Went to the silver and gold pawnshop. Itβs amazing to see the items for sale. But for tourists like myself who visited here and go on vacation for a good time, the prices need to be lowered. I mean thousands of dollars for jewelry, dear lord, not everyone is a millionaire and a picture framed poster of the sopranos tv show was going for hundreds of dollars. They had a lot of stuff that was 20% off. But it should be 50% off. I donβt know how pawnshops stay in business but this one was featured on Tv and is famous, so I can see why the prices are extremely high.
Omg we got there an 2 people was in line at 930ish am and Rick Harrison walked up knocked on the door and they let him in and we was In such shock he walked up no one got a Pic of his smiling face. Way cool place. Thanks Rick for smiling walking up to your store made my whole week worth wild. Love your show β€
It was exciting! We got there in the morning 3rd group in line and waited to get in. When we got in the store we were allowed to roam around and take pictures. The employees were ready to let us shop what was available. We got to look at jewelry and we asked questions about the art. Everyone was educated about merchandise. All employees were polite and eager to help. Before we left they suggested we go over to try the BBQ. Which was very good!
Its ok but not what i expected. Its much smaller than you would imagine it to be. Yes there was a lot of cool memorabilia inside, but nothing you would think for a pawn shop this famous. If youβre lucky you might run into one of the cast members as it is there shop and they come and go as they please. Some cool artwork is in the rear of the store and you can buy some unique souvenirs from the show if you wish
Went yesterday to see pawn shop and they had a meet and greet time ...so we did that and disappointed! Rick seemed like he didnβt even want to be there! Huh but making lots of money! Oh well just another tourist attraction Had spent like around $700 day before. Now hope buy was worth the money and not just priced high!? ??? Sherry Buoy
My wife and I have been here numerous times (we are big fans). In 2018, we were lucky enough to be chosen to be on a segment on one of their episodes, featuring a Blue Max Medal with Rick. AWESOME!!!!!! In 2019, we brought our 9 year old boy and he loved it. Will be in Vegas again late August 2021 and defiantly going here again. A fun tourist destination. Get your souvenir.
Went in recently to sell an art piece and visit the store as a fan of the show. The art piece has been authenticated by skinner (largest auction Co in US) which I told them. The Pawn Shop told me it had no value and was a print reproduction π . So I took it to another expert in Las Vegas and he confirmed it to be 100% authentic with a value over $1k. You guys need a new art expert π since the one you currently have doesnt appear to know what he is talking about. I did enjoy visiting the store though. Would have been nice to see Rick, Corey or Chum. 1 star as a seller, 4 stars as a fan.
We had a great time at the Gold & Silver. It is smaller than television represents but is still full of merch. Rick has set up a complete visitor experience with, BBQ, Chumlee candy store and a nice patio and balcony. We made the rounds to our favorite reality shows in Vegas and had a blast! Check out Counts Kustoms as well. Not far from the pawn shop.
Nice pawn show. Had some really rare coins... was told they were probably fake and to bring something back that showed they werent. Nothing like the show. Seen no one from the show. Nice items for sale, $$$$ (b/c of rarity).
What an experience to meet this iconic place! Totally worth it the visit, even if youre not a fan of the TV show (I think thats quite impossible), afterall, its a pawn shop. Dont think youre going to meet any of the characters, cause theyre never there, also, there are a few souvenirs and the staff is pretty kind. There is a mall in front of it, with some restaurants and stuff, it belongs to them as well. Therefore, a good place to know once in a lifetime.
Just a heads up the place is not a fancy retail store youll see at the Palazzo it is an actual Pawn Store and the prices are lower too. We stop at pawn shops when we travel, never know what we will see. We were in Las Vegas and decided to stop in. Ended up getting anUS Army World War 1 piece that didnt break the bank.
My family has been a big fan of the show and Rick in particular. We stopped into the store about two weeks ago. We were lucky in our timing and were only in line for a couple of minutes. We knew better than to expect to see anyone from the show, and knew the shop was much smaller than it appears on TV. It was nice to see and say weve been there, but I was particularly disappointed by the inventory. That is the reason for the three stars. I had hoped I might actually find an interesting purchase. But only three categories of items comprise 98% of the inventory: gold and silver coins and jewelry (imagine that), artwork (paintings, drawings and sculpture), and curated movie and entertainment memorabilia. These last are matted and framed movie props. While nicely done and some very interesting, they make up a sizable portion of the inventory. Apart from this there are is one small counter space with some misc items, mostly quite ordinary knives. There are almost NONE of all of the wide variety of interesting items of every description that you see brought into the shop on the show. And not a single guitar. Personally disappointing
Stopped by just to grab a picture. They have a big parking lot to accommodate all the visitors. There is the gold and silver pawn shop and another shopping center that is associated across the way. I have been to Vegas a bunch of times and I am surprised we havenβt stopped here before now. They seem to have a queue for any overflow so it looks like it does get busy. Highly recommend for the novelty factor. RIP OLD MAN π΄ π
Do not purchase anything from their online sales. Jeff with their online orders is absolutely horrible at customer service and just scammed me out of roughly $800 when he sold the item I purchased. In February of this year, I purchased three items through their website through affirm. One item was delivered, another was immediately refunded because they sold it already. The final item was Budweiser Clydesdales sign. Apparently, I missed the fine print as they wanted local pickup, however, Jeff stated he could ship it if I paid for shipping. I stated I would pay for shipping just get me a price. A few weeks passed by and I didnβt get any information on shipping cost so I called the online ordering. The lady that answered assured me they would contact me as soon as they found out a cost. Another few weeks passed by so I called again. This time I asked for Jeff. Jeff called me back and assured me he could get it shipped. I told him I have a few friends that are locals that could pick it up but he assured me, it would be shipped. As the weeks continued to pass by, I kept calling and got the standard β we will call you backβ but no one ever did. It wasnβt until I finally showed up in Vegas that Jeff then tells me there was a inventory βissueβ and the product was no longer available but I could have the Budweiser sign in the below photos.Iβm pretty angry at that point because itβs now July and this has been going on since February. I declined his offer and asked for my money back for the item I didnβt receive. ( see photos)Jeff agreed and here we are in August, and I have no refund. I no longer support this shop and will be letting everyone I know how I was scammed out of $800. I have checked with affirm, no credits have been issued from gold and silver pawn.At this point, after consultation from my attorney, a civil suit will be filed and Iβll be seeking a tremendously higher amount than the original cost. Itβs a shame, a βworld famousβ pawn shop resorts to scamming money from people. Buyer beware, donβt purchase from this business.
This was so disappointing, and the employees were to say the least, rude! My parents just visited Sept. 19-2021 this morning. My parents who are elderly have been fans of the show and traveled from another state to Las Vegas; specifically to visit the pawn shop only for a grand disappointment. My father (who is 90) asked for help and one of the employees didnt even let my father explain that he needed- he had some coins he wanted to sell, and the rude employee (bearded man) said oh we dont do that here and just walked away from my dad. Leaving my dad without helping him or listening to what my dad was interested in doing with the coins. This was only the beginning of their nightmare. My mother on the other part of the shop spoke with a Latin lady behind the counter- who spoke to my mother in Spanish, who was equally as rude, and left my mother in mid sentence as she walked away to help other customers- while my mother was in mid sentence inquiring about some jewelry. This was an absolute sham, and clearly their services are all for the show. Their customer service is far from what it is on the show, and have disrespectful people working there who dont focus on good customer service. They were rude, and careless, my parents felt discriminated upon- besides being ageist and not interested in helping their kind. Its a shame because my dad wanted to visit this store, after being a dedicated fan and making the long trip at 90 years old.Dont waste your time at this store, its a sham and dont treat customers well. Very disappointed...I wouldnt even give it a star if I didnt have to.
Its like what you see on TV. Landmark place in Las Vegas. It was a packed house. Very Nice Establishment. Good prices. Wide selections. Bought a few items. They had the classic Atari and Sega Genesis game system. A real live DJ on site. A Tupac and Nipsey Hussle plaque. Old War Guns and knives. I had just missed Chumlee.... dang it! Lol
Yo quisiera saber si compran monedas morgan del aΓ±o 1888I would like to know if you buy Morgan coins from the year 1888.
Definitely glad I stopped in as it was a fun experience to walk around and see the shop on TV.That being said, I didnβt see any of the family seen on TV so that was a little disappointing. Otherwise this is a one of a kind pawn shop and you honestly wonβt see another one in the world with the amount of rare sports memorabilia or antiques.
I used Gold & Silverβs online platform where I was able to work a deal on a few items. I spent a large some of money & was giving a tracking number with a required signatures which was comforting. I got them within days of wiring my cash, in better then expected condition, not to often you can say that. Not to mention βKrystalβ was a pleasure to work with and always got me an answer all the way til I received my item.I highly recommend the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop!
Was super excited to enter this store knowing the show and watching it with my partner, but sadly Iβm never gonna come back with the attitude that the front cashier gave to me and my girlfriend for a simple question. He was completely rude for absolutely no reason even though we were extremely nice. Even heard the guy being rude the older gentlemen in front of us. I donβt even care that he didnβt want to buy the item off of us. It was just the way he acted with no reason for being rude whatsoever. Take your business elsewhere if you value customer service. Just because the pawn shop is from a tv show doesnβt mean you have to act all high and mighty.
Visited last weekend during my Vegas trip. It was a dream come true. I grew up watching this show and couldnβt believe I was there. Unfortunately couldnβt meet anyone famous there but there was a pretty realistic Rickβs photo stand that you can take picture with. Great collectible items, saw some that were featured on the tv show. Had an amazing time.
Corey what did u do by yourself ? Your look always changing prove that you dont have any personality ! Do something out of the shop and show the world that u are something else than a poor son unable to grow! YOURE AWFUL AND WEAK!
Was a must see, and it was great to see for ourselves after watching the show. The shop is very clean with lots of wonderful items. Staff was very polite and engaging when approached.
Watch this place on TV for a long time and finally got to visit it. I wish I got to visit when it was still a normal pawn shop. Now its just set up for sales and marketing. But still a great visit. Take your family the loved ones and they will have a good time.
Lots of fun. Items that regular people can afford. Covid-cautious. Free parking.
I am very happy with my experience with The Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. The item was as described and was packaged well. The item came when estimated and free of damage. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who was looking for a unique gift with affordable pricing and great service. I would like to say thank you for such a pleasurable shopping experience.
Look...who isnt a fan of this place? Well, Im a diehard fan and love everything about Pawn Stars. I think what is going on, is the locals do talk on the street about how boring it is coming to visit here. Mainly saying you can literally tour the entire place in 1/2 an hour. And it would be a miracle to ever see one of the guys there, let alone catch them filming. But I say this...the pawn shop is legitimate and is conducting regular business during the day. The guys wouldnt sit there all day, when they have many other business ventures to attend to. It is what it is at the end of the day, a hole in the wall pawn shop in the middle of the desert. But is the coolest one there is. And soooo worth checking out. Who knows, maybe youll get luckier than me and get to see one of them when there. Oh yeah, the rib joint next door has amazing food. Lots of fun to come check out, easy and free parking.
My mom and I visited the shop and both purchased items. Patrick was very helpful with my purchase, he was patient with my many questions. Iβm super excited about receiving my item. Itβs something that isnβt easily accessible. Staff overall was very friendly. We got there when it first opened so itβs wasnt too crowded, but by time we left and went next door for lunch there was a line out the door.
Great place to visit! Even saw a the Old Man (RIP) and Rick in the back! Made me feel like I was in the show except I didnt get to haggle with anyone.
Outstanding customer service - and fantastic deals. Rickβs staff is point. Jacob assisted me and my wife with a purchase of a gorgeous 2kt Diamond ring for an excellent value. No way no how could I get this kind of deal in Atlanta! Thank you!!!
As a fan of the Pawn Stars show, this was a fun stop. Plenty of exciting items behind the counters; too many figurines though tbh. There is another area next door with shops themed after the stars. The show is filmed in a studio that looks like the real shop, but you can tell itβs not quite the same.
Visited 6/25 awesome employees and merch. As we was leaving shop my car battery died super weird it was a new battery...but my now wife ran in and asked for a jump box and employee Eric came out with a pair of cables and helped flag down a second patron to jump my car. Oddly we stopped in to kill a little time before our ceremony...so big shout out to Eric for us making our wedding on time. These are the type of employees that really make a business and maybe he deserves a raise @rickharrison
Like everyone else, we came here because we love Pawn Stars. It was fun to see the store from the show, but wow its smaller than we expected! And the prices were outrageous on almost everything we saw inside, but we did leave with a few neat little souvenirs (specifically of the store). This was pre-Covid by the way.
We visited here a couple years ago when we spent Christmas/New Years in Las Vegas. Contrary to what we heard that its all a gimmick, Rick Harrisons Pawn Shop has tons of items for sale and is actually pretty large. We filled out the forms and was hoping that Chumlee would call us this week. He picks 5 random names every week and spends time with them. How about the Steelers poster framed for sale with all 6 Super Bowl rings? We ended up leaving wishing I bought the Rat Packs Photo at the Sands with Playing Cards. We got back to our room at Ballys and called Ricks and found out it was already sold! Well, that was quick! No problem as when we got back home, I found a similar item for sale of Ebay for less. It even had poker chips from the Sands. Buyer beware.
Ive got to say. I wasnt really impressed. Thats not to say that the shop didnt have interesting stuff but overall its small. I guess my expectations were a bit too high after watching the show for years but I was thinking there would of been more. I tried to justify it a bit by thinking that maybe the volume of people would make it hard for them to maintain a certain order but then I crossed the street to the toy store. It was way nicer, had a wonderful selection, it was more interesting visually and more open even though it was in a small space. I dont know. This is obviously an initial reaction but I dont see myself going back.
Awesome place to see, alot of cool items and the staff was all very nice . Very cool to see the famous pawn shop, and the best part we happened to be there when they were filming so we got to be extras while cory was there doing a deal . I love pawn stars so for that to happen to work out the way it did was awesome
We came, we saw. It was okay. Itβs your standard old school pawn shop. Appreciated the parking lot attendants
Its my dream to visit this place because i am a big fan of pawn stars & after visiting pawn shop i will tell you this place is amazingly superb, they have some antique collections, selected currencies, beautiful jewelleries .amazing place to visit with free parking. must visit
I totally love this place...! Even I could see Chumlee at his candy store :) If you are a big fan of Pawn Stars, you should go there. Also staffs are super nice
They still operate as a Pawn shop, but these days this location is mostly a tourist trap for fans of the show. They have a huge merchandise section and in the event of one of the stars stopping by you can only meet them if you buy something for $20 or more. They day we visited Chumlee was there. The TV show itself is not filmed in the shop. They built an exact replica of it behind the shop which is setup for filming. We were hassled as we parked for some timeshare affair which may or may not be affiliated with the shop.Beware of the area. Even in daylight this is a very dangerous part of town. If you must visit, take a cab/Uber or rent a car.
My husband and parents are huge fans of Pawn Stars and we came here and we ended up buying something for our daughter and a shirt. My dad bought some silver. We really enjoyed our visit! They had nice employees as well. I do wish we couldve seen the Pawn Stars gang!
FacebookWatsappVery very goog tank you beybe
I stopped in and bought an item that needed to be shipped. After almost 2 weeks they finally shipped the item. Very frustrating, especially since I paid them to ship it. Not very timely.
Nice staff is a most stop if you watch the show. Super cool items and paintings. The paintings make you feel like youβre in a museum.
Ive watched a lot of the episodes so it was a nice surprise to bump into this shop. I wasnt exactly looking for this pawn shop, I was just walking around the area, trying to get to downtown when I suddenly saw a familiar sign. Naturally, I decided to make a stop. The security was really nice and inside the shop, there are many interesting collectible items and artifacts. I didnt really ask anything to the shopkeeper as I only wanted to see how it is inside. Its bigger than I had expected. Youre allowed to take pictures, but not videos.
Looks like any other decent pawnshop. Rick and other tv show members were not there. Tons of stuff for sale. You can take picture with life size cardboard Ricks cutout board. A lot of tourists inside. Popular tv show enthusiast spot. Free parking.
I thought because of the presence on TV they would actually treat people reasonable... 70% below spot value on silver.... Dont even waste your time............... a bunch of con artists
This place was great. Super polite and helpful staff and even free parking. Occasionally, one of the cast members of Pawn Stars will come by and youβll get to meet them. I met Chumlee. Definitely stop by here, itβs pretty cool.
100x Bettet than the show appears...
Love the show! Had to visit while in Las Vegas and buy some souvenirs.
I wil come to your pawn shop in 2022 your biggest fan in india β€οΈ
Parking can be tough at peak times. Expect a crowd and be patient inside. Itβs not as glamorous as an episode of the show, but fans will be enthralled. And, of course, itβs a really good pawn shop all things considered.
Its the best place to go in Vegas. As far as a pawn shop, you can always talk the price down. Owners and employees are very friendly. I go there all the time when Im in Vegas and always buy something.
This is another place that you must visit while in Las Vegas. If you are out fan of pawn stars History Channel You will feel like a kid in a candy store. Do not expect to see Rick and the gang here However you can take a lot of pictures of the pawn shop. A lot of great stuff that you were seeing on the show. You can also take a photo with Rick Harris unfortunately its just a cut out :-) Whatever Im in Las Vegas I stop by here for at least couple hours. Highly recommended
The largest variety collection of unique rare items that are at a decent price and are unable to find anywhere else. Just like the TV show.
Television can earn you big money :) But Its just a pawn shop, nothing special. The store is small, and its mostly jewelry. The stars of the show are famous now, so they dont actually work in the pawn shop, that day the owner was there, no pictures aloud, so when the guard want to take picture of my Blown Harley, I say no picture aloud :) Was up and down the strip on bike, so paid a visit.
My is name is ryan roodal is from the caribbean I have lot off coin
Being a regular viewer of their tv show, i was eager to visit this place during my vegas trip. Shop looks rather smaller and different than what it appears over television, but still there collection is awesome. I purchased souvenirs from here on my first visit. This place remains a bit crowded as it became tourism spot after coming over television.
Loved the show but totally different once you are inside the store as you are sort of expecting to see Rick and the crew doing their thing. Worth the visit though if you are like Pawn Stars.
Great place. They have toys, jewelry and beautiful picture galleries. I thought I was going to meet Ric and the guys from the show but they wasnt there. There was a lot of nice staffs there.
Great Experience especially as a fan of the show! Employees are really nice and answer all your questions. Gifts and souvenirs are available to purchase. Also they do have parking on site.
Great little stop if youβre in town and love βPawn Starsβ. Wonβt take you long to visit- maybe 30 minutes tops:)
I was excited walking in to see all the things they had displaying. The back where they had art and fossils was my favorite. Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Norman Rockwell to name a few.On the way out my eyes where caught by the antique gun a 1730 Flintlock Pistol made for Royalty. Iβve now added this beauty into my wishlist. It was like walking through a free museum. And now some History and Real Estate Fun Facts:In April 1981, Harrison and his wife and three sons moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he and his son Rick opened Gold & Silver Coin Shop in a 300 square foot shop at 1501 Las Vegas Boulevard. In 1986, he relocated the business to a larger building at 413 Fremont Street. The businesss lease expired in 1988. In 1989, Rick opened what would become the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop at 713 Las Vegas Boulevard South, located less than two miles from the Las Vegas Strip.#vegas #659keys #pawn
I was short payday because I made the mistake of using the Bank of America app to take pictures of my check - instead is going to the bank and getting cash. It was Friday and the money would not post till Monday! Oh no - needed to pay rent or get a fine.So I went to Gold & Silver Pawn Shop - and just like its name says, they gave me a loan based upon my 22 karat gold chain. The annual percentage rate is 168.31% Let me write that down again so you know it is not a type error. The annual percentage rate is 168.31%Banks do not give survival loans to normal people - unless you access your credit cards, or they also get you for bouncing checks. I am looking at you Bank of America! Anyway, when you have no choice - you take what you can.The location has a 24 hour window to do your after hours transactions. The place closes doors at around 5 or 8. Not sure.I went inside, as the business was still staffed and opened. They did not try to rip me off - like others did, they weighed it, tested it and I guess gave me a fair price.$200.00 loan on a 22 karat, 30.6/yg size 20 whatever that means. The finance charge is $85 dollars and there is a 5 dollar fee for the paper work.Could have been worse. I felt safe inside. The outside was sleezy, with a porno store / peep show across the street ( ah hem... review on that maybe later ...) Anyway, got my loan and paid my rent. All in all I would recommend Gold & Silver Pawn Show if you are in a super bind and in need of a pawn shop and no other viable options are available to you.
I am from new york and always see the show on tv. Was one great experience seeing the shop in person. I bought a coin over 2000 years old and got a good deal on it! Didnt see any of the stars from the show but had great customer service. Parking lot was crazy and the store was cramped but all in all an amazing place to check out! I am sorry that the old man passed away my condolences goes out to all the employees and family members!
Free parking, free tours. This place is great, so much cool stuff inside. The cast works Monday-Friday even when not filming the show. They still take time off to themselves for the holidays so you may not see them. Worth the visit, and better than other sights that you would actually have to pay for in Vegas.
Exciting to visit the location of the famous Tv serial, i havent met Rick but ill try next time
Nice shop, lots of cool star wars things, old Vegas memorabilia, and lots of really cool old coins. Staff was very nice.
A great place to find some unique items and see where they filmed the tv show. It is smaller in person though.
Pretty cool to see where the show is produced. Didnt recognize anyone but we bought a shirt and a few low priced gimmicks for the kids. Staff nice and willing to share stories
If you are a fan of Pawn Stars (starting to film next season this September) then you have to drop by for the sheer thrill of it. They have an incredible array of items and this is one pawn store I would actually buy something at.Rick apparently bartends at his bar located next door on Friday and Saturday nights.Nice staff. You wont be dissapointed.
Fun place to come after watching the show! They had good stuff and the prices werenβt that bad either.
So I βpurchasedβ a vintage WHO shirt online yesterday for $125. The shirt aired in the show the day prior which was estimated to be worth $100 by their own expert. I get a confirmation email saying the order was complete and shipped. Today they cancelled the order saying it was priced lower that what they paid for the shirt. This was a lie since you can just watch the show and see what they paid for it. This episode just aired two day ago. They reposted the shirt for $325!!! And said they had the right to do that. I loved this show and I am a huge fan but this is sad. So disappointed. This was a gift for my dad that loves The Who. Now itβs more than I can pay. I understand business but thereβs also something called ethics. I just have no words to describe the disappointment. You guys need to do better than this.Sincerely,Disappointed Fan
For a show that has a lot of cool and unique items coming through, where is it at in the store? Honestly it seems like a bunch of well... Junk.
Looks bigger on TV. Cool stop with greasy food next door.
For anyone wondering, no the cast does not actually work at the pawn shop, there are a few reviews claiming they do. This is false. However it is a great place to visit and get an idea of the show, and maybe purchase an antique.
Never seen the real pawn shop itself, but I watch Pawn Stars and the inside looks good. Great famous staff and wonderful prices.
This is another example of poor television programming. Pawn stars is on the same level as honey boo boo. Makes me glad I donβt use cable.
Nice place...smaller than on TV but they have parking on both sides of the building. Big on the outside.
I went there and was offered $10 for an old Goldfield Mining token that is perfect ! The counter idiot pulled one up on Ebay that had been buried in the mud for 100 years and beaten with a hammer . I held it up to the screen and he was to stupid to see the difference !RIP OFF !
