the vegetables so cant say how fresh they were. Rest of the place was really well organized and sorted, isles can be a little tight to move around in with a basket in hand. If you are not familiar with the store, just ask for help they are friendly and helpful. They carry methi and monago and kulfi ice cream also. Somosa are available also.

Indus food always has the halal food that you need

The original Indian grocery store (before the others came in). The produce is a bit lacking and not fresh but youll find everything else you need (spices, bread, Naan, halal meat). This is where I go regularly for my cooking needs.

An excellent Indian/paki grocery store with very fair prices and nice cashiers. The selection is always great; I only wished fresh produce was offered.

Nice place with a decent variety of goods. Certain parts of the store get a bit cramped up for multiple to walk simultaneously.

One star review because a lower rating is not possible. Typical dishonest desi store with mostly expired items. When confronted, instead of showing any decency or any semblance of customer service, or showing an attempt to rectify the issue (Long shot, I know. Too much to expect from this class of people), they resort to lying and accusing the customer/reviewer.I have no hope for them and I do not go there. Unfortunately I had to make a desi food purchase and didnt have the time to go to another store so decided to give them another chance (more like it was convenient for me). I wanted to buy some mango pulp and every single can of pulp had the expiry date removed, rubbed off, or inked over. On one brand of mango pulp, a new fake expiry date had been printed and glued over the original one.Unless the desi community gets its head out of its point-of-contact and demand honesty from those that serve them we will continue to suffer at the hands of corrupt and dishonest people like them.

They sell spices, raw food, breakfast items, frozen food, rotis, naan, parathas, fresh sweets from shiny sweets of VA and zabiha halal meat.Their indeed have good food range.Staff is goodTaking 2 stars away for 2 reasons1: lots of food is expired or there is no expiration date on it.2: some of the items are overly expensive.

Yawar and the guys are really nice here. I always go here for ghee, daal, chai, pickle, etc.

I bought over $100 of spicies they didnt reduce the price,Each shan packet $1.29.I told him kindly call to the owner he he call. The owner didnt reduce.I am from Phoenix AZHe have a store called Asians its like Lotto or Grand Mart or global..Even they have 0.99 for shan masala.I thought due to they received shipping from new York city and can reduce some $$.But they have to make$$ .Agree. No issues.I encourage keep shopping w them.Thats how we will grow.Inshallah
