I had such a lovely experience here. I was looking for some herbs and spices and the lady behind the counter was super helpful and nice. She gave me some advice on how to use certain things and showed me the better products to use. Their selection is deceivingly large since the place looks so small. Needless to say the advice was appreciated.

Wonderful family owned shop with very fair prices. Dont be intimidated if you dont know Indian cuisine inside and out, the owner is incredibly helpful, kind, and patient especially if you are new to making Indian food. I dont even live in the city, but will always make it a point to stop here whenever Im in the area.

My mom likes to shop here and usually gets what she is looking for. The cashier even helps out taking groceries to ur car if u really need it.

This is a great small grocery store for indian cuisine! They have most of what I need with spices and a large selection of premade sauces along with incense. The produce was of good quality and the shop owner is friendly. If youre into ayurvedic skin and hair care, they have a nice selection of spices and products available. He actually had soap nut powder which is an excellent soft shampoo and hard to find in most grocery stores. I will definitely be going back.

LOVE this little store! Super convenient location & easy parking. It might not be huge but they have everything you need in this store and then some! They are quick to provide a friendly smile and are always helpful with my selections. Wonderful neighborhood store!

New India Market has the best customer service, the owner is very helpful, polite and goes out of his way to try to help customers find what they need. I always leave his store more than satisfied with my experience shopping there. The owner/cashier of this store is very rude. Yu don’t have respect to the costumer. If that is your natural voice, please look at the mirror and practice to be a soft spoken. It was my first time at this store, but never that I will be coming back to this store nor to recommend to anyone. Respect everyone, be nice, whoever you are! Hidden away Indian Market which I frequently visit. Great assistance given to those who lack experience with Indian food. Good prices and wide selection. Ive known the store owner for 18 years and he has tales to tell and gives good culinary advice.

This is the best Indian grocery on the planet (outside of India I’m guessing). This tiny shop has everything somehow, and the gentleman (yes, an actual gentleman) will steer you to the best of the best. If he points at something, buy it, or if you’re really smart, buy two — you’ll save a trip. Love this place. You will too.

What a great experience! It is a small store with some fresh produce and vegetables, refrigerated/frozen goods, and packaged food items such as seasonings. I think I also saw some DVDs for those looking for Indian films :) I needed chat masala for a recipe I had found, but, after we talked about what I was making, the shop owner suggested I try a different mix for fried vegetables. He also explained how to make a basic chutney, suggestions for other things I could use my seasonings for, and how to best use them. Very friendly and amazing service with a clean environment. I appreciated the time he took to explain everything!! I will definitely be back!

They have all the needy Indian groceries. Every Friday they bring in fresh vegetables. But they dont have variety of vegetables. They have limited number of vegetable variety repeating every week. The owner is really nice gentleman and patiently services you.

Owner is really helpful and knowledgeable. He is sincere and genuine in how he works with his customers. Place is clean and organized.

Dont go to this store. The owner charges random amounts at the time of billing and prices are much higher than fair price. Cheats new customers. There are other fair Indian stores nearby.

Great hole-in-the-wall Indian grocery store. The proprietor (owner?) was very polite and helped us to select the ingredients that we needed for some Indian dishes.

Its small but its homey, and its packed with options that you can buy for Indian foods condiments preparation material and so forth. Even the vegetables are fresh and appear to be organic. Check out their MREs. Many are buy one get one free.

My wife loves to come here to buy Madras coffee, spices, and Ayurvedic stuff. Normally, we are happy with the service but today, some rude tall guy who acts like he owns the place was very rude to my wife who was asking for help with a hair product that she forgot the name of. Turns out it was Neem shampoo and powder treatment but the guy offered no help, was extremely rude and looked at us each time as if we are going to steal from him. My wife spent a long time finding the product herself. We can definitely find another Indian market to get the stuff we need because we dont need to be treated this way by a rude and possibly racist store owner. I would have given them a one star if not for the cashier who was A little nicer.Please be nice to your customers, esp the ones who spend at least $50-$100 each time.

BAD! They stole our CREDIT CARD NUMBER and charged stuff to it!!!! Dont go here! They will steal you card number too! They printed a fake card and tried using it 40 after we made our purchase there. They used it at Game Stop and online. BEWARE of using your credit card at New India Market on W Sahara!
