Nick Cutlip took great care of me when purchasing my vehicle. He did not pressure me into anything and made sure I was happy with everything involving my purchase. I had to bring the vehicle back to have new tires put on it and he called to make sure that process was smooth as well. Great customer service! Go see Nick if youre in the market for a new vehicle.

BEWARE OF MISLEADING RE-SERVICING POLICY AND WAIVER OF DIAGNOSTIC FEE (11.05.2021)You will pay a diagnostic fee ($170) twice (or more) if they dont solve the issue the first time, EVEN IF you had to bring your car back in to resolve the same exact problem that they shouldve fixed the first time. They represented to me they had a policy to waive the diagnostic fee under these circumstances, which would have been a sensible policy and indicates they stand behind their initial work. BUT THIS IS NOT THE CASE. PLEASE BEWARE, and read on further for more details.I had my 2011 Hyundai Sonata brought in to diagnose the cause of an engine light. I paid the $170 diagnostic fee, and the dealer found a set of two codes that was causing the issue. I had the car repaired to the tune of $900 (including the diagnostic fee).A week later, the engine light turned back on. I brought back in to the dealer, but inquired whether the diagnostic fee would apply again. They said it would not apply if the codes that come back up are the same ones related to the first visit.Sure enough, it was the identical codes that came up the second time around. I decided not to proceed with additional repairs and to just take car back. However, I was told that I would be charged the $170 diagnostic fee. I asked why that was the case when I was told that the diagnostic fee would not be charged if the same codes as the first visit came back up--the same codes coming back up indicates that they did not identify and resolve the issue the firsts time I brought the car in. That they had a policy to waive the diagnostic fee under these circumstances would be sensible and indicates they stand behind their initial work.It turns out that their policy, however, is that they wont charge you another diagnostic fee FOR THE SAME CODES but only if the problem is directly related to the original repair work they did. You could imagine how absurd this is: (1) You come in the first time for a diagnostic, get some codes, and pay to fix the issue producing those codes; (2) You come in a second time for a diagnostic, get the same codes, but now they are attributed to something else (that couldve and shouldve been resolved the first time), so you pay the diagnostic fee anyways. Essentially, the waiver of the diagnostic fee is meaningless since there will always be another problem causing the SAME CODES you can in to get fixed the first time.

One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had!!!!! Due to being in a chapter 13 for the first time this was a little unusual but my salesman Nick Cutlip made it great!!!!!! From March until everything was approved Nick checked in through texts an phone calls!!! My new 2021 Nissan Altima is a dream!!!!! I am in a BK7 and had to surrender my car. Well got the flyer from Nick and decided to give it a try. Well, I now have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata in the payment range I can afford. Even though I did have to put down a deposit, and Nick worked with me on that, everything went smoothly... Nick never gave up even when I did. I would like to say all was great, I got a great deal on my used car (so I thought) and the sales staff was very nice and professional. The finance staff was rather pushy but what car dealerships finance people arent? The reason for my poor review is due to the fact there was an accident on my vehicle that was not disclosed to me, at any point. And yes, I did ask specifically about the vehicles history, as any perspective used car buyer should should. I was informed it was a previous rental vehicle, but never, at any time whatsoever did they inform me there was an accident on the vehicles record. I did not find out until years later when I would go to trade my car in. At first I thought it was a fluke, then 2 more trade in attempts all told me there was an accident on this car. To say I am extremely disappointed is an understatement. Not only would I never purchase another vehicle from this dealership, unfortunately I would have to urge anyone else considering it not to either. My vehicle is now worth roughly half what I was under the assumption it was worth (including at the time of purchase). To all my military brothers and sisters in the area...please look elsewhere for your own sake!!

My Vehicle has been there since Saturday, July 17th, it is October 28th and I still dont have my car back. I get no updates I call and no one returns my calls. I have submitted a claim with the corporate office and still have no resolve. The lack of communication and follow-up is horrid. These last 3+ months have been the worst, I had no loaner vehicle until last week. I call weekly about status and I havent heard anything.

Im so happy with my purchase. I got a great out the door and monthly price so I wont have to worry about breaking the budget as a new grad! Nick is absolutely amazing and I would give him 6/5 stars if that was an option. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of every step of the way, even on his day off! I got my adorable teal Kona a little less than a month ago. I researched and went in knowing what I wanted. I also researched on dealerships in my area. Im pretty specific about what I want but not difficult to please. We walked in and were greeted nicely but not bombarded. We were introduced to Mr. BIJAN KARIMI. He was very chilled but VERY informed. Just the type of salesman one want when purchasing a new vehicle. I test drove the car and loved it. Took it home that day. There were a few hiccups but the powers they be at Ourisman Hyundai jumped on them right away and I am a happy Ourisman Hyundai Laurel KONA owner. I totally recommend them for your new and used car purchase. And DEFINITELY see MR.BIJAN KARIMI, hes the best!!

The trunk latch on my 2017 Sonora failed not an uncommon problem, on this model. Made an appointment for service on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Received two email confirmations of appointment. Arrived a bit early, but waited over a half hour for service writer who told me he was unable to do work, and I should come back later in the week. Did not provide remedy to temporarily close truck. Said it was major job when Internet says it is at best a 45 minute repair. Will not consider them for next car purchase.

Mike Robinson was my dealer and he was knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, honest, and overall is an awesome guy! My car buying experience was greater than expected. I gave the salesman Nick the runaround for weeks because I was fearful of purchasing a car during my bankruptcy process. He sent me a letter in the mail and I was happy to be considered for buying another car, but fearful of having a high car payment. I walked out of the dealership with a very nice deal. Nick told me that it would not take no more than 2 and a half hours and he was right. I got there at 3:00pm and was pulling off at 5:30pm. Everything was handled before I got to the dealership. In fact, he had to leave so he left me in good hands with Gary and Al. They were amazing as well. I give 5 stars to all of the workers because they were all professional, friendly, and genuine. They offered me water and allowed me to test drive the vehicle before the signing process. I will definitely do business here again because this was the best dealership that I have ever been too. Straight out of a bankruptcy, I brought a preowned Hyundai Sonata from Ourisman Hyundai. Ill never forget how professional and personable the salesman Nick was.Fast forward 4 years and a Nissan Altima later (Sonata was totaled). I decided to trade the Altima in. I reached out to SEVERAL Hyundai dealers. All had great offers ! But I decided to text Nick at Ourisman Laurel (yes I still had his # saved 4 yrs later).Went in on a Saturday already financed with my credit union. I test drove a Tucson and instantly fell in love ! My check wasnt enough, and I didnt want to request more money from my credit union. Nick and his manager (forgot his name), did all that they could to get me in the suv I desired. A few let downs, due to other dealers not having the suv in stock. I thought....well maybe its not meant to be. Nick and his manager worked their magic !!! They were able to get a 2022 Black Tucson Limited transferred from Dundalk, Md. Because there was a short wait for the vehicle to be brought over to the Laurel location, Nick offered several times to buy me lunch and even found me a charger so I could juice up my phone. Being modest I declined the lunch, but ate the Cheetos and cold water he gave me lol.* UPDATE*Forgot to mention, I was given top price for me 2019 Altima trade in. Bought A truck from here June 2021, and was told by Hess Darvish my first payment wouldn’t be due until august of 2021, long story short my first payment is due in July of 2021, no big deal so I called Hess Darvish for clarification I left a message and no call back at all. Finally I went back to the dealership and spoke with mr Darvish where he pretty much called me a liar to my face, sad thing is it’s wouldn’t have been a deal breaker with the purchase of the truck but I was always a believer that your word is your bond and it’s not when it comes to mr Darvish avoid him at all cost.Glen Jones my salesman 5 stars he answered every question I needed for my truck and I’m thankful for him making my first truck purchase an easy deal

I had a terrible experience doing business with Ourisman Hyundai of Laurel. I purchased a new vehicle in February 2021, which included the purchase of an extended coverage warranty. I decided to cancel the Platinum coverage warranty in March 2021. This process was extremely difficult with numerous unanswered calls and emails to Hyundai Finance and the GM, Hess Darvish. This matter was finally resolved after 6 long months of getting the runaround, but only after I obtained legal representation and notified the dealership of my intent to sue for the refund balance of the warranty. I will NEVER do business with this dealership again as I found them to be very dismissive over my concerns. Please save yourself the headache and consider elsewhere before shopping here.

The after sale experience has been far from smooth, I have tried approximately 6 times to speak with Arena (finance women), who did the financing for us as we would like to cancel the service agreement that was purchased. After trying approximately 6 times, I left a voicemail for the General Sales Manager, in which also did not call me back. I was going to let the service contract cancellation go, since obviously I can not get ahold of anyone and it’s very inconvenient to drive to the dealer, until we realized it has been more than 14 calendar day’s and our trade in still has not been paid off with a payment due as of this week.I came in to the dealer today to try and see if we can resolve this matter, and the General Sales Manager advised not, which is disappointing as a customer being that we should not have to drive OVER A HOUR, for something that could have been handled via email, if someone would simply answer the phone or talk to one or the other of us being were both on the loan.I was advised that the Payoff would be submitted today, and we would get tracking information, although we’re confused since the dealer received the funding from our new lender, Hyundai Motor credit after we signed our contact, why it took this long as it should have been submitted sooner and not when we bring it up. Will NEVER buy from this company again

I recently filed for Bankruptcy and was going to lose my vehicle. Nick sent me a letter in the mail about getting a vehicle while going through chapter 7. He was straightforward, up front, and knowledgeable about everything. I ended up driving to the dealership after talking to Nick about an SUV I saw online that I wanted. I was suppose to receive a $100 check for referral. My mom purchased a car and they told me once we left that we should receive it in about 2 weeks. 3 months later still haven’t received it. I called multiple times and nobody picks up the phone. I left 3 messages with someone at finance department and still no call back. Don’t trust this place! I Will never buy from them again nor will I recommend Ourisman to anyone. Terrible customer service!!

The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because of the salesman I was originally speaking with via email, he was extremely nice and helpful.There was a big miscommunication, a huge problem with this place. So apparently there are two separate buildings, one for new cars and one for used cars, no one directed us in that area for used cars. Secondly the website said they open at 9 AM, and we were in the new car area and no one arrived until about 9:10 AM, the service section was open and we asked them when did the sales associates arrive and they did not even have a definitive answer for us. So basically we went in looking for used car specifically one that I was looking into online. So there was a miscommunication about who I was supposed to see for the used cars and they started arguing 15 feet away from us, not even trying to be discreet about it or not even trying to hide it. Then they continue to argue outside, and then when one of them came back in the sales associate next to us was asking him what was wrong and she kept pointing at us and looking at us like we can’t see or hear ANYTHING. Come to find out the entire hour that we were there, The vehicle have been in the service waiting for a new ENGINE. Why is the vehicle on the website if it’s not ready to be looked at? I specifically asked if the vehicle is ready to be looked at an answer I got was the yes. This place is definitely not professional and the communication is definitely under par.Take a look at their Yelp reviews as well.

Their service center is HORRIBLE.....my car has been dealer maintained since I purchased it brand new 11 years ago. With the change in personnel in their service center, I have had to take my car back several times and it still is not running optimally. I attempted to escalate to dealership management and noone has returned my call. I will NEVER take my car back there again and thats such a shame........

I was charged for work that they claimed my wife authorized despite her being out of town and never speaking with the agent. I requested the complimentary maintenance when speaking with the rep over the phone and was charged with a $367 bill.

Mike Robinson, Shawn, and Ben are all beyond awesome. I called at 3PM on a Monday to inquire about leasing a Hyundai Kona and Ben told me to come on by. I arrived at 7PM or so that evening (with no real expectation that Id leave with any substantial progress in my car search) but by that night at 11PM, I had all the paperwork signed. The salesperson Mike was awesome - so down to earth and just seemed honest and real. Shawn, the Finance guy, was the cherry on top. He is a lot of fun to talk to! They went above and beyond to make the process smooth, even though I kept them late, and I picked up my brand new Kona the next morning. The entire thing was way more fun than any other car-buying experience Ive had.

I’m having issues with my trunk closing. My car is under warranty. I called the dealership and Hyundai and they told me it will take 30 days to fix it. Please stay away from Hyundai. Tge buying experience was great, and that is worth four and a half to five stars.. However having maintenance on the vehicle later was horrible. Both the website and in store are signs saying that most oil changes can be done within an hour. When I showed up to have only an oil change completed, I was told an hour and a half. she further said that if I opted not to get a car wash, it would usually be quicker. So I opted for no car wash. After an hour and a half, I had to walk up to the counter to ask for my vehicle. she told me she would look into it and get back to me. 10 minutes later, I had to go back to the counter to ask again about my car. At this point she motioned me to somebody else. This person advised me that my car was coming off the lift now, and that it be ready in just a minute. approximately 2 minutes later, the gentleman came out and handed me papers telling me to go pay for it, and he would bring the car around front. After paying out, I went outside to wait. Another 10 minutes went by. My total experience for a oil change only was nearly 2 hours. Thats just ridiculous. I even had a scheduled appointment time. There was also over $10 in miscellaneous fees, so it really wasnt worth 2 hours of my time. The total cost of an oil change ran $56 and 2 hours of my time.

I have to give credit where credit is do! My car died on me as I was preparing to go to work and I was panicked. I had to get it towed and all. I usually dont like taking my car to the dealer because Im not well-versed with cars and I feel like the dealership tries to get you with all this extra stuff you dont need. Anyway, this dealership was accommodating. I cross-referenced everything they said with a car technician in my family who works on a different make of cars. Everything the dealership told me was legit. When I needed a ride, they made it happen. This stellar customer service was given by Letrell. I dont know what his title is but he needs a raise. Because of his phenomenal work, I recommended this dealership to my mother who is now getting her car worked on for general maintenance. As Ive said, Im usually not a fan of dealerships but this has changed my perspective.....definitely worth my time and money! Thank you.

Okay, where do I start? Nick gets on my nerves,(just kidding) but one thing about Nick is his word is bond. Nick keeps it real and thats what I love about him. Nick is super cool and makes you feel so comfortable in the process of getting you in a new vehicle. I would recommend any and everyone to Nick. Wish I could give 0 stars. Irena in financing has been no help through this whole process. We live over two hours away and she’s ignored our calls and voicemails for 3 weeks so we had to drive over 2 hours just to get some things canceled. We walked in and she knew exactly what we were there for, so she has clearly been listening to the voicemails. We signed paperwork to cancel policies at her office over two months ago and have been calling about our $5000 refund to see what the status of that is. Come to find out she never submitted the paperwork (probably in hopes of us just forgetting about it so she gets her cut). Not to mention our car sales man hit on me multiple times in front of my husband and made us both uncomfortable. I’ll never be buying from here again and will forever warn friends and family against going here.

I give them a 2stars because when I bought a brand new 2021 elantra in early May, I traded my jeep in and here it is going on my 2nd car payment for a car I dont have because they did not pay off the trade in yet. I shouldnt have to pay a car payment that was suppose to be paid off within 10-15 days. I have called and left numerous voice mails to Irena and to the manager of the building. If I could give this establishment negative stars, I would. I took my car in for service last week on Wed. They were to complete routine maintenance and look it over for a specific problem due to a dash light on. One week and one thousand+ dollars later, the same pesky light remains on and the routine maintenance they FAILED to perform is still not completed!!!! When you arrive, the service manager is in his office observing a long line of customers waiting for assistance and the service associates dont know if they are coming or going....complete chaos. I will not purchase a car or committ to further car maintenance here. They rob you of time and money!!!! STAY AWAY!!!@@

(ZERO STARS) --- AVOID this Ourisman Hyundai dealership at all costs and do not ever do business here. Unfortunately, all of the stereotypes that one may have regarding the car buying process are true at this horrifying dealership. I will never recommend this car dealership to anyone because of my experience with Alan Youhanna, the MANAGER in the used car sales department. I hate to personally attack someone’s character on this review and call him or her out, but this man verbally harassed and screamed at me, the customer. It was totally unprofessional and it deserves to be called out so that his staff and other customers know that this man is a ticking time-bomb.I went to this dealership to purchase my leased vehicle at the end of the 3 year/36,000 mile lease. The residual value was much lower than the appraised value of the car, therefore I decided to purchase it at the residual value. This is where the MANAGER came into play, they were trying to charge me 6% SALES TAX on my leased vehicle. I was adamant that I had already paid sales taxes on the sale price of the car when I purchased the lease. This is thousands of dollars by the way. Alan the MANAGER came over to SCREAM at me and tell me that this is how it is, I owed tax on the price of the car (he also decided to add this SALES tax on top of the $500 doc fee, $495 inspection fee, and $295 tag and title fee), calling me, the customer, an IDIOT and verbally attacking me in front of all the other customers and staff.ALAN was WRONG! It was totally unacceptable for him to treat me (or anyone) this way (his staff included). What kind of business screams at their customer? I should have walked out the door then and there, and I would have if I had known that I didn’t have to buy the car from the same dealership in which I leased the vehicle… take notes people.As it turns out, one does not owe sales tax if they want to purchase their leased vehicle at the end of their lease. Alan was WRONG and should know this and not try to be deceitful! He eventually came over to let me know that he was ‘saving me money’ for not owing the sales tax, acting like he was doing me a ‘favor’. What a disgraceful, ignorant, and deceitful MANAGER. He was not saving me money, it is the LAW – you cannot charge sales tax twice if they already paid during the lease agreement! Formally educate and train your staff on how the LAW works, and teach them to respect their customers…When I finally got my vehicle, I immediately told them to rip off the Ourisman ADVERTISEMENT they put around the temporary tag license plate and any and everything that said ‘OURISMAN Hyundai’ on it. This is the most dishonest dealership I have ever dealt – and to top it off I felt I was going to get punched by one of their employees. My unbelievable experience at this dealership is a nightmare that will haunt me every time I drive on 198 past it. Yikes….. AVOID THIS Ourisman Hyundai in Laurel, go to Annapolis….

This was quite literally the most simple purchasing process for an auto mobile you will ever go through. Nick Cutlip Sr. is one of, if not THE best car salesman around the DMV area. His knowledge and expertise of the vehicles is unmatched, and his simplification of the auto buying process is incredible. He and his team were able to keep the buying process simple for me, WHILE putting me into the right car for my price level. I would absolutely suggest that if you are in the Market for a new car, you go see Nick. I dealt with multiple sales staff at multiple locations, none of them compare.

I DEFINITELY will NEVER go to ANY Oursman dealership after my HORRIBLE experience at the Oursman Mazda dealership in Laurel,MD. My salesman was EXCELLENT. Very professional and nice. The service and finance departments are beyond TERRIBLE. I had to wait about an hour to talk to someone in finance when buying my car. The manager from the sales department had to intervene on my behalf. I purchased my car on Memorial Day and I STILL don’t have my tags. When I called July 23rd to inquire about my tags I was told my tag request was NEVER processed.The service department is even worse, they are there to gauge you and NOT fix your car. I took one of my cars in to be serviced for FREE and they tried to charge me for repairs I DIDNT need. I should have went with Sheey Toyota or another dealership.The dealership looks very low class and not inviting. I DEFINITELY recommend going to a dealership that’s looks the part.

UPDATE:After contacting them to get the correct paperwork for a title they asked me to FedEx the paperwork back to them for a Saturday delivery and I will get it done and return it to you on Saturday and enclose a check for the FedEx charges ($58). I did get the paper work 5 DAYS LATER and of course no check from these totally untruthful people. They just dont know how to tell the truth!!!!I purchased the car remotely and had it shipped to Florida. I was told it was in perfect shape, no scratches, dents or damage. They had inspected the car and with only 5100 miles I would expect it to be perfect. On arrival I immediately say the scratches on the bumper and after a month of requesting a response they continued to ignore me, why not they got my money and I was not a local. When I looked under the car I saw two holes and a bolt that got bent due to the impact. The car WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED!! Adding to the mess they did not fill out the title transfer correctly and I cant get a Florida Title. Its over a month now and still no resolution. They are ignoring the fact that either they were hiding the fact that there was damage to the car not disclosed or they did not in fact do an inspection as they said the always do. Buyer beware! I would like replacement panels and I would be fine but they dont even respond to my emails, calls and I will assume reviews too. Update - they said they are not replacing anything. I can only hope they sent me the paperwork for my title!!!

I second with the ugly reviews below mine. if youre a chump go here. Worst car buying experience ever from the sales staff to the pre-owned manager, to the finance manager, and lastly the titling department. Here are my issues:1) Like the previous complaint, they lower their internet price to entice you to call and when you call they just tell you to come in. And once youre in they wont negotiate whatsoever and youll just get yelled at for trying to get a good deal. Alan the pre-owned sales manager promised me coolant flush and they couldnt deliver because I bought a European Car. fine, they shouldve given me $200 so I could get the coolant flush done at BMW because they gave me their word they wouldve done it.2) This dealership had me drive with tires at 3mm thread marginally passing and didnt put temporary tags on my car because they screws didnt fit. I had to drive 40 mins to my local mini of alexandria to have screw sizes that fit. I had to drive off with no tags hanging. When Mini of Alexandria inspected my care. Ourisman Hyundai replaced rear rotars and brakes but didnt do front which were corroded and wouldve failed safety inspection in VA. luckily it was covered by mini warranty and wouldve been a $1200 job that mini of Alexandria went above and beyond to help me with.3) Anytime I had a question or an issue there was a lot of passing on to other people from the sales staff, pre-owned manager, finance manager, Manager. No one took the time to help or be accountable for anything.No one here seems to understand the value of customer service, repeat business, or future business. the only thing positive I have to say about this place is I got a good deal for a decent car. Stay away form here unless they offer you a deal you cant refuse but be warned that they will treat you like garbage, not honor their word, and your car will have have issues you will need to fix right away.

This was our second purchase from Ourisman Hyundai in Laurel. We are still driving our car from the first purchase over 10 years ago, but wanted a new vehicle. Much like our first experience, this recent purchase was fantastic. On an extremely hot day, Tiffney Brown, our sales associate, pulled up our test-drive vehicle already pre-airconditioned. She was quick to offer bottled water and saw to our comfort during the visit. Tiffney thoroughly went over the vehicle features and answered all of our questions. The management team was also very personable and easy-going. We are enjoying our new vehicle. Based off of our past experience, we expect to for many years to come.

I bought a 2020 Hyundai Sonata SEL from Nick Cutlip in May and I couldnt be happier! He was incredibly helpful and before I left the lot he noticed an issue in the cars paint and made sure to make arrangements with me in order to get it repaired quickly. If I could give this place a zero, I would. Though Mike Robinson was nice enough, the whole process turned into a fiasco. I traded in my 2016 Hyundai Accent and they told me they would send a payoff check to my previous lender....1.5 months later, they still havent paid it off. Reached out to Mike Robinson and was told that it would be sent overnight..my previous lender still has not received it. Called Ourisman Hyundai today (5/10) and I am still waiting on hold to speak to someone to fix this problem. Also, I was told several times that the Sales Manager would reach out personally and yet again, I never received a single phone call. Someone needs to contact me ASAP to fix this mess.
