I hate to leave a two star rating, but the last day out of the 5 days I went there was a bad experience. Joe is a really down to earth and humble man. But his nephew is rude and needs to work on his customer service. October 4th I got there a few minutes before closing, I already knew what I wanted and was ready to pay. They were not accepting credit cards. So I told him I would be back the next day with cash. The coin was $175 and Joes nephew tried charging me $178. Said that prices change every day. But it wasnt my fault that the day before you werent accepting credit cards. $3 is no big deal for me. Its the principle. Lost my business for $3. Word of advice... dont assume everybody knows everything about coins. Thats what you guys are there for, to educate and answer questions about the coins. The rudeness is totally unnecessary.

Chris is so helpful and genuine. He took the time to help us figure out what was worth keeping as well as giving us really good information. We felt he was really fair. We will definitely be coming back in the future with more coins.

I went to Archangel Coins when I stopped by in Vegas and cant say enough good things about this place. It has a wide variety of both high quality and highly interesting coins. I have always been a get a little bit of every kind of coin coin collector. They had coins I had never even seen and were very helpful and knowledgeable. They gave me great deals and I plan to add a stop off to visit them anytime I pass through the area. As a side note they also have some very interesting history rich antiques. Not your typical junk but stuff that is memorable enough to be desired for anyones collection. I cant wait for my next stop by this place!

Only the best coin shop spanning the globe! Î bought a 1918 D dime and found out it was a 1916 D. I would never get mad at them for that. I might thank them them for giving me the key to the series because I suspect he might have done this on purpose! What great people! Folks, this is by far the best shop ever! Criss your my hero!

Such a great place! Our 11 year old has been collecting coins and wanted to take some pennies in to get looked at. The staff at Archangel Coins spent plenty of time with our son explaining what he had and what else to look for. It was very encouraging for our son who isn’t always taken seriously by coin shops. This place is great, with some really neat coins and other pieces. A big thank you to them for a great experience!

Chris was awesome! Knowledgeable and was happy to look things up on the spot. Was able to provide more context behind my items instead of just giving me a dollar amount it really gave me a better appreciation for the items I have. Plus I was given an ice cold water bottle which is always a plus!

EXCEPTIONAL… Beyond the doors of this unassuming storefront was a surprisingly pleasant peek into history. Expect a warm greeting (both human and canine) and a courteous staff willing to entertain general questions and curiosities alike. I came across them by their Google review which has lead me post one of my own. I’ve been a collector of foreign currency throughout my travels and I had a series of old coins that from the States that I decided to sell. Long story short, I called the wrong place first and went to an alleged coin dealer, which I’ll leave unnamed, but if you’re around the intersection of Jones and Flamingo KEEP DRIVING!…go North on Jones to Alta and then make a right. Archangel Coin will be in the complex to your right, just before Decatur. I spoke with Chris and he actually inspected the coins that I had brought in as opposed the other dealer who quoted a dramatically undervalued price at a glance in a dimly lit room which was a far cry from even the actual silver weight value of the coins - You ever feel dirty when you leave a place? That’s what that first place was like for me. As for Archangel Coins, I felt well taken care of and respected as a customer. The difference was night and day; or heads and tails in this event (I couldn’t resist the pun). I’d gladly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a reputable coin dealer in the Vegas area. Sidebar: they did have a whole bunch of other cool stuff in the shop as well; it was fun to walk around. Thanks again for the help Chris!

Ive been dealing with a major coin dealership in Las Vegas for many years. Lately I found out that they werent really as great as I thought when I had some gold to sell and their buying price was very low. I called Archangel and was happy with the higher price quoted on the phone. Archangel is the best coin shop in Las Vegas in my opinion. I will always go to them for buying or selling coins in the future.

I just visited Archangel coins a few days ago. After going to over 4 different coin stores throughout the city, I can tell you without question these are the most friendly, patient and professional people you will find in the business. Tony helped me for over an hour and a half. I told him that I had a lot of things to look through, and he said dont worry no problem. He calmly looked at everything I had, gave me the best price possible, and took the time to show me and explain everything that I had. The price they gave me for all my silver coins was more than all the other stores quoted. If you are looking to sell silver coins, at the very least please give these gentleman a call. You owe it to yourself to talk to them. Archangel coins was fantastic. They were patient, honest, and professional. Awesome job guys!

Knowledge, honesty, and legitimate enthusiasm for the hobby, are in my opinion, the most important traits for a dealer. This dealer has all of those traits. Very friendly environment, walking into the store doesnt feel like walking into a business. Have visited the store several times, never disappointed. I highly recommend this shop.

They have cool antiques and sweet old coins displayed nicely for all to see. (or take home for the right price) They are nice people and very informative, they will be armed but you dont have to worry about a thing, unless you try something really stupid! Haha

The best place in town to sell your coins and it could be left at that but these guys are the most reasonable men in the business. Top dollar paid and most other places dont even come close to paying as well. No need to waste your time going somewhere else. I wish I had found this place a long time ago. I walk out their door knowing I got the best deal that I can get anywhere. Ive had other owners of other stores and the employees clearly try to take advantage of me but not at Archangel. Nobody treats their customers better. Very friendly on top of being beyond fair. Five stars all around

They wont return any of my emails and when I called they answer the phone with, hello......, Thats it. The guy I talked to had no interest in any of my questions and seemed bothered by the call. I live far away and just needed them to advice me on whether it was worth for me to drive down to have my coins appraised. Literally no help what so ever. Not sure why this place has such high reviews?

Best place to gar from the places Ive been, I was interested in pennies, Im on a low budget I bought an Indian Head and 5 1943, the owner was very nice. Very good shop and highly recommend, I will visit again If I need to look at some pennies I am unfamiliar with.

(All about profit), It’s a business and making as much money as possible is the main goal. 2. (All about relationships), building relationships with the customer is the path to long term profit and success. Let’s be honest, for most people, coin collecting and bullion stacking is a hobby that depends on discretionary income. We that practice this hobby want the best deal possible AND a friendly shop that aids us as we strive to build our collections. When you come across a shop owner who understands the hobby AND the needs and desires of the collector, one who is willing to go for the long term profit that comes from a long term relationship with the collector, A shop that forgoes the fast buck to be made by nickel and diming every little transaction and going for quantity over quality when it comes to customer relations… You make that shop and it’s owner your go-to for all hobby needs, you happily pay a bit more here and there knowing you are given fair and sometimes great deals most other times.It’s been awhile, but I’ve found me go-to shop… Archangel Coins is a family owned shop.
