Top machinists here! I brought a block and head here that was messed up at another shop. Howard took the time to explain everything to me and recommend various options with my build. In the end I took home a precisely built short block and head. They even threw in a rebuild for my oil pump.Very worth the time it took to do it right. Dont rush it!

Dropped off 2 motorcycle cases to be welded and a cylinder to be honed. I was not in a hurry, but was told it would be done the next week. It is now six weeks later, and I have been told three times it was gonna be done next week or today. I hate leaving bad reviews but do not bring work here if you expect done fast. Will update if they ever finish.

Send a crankshaft to be rebuilt really poor service took a lot of time and a lot of calls to get my crankshaft back finally show up one day pick it up just to find out the crankshaft oil port on # 6 rod journal was plugged with Remaining of spun bearing!!!!! Thanks to my good Eyes and Experience was able to notice before putting it together!!!! Watch out for these guys

Overpriced and dont expect your items to be done soon

I dropped off a intake manifold to be hot tank and magnaflux, the had it ready in 3 days and it looked like a brand new manifold. Also I thought the price of $45 was very reasonable

Ive been going to this machine shop for more than 10 years when I need my machine work done... Howard, the owner is a really good guy he helps me and guides me through my projects. Prices are good machine work is very good he always does a great job on everything I take over there. Anywhere from stock engines to my racing or high performance street engines. I will always go back over there. There are other good machine shops in town. But they always treat me right. That means a lot.

Been using them for 20 years with no problems...Have had blocks bored sleeved,, engines balanced and flywheels machine a balanced...

Howard the owner very very knowledgeable. Had a head for a 350 Chevy boat I mean within seconds he pointed everything bad and said could almost have it ready next day which delivered. Thank you guys! Hard to find a good shop. Look no further this is one stop.

These people are crooks!! Worse experience I’ve ever had!

Dropped my head off this morning to JUST get hot tanked. Talked to Howard about it.He calls me at 3:20pm saying it’s done been surfaced and hot tanked and the price is $145. I called the night before and talked to him over the phone about a price on just hot tank, he told me $20.I call back his wife answers and argues with me that I’m lying and that was never said.I don’t understand why I have to pay for a job I never asked for. This is the first time I’ve had a problem with them I brought them a head once before to get the same job done with no issues.

Had this place do two different sleeve installs. The first one they did they cracked the cylinder, then we decided to move up to a different sleeve to fix the problem. But that just created another problem of the sleeves being installed wrong. The coolant passes strait Into the oil pan. Gave up on that engine let them try again on my spare block, big mistake they did the same improper install again. Also had a crank that spun a bearing repaired by them, I guess I didnt learn the first two mistakes. The welding they did to the crank came apart the first week the engine was running. Just save yourselves the trouble find another shop.
