So many varieties of bread, pastries, coffee, teas. So many choices making it hard to decide what you want. Price is very reasonable. Coffee and bread tasted great. Theres also a small area with 5 tables for seating; bathrooms at the back. Great customer service as well. Get here early to secure a good parking spot.
I was walking by this place on my way to the potato hot dog. I couldnt help but smell the bread. I walked inside to this magical place with all sorts of tasty treats that Ive never seen before. I was really excited to try things so I grabbed a tray and started loading up. So many delicious treats that you can pick from what kinds of breads muffins cookies the things Ive never seen before. Im definitely coming back to this place I couldnt even get all the things that I wanted to get the first time around. The chocolate filled chocolate egg bread is my favorite! The cheesecake thing was very soft and airy almost to much. All of the items are not as rich and sweet as american cakes and sweets. Its kind of nice for a change to have a different style of bakery. I will be back!
So... I tried 85° C Bakery back home in Oregon, and I loved it! Vegas being our other home, we had to try it out while we were here! Theyre in Chinatown, in a newer shopping center. This place is clean, organized, and decorated nicely! I love that they were able to put all of their food in little bags, so that youre still able to get the experience of walking through and grabbing what you want! COVID-19 has caused many changes in the world so its nice to find things that feel normal. I got a box full of things and a coffee and loved everything! Both times Ive visited, Ive been very happy all the stuff Ive eaten from here. My favorite is the brioche, the jalapeño and cream cheese bread, and the Hawaiian bread. Their coffee is good too and recommend you get it with your food! I brought my mother-in-law for the first time and she loved it! I also took some to my parents for the first time, and they loved it as well. I recommend everyone to try this spot at least once and see what you think! Prices are pretty fair considering how fresh and delicious their food is! 😋
After quarantining and grocery deliveries of just the essentials, we needed some desserts! We decided to drive by 85degrees on a Saturday afternoon to see if it was crowded, but it seemed fairly empty so we parked and went in.The pastries were all prepackaged in plastic, the serving tongs were gone, and the little doors in front of each pastry section were all gone. There was someone walking around cleaning everything, and I think masks were required to enter. When it came time to pay, there was no line and it was all quick, efficient and friendly. They are well-prepared for the partial pandemic opening, but we still did quick zap in the microwave before eating anyway - just in case.
So many pastries! I love finding bakeries like this when Im adventuring. They always have the best food and drinks. Amazing prices as well! Milk tea was bomb and the service is so quick and polite! Ashame I wasnt able to give a tip. The card system had no option and there was no tip jar.
First time here. Came here on a friends recommendation, was not disappointed. The selection of items available was outstanding. We picked out 12 different items, and we were not disappointed by a single one. Everything was delicious. I couldnt tell you which one was my favorite, because I liked everything I tried, which was everything we bought. Each treat was so fresh, soft and super tasty. My daughter and I were fighting for the last cheese tart. Already planning a second trip, soon......
Beautiful store front in the Shanghai Plaza. Very large, clean and well designed bakery with lots of room and buffet style bakery. Tons of fresh baked sweet treats individually wrapped you load up on a tray and pay at the end. Great selection of teas, coffees, lattes, milk teas and lemonades. Even better was the prices. Was very quick and efficient. The tiger milk Boba was the best Ive had yet! Definitely going back and looking forward to it!
Super glad to have found another location here! Was definitely a pleasant surprise! As always this place just has the best selection of deserts and goodies obviously it can be limited due to the high traffic in area but its still a wonderful place to visit!
I was excited to come check out this new bakery in the heart of Chinatown. It was super busy and the line was all the way to the door. One register was down. I really wanted to try their pastries, it was worth the long wait time. I got all kinds of goodies. I lost track of all the names but my photos shows the details. It was awesome and their prices are extremely reasonable. I for sure will be returning again soon for more tasty pastries. The staff was focused and friendly. Easy free parking. Definitely worth a 5-star. Thanks so much!
We came twice yesterday for snacks. halfmoon cake was my favorite. i never heard this bakery chain before, but they are good, they almost sold out everything at closing time.
Unique little bakery in a unique mall. Worth the trip to pick up some baked goods. The place was clean and well organized. Prices were fair.
Came here at 8:00 pm after dinner. Its rare to have a bakery open this late ( til 9:00).Plenty of variety. Mostly sweet buns and cake items and pastry. There are coffee and Boba too. This concept is Taiwanese in origin and catching on fast in major metropolitan areas. I find items are a bit pricey. But what the heck, X,Y, Zs can dole out money.
The coffee is just average, but trust me you dont come here for the drinks. All the bakery items look absolutely fantastic all the time, and few things are more appealing then a steaming hot bun coming fresh out the oven and onto your plate. Its a fun experience me it was a grab your own pastries, and its the hardest thing to have any self-restraint here. Dont come unless youre ready to take in some delicious calories!Theres always a line during peak times, so make sure to expect a wait then.
Tried to stop in but there were lines out the door. The nice thing is they were limiting the number of people that could be in the store so it looked like controlled chaos. My wife tried coming in on Friday morning - and same thing. She said the line was about 70 people deep.So why 5 stars when I havent been in yet? I stop by the one in Irvine frequently and am always impressed by the selection of unique choices. Just as I was excited when Kura Sushi opened next door, I know a lot of CA transplants were thrilled when they found out 85 was coming to Vegas.Ill definitely post more (and pics) once I finally make it inside! Oh yeah, there was a poster in the window about getting a mug and/or a souvenir cup of some kind so I dont know if the long line was because of this - but definitely enhanced by it. Hopefully the lines get more reasonable in the next week or two.
I always love going to 85°C. Their pastries are absolutely fantastic.
Best selection of fresh baked items in Chinatown. Prices are decent. The grapefruit green tea is my go to drink. A must try👍🏾.
I’m going to have to withhold the fifth star until I can try more baked goods here. The one time we went, most of the shelves were empty and the lines were expectedly long. Whenever they yelled “Fresh bread!” while bringing out a new sheet of bread, people flocked to it ready to fight and I was having none of that.So given that we only tasted about four varieties, I can’t give it 5-stars — yet. Expect no less than a 30-minute wait, if not longer. This is the same popular bakery chain located in SoCal and also in the Bay Area.I’d highly recommend the honey bread (packaged), the butter bread (delicious), and the bread with raisin (can’t recall what it’s called - shown at the top of the first photo). The espresso bread was really not good.
My daughter took me here. Out of 20 items I bought, I only liked 2. First Bakery I didnt like.
Lots of variety and favor of tea and coffee and delicious food and bread, cake, cheesecake, strawberry cake, little pudding, I got cinnamon, and coconut logs.MN
Amazing!! We took only 10 pastries and regret we didnt take more. Super fresh, clean. I wont recommend any specific ones, because literally everything is superb!! You cant miss, other than taking too little....And their coffee meets their pastries bar.Service - impeccable.
People are so friendly, I met Julio and he recommended a coffee for me and it was delicious. We took $30.00 worth of pastries back to Phoenix, AZ for our family. Its worth the visit.
I love this bakery!!! IM SO HAPPY THEY BUILT ONE HERE IN VEGAS! Everyone is so nice and helpful! I love it! I 100% recommend ❤️
I only scrape the surface of this wonderful, newly opened bakery and my first bite was a strawberry bun filled with strawberry creme inside and it tasted otherworldly! Not only the pastries are rich in flavor! The prices are cheap! Do yourself a favor grab a bunch and fill that box. Its alright not to share, for once treat yourself.
There is a fun variety of baked goods available from milk bread to tiramisu, matcha cake rolls to hazelnut muffins, and everything in between. Also coffee as the 85^ store name is titled for. I didnt try the coffee so I look forward to going back again. Definitely a must stop location.
Service is ok, deserts are delicious and the cleaness of the place was ok. While i was there most of the tables were open but all dirty. We waited there for about 30 min, no one came to clean them, we shouldve just asked to get them clean. Eventually we just left and decided to eat them in the car. Prices are affordable and delicious. The thai tea was really good aswell.
We shared about 10 different baked goods. All very unique. Everything was delicious. Price very reasonable.
Well I personally love 85 degrees and found them while I lived in California, so knowing it was in Vegas it was actually my first stop from the plane. The iced coffee was amazing as usual, but I found their options of bakery selections limited so was a little disappointed. Came back again today, coffee was a bit too sweet for some reason, but bakery selections were great, so overall a pretty great and delicious experience.
Great pineapple cakes! Just like in Taiwan.
Love this place. Milk bread is great and mango buns.
Just awesome affordable pastries and great coffee drinks! The sea salt coffee is my favorite, it is a little less sweet than the classic 85c coffee. This plus rules!
Love this place, awesome for breakfast options & deserts! I absolutely love it 😀
Youll love to try all the different pastries
Have many interesting pastries, some really good, some okay. Would not recommend the $10 pastry bag that can be ordered on delivery apps though, we didnt like any of them, they were nothing like the ones you could pick out at the bakery... Too bad we cant order normal pastries on delivery apps.
Good selection, good flavor but make sure you received what you paid for. I went there, ordered, and when got home... surprise... was not what I ordered. Check your order before leave the store. 👍
A very different bakery, walking in for the first almost felt like a select club as everyone seemed to know to queue through grabbing tasty treats and then order. We tried 5 different items, only 1 was a bust. The coffee options were also pretty solid.
Loved their bake goods never stop buying their bakery is awesomeness good!!!! Prices are reasonable check it out for yourself!!!!!😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Ordered a cake 2 weeks in advanced, paid in full as i was told to “guarantee” the order. I get a call an hr before pickup and was told the cake wasn’t available. Even though the day before I called and the order was confirmed.Customer service was terrible. The supervisors resolution was offering a. 4 buck refund. This after throwing her entire team under the bus.So yes your frustration, disappointment and angst is only valued at 4 bucks.Terrible location. Even though it is a flagship store in the state.
My sea salt specialty drink was delicious... every sip tasted better than the last!! Every pastry purchased was delish!!
Absolutely Yummy. 💯🎂🍮🍩🍰
Always enjoy coming to this bakery. Friendly people
I really love their pastries especially the bread one 😊
Big selection of bread, all of it being fresh and fluffy! I come here everytime I visit the area.
This place is bomb. I literally loved everything here. My only regret is not getting more. I didnt realize they were all so cheap as well. I dont live in Vegas so Im definitely going to miss this place. Everyone needs to try this bakery. I wouldve posted pictures too but I ate all the breads that I bought already.
I liked the sea salt coffee. Many choices for bread and cake.
It would be 5 Stars ❗IF❗ they had the Option to heat-up whats on my Tray, because some of the buns would be great if it was warm/hot. Just a thought.
Efficient operations and delicious selection. Some of the pastries I probably wouldnt want to pay as much as it is priced, and Im sure that same sentiment can be shared with customers. Id come back for only a few items.
Love their bread variety. They dont accept tips, whatever you do, they really dont.
Lol... dangerous for the thighs.. Absolutely wonderful place!
I loved this Japanese bakery. The bread, sweet options and specially the booba drinks are amazing. Is worth the wait and the traffic.
Omg this place has the best chocolate croissants, guava pastries, smoothies, & cookies and cream mousse. No wonder the line was out the door! Will definitely go back when on this side of town again 🙌🏼
Idk why, but the quality of the pastries just isnt the same as the 85 I know from LA. The drinks are just as good though.
85 C Bakery Cafe is a dream bakery for anyone who loves delicious pastry, cake, sweet bread, coffee. This place is always so busy, and I hate waiting in line to pay.
Ive been here twice and both times have been bad experiences. The first time I came, the pastry I got was old and hard. The second time I got a couple of pastries and shared them with a few other people and we all got food poisioning. I dont know if the bakers arent being very clean when baking (i.e. not washing hands, or sneezing/coughing on baked goods) or if certain ingredients arent being stored properly but something needs to be fixed.
I’m so DISAPPOINTED with 85! I used to love this place but now they don’t even have bread in the afternoon (5pm) all the shelves are empty !! They are losing a lot of business because of this!! Especially on the weekends people crave bread and I can’t believe they only put out breads at 10am! By the time people get off of work, all the breads are gone!
Good selection, baker replaces item constantly so everything is fresh. The cashiers are super slow so expect to wait.
Great customer service, delicious.
A place that you MUST visit at least once. You wont regret it.
Best bakery in Vegas. Hands down!!! Price and taste! You must try
Was a wonderful experience. The tiramiso cake was to die for. Wish they would have more savory items like curry puffs and meat pies
I love this place it smells amazing and the cakes are lightly sweet and so pretty
My favorite bakery in LV - FRESH BREAD!!
Always soooooo yummy! I love coming here to try new things. Today I had the chocolate matcha bread and rose milk tea! So delicious :D The bread is always so fluffy. Its like a cloud
Good as always! Highly recommend 😊😊
No caloric information, how am I supposed to train for my position on my 600lb life.
The baked goods here are so good! I’ve tried the egg tarts, mango custard bun and mango creme brûlée cake and it was all yummy. The cake was light and fluffy and not too sweet. There was about a 15 minute wait outside to get in since they can only have a small capacity due to COVID but it’s so worth it.
Good selection at a great price and friendly staff. It is also one of the bigger 85°Cs Ive been to. Can be difficult to find parking when it is really busy in the plaza though.
This place sells bread. Bread with things in it, bread with things on it, sweet bread, spicy bread, desert bread, and drinks.I liked the bread.
You may have noticed the long lines and that this place is always bustling. Its for a good reason. I came here a few times with my parents and they loved it, just going crazy choosing various baked goodies to try. For the most part, Ive loved it all: fresh, yummy, and affordable. I also took friends from Europe and Latin America and they all loved it as well. The whole smell of the place when you walk in is inviting and delicious. High ceilings, plenty of space to sit, and excellent service to boot. Every interaction Ive had with the servers were friendly and pleasant. Yesterday, I went back to the register to ask for a copy of my receipt that I couldnt find and they were very kind and patient and printed me out a new copy despite being busy. My friend and I sat in the airy dining area and had a great time sampling the pastries and talking. I wish they had a self-serving water station though as the water cups were the size of shot-glasses and pastries make me thirsty.
Extremely delicous and amazing bakery items for a decent price. I am just so sad I went around closing time but each item looked extremely good
Despite the long line, everything else was great. The cookies had a tiny grimy taste to them though.
Love their egg tarts. Wasnt a fan of the Zebra Oolong tea, it had two kinds of boba in it.
Great sea salt coffee
A good variety of prepackaged treats for a cheap price.
1. Inconsistent thickness of egg tart crusts.2. Egg tarts molded the very next day.3. Nothing to rave about on all other breads& pastry.4. The sign on its door says this bakery accepts AMEX but in fact, it doesnt accept AMEX at check out. Cashiet says its system doesnt take AMEX.5. Worst of all, the way the staff packed the sliced cakes and egg tarts is absurdly unacceptable - 3 slices of cake in one box, 1 slice of cake in one box, 4 egg tarts in one box, then she literally wrapped 2 egg tarts in paper then placed them in the bottom of bag topped with other heavy items. These two egg tarts were all crushed when we got home immediately and directly from the store!😲😤😤😤
Great Asian Pastries, cakes, and drinks.Sooo good!
Live everything there. Yummy and fresh.
