Bought this case of mangoes just yesterday. Tried one today. Totally sour. Called BB talked to Shradha-she said no exchanges. She said you are stuck w it. Asked to talked to the owner- she said their instructions are you deal with it and not to disturb them. And each time i spend close to a $100 each visit there. They cant even exchange a bad product just after a day
Nice store with very good selection. But some issues with Toor dal there. Bugs in the dal, unfortunately. I am hoping they will take the product back and make sure that it doesnt happen again with that brand and distributor
I was able to find fresh Indian vegetables here. Produce is very fresh. I was able find my spices as well.
Well organized and clean. They have a variety of Indian groceries, spices and all other ingredients required for Indian and other oriental cuisine.
This is a great Indian Grocery store for quick and easy shopping. It has a variety to choose from and then sum. They also provide opportunity for smaller merchants to provide fresh snacks or sell homemade jewelry.
Great selection of Indian groceries! Clean store, and helpful staff. Parking is very easy. This is my go to place for my Indian grocery needs!
A variety of products, spices. You will find pretty much everything that you need. I would buy items that I wont find at regular stores. I just think that prices for certain items are sky high..
The best Indian grocery store I have come across in the DMV area. I moved here from Raleigh, NC and the lack of Indian stores was disconcerting. This store is amazing and has all your Indian grocery needs. I will definitely be going here again and again.
Really good Indian super market. They have almost everything you would need. I have been trying to find tutti frutti in US and this was one of the only places that stocked them. Lot of options in vegetables too.
The store was well stocked and they have items that I have not been able to find elsewhere.
I regularly shop here and like this place. However, recently I bought a carrom board from here. This was my second carrom board from this place. They have 7 days return policy but the carrom board wood started to get crooked and uneven. I tried few things to make board stay flat but it wont. I took the board back to the store and showed to the employees who also agreed that the board is not playable anymore. This is a $70 plus dollar item and it went bad within less than a month. But, the store clerk were not given approval by the manager on the phone for an exchange. They said the manager would give me a call back but didnt. I called back again for several days but cant reach the manager. No, I wont shop here anymore.
A little over expensive but they have most of the stuff.
Its little pricey, the staff never smiles. Shields should be filled faster.
My wife loves this place..Its now a weekly stop for her for groceries, along with Wegmans.
Its expensive as compared to other indian/pakistani stores but there inventory is good.
It is a good Indian store. Has enough popular veggies like loki karela bhindi etc. Has limited fruits options--papaya, banana and guavas. Has decent amount of frozen options both in food and bread. But it is limited unlike Patel Brothers.Fortunately they have Haldiram paneer which is way ahead of other brands in taste and texture.
Its a decent indian store. I wish they had more selection of vegetables; otherwise, they have the usual variety of ethnic indian food items.
I love this store. The prices are reasonable. The selection is great. We always find something new to try. The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is kept very clean. The owners are active and present. The samosas are worth a try, but heat them first. The ginger candies are better than any cough drops.
This is pretty cool Indian Grocery storeVery knowledgeable and friendly employees
Fresh produce with a variety of indian food
This was a very nice grocery store has a lot of specialty items and I was able to find fresh curry leaves here. I also found they had good prices on rice and spices. This is a great place to add to lay low for finding specialty Indian spices and ingredients. The staff was very nice and helpful.
One of the best Indian markets in the area
One of the best Indian Stores in the US. I have been to many Indian stores along the east coast as well as the west coast – Big Bazaar is the best. The store is clean and well organized. It is not at all congested. A person can move freely without knocking anything from the opposite side. Everyone at the store from the boss to the stock boy are pleasant and courteous and always willing to help. The produce that they sell is clean and fresh. If you ever get a chance to visit the store please, please do so. You will not regret. Big Bazaar is located in Laurel, Maryland.
Great selection of dried and frozen goods, veggies, and sweets. Rotating selection of fried snacks (samosas, etc.) at checkout vary in quality and freshness. Perhaps the cleanest and freshest selection in the area, but not as many niche items.
More than anything this place has variety n well organized. Lady at the register was very friendly.
An average place. They have increased the prices steeply. Items that are usually $9.99-$11.99 are being sold for $19.99. These guys should be reported to the Food and Health Agency and BBB. Poor Customer Service and Over priced.
Wow! Just opened and we found so many Indian foods to prepare or already prepared! Lots of fresh vegetables to choose from and spices!! Frozen foods available. Some cooking utensils, Indian jewelry and scarves for sale too! Large free parking area, handicapped accessible. Not sure about public restrooms. Large assortment of everything! Extremely kind and helpful employees! Will be returning for more! Highly recommend, especially if you like Indian cuisine, like I do!
Lots of variety, you can find all you need in this one store. Ample of parking space. One thing they have only one checking counter so might have to wait during rush times. Suggestion :- have a quick check out counter for fewer items.
Ive been going to Indian grocery stores for years, this is by far one of the best. When they first opened it was just a store with a large selection of product. Now they have people asking to help you and bringing you carts if you need one. They have home made Indian food they give out to sample and overall hospitality is great. Smiles on everyones faces and very polite staff. Honestly, best experience I have had. Very clean store.
100 times better service than the Patel Brothers. ...enough said!!
You know when you come across something special, and Big Bazaar is certainly wonderful! The staff are really helpful, the store is clean & well organized, the produce is fresh, and they have wonderful offerings of items here! Their selection of spices is excellent and their fresh samosas are a must try! This really is the best Indian supermarket in the DC area!
Big bazar is very well stocked nice n clean Indian grocery store. Lots of variety.. very helpful and friendly staff.. Recently we found vegan punjabi samosas from there and they are delicious.. Thank you for caring it because it’s very hard to find delicious vegan samosa from any stores. Thank you 🌱
Beautiful, large store with great selection! Fresh produce is awesome! Spices, frozen, snacks, beauty, puja items, cooking utensils, everything you could want! Friendly and helpful staff. You will find all of your needs! Convenient location, lots of parking, excellent prices. So happy to have found you!
This location is in a good busy shopping center. The staff was clueless when we had a few common questions and did not put fourth any effort in sourcing the items requested. The store is quite unclean and has a very steong herb smell. Only one register open so it took fifteen minutes to get checked out with one item. Not returning
You can find probably every kind of Indian food, produce, spice, rice etc here. Not a huge place but its stocked with a ton of stuff. I learned a few things about Indian cuisine here.
Im very impressed with Big Bazaar, its very clean well organized, friendly staff, fresh produce and the price is right!
This place is truly phenomenal! Great selection of spices, teas, grains, and more at unbeatable prices. This is by far the cleanest, most organized Indian store in the area. The service is excellent!!
This place is much better and bigger than Patel Brothers on University Boulevard. Reasonable Price, friendly staffs, and good selections of items
Giving Big Bazaar 5 stars because its rare for an Indian store to be this clean and large (well-stocked). I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. They have fresh produce, a friendly and kind family running the business, and plenty of mango juice. All a girl could want out of her Indian grocery store.
Only visited the Shopping Center as cite seeing.
Fantastic store- they have fresh produce and a large variety of products at very fair prices sometimes even cheaper than other stores! friendly service and very clean. Double Thumbs up!
Great place for Indian grocery shopping… A variety of fresh vegetables, quality products for competitive prices and always have great deals. Plus, the owners are very friendly. Truly is a BIG Bazaar!
Great place for Indian grocery. Great people and great service. I really liked it. Wide variety of option for Indian food. I highly recommend this place for Indian grocery shopping.
Good people. Very good customer service and wide variety of general and ethnic food stuffs and produce. I recommend.
A great variety of products, I found mostly everything I could ever need when it comes to Indian grocery items. Prices are competitive, vegetables were mostly all fresh. I will definitely be visiting often.
Excellent place to visit to buy groceries. Very friendly customer service. Clean environment and wide variety of quality products to choose from. Definitely recommend visiting and supporting them.
Great store and great customer service. Love that I could get some spices, that you don’t see at most grocery stores!
Its one of the best (cleanliness, stock, variety) Indian grocery stores in the area. The only problem I have is that its obvious theyre trying to make money from little things. One thing I want to pick on is cilantro. Usually youll see cilantro tied in zip-tie from whichever company (similar to SuperBest or Giant), but here it is obvious that the cilantro was divided into bunches and sold at a higher price. They used to sell it in the big bunch but just recently they changed their techniques, why?? Not the best way to make money.
Its good to have options to get Indian food ingredients and this location in Laurel is good. The grains and lintels are priced right, ok variety of fruits and vegetables.
Super market is super easy to find out the needed items
Very well stocked. We refill our snack supplies here.
Very well organized with good selection of desi grocery! Prices are reasonable.
Neat, clean, has all the spices I was looking for! Cardamom, clove.. fresh veggies, inexpensive. And you can get your eyebrows done!
Prices are kinda high compared to Patel brothers and Indus in laurel. Patel and Indus have competitive pricing on almost all products. The only good thing about this store is fresh produce. Pricing is high.
I can always find the products I am looking for. They have great specials. They are nice and helpful. The place is clean. I like their choices
Good store with good choices. Parking becomes an issue during weekends. Next door barber shops SUV is always parallel parked across the big bazaar customer parking spaces. They need to address this issue. Fresh vegetables prices have also gone up since the start of the lockdown. The nearby korean grocery store has cheaper vegetables lately.
Good indian store in this area. Some of the items are over priced. But you will get most of the produces and groceries from here.Customer service is also good.
Spices galore. Prices to die for. If you love to cook a d eat and love fresh food and spices then go shop enjoy the spices.
Its a good Indian store
ITS OKAY! STORE .
One of the best store I have visited for Indian groceries. Store is very clean. The store owner and his wife are very helpful.
They literally havr everything i need every time, and customer service is fantastic, I love all thing international, because Im international 💓💓
Its a ok type of indian supermarket. The veggies were not that fresh, maybe bcoz of memorial day. Had decent options in Indian grocery stuff. Most of the things were priced on slightly pricey side compared to other Indian supermarket in the DMV area. The store had a weird smell . Ok if you need some Indian stuff urgently
I think this place has one of the best collection of flours and different pickles and chutnies.
I love this place, it has everything that you need and most importantly its been maintained neat and clean. I have been visiting this store from an year and I have no complains.
Convenient place...you get everything fresh and with lots of options...ample parking space... friendly staff
Great selections of everything you need for Indian cooking. Very clean and organized. You must visit the shop.
Good selection of Indian grocery items. Additionally they have snacks corner also. Prices are same in compare to any Indian grocery store.
Good quality and variety. One of the best Indian stores Ive been to in Maryland.
I love this store, great customer service, good pricing friendly staff and wide variety of Indian snacks, spices, vegetables etc.. the first time when I visited the store I was amazed by the Indian environment.. best Indian store in DMV... highly recommended..
Good place to shop .. wish they had food court or something
I was able to get the product I needed.
Nice and helpful staff. Reasonably good choices.
Fresh veggies no expired stuff. Well maintained try fresh samosas here
Good stock, fresh, but most important is the helpful staff. The counter lady is especially energetic and helpful
Very helpful staff. Lots of great items! Fun visit.
Great place to shop for Indian grocery and fresh vegetables..clean and organized..good customer service.
I bought Mehndi pdr and cone but both have no color seems they are expired.During festival it feels bad when you buy things and they are not worth it and you cannot change at last minute.
They have a good variety of Indian grocery. Wish the parking lot was more convenient.
Good selection of all the essentials. They really do have large sized packages for many items
Nice and clean environment, everything was well organized, fresh stocks(specially packaged items), very friendly and helpful owners(Lavanya) and good pricing n deals. Highly recommend this.
Great variety of Indian supplies. One of the bigger Indian store in the area.
Everything you need to get you started cooking from scratch Indian style
Not the best Indian grocery store, but this is the best in Laurel. You will probably find what you are looking for here (for Indian groceries).
Best place to buy Indian Food .And they are providing almost all Indian things .
Everyone is Very Helpful and Friendly. Thank you.
You can find all your Indian groceries here and good quality too.
Cheap chapatis. Would not recommend buying sweets from here, but everything else is good
Great little shop for your Indian food needs. Highly recommend.
Great selection of Indian groceries
Great place for a food lifestyle change💪
I like Bigbazar. They deliver grocery stuff as regular price and fresh .
Good store and friendly staff. Great prices!
Narrow aisles but Good Selection s Will be Back
Place is nice clean and good availability of Indian grocery.
Good selection of spices to create an authentic flavorful meal.
I live in the area from 17 year and shops indian grocery from local business .In my opinion this store has 0 customer service .They are only expert in selling .after sale when you return something the ownerMr pabari dont have any courtesy to come out to resolve your issue.beware of this type of local businesss who only want to deal with selling something after sale is over who are you??I dont recommend shopping here at all. Also I was not returning something that I bought it from outside it was just purchased 10 minutes ago. I was polite enough to ask for replacement of broken parts and I requested the owner three times to come out and take a look .anyway This is a good example for other customers to view your policy in advance .By the way item was only 6.99 $ and replacement cost is very minor but your attitude in dealing with issues shows 0 credibility. As a business owner you must have not heard a word customer retention?
Went several time, still it is the best Bazaar.
I bought couple sweets (kalachand and ladoos) from this store. Kalachand had some mold or fungus. One of the family members had stomachache followed by diarrhea for two days. It is store responsibility to check the food quality. I am never going back to this store and I do not recommend this store.
