Called to get a quote and was immediately answered but the person on the phone was nothing but rude and condescending, not too sure who they have working the phone but they have 0 customer service I didn’t even want to consider them after just calling go to another shop and save yourself a headache.

Do not go there. I was built a $5000 engine that does not run. Have called three times with know response. Will take your funds and will not back up his work. Had to take eng to another shop for repairs with additional cost.

Brought in some heads to this place they gave me back a head that looked to be dropped. They JB wielded back on the chipped corner and gave it back to me after already being 4 days late on getting the job done. When i asked about it they said it was already there but failed to inform me because they thought it would be ok

I took my head gasket the old guy there was rude to me from beginning made a bad remark implying i was talking to fast all i said was 05 hinda accord then he asked me engine size i told him 2.4 i think he said you. think in a rude manner i told him its 4 cycle just rude condescending very unprofessional

The owner was very rude quoted me 75 then out of no where was 4.50 fee then i said wow added. Ore fees was rude then told me i could get it done else where.Dont waste your time and moneyVegas machine is cheaper

Unfortunately there are a few poor comments (not everyone can be pleased), I have had nothing but great service and informative conversations with both Red and Gabe. These guys have generously given their time to thoroughly discuss what services they were supplying, the time frame involved, and reasonable costs of the project.The open door policy is amazing, the they have never been too busy to answer my questions or offer meaningful advise in the project(s) that I have or am working on.Nothing in life is ever really perfect, and projects often have things that have to be tweaked. I have found that by showing respect you will get respect. The guys at this shop are all about quality work and great customer service.Highly recommend!

I just picked the bare block, crank, pistons, rods& cam. All work looks very good. There was a miscommunication about cost and red took care of the situation immediately with 0 argument. Pricing was acceptable. Turn over on work was a little slow, but they explained that the rod machine was down for repairs. I love the open door policy. Just walk in there shop and go find your machinist. Business is veteran owned. All in all satisfied so far. Now to build the motor.

Nice guys, seem helpful. Red was very informative..Was a little upset when they denied scratching up my brand new in box never touched pistons. Said was already like that.. I know and so did they Red know it was all BS.. So I lost my trust in them.. So I chose to not have my motor finished by them. Shop seems a little run down. Not very clean.

Went in asked to have my honda heads resurfaced and in about 3 days got them back earlyer ther what they said red was amazing and awsome customer service i will be going back and will be refering to every one ty red

Thought Great but was proven wrong. Fred seemed awesome but let me down. I took in a 4c block and crank for evaluation. We had damage and warping but Fred suggested they had already rebuilt the same engine for another customer who had paid half then left town. I could have the rebuilt for $1500 with no core. I saved weeks and bought it. Installed it...every single exterior bolt on timing cover, head, oil pan etc. was loose. Fixed that, fired it up...they left out a 3/8 plug on the block BEHIND THE TIMING COVER! grrr...ran it 180 miles, water in the oil...pulled the head and there were two spots of chewing gum weld, one right between two cylinders. Looked through everything and Fred said they collected $2500 on an engine they never pulled or installed and all they did for that was replace one valve and one piston head/rings. I live too far out of town to shuttle back and forth to him, if you go there live close, get it in writing first, insist on meeting an actual machinist, and inspect, inspect, inspect.

Great customer service, up front with recommendations and costs, wont try to sell you anything you dont really need, normally fast turn around times, ALWAYS high quality work, even going beyond to clean everything and keep it bagged and covered to male sure everything looks like it just came from the factory, will always choose this shop for any machining needs in the future.

The two star Im giving is a place holder until I have my engine back in and running......I dropped my engine off on April 17th 2018 with a timeline of 3-4 weeks given by Red. I know things come up as a business owner so I figured I would give them 6 weeks.At week 4 I called the shop and was told 2-3 more weeks. This really put me in a bind as I took a week of vacation starting on that 6th week I mentioned earlier. Now Im out a weeks of vacation.I call again 3 weeks after they said 2-3 weeks......Its going to be another 2-3 weeks. Keep in mind I never received one phone call from the shop saying it was delayed.3 weeks goes by and I stop by the shop......Oh we are working on your engine now it will be done Friday. Great I let them know I will be by Sat morning to pick up......I call Friday towards the end of the day and another delay, they have the wrong head gasket and cant get one in for a week and half.At this point I have my engine but the lack of communication really did not make me trust the shop. I feel my engine never was even worked on until a few weeks before I actually received it back. I let Red know of my displeasure and asked for some type of compensation, I was given a a 4% discount which was slightly a slap in the face.If I was told it would take 12 weeks from the begging no problem. If they would have just called me to let me know it was not going to be done by the 4 dead lines they communicated, no biggie. The lack of communication is horrible. They may build a solid engine and know what they are doing but be prepared to be left in the dark.Once I get the car up and running and I put some miles on the engine I may come and change the star rating up 1, but I feel that communication in this industry needs to be just as good as the end product.**Updated**After getting the engine in the car and getting ready for initial fire up I got no oil pressure coming from the pump. I have tried every trick in the book to get oil pressure built with no luck. Im under the assumption that during instal something has gone wrong and now I have to either remove the engine and bring down to the shop for them to look into it or tear into it myself........ I would not recommend this shop after the horrible experience I have gone through and the lack of concern on my behalf from the shop...... Its sad. Changed to 1 star

I decided to use this machine shop to rebuild my Toyota 4-cyl engine last October. Their prices were very fair and the person I worked with was great (Fred). They promised a one year warranty on if they assembled the engine, so I decided to let them do it.Due to some distractions I was not able to get the engine back in my car until January. Upon startup, there were some very clear timing issues. After removing the valve cover, I found that 2 of the lift bolts were missing. Luckily no damage but its about a 6 hour job to get them installed - easily done with the engine in the car.When I called the shop to explain the situation, the person I spoke to (Red) was very defensive and rude. The first thing he said to me was We finished the motor in October and you just barely noticed a missing bolt! - with a very condescending tone. I had never been treated so poorly as a customer in my life. I was told the only way they would touch the motor is if it was removed from the car and delivered to them - then they would maybe consider it. I tried to see if they would work with me at all (helping to remove engine, help find someone who would work on it in the car, etc.) The conversation ended with, You should have read the fine print at the bottom of your invoice... this conversation is over. And he hung up on me.I am not as upset about the fact that they would not help me, but more about how poorly I was treated over the phone. I honestly can say that I have never been this upset with customer service.I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Fred was very helpful, very honest people and well priced... will be going back for all my machine shop needs!!!

On Xmas eve the anniversary of a sentimental passing in my family I called to get the engine rebuilt on the car that my relative HAD OWNED proceeded to tell this guy who answered the phone what type of car I had and he tells me to get rid of the vehicle I thought this was the worst customer service due to this is a business that repairs these type of situations and they are turning business away its safe to say that I WILL NEVER CONSIDER OR REFER THEM TO ANYONE and I work closely in their field THIS GUY SHOULD BE FIRED BUT MAYBE THATS WHAT THEY THINK CUSTOMER SERVICE IS
