Great bread and ingredients but small portions on the sandwich. Thai Iced Tea is from concentrate and doesnt taste very good.

Just ordered a milk iced coffee for 4.50... the whole cup was full of crushed ice. I took 5 sips and finished it!

They messed up on a order and they had no problem fixing it and even threw in a little extra in the side.kid Friendly.The size of the baguettes are huge relative to the price. You definitely can get more here than say Subway. A footlong here is less than $5!The texture on the Baguettes here are extra crunchy outside and soft inside.Not only do they have sandwiches, they have Chicken nuggets, salad rolls, egg rolls and chicken wings.

Food is good; coffee was extremely hot though. I had to wait awhile before drinking so I wouldnt scald my mouth. Also there were people smoking right out front and I could smell it every time the door opened.

Sandwiches are expensive compared to real Bahn Mi places but theyre big... But theyre mostly bread... But the bread is good. :DI keep makong the mistake of getting their coffee which tastes like 7-11 coffee. I love vietnamese iced coffee but this is far from my happy place.I blame it on the franchise. Back in the day, like decades ago, Lees was a name you could trust but it hasnt been this way in a long time. I forget.

Overpriced and mediocre. Sandwiches are okay, but you are better off going the three or so blocks over to Best Baguette if you are in the neighborhood. Not worth the almost $5 for the vegetarian thing we bought. Also they are SUPER stingy with the ice coffee. They have a sign saying they wont fill the cup if you order with less ice or no ice. Expected maybe only 3/4 filled, but when I got my large coffee, it was only half filled with ice and coffee(If you let them, they fill pack the cup with crush iced and then pour coffee in, so I am not sure which is worse). Will not buy from them again. Too many other banh mi and bubble tea options that have better quality and way better price point.

I used to love this place but the quality has taken a turn sadly. My sandwich was caked in mayo and the BBQ pork meat was barely seasoned... And I got skimped on extra meat even though I paid for it.. hopefully it was just a fluke... Sadly for now Ill have to find another sandwich shop.

The skimping is real. Be careful of bones if you ordered sandwich with grilled meat, or you may lose a tooth or two.

Have yet to try a sandwich but their bread is amazing if you like to make your own sandwiches at home. They also have good croissants and French horns.

There begets are very tasty and crispy. So best beget sandwitchs in my opinion. The iced coffee is delicious and tastes a bit like coco truffles. They also have a number of yummy European desserts like French Horns filled with cream to powdered puffs. Would visit again.

Sandwiches are skimpy. I paid for extra ingredients, but they didnt put them in my sandwich. Coffee is good but expensive compared to other places.

Ordered online. Images showed stuffed baguettes... Upon receipt, the combo had some substance (only due to requesting added quick pickles & jalapeño slices), the meatball was flacid and almost bread only..., The veggie sandwich was an unidentifiable assortment of bits. Until the bread was peeled back, it was unclear there was anything inside. For the price paid, the sandwiches couldve been packed with veg and... All the goodies I look forward to when I get a bahn mi.

TLDR: cheap sandwiches but they skimp out on the goods.Let me just start off my saying that although the sandwiches are good and the toppings seem fresh, they really skimp out on the protein. I ordered the Pork Roll sandwich and I felt like I was eating just bread because the meat was just one row thick. I had to chuckle at the employee that was on his lunch break with a fully loaded meaty sandwich that was more meat than bread! I did one of those double takes and then stared at my sad scrawny sandwich. Haha!Small sandwich shop. Be mindful of where you sit--there is a chilling breeze if you sit too close to the door when I opens and there are ventilation ducts that point downward over some tables. They have snacks and drinks available for purchase scattered about.Service: grab non-sandwich items that you push to purchase, order and pay at the front, seat yourself, your number will be called by a PA system.They have no teas or bubble teas (at least when I went around noon on a Saturday). Only smoothies were available.You cant really go wrong with any sandwich type--its just the that they skimp out on the toppings, especially the protein. I always love the pickled carrots/radish and cilantro in the sandwiches. Pork roll is my favorite deli meat because it isnt too salty or sweet.

Amazing fresh rolls, I highly recommend the BLT on baguette, with jalapeños instead of banana pepper if you are looking for something a little more spicy. I would also advice just get it wrapped in paper (save on the plastic box). Very fast service as well!

Excellent food - great vegetarian chay - best Ive found in town for my tastes. Love the sesame balls and the veggie spring rolls and they bake wonderful bread to sell.

Customer service is 10/10!! Little on the pricey side but DEFINITELY WORTH it. Food is delicious. Not just the sandwiches & drinks, but their spring rolls w/peanut sauce and pork buns are sooo yummy😋 would eat here every day if I didnt live so far out.

My quest for the best banh me took me to Lees this week. I had heard about this place from a customer of mine so i gave it a shot. So Im not here.to trash anyone so i still gave them a 4. I know their bread is fresh but i prefer crunchy outside and theirs was a more chewy consistency. I also thought the flavor was good but could have used more carrott and daikon. Ive had much better. Look at my other reviews.

Whenever I’m in Portland, I always visit this place. I grew up in SoCal so there are plenty of these around, but not so much in the PNW.Usually my visits at Lee’s are only mediocre but today was different. I believe either the manager or own was working today. He displayed exceptional hospitality and customer service. I am very satisfied and enjoyed my banh mi and coffee. Would recommend.

Banh Mi is pretty good, but 4 stars for smoothies, ice coffees and paté chaud.

1st time, ordered spring rolls, it took 15 mins. 2nd time, ordered the same spring roll, it took them 25 mins. The spring rolls are good, but not worth the long wait.

Its a good place. The lady who brought me the binh mi bok kho gave me a big smile last night. Very nice and friendly. Its $6.99. And the binh mi curry chicken is probably among the best curry I have ever had. The sitting area is relatively clean.

Such a over-price place. Bought a sandwich of pork belly and ham, they place exactly one thin sliced of ham and one thin sliced of belly pork and charging customer for 4.49. The taste is ok not that great. Way too over-price and expensive. Refer other banh mi places.
