DO NOT GET FOOLED BY JINGLES, I paid $130 to remove tints from my Audi A6. attached receipts also clearly mention WHOLE VEHICLE. but they did not remove wind shield tint. My vehicle failed in inspection for their fraudulent business practice, They are lying that they did not know about the wind shield tint. when I called reception lady nicely replied, asked me to come back by 5.30 to remove that tint. But when I reach there these con artists changed the tune, they very very rudely said it was not included in the price. I have to leave the store, they are closing. I had to call the police, got the case number and evidence. Will see them in court, Its not only money, I feel insulted. Now he threatening to post my car number plate online,

Was supposed to remove tint from the whole vehicle as stated in the receipt but they did not remove tint from the front wind sheild but after they removed i went to the inspection and the car failed cos they did not remove the front tint, when i called they refused to remove the tint. Very bad behavior from the owner and very rude, made me feel like i was in the wrong whereas they are clearly doing the wrong thing here.Update Response: he is a complete scam, his receipt says it clearly that the deal was the whole car, idk who is he trying to scam, had to go to another store called Car toys and they removed the front wind sheild, they also had to remove the residue from the windows that they did here and had to pay them more money to remove the residues. Please do not waste your money here, they here to scam you hard. I also made a complaint to BBB.

Truely the finest tint shop in the DMV.My dad been going here for 25 years for all of his cars’ tint, detail, car stereo and alarm/remote start needs and Marlon always does an outstanding job each and every time. I got my Camry’s windows ceramic tinted a few months ago and they have been performing great. They stand by their work and even replaced my visor’s tint due to a small blemish and did a great job. The person working on it finished it off quick for me because I was in a slight hurry. Gonna come here for every car I buy, no doubt.

Definitely very nice people that work here but the work we got done just wasn’t where we thought it would be. We put in a new car that we purchased for tint and detail and the tint is great but when coming to pick up the vehicle we realized the interior had not even been touched. They requested to keep the vehicle one more day which is a very kind gesture to address the interior however still a huge hassles nevertheless to have driven out to the location over 45 mins to be told the vehicle is not ready after we were told over the phone it was. After coming the second time to pick up the vehicle the interior still looks like it hasn’t been touched (pet hair in trunk, seats still sticky, residue left over on leather). We want to bring all 3 of our vehicles here to get details but we are just extremely hesitant at this point.

Hallstar did a great job installing CIR tint on my Model 3. They even washed and vacuumed my car before I picked it up. I would definitely recommend them if you need to get tint. They are straight forward and post their prices online. I even got 10% off by buying the service online. I love that they also stand behind their install and product, by including a warranty.

This place warmed my heart after I got my car washed here. Its just so freaking clean and everyone takes pictures of themselves from the reflection in the paint, girls actually do there make up in my glass from there extravagant window film they applied all over my whip. Since then I have had good days, better weekends and special months, and great years. Ive even been getting more vitiman D and plenty of rest. This place sure has changed my life. And for that I am great.

More than just tint! This shop is amazing. I had two cars tinted and they still look brand new. They custom wrapped all the Chrome, marker lights, and exhaust on my vehicle to make it stealth. All the work is CLEAN and looks Factory new. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, they wont upsell you and make sure the job is done right.

This was the second time I have come to have my vehicle tinted at Hallstar. My first was a 2015 Toyota Avalon back in 2018 and this time I had my 2015 Chevy Tahoe LTZ tinted. The finish on both of them were dope! The sales consultant showed be the available products, and demonstrated the difference in tint product with respect to keeping the heat out. My complete job was done in about and hour. There is no shortage of tint and body shops where I live. However I will bypass them every time and go to Hallstar.

Did tint and detailing there. Tint was good, however detailing. Paid for buffing my vehicle, when job was done they parked the vehicle in sunshade so I wasnt able to see that they didnt polish it AT ALL!! basically just washed it, and put some wax. And you can tell how good is the place by looking on owners responses, calling my rewiew fake, instead of asking whats I didnt like.

I’ve been going to these guys for the past 10yrs and they never disappoint. Their tint is top notch and they’re really fast. Marlo is the guy to go to with anything involving electronics. Dude knows his stuff.

Ok customer service, but very poor detailing skills. Parts of my car werent even TOUCHED. Inside still had dusty surfaces that werent touched. The trunk area was only shampooed but not wiped down. My bumper had streaks of soap from the initial wash. My front windshield area was not dusted and inside my middle front seat was barely clean. All in all a waste of money because i had to basically rewash it myself. I also let them talk me into getting my seats steamed and got the exterior waxed which has no point considering the outside was still dirty and the inside as well. I cant understand why this took 8 hrs for my car to come back like this.Update: After speaking with management and the so called owner I can now conclude this business is a mess. Any customer who his not satisfied with the work is met with anger and claims of fraud for lying. Dont waste your time here. Even the Groupon doesnt make it worth it. If you do go, CHECK EVERYTHING. If you find one thing wrong I promise youll find more. But once you drive of the lot they wont take the blame for anything.

Absolutely love Hallstar. My first time experience was excellent. I went here to get detailing done. I happen to look on Groupon an seen that Hallstar was giving the basic detailing done for a reasonable price. Once I arrive the owner Wayne inform me that I will need more work to be done to my car which will be a few more 20s. Which was still reasonable to me because everywhere else was trying to charge me $300 to $400. When I walked away in my mind I was very doubtful just knew certain stains wasnt going to be able to come out. which I WAS SO WRONG. Darnell was the one who worked on my car an when I said he brung my car BACK TO LIFE he have done just that. When It was time for my car to get picked up, it was unbelievable!!. My car was looking brand new again. I couldnt even wait to get out the parking lot to tell people about the marvelous job that was done. Again thank you ! Below is the before and after picture.

Went in to get some old tints taken off and get some darker tints put on. It only cost $120 to take them off and $165 to put on the newer tints which I thought was a good price. They was able to take my car in and when I got it back they looked great. I left my windows up for a week and then checked everything out and I noticed a lil scratch on my little passenger side window. I took it back to them and spoke to the manager and he said he would cover it. Come to find out it wasnt a scratch I thought they did, it actually was a crack in my window they saw after taking the tint off. I appreciated the customer service they gave out and I will definitely recommend them to everyone

Getting a full service detail from Hallstar was possibly the worst service experience Ive ever had. After calling ahead, getting there before opening, and being the second person to hand my keys over for service, I wound up waiting FIVE HOURS. Whats more, when I got my car back and drove home (happy to be finally gone and have whats left of my day), I realized several things. One: they didnt so much clean my floor mats as much as they made them wet. After I took them out of the trunk, I saw they were still spotted with dirt, and just dripping wet with water from what I can only guess was a brief hose-down. Two: the whole car smelled like they cleaned it with a dirty rag. Seriously, I was expecting a shampoo sort of smell, but instead it smells like they just used a wetvac without any soap to clean everything, and it now smells like wet rags. Three: they just didnt even bother with the windows. Not even a quick wipe with windex; everything (inside and out) was just as dirty as when I dropped it off. Bonus: although they did clean the outside, they didnt even touch the wheels and just seemed to give up on a spot of dried bird poop that just wasnt going to come off (never mind I got it off with a sponge and 10 seconds of work when I got home.)To recap: five hour wait after being the second car in for the day and a pre-scheduled time, and a car that was barely worked on at all and given back smelling like wet rags. If it was possible to give zero stars, I would.

I got a groupon for a full detail, and even paid extra for dog hair removal. I took my car in before they opened, so I was the first one there. When I came to pick up my car the dog hair was still there, but a few days later my car STUNK. It was really bad so I investigated and they didnt vacuum up all of the water from the stowaway compartments. My car interior is damaged, it still stinks almost a year later. I think they treated me so poorly because I had a groupon, maybe they just had a bad day. They said it was because I brought my car in too late and only had a few hours to work on it, but like I said I was the first person there, before they even opened. But their bad day ruined my car.

I had my car detailed here... While they did shampoo the seats and carpet - nothing else was touched! The console still had mud from the dog!I had to wash the inside and outside of the console, the change holder and the dash! So much for “detailing”. I would not recommend!

Ive been to Hallstar a few times over the years for car stereo or car alarm install. I just recently purchased a vehicle. I needed some tint and detail to get rid of funny smell. So I immediately thought of Hallstar. Everytime I came there Marlo was always friendly and professional. This time Marlo went above and beyond and gave me some valuable advice about my truck. If I ever need any tint, car alarm or my truck detailed. I will always go to Hallstar !!

Got a full tint here in my sedan. Positives included friendly staff, quick turn around time and slightly better prices than other larger shops.Unfortunately I cant recommend this shop due to the quality of work. There was something stuck to the glass on one window that the tint film was placed over. I took it back to the shop, and while I appreciate the life time warranty, the second time around turned out worse than the first, with dust stuck under the film and some creases too. I understand that mistakes happen. I just think the manager should have inspected the warranty work on the second install.

Where do I start my husband got his tints done here I was a little worry cause of some of the reviews. So I decided to give them a try once I see how good my husband tints look once it was dry. I got my tints done today and all I can say l like my tints. They did a good job am glad I gave them a try. Great shop! Called for an appointment on a Wednesday at 4pm after another shop left me high and dry, Hallstar said bring it in and we’ll knock it out right now. Price was great, service was great, and comfortable waiting area. Had to bring it back to have 2 bubbles removed a couple weeks later and they jumped right on it even though they were extremely busy after the holidays. Very friendly shop everyone smiles making it a comfortable environment! Keep up the great work!

I got my first car tint here. When I first arrived, I spoke to the lady in front about my car and how it was my first time getting my car tinted. She asked me what level of tint I wanted, I told her I wasnt sure but I wanted something good that suits my car and legal. Her and another their worker asked me more about my car color, then decided I should go with 20%. I didnt know much about tint because it was my first time. However, she told me the price $185, which I found out is EXPENSIVE compared to others, she added that this will over me when anything ever happens to the car tint, I can just bring it back to the shop and they fix it for free. This boosted my spirit and I recommended a lot of my friends to go tint their car there. After a few months, I got pulled over by a cop and was given a work order for my tint being 20%. I thought it was about to be a breezy to have them reduce tint, just the two front side to 35%. I got there and I meant different lady, I explained the situation to her, she looked at me like I was crazy. the manager came out and also explain the explained the situation to him, he checked my car and told me I didnt get my car tint at their shop, he didnt even bother to check his system. I want home and came back with my receipt. I showed it to her and the white lady in front, then they said they never suggest to get 20% nor do they re-tint your car at return. He called everyone at the shop to come jump me after the white lady called me a liar, and she claimed I was cursing at her. Yes I did curse, but never was it at her. one of his workers took my receipt throw it in the trash and smoked his cigarette at my face. Never was I aggressive to anyone, a threat, nor in another anyone personal space. All I got was threats and his workers talking about taking my car.

This was my second time at this establishment the gentleman I guess that runs the place he was very professional and helpful but I was only there for a car washing and initially I was told I was next but that was not the case I wish I was told that the car wash could take up to an hour I was there for over an hour and was offered no type of explanation or any other type of incentive that would make me go back and the heavy set lady, not the nice looking lady that was there when I first came in she was professional, and ring me up but the other lady she had just came back in and she was very nasty very unprofessional I would not recommend anyone go there because of her

There is too much going on at this place of business. Disappointed because I still have small bubbles in my tint after taking my car back today .They informed me that this was normal and there is no such thing as perfect tint. Yes they did fix most but not all. Long story short, I will not be going back.Not once did I bash this business !! I waited before I brought my car back to see if the bubbles were disappearing . I simply stated what I was told verbatim after bringing my vehicle back. I PAID TO GET MY TINT DONE ON JUNE 19th and brought it back to HALLSTAR JULY THE 7th. Which was almost 16 days ago why would I pay for it to get fixed, that doesn’t make any sense if you all applied the tint ! Even after expressing my issue, I never asked for you all to do anything else on my car let alone for free!! I told you all it was okay and LEFT ! I can comprehend very well which is why I waited more than 10 DAYS to bring my vehicle back. Your response clearly reflects the ignorance at this place. You guys fixed it for free because you all could see the bubbles. I could have mentioned so much more but once again my review wasn’t to bash this place. It was my experience. Also after getting my tint done last week I tipped every single person who worked on my car 25$ to 30$ because I was happy with the results until the bubbles begin to appear. After waiting I brought my car back because the back windows (which were fixed yesterday) had multiple bubbles . If it wasn’t such a bad job why did they fix it for FREE? You should learn how to take constructive criticism it may help you thrive more as a business and professional instead of replying back with irate responses. I first used this place when i had major scratches ln my car. I thought i needed fresh paint. Local mechanics asked me to check out this place and perhaps they could help me.They worked magic and it was unbelievable. Four hours. I made an appointment and it took over 4 hours to have my car in an out the shop for an interior detail. In at 10am and out at 2:30. The man who assisted me was very nice, but I will not be back.

I would have loved to have given Hallstar a five just for the free car wash. However most organizations and people have room for improvement.inwas impressed that the young man delivered on his promised time frame as he seemed extremely busy.i also observed several repeat customers which is a very good barometer. The two not picking quibbles I have are there was some material left on the vehicle, no biggie. The big one is the lifetime guarantee bit. That should be optional. They know most people will not own that vehicle long enough to collect on that. Id rather pay less, skip that lifetime gimmick, and Ill gladly pay 5 years from now a redo. Also you ask before you post pics of customers cars after you finish. Yes I would recommend Hallstar and use them again.

I took my car here about a week ago and I am still beaming with pride because of how BEAUTIFUL my baby (my car, an X3) looks! Chris did SUCH a good job!!! He even got a detergent stain out of the actual floor (not the floor mat) that had set in like six months ago. I also had an obscene amount of pet hair from my two dogs all over the car and he got all of that out too! My car looks so good inside and out that when I took it to an auto mechanic for unrelated uprgrades he said, “You don’t let anyone in your car!” If only he knew! Anyway, I highly recommend Hallstar! Everyone—from the young lady who answer the phone (light skinned with hair slightly colored) to the guy who gives you an estimate (Quincy? Quinton?) to your actual detailer (Chris)— is professional. They are very friendly too. I will be back here soon! Great job and thanks again guys!

Very satisfied with my experience. Started off getting my car detailed, which they did a wonderful job. They were very informative and I ended up getting my car tinted. After three months no cracking peeling or fading. Ive had no issues with install or product quality . The audio installer suggested serveral options that I’m considering getting done in the near future. Can’t beat their prices and I never been to a place that gave so much information about their products. Highly recommend not going anywhere else.
