I was recently strong-armed by an employee of this company. I went with ZERO intent of selling any of my items. I saw Neil on the news saying bring your jewelry in and it would be sorted and told what it is worth...so I took it in. This was my very first experience taking jewelry in for appraisal (??). My expectations had been to pay a fee to have the good stuff sorted from the junk, and returned back to me. I did not know it would be sorted into bowls, stacked, and carted away with no intention of return until the huge man with an accent (wearing several thick gold ropes around his neck and a huge white metal bracelet with diamonds on his right wrist), intimidated me into giving him all my jewelry in return for next to nothing it was worth! When I requested to see the now sorted gold and diamond jewelry for pieces I may want back because I had not prepared for the process beyond sorting, he got angry. Thats when he rushed me and pressured me with lies stating I had poor quality diamonds not worth retrieving and he needed to move on to another customer because he had spent an hour sorting my jewelry. This was a lie. I had been in the store for less than thirty minutes. I was able to quickly grab just three of the 30-40 pieces (costume included) I brought in before my license was demanded of me and a check pushed towards me. My rushed retrieval cost a $700 reduction off the original amount offered (which even at the higher amount I was hesitant to accept because I was still processing actually being pushed into selling).When I got home I searched until I found an old written appraisal my deceased father had done on those poor quality diamonds I barely rescued. Found out they were an estimated 1-carat total weight GOOD quality diamonds with very slight inclusion. I was also told a gold bracelet made for me...was costume jewelry. The piece was machine tested only when I questioned the hand inspection. Turns out it was 18kt gold. I should have grabbed my things and run the moment bells started going off in my head! I am very upset for feeling so intimidated I caved and did not stand up for myself. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS and I left feeling like I had been robbed.

Neil and his staff are very knowledgeable and pride themselves on fairness and honesty! Although just going there has never been a waste of my time, usually, they will tell you over the phone if they are interested in things of a specific nature. So dont hesitate to call!

Customer service at this store lacking greatly. Security takes their job way too serious. I was standing near a counter, and security let me know I wasn’t even allowed to stand near that counter nor should I be even looking in that direction. Makes me question the legitimacy of this store, and why they are actually in business. The Lambo parked outside should have given me a clue. 5 years ago I spoke personally with the owner Neil about my Grandmother wedding ring that I inherited at that time he seemed to be a vey knowledgeable man. Unfortunately I inherited some coins/foreign coins from my father recently. To me his offer although I took it was an insult. $2.00 per pound for foreign coins the reason why I took it to him was that he is (and I asked around to several places) basically the only dealer that takes foreign coins at this time. First off of all the foreign coins that I sold him I really was only hoping to get $10.00 from him BUT my father who was a coin collector had values (I understand values go up and down) of a lot more the $2.00. Case in point my father claimed that just one of the foreign coins that I had was valued at $55.00 USD. This is an insult. I hope you profit heavily off my fathers foreign coins I sold you. If you were to sell these coins for $1.00 a piece you will have made at least $40.00 off my father who recently passed away from Covid. Second I truly wanted to understand the integrity of this shop and I had a coin that I will NEVER sell but ask his clerk can he look it up ( I knew the value prior to asking the question) for me he said sure not only did he quote me out of the book the wrong coin it took him about 3-4 minutes to find the wrong coin. Lastly as stated before I inherited a small coin collection I ask the clerk if they do appraisals for insurance purposes he told me NO that no one in Las Vegas does BUT he also said let me ask Neil the owner BOTH the clerk and Neil stated no one in Las Vegas does that. Neil let me educated you on your business Sahara Coins & Precious Metals DO APPRAISALS FOR INSURANCE purposes they charge $85.00 an hour. Now you know I was very sad about my dealing with this company seeing that 5 years ago he seemed to be a honest man. As a recent review stated you do seem to have a rubber stamp for poor comments that you have many happy customers to me that really is a polite way of saying I do not care. I do not write this review happy as stated 5 years ago he seemed to be someone I could have trusted.

This is the place to go to sell your Jewelry. They have state of the art equipment to test your jewelry. I made the mistake to go up the road and they offered me well over half as much as Neil (who really is the Real Deal!) offered me. Service was outstanding from the moment I walked in until the moment the security guard walked me to my car. This place makes you feel like they really want to help you and not just take your items and hose you over.

Best coin shop in VEGAS hands down!! Went to several other coin and pawn shops while we were here in town from out of state. And let me tell you those other places are a joke! Have sold gold and silver to this shop on multiple occasions. On this occasion, requested a quote via text, on a Friday, and sent photo of silver bullion. On monday I texted them again and was told would receive quote later in day. Did not qet quote, and texted them again on Tuesday and told would receive quote later in day and did not get quote. On Wednesday texted them and again told would receive quote later in day. At this point they have lost my business.

When I walked in I was met with smiling attendants and immediately seated at a window. The great reviews are not fake! I have lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years. I went to Nevada Coin Mart to sell some bullion to raise money for charity. I was greeted at the door by an extremely friendly armed security guard (appeared to be off duty law enforcement) who told me about the shop while I was waiting. I got up to the window in less than two minutes, the staff was extremely friendly and respectful. The owner was working behind the counter directing the operation which says a lot. I had already researched the spot prices of all the bullion and calculated what the markdown should be when selling wholesale. Im pleased to say my calculations were wrong and they paid me more than what I was expecting. I cant see why I would risk going anywhere else after this experience.

After your personnel were rude and discourteous, I immediately began writing my review, and within five minutes, I choose to leave your place of business and wait in the truck (in the desert heat) rather than spending another moment in your place of business. It was my first time in the store, I was trying to sell my necklace which has an imprint for 18kt on the clasp, they weighed it on their machine and tested it out, the older guy came back to the window and threw the necklace down to us and said we dont take plated gold jewelry! I took some real nice looking silver and gold looking silverware in to the coin mart, it was beautiful!!I was hoping to see a lot of money for it.They determined that it was merely plated not solid silver, and the still offered me some money for it!!!I had some regular looking silver ware at home that we use, so I just decided to keep the beautiful plated stuff and use it instead of selling it!!!The guys at the coin mart supported my decision, and said that’s what they would have done too!! We went into Nevada Coin Mart because they are a location where I could buy fundraiser merchandise from the Injured Police Officers Fund. I met Neil and during our discussion I told him that my family may come into possession of a large coin collection in the near future. I have no knowledge of rare coin values. Neil said he would be happy to appraise the coins and he was confident he could offer a better price than his competitors. Neil made me feel comfortable that I would receive an honest deal from him. While his advertisements make him look like a flashy character, I found him to be a friendly, down to earth person. Nevada Coin Mart will be my first stop when I need to sell any coins or collectibles.

What a joke!!!! They advertise themselves as a coin buyer but are to afraid to even help look at any coins to help someone determine a value unless they have already been graded. For somebody like myself starting out in the coin collection world, I never come back here. I’d auction them off through an auction house or sell them to the grading company. Very disappointed I drove 30 minutes away after talking to someone online before coming here. Personally I wouldn’t trust them to give me a face r price on anything if they can’t even look at, this is more of a pawn shop where they low ball people and take advantage of what they have otherwise they couldn’t stay in huskiness.

I brought in a bunch of junk silver (90% silver dimes and quarters pre 1965). Their “coin expert” didn’t look at any of the dates, and low balled me 1/3 of what the current price of silver. I told him I had a key date mercury dime and if he could look at it. He didn’t even look; he simply bagged up my coins and threw them at me. I only brought in a handful of coins but that was definitely uncalled for.Seems they only treat you decently if they can make a lot of profit off you. Security was a little unexpected, and seemed I was walking into a club; however they were very nice and courteous to me. I hope the coin expert’s day gets better.Edit: I see the owner of this establishment is quick to call out illegitimate reviews, I went to the correct location next to the ARCO. Has the owner of this place ever thought that reviews out of state could be real? Las Vegas is the biggest growing city in the US for the past decade. I had a single key date mercury, and I asked the expert to take a closer look because I knew it was worth more on its own than what he initially offered me. First time visiting Nevada Coin Mart on 12/4/2018 and was very pleased with the outcome. Security at the door was professional and assisted to where I needed to go. I brought in my costume jewelry I had gathered throughout the years. Ive seen Neils commercials and hes stuck in my head. The staff who assisted me was very pleasant, joked on the amount of items I had. I was very pleased on the outcome and I got to see Neil walking around. I would recommend Nevada Coin Mart to friends and family. I will be visiting again.

Crooks crooks they dont give u the fair value of anything I took a $400.00 necklace with a very Nick pendant ant they offer me $8.00 crooks.thats all I gotta say bout that!!!!

Visited this store recently. While their sell price was too high for my tastes, their buy price is good. If you have 14kt gold pieces or higher gold content, they are paying $25.00 per gram to start, for jewelry. In addition, they pay you for the diamonds at an added rate. Make sure you always watch the gram scale for your protection. When selling anything, always get a couple of quotes.

People of Nevada I swear to God unless you want to get robed don’t sell your gold here make sure to shop around, you will appreciate my advise,just read all the reviews here and look how the owner harassed and assault people who made an honest review here he knows his scam 100% and he want to continue his scam, read how he responded when people post a negative review that tells you what kind of crooked people operates this place!!

Honestly is with what there shop is about. They advised me on how & where my coins would make me the most value. Advice I did take as my coins are getting hits. Also very interesting items at there Jones @ Flamingo location. Check them out 👍

One of the biggest rip off places to sell jewelry. I have brought in a ring that was 18k gold and had 37 genuine diamonds in it and was offered around 450 for it. They gave the lowest amount compared to another 4 places i stopped by. I ended up going to superpawn to grab 1,300 for it. I couldve sold it for an easy 3,000 but i didnt want to hassle with private sales through craigslists. They didnt offer anywhere near gold spot price and pretty much wanted all the diamonds for pennies..

Rude and unhelpful. I verified the location and building. My review of my experience was correct. In my opinion out of all the coin stores in Las Vegas your staff was rude and disrespectful.1 I walk in to look for coins and barely made it in before I was stopped to make sure I could come in.2. Then a younger guy told me to pull my make up over my nose. Which I am completely ok with but he did it rudely.3. I told him what coins I was looking for and when he brought them out he very rudely told me I CANNOT TOUCH THEM!!! Which I said ok.4 Then a rude old guy told me y’all don’t have what I was looking for 3 time. So we just left.5. I would have bought something but I decide I would not spend anything at your place.So no my review is correct

Used to go there all the time mostly to purchase bullion. One day I received a lower rate to purchase my gold, aside from what the other employee told me. Niel, you didnt have to give me the higher rate (I appreciated you did). I would have been fine with a no deal or sorry we cant make this deal but Later on I was not welcomed in the store. I guess Ill spend my money elsewhere.

I recently sold some old family sterling silver and got more than I expected. I have sold Nick gold bullion many times and always receive a good price compared to what other buyers offer. Over time, I have seen how Neil interacts with his customers. and he always stresses giving them as much information as possible and giving them a fair and reasonable quote. It is obvious that establishing long-term customer loyalty is important to this business.

Nevada coin is very nice place, very decent and clean. the workers theyre very nice, very honest and very patient. They take time to solve your questions they also solve any concerns that you may have about things that you bring in, or things that they have inside of their store. I think Nevada coin is a very very proper place to conduct business .P.s.I love their commercials 💝

Very easy to do business at Nevada Coin Mart. Received an offer I was happy with and everyone was professional that worked with me. Would have no problem going back to either buy or sell .If youre trying to win the lottery, drive to the state line and buy a lotto ticket. But if youre looking to sell for realistic price without a hassle in a professional setting head to the corner of Flamingo and Jones.

I called to see if there was a wait and was politely told not at this time, but who knows when I get there. Upon arrival I was immediately sent to window 3 and actually got served by Neil. A very pleasant man that knows his product. Thanks for sharing stories with me. After a short period all of my sales material was inspected, prices being given for all items individually and after conclusion of said pricing a deal was made and everybody was happy. I kept a couple of items that were keepsakes for personnel reasons, and no complaints from Neil. Good Man to deal with, I cannot figure that some comments from customers paint this guy as a bad fellow. Maybe the attachment to their items makes them seem more valuable. Thanks Neil from Santa.

This is my opinion of Neil Sackmary who is the owner of the Nevada Coin Mart. These are as follows: He is prompt, courteous, friendly, informative, knowledgeable, has integrity, is honest, is very trustworthy, Customer service is his number one priority and he makes sure you are satisfied with his services. Most of all, he gives the most cash on any of your items and even goes beyond that on many occasions. He works with you one on one and is very patient when you have questions or concerns that needs addressing.As an added addendum, he may look intimidating as he is huge and the first time I met him, he scared me. In reality, this man may look like a huge grizzly bear . However, he has a heart of a lamb. Personally, I would give more then a 5 star ⭐️. Sincerely, J C Moler
